(Hebrew) וַיָּשָׁב וַיָּחֶל לְלַמֵּד עוֹד הַפַּעַם עַל־שְׂפַת הַיָּם וַהֲמוֹן עַם־רָב נִקְהֲלוּ אֵלָיו עַד אֲשֶׁר־יָרַד וַיֵּשֶׁב בָּאֳנִיָּה בְּתוֹךְ הַיָּם וְכָל־הָעָם עֹמְדִים עַל־הַחוֹף בַּיַּבָּשָׁה׃ א Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:1 He began to teach again by the sea. How will you understand all the parables?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:14---- (Hebrew) הַזֹּרֵעַ הֲלֹא הוּא הַזֹּרֵעַ אֶת־דְּבַר הַמַּלְכוּת׃ יד Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:14 The sower sows the word.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:15---- (Hebrew) וַאֲשֶׁר עַל־יַד הַדֶּרֶךְ הֵם אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר יְקַבְּלוּ אֶת־הַזֶּרַע בְּשָׁמְעָם אֶת־אֲשֶׁר נֶאֱמַר לָהֶם אַךְ הַשָּׂטָן יָחִישׁ לָבוֹא וְנָשָׂא אֶת־הַזֶּרַע הַזָּרוּעַ בָּם׃ טו Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:15 These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:16---- (Hebrew) וְכֵן הַזֶּרַע הַזָּרוּעַ עַל־חֶלְקַת סֶלַע הֵם אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר יְמַהֲרוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ אֶת־דְּבַר הַמַּלְכוּת בְּשִׂמְחָה׃ טז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:16 In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:17---- (Hebrew) אֶפֶס כִּי־אֵין לָהֶם שֹׁרֶשׁ בְּנַפְשָׁם וְרַק כִּמְעַט רֶגַע יַעֲמֹדוּ וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן כִּי תִקְרֶה כָל־צָרָה וְרָדְפוּ אֹתָם עַל־דְּבַר אֱמוּנָתָם יִכָּשְׁלוּ כְּרָגַע׃ יז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:17 and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:18---- (Hebrew) וְהַזֶּרַע הַזָּרוּעַ אֶל־הַקֹּצִים הֵם אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁמְעוּ דְּבַר־הַמַּלְכוּת׃ יח Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:18 And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:19---- (Hebrew) וְדַאֲגוֹת הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה וְנִכְלֵי הָעשֶׁר וַחֲפָצִים אֲחֵרִים בָּאִים וּמְבַלְּעִים אֶת־הַדָּבָר וְלֹא יַעֲשֶׂה־צֶּמַח׃ יט Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:19 but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:20---- (Hebrew) וְהַזֶּרַע הַזָּרוּעַ בַּחֶלְקָה הַטּוֹבָה הֵם הַשֹּׁמְעִים אֶת־הַדָּבָר וְיִצְפְּנֻהוּ עַד אֲשֶׁר־יָנוּב תְּנוּבָה שְׁלֹשִׁים שְׁעָרִים וְשִׁשִּׁים שְׁעָרִים וּמֵאָה שְׁעָרִים׃ כ Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:20 And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:21---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם הֲיוּבָא הַנֵּר לְשׂוּמוֹ תַּחַת הָאֵיפָה אוֹ תַּחַת הַמִּטָּה וְלֹא לְהַעֲלֹתוֹ אֶל־הַמְּנוֹרָה׃ כא Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:21 And He was saying to them, "A lamp is not brought to be put under a basket, is it, or under a bed? Is it not brought to be put on the lampstand?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:22---- (Hebrew) כִּי אֵין־דָּבָר נֶעְלָם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יִגָּלֶה וְאֵין נִסְתָּר אֲשֶׁר־לֹא יֵצֵא לָאוֹר׃ כב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:22 For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:23---- (Hebrew) מִי אֲשֶׁר אָזְנַיִם לוֹ לִשְׁמֹעַ יִשְׁמָע׃ כג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:24---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם שִׂימוּ לִבְּכֶם לַאֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם שֹׁמְעִים בַּמִּדָּה אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם תָּמֹדּוּ בָּהּ יִמַּד לָכֶם גַּם־אַתֶּם וְעוֹד יֻתַּן לָכֶם נוֹסָפוֹת׃ כד Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:24 And He was saying to them," Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:25---- (Hebrew) כִּי מִי אֲשֶׁר יֶשׁ־לוֹ יֻתַּן לוֹ עוֹד וּמִי אֲשֶׁר אֵין־לוֹ יֻקַּח מִמֶּנּוּ גַּם אֲשֶׁר יֶשׁ־לוֹ׃ כה Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:25 For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:26---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר עוֹד נִמְשָׁלָה מַלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים כָּאִישׁ הַשָּׁת זֶרַע בָּאָרֶץ׃ כו Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:26 And He was saying, "The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:27---- (Hebrew) וְהָלַךְ־לוֹ לִישׁוֹן וְקָם לַיְלָה וָיוֹם וְהַזֶּרַע יִצְמַח וְיִגְדָּל אַךְ אֵיכָה נֶעֶשְׂתָה כָזֹאת הוּא לֹא יֵדָע׃ כז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:27 and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows--how, he himself does not know.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 4:28---- (Hebrew) כִּי הָאָרֶץ תּוֹצִיא צִמְחָהּ מֵאֵלֶיהָ אֶת־הַקָּנֶה רִאשֹׁנָה אַחֲרֵי־כֵן אֶת־הַשִּׁבֹּלֶת וַאַחֲרֵי־כֵן אֶת־הַחִטָּה בַּשִּׁבֹּלֶת הַמְּלֵאָה׃ כח Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 4:28 The soil produces crops by itself;
