beloved children;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:2---- (Hebrew) וּבְאַהְבָה תָּכִינוּ צְעָדֵיכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר גַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ אָהַב אֹתָנוּ וַיִּתֵּן אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ תַּחַת נַפְשֵׁנוּ לְקָרְבָּן וָזֶבַח לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לֵאלֹהִים׃ ב Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:3---- (Hebrew) אַךְ זְנוּת וְכָל־זִמָּה וּבֶצַע לֹא יִשָּׁמַע עַל־פִּיכֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר נָכוֹן לְאַנְשֵׁי קֹדֶשׁ׃ ג Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:3 But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:4---- (Hebrew) וְכֵן לֹא דִבְרֵי נְבָלָה וְלֹא הוֹלֵלוֹת וְתָהֳלָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא לְתִפְאֶרֶת לָכֶם כִּי אִם־אִמְרֵי תְהִלָּה׃ ד Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:4 and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:5---- (Hebrew) כִּי־זֹאת יָדֹע תֵּדְעוּ כִּי כָּל־אִישׁ זֹנֶה וְטַמֵא אוֹ אֹהֵב בֶּצַע מַעֲשַׁקּוֹת אֲשֶׁר הוּא כְּעֹבֵד אֱלִילִים אֵין לָהֶם נַחֲלָה בְּמַלְכוּת מְשִׁיחֵנוּ וֵאלֹהֵינוּ׃ ה Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:13---- (Hebrew) אַךְ כַּאֲשֶׁר יִוָּכְחוּ אָז יִגָּלוּ לָאוֹר מָה הֵם לָאוֹר הַמְגַלֶּה אֹתָם׃ יג Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:14---- (Hebrew) וְעַל־זֶה נֶאֱמַר קוּם לְךָ נִרְדָּם הָקִיצָה מִן־הַמֵּתִים וְהַמָּשִׁיחַ יִזְרַח עָלֶיךָ׃ יד Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:14 For this reason it says, "Awake, sleeper, And arise וְעַל־הַכֹּל הוֹדוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ אָבִינוּ תָּמִיד בְּשֵׁם יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲדֹנֵינוּ׃ כ Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:27---- (Hebrew) לְהָקִים לוֹ עֵדָה נִכְבָּדָה בָּרָה וּתְמִימָה מִבְּלִי בַהֶרֶת אוֹ פְּחֶתֶת וְכָל־מוּם אֵין בָּהּ׃ כז Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 5:28---- (Hebrew) כֵּן הַמִּצְוָה עַל־הָאֲנָשִׁי לְאַהֲבָה אֶת־נְשֵׁיהֶם כְּגוּפָם כִּי הָאֹהֵב אֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ הוּא אֹהֵב אֶת־עַצְמוֹ וְאֶת־בְּשָׂרוֹ׃ כח Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 5:28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies.
