וְאֶת־אִמֶּךָ זֹאת הַמִּצְוָה הָרִאשֹׁנָה אֲשֶׁר שְׂכָרָהּ בְּצִדָּהּ׃ ב Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:2 HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise),(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 6:3---- (Hebrew) לְמַעַן יִיטַב לָךְ וּלְמַעַן יַאֲרִיכוּן יָמֶיךָ עַל־הָאֲדָמָה׃ ג Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:3 SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE וְאַתֶּם עֲבָדִים הַקְשִׁיבוּ לְקוֹל אֲדֹנֵיכֶם אֲדֹנֵי גְוִיַּתְכֶם בְּיִרְאָה וּרְעָדָה וּבְתָם־לֵב כְּמוֹ לַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ ה Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:5 Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ephesians 6:6---- (Hebrew) וְלֹא בַעֲבֹדָה לְמַרְאֵה עֵינַיִם לְהָפִיק רָצוֹן מִבְּנֵי אָדָם כִּי אִם־כְּעַבְדֵי הַמָּשִׁיחַ הָעֹשִׂים רְצוֹן אֱלֹהִים בְּכָל־נַפְשָׁם׃ ו Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:6 not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.(NASB-1995) יְשַׁלֶּם־לוֹ אִם־עֶבֶד הוּא אוֹ בֶן־חוֹרִים׃ ח Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:8 knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this אֲדֹנִים כֵּן תַּעֲשׂוּ לָהֶם חִדְלוּ מִגְּעָר־בָּם בַּאֲשֶׁר יְדַעְתֶּם כִּי גַם־לָהֶם וְלָכֶם אָדוֹן בַּשָּׁמַיִם אֲשֶׁר אֵין עִמּוֹ מַשּׂוֹא פָנִים׃ ט Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:9 And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is הִנְנִי אֹמֵר הִתְעוֹדְדוּ בַאֲדֹנֵינוּ וּבְעֹז גְּבוּרָתוֹ׃ י Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in לָקוּם לִפְנֵי נִכְלֵי הַשָּׂטָן׃ יא Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the 6:13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.(NASB-1995) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:21 But that you also may know about my circumstances, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful הַזֶּה שְׁלַחְתִּיו אֲלֵיכֶם לְהוֹדִיעֲכֶם מַה מַּעֲשֵׂינוּ וּלְנַחֵם אֶת־לִבְּכֶם׃ כב Ephesians -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph 6:22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know about us, and that he may comfort your hearts.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ----
