エステル 記 8:1 その日アハシュエロス王は、ユダヤ人の敵ハマンの家を王妃エステルに与えた。モルデカイは王の前にきた。これはエステルが自分とモルデカイがどんな関係の者であるかを告げたからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:1 On that day King Ahasuerus gave the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews, to Queen Esther; and Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had disclosed what he was to her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:2---- エステル 記 8:2 王はハマンから取り返した自分の指輪をはずして、モルデカイに与えた。エステルはモルデカイにハマンの家を管理させた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:2 The king took off his signet ring which he had taken away from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. So Esther arose and stood before the king.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:5---- エステル 記 8:5 そして言った、「もし王がよしとされ、わたしが王の前に恵みを得、またこの事が王の前に正しいと見え、かつわたしが王の目にかなうならば、アガグびとハンメダタの子ハマンが王の諸州にいるユダヤ人を滅ぼそうとはかって書き送った書を取り消す旨を書かせてください。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:5 Then she said, "If it pleases the king and if I have found favor before him and the matter seems proper to the king and I am pleasing in his sight, let it be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews who are in all the king's provinces.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:6---- エステル 記 8:6 どうしてわたしは、わたしの民に臨もうとする災を、だまって見ていることができましょうか。どうしてわたしの同族の滅びるのを、だまって見ていることができましょうか」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:6 For how can I endure to see the calamity which will befall my people, and how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:7---- エステル 記 8:7 アハシュエロス王は王妃エステルとユダヤ人モルデカイに言った、「ハマンがユダヤ人を殺そうとしたので、わたしはハマンの家をエステルに与え、またハマンを木に掛けさせた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:7 So King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, "Behold, I have given the house of Haman to Esther, and him they have hanged on the gallows because he had stretched out his hands against the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:8---- エステル 記 8:8 あなたがたは自分たちの思うままに王の名をもってユダヤ人についての書をつくり、王の指輪をもってそれに印を押すがよい。王の名をもって書き、王の指輪をもって印を押した書はだれも取り消すことができない」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:8 Now you write to the Jews as you see fit, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's signet ring; for a decree which is written in the name of the king and sealed with the king's signet ring may not be revoked."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:9---- エステル 記 8:9 その時王の書記官が召し集められた。それは三月すなわちシワンの月の二十三日であった。そしてインドからエチオピヤまでの百二十七州にいる総督、諸州の知事および大臣たちに、モルデカイがユダヤ人について命じたとおりに書き送った。すなわち各州にはその文字を用い、各民族にはその言語を用いて書き送り、ユダヤ人に送るものにはその文字と言語とを用いた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:9 So the king's scribes were called at that time in the third month (that is, the month Sivan), on the twenty-third day; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded to the Jews, the satraps, the governors and the princes of the provinces which extended from India to Ethiopia, 127 provinces, to every province according to its script, and to every people according to their language as well as to the Jews according to their script and their language.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:10---- エステル 記 8:10 その書はアハシュエロス王の名をもって書かれ、王の指輪をもって印を押し、王の御用馬として、そのうまやに育った早馬に乗る急使によって送られた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:10 He wrote in the name of King Ahasuerus, and sealed it with the king's signet ring, and sent letters by couriers on horses, riding on steeds sired by the royal stud.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:11---- エステル 記 8:11 その中で、王はすべての町にいるユダヤ人に、彼らが相集まって自分たちの生命を保護し、自分たちを襲おうとする諸国、諸州のすべての武装した民を、その妻子もろともに滅ぼし、殺し、絶やし、かつその貨財を奪い取ることを許した。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:11 In them the king granted the Jews who were in each and every city the right to assemble and to defend their lives, to destroy, to kill and to annihilate the entire army of any people or province which might attack them, including children and women, and to plunder their spoil,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:12---- エステル 記 8:12 ただしこの事をアハシュエロス王の諸州において、十二月すなわちアダルの月の十三日に、一日のうちに行うことを命じた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:12 on one day in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month (that is, the month Adar).(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:13---- エステル 記 8:13 この書いた物の写しを詔として各州に伝え、すべての民に公示して、ユダヤ人に、その日のために備えして、その敵にあだをかえさせようとした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:13 A copy of the edict to be issued as law in each and every province was published to all the peoples, so that the Jews would be ready for this day to avenge themselves on their enemies.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 8:14---- エステル 記 8:14 王の御用馬である早馬に乗った急使は、王の命によって急がされ、せきたてられて出て行った。この詔は首都スサで出された。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 8:14 The couriers, hastened and impelled by the king's command, went out, riding on the royal steeds;
