使徒の働き 25:1 さて、フェストは、任地に着いてから三日の後、カイザリヤからエルサレムに上ったところ、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:1 Festus then, having arrived in the province, three days later went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:2---- 使徒の働き 25:2 祭司長たちやユダヤ人の重立った者たちが、パウロを訴え出て、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:2 And the chief priests and the leading men of the Jews brought charges against Paul, and they were urging him,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:3---- 使徒の働き 25:3 彼をエルサレムに呼び出すよう取り計らっていただきたいと、しきりに願った。彼らは途中で待ち伏せして、彼を殺す考えであった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:3 requesting a concession against Paul, that he might have him brought to Jerusalem (at the same time, setting an ambush to kill him on the way).(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:4---- 使徒の働き 25:4 ところがフェストは、パウロがカイザリヤに監禁してあり、自分もすぐそこへ帰ることになっていると答え、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:4 Festus then answered that Paul was being kept in custody at Caesarea and that he himself was about to leave shortly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:5---- 使徒の働き 25:5 そして言った、「では、もしあの男に何か不都合なことがあるなら、おまえたちのうちの有力者らが、わたしと一緒に下って行って、訴えるがよかろう」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:5 "Therefore," he said, "let the influential men among you go there with me, and if there is anything wrong about the man, let them prosecute him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:6---- 使徒の働き 25:6 フェストは、彼らのあいだに八日か十日ほど滞在した後、カイザリヤに下って行き、その翌日、裁判の席について、パウロを引き出すように命じた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:6 After he had spent not more than eight or ten days among them, he went down to Caesarea, and on the next day he took his seat on the tribunal and ordered Paul to be brought.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:7---- 使徒の働き 25:7 パウロが姿をあらわすと、エルサレムから下ってきたユダヤ人たちが、彼を取りかこみ、彼に対してさまざまの重い罪状を申し立てたが、いずれもその証拠をあげることはできなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:7 After Paul arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, bringing many and serious charges against him which they could not prove,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:8---- 使徒の働き 25:8 パウロは「わたしは、ユダヤ人の律法に対しても、宮に対しても、またカイザルに対しても、なんら罪を犯したことはない」と弁明した。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:8 while Paul said in his own defense, "I have committed no offense either against the Law of the Jews or against the temple or against Caesar."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:9---- 使徒の働き 25:9 ところが、フェストはユダヤ人の歓心を買おうと思って、パウロにむかって言った、「おまえはエルサレムに上り、この事件に関し、わたしからそこで裁判を受けることを承知するか」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:9 But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me on these charges?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:10---- 使徒の働き 25:10 パウロは言った、「わたしは今、カイザルの法廷に立っています。わたしはこの法廷で裁判されるべきです。よくご承知のとおり、わたしはユダヤ人たちに、何も悪いことをしてはいません。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:10 But Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:11---- 使徒の働き 25:11 もしわたしが悪いことをし、死に当るようなことをしているのなら、死を免れようとはしません。しかし、もし彼らの訴えることに、なんの根拠もないとすれば、だれもわたしを彼らに引き渡す権利はありません。わたしはカイザルに上訴します」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:11 "If, then, I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die; but if none of those things is true of which these men accuse me, no one can hand me over to them. "Tomorrow," he said,"you shall hear him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:23---- 使徒の働き 25:23 翌日、アグリッパとベルニケとは、大いに威儀をととのえて、千卒長たちや市の重立った人たちと共に、引見所にはいってきた。すると、フェストの命によって、パウロがそこに引き出された。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:23 So, on the next day when Agrippa came together with Bernice amid great pomp, and entered the auditorium accompanied by the commanders and the prominent men of the city, at the command of Festus, Paul was brought in.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:24---- 使徒の働き 25:24 そこで、フェストが言った、「アグリッパ王、ならびにご臨席の諸君。ごらんになっているこの人物は、ユダヤ人たちがこぞって、エルサレムにおいても、また、この地においても、これ以上、生かしておくべきでないと叫んで、わたしに訴え出ている者である。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:24 Festus said, "King Agrippa, and all you gentlemen here present with us, you see this man about whom all the people of the Jews appealed to me, both at Jerusalem and here, loudly declaring that he ought not to live any longer.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:25---- 使徒の働き 25:25 しかし、彼は死に当ることは何もしていないと、わたしは見ているのだが、彼自身が皇帝に上訴すると言い出したので、彼をそちらへ送ることに決めた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:25 "But I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death; and since he himself appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Acts 25:26---- 使徒の働き 25:26 ところが、彼について、主君に書きおくる確かなものが何もないので、わたしは、彼を諸君の前に、特に、アグリッパ王よ、あなたの前に引き出して、取調べをしたのち、上書すべき材料を得ようと思う。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act 25:26 "Yet I have nothing definite about him to write to my lord.
