================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:1 ---- written 1450-1410 B.C.---- Gen 29:1 Kemudian berangkatlah Yakub dari situ dan pergi ke negeri Bani Timur.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:1 Then Jacob went on his journey, and came to the land of the sons of the east.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:2---- Gen 29:2 Ketika ia memandang sekelilingnya, dilihatnya ada sebuah sumur di padang, dan ada tiga kumpulan kambing domba berbaring di dekatnya, sebab dari sumur itulah orang memberi minum kumpulan-kumpulan kambing domba itu. Adapun batu penutup sumur itu besar;(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:2 He looked, and saw a well in the field, and behold, three flocks of sheep were lying there beside it, for from that well they watered the flocks. Now the stone on the mouth of the well was large.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:3---- Gen 29:3 dan apabila segala kumpulan kambing domba itu digiring berkumpul ke sana, maka gembala-gembala menggulingkan batu itu dari mulut sumur, lalu kambing domba itu diberi minum; kemudian dikembalikanlah batu itu lagi ke mulut sumur itu.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:3 When all the flocks were gathered there, they would then roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place on the mouth of the well.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:4---- Gen 29:4 Bertanyalah Yakub kepada mereka: "Saudara-saudara, dari manakah kamu ini?" Jawab mereka: "Kami ini dari Haran."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:4 Jacob said to them, "My brothers, where are you from?" Jawab mereka: "Selamat! Tetapi lihat, itu datang anaknya perempuan, Rahel, dengan kambing dombanya."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:6 And he said to them, "Is it well with him?" And they said, "It is well, and here is Rachel his daughter coming with the sheep."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:7---- Gen 29:7 Lalu kata Yakub: "Hari masih siang, belum waktunya untuk mengumpulkan ternak; berilah minum kambing dombamu itu, kemudian pergilah menggembalakannya lagi."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:7 He said, "Behold, it is still high day; it is not time for the livestock to be gathered. Water the sheep, and go, pasture them."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:8---- Gen 29:8 Tetapi jawab mereka: "Kami tidak dapat melakukan itu selama segala kumpulan binatang itu belum berkumpul; barulah batu itu digulingkan dari mulut sumur dan kami memberi minum kambing domba kami."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:8 But they said, "We cannot, until all the flocks are gathered, and they roll the stone from the mouth of the well; then we water the sheep."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:9---- Gen 29:9 Selagi ia berkata-kata dengan mereka, datanglah Rahel dengan kambing domba ayahnya, sebab dialah yang menggembalakannya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:9 While he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father's sheep, for she was a shepherdess.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:10---- Gen 29:10 Ketika Yakub melihat Rahel, anak Laban saudara ibunya, serta kambing domba Laban, ia datang mendekat, lalu menggulingkan batu itu dari mulut sumur, dan memberi minum kambing domba itu.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:10 When Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, Jacob went up and rolled the stone from the mouth of the well and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:11---- Gen 29:11 Kemudian Yakub mencium Rahel serta menangis dengan suara keras.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:11 Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted his voice and wept.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:12---- Gen 29:12 Lalu Yakub menceritakan kepada Rahel, bahwa ia sanak saudara ayah Rahel, dan anak Ribka. Maka berlarilah Rahel menceritakannya kepada ayahnya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:12 Jacob told Rachel that he was a relative of her father and that he was Rebekah's son, and she ran and told her father.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:13---- Gen 29:13 Segera sesudah Laban mendengar kabar tentang Yakub, anak saudaranya itu, berlarilah ia menyongsong dia, lalu mendekap dan mencium dia, kemudian membawanya ke rumahnya. Maka Yakub menceritakan segala hal ihwalnya kepada Laban.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:13 So when Laban heard the news of Jacob his sister's son, he ran to meet him, and embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his house. Then he related to Laban all these things.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:14---- Gen 29:14 Kata Laban kepadanya: "Sesungguhnya engkau sedarah sedaging dengan aku." Maka tinggallah Yakub padanya genap sebulan lamanya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:14 Laban said to him, "Surely you are my bone and my flesh." And he stayed with him a month.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:15---- Gen 29:15 Kemudian berkatalah Laban kepada Yakub: "Masakan karena engkau adalah sanak saudaraku, engkau bekerja padaku dengan cuma-cuma? Katakanlah kepadaku apa yang patut menjadi upahmu."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:15 Then Laban said to Jacob, "Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:16---- Gen 29:16 Laban mempunyai dua anak perempuan; yang lebih tua namanya Lea dan yang lebih muda namanya Rahel.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:16 Now Laban had two daughters; the name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:17---- Gen 29:17 Lea tidak berseri matanya, tetapi Rahel itu elok sikapnya dan cantik parasnya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:17 And Leah's eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful of form and face.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:18---- Gen 29:18 Yakub cinta kepada Rahel, sebab itu ia berkata: "Aku mau bekerja padamu tujuh tahun lamanya untuk mendapat Rahel, anakmu yang lebih muda itu."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:18 Now Jacob loved Rachel, so he said, "I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:19---- Gen 29:19 Sahut Laban: "Lebih baiklah ia kuberikan kepadamu dari pada kepada orang lain; maka tinggallah padaku."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:19 Laban said, "It is better that I give her to you than to give her to another man; stay with me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:20---- Gen 29:20 Jadi bekerjalah Yakub tujuh tahun lamanya untuk mendapat Rahel itu, tetapi yang tujuh tahun itu dianggapnya seperti beberapa hari saja, karena cintanya kepada Rahel.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel and they seemed to him but a few days because of his love for her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:21---- Gen 29:21 Sesudah itu berkatalah Yakub kepada Laban: "Berikanlah kepadaku bakal isteriku itu, sebab jangka waktuku telah genap, supaya aku akan kawin dengan dia."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:21 Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife, for my time is completed, that I may go in to her."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:22---- Gen 29:22 Lalu Laban mengundang semua orang di tempat itu, dan mengadakan perjamuan.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:22 Laban gathered all the men of the place and made a feast.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:23---- Gen 29:23 Tetapi pada waktu malam diambilnyalah Lea, anaknya, lalu dibawanya kepada Yakub. Maka Yakubpun menghampiri dia.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:23 Now in the evening he took his daughter Leah, and brought her to him; and Jacob went in to her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:24---- Gen 29:24 Lagipula Laban memberikan Zilpa, budaknya perempuan, kepada Lea, anaknya itu, menjadi budaknya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:24 Laban also gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:25---- Gen 29:25 Tetapi pada waktu pagi tampaklah bahwa itu Lea! Lalu berkatalah Yakub kepada Laban: "Apakah yang kauperbuat terhadap aku ini? Bukankah untuk mendapat Rahel aku bekerja padamu? Mengapa engkau menipu aku?"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:25 So it came about in the morning that, behold, it was Leah! And he said to Laban, "What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served with you? Why then have you deceived me?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:26---- Gen 29:26 Jawab Laban: "Tidak biasa orang berbuat demikian di tempat kami ini, mengawinkan adiknya lebih dahulu dari pada kakaknya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:26 But Laban said, "It is not the practice in our place to marry off the younger before the firstborn.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:27---- Gen 29:27 Gen pilah dahulu tujuh hari perkawinanmu dengan anakku ini; kemudian anakku yang lainpun akan diberikan kepadamu sebagai upah, asal engkau bekerja pula padaku tujuh tahun lagi."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:27 Complete the week of this one, and we will give you the other also for the service which you shall serve with me for another seven years."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:28---- Gen 29:28 Maka Yakub berbuat demikian; ia menggenapi ketujuh hari perkawinannya dengan Lea, kemudian Laban memberikan kepadanya Rahel, anaknya itu, menjadi isterinya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:28 Jacob did so and completed her week, and he gave him his daughter Rachel as his wife.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:29---- Gen 29:29 Lagipula Laban memberikan Bilha, budaknya perempuan, kepada Rahel, anaknya itu, menjadi budaknya.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:29 Laban also gave his maid Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as her maid.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:30---- Gen 29:30 Yakub menghampiri Rahel juga, malah ia lebih cinta kepada Rahel dari pada kepada Lea. Demikianlah ia bekerja pula pada Laban tujuh tahun lagi.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:30 So Jacob went in to Rachel also, and indeed he loved Rachel more than Leah, and he served with Laban for another seven years.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:31---- Gen 29:31 Ketika TUHAN melihat, bahwa Lea tidak dicintai, dibuka-Nyalah kandungannya, tetapi Rahel mandul.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:31 Now the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, and He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:32---- Gen 29:32 Lea mengandung, lalu melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan menamainya Ruben, sebab katanya: "Sesungguhnya TUHAN telah memperhatikan kesengsaraanku; sekarang tentulah aku akan dicintai oleh suamiku."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:32 Leah conceived and bore a son and named him Reuben, for she said, "Because the Lord has seen my affliction; surely now my husband will love me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:33---- Gen 29:33 Mengandung pulalah ia, lalu melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, maka ia berkata: "Sesungguhnya, TUHAN telah mendengar, bahwa aku tidak dicintai, lalu diberikan-Nya pula anak ini kepadaku." Maka ia menamai anak itu Simeon.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:33 Then she conceived again and bore a son and said, "Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also." So she named him Simeon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:34---- Gen 29:34 Mengandung pulalah ia, lalu melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, maka ia berkata: "Sekali ini suamiku akan lebih erat kepadaku, karena aku telah melahirkan tiga anak laki-laki baginya." Itulah sebabnya ia menamai anak itu Lewi.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:34 She conceived again and bore a son and said, "Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons." Therefore he was named Levi.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Genesis 29:35---- Gen 29:35 Mengandung pulalah ia, lalu melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, maka ia berkata: "Sekali ini aku akan bersyukur kepada TUHAN." Itulah sebabnya ia menamai anak itu Yehuda. Sesudah itu ia tidak melahirkan lagi.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gen 29:35 And she conceived again and bore a son and said, "This time I will praise the Lord." Therefore she named him Judah.
