Jueces 14:1 Y descendiendo Sansón a Timnat, vio en Timnat a una mujer de las hijas de los filisteos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:1 Then Samson went down to Timnah and saw a woman in Timnah, one of the daughters of the Philistines.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:2---- Jueces 14:2 Y subió, y lo declaró a su padre y a su madre, diciendo: Yo he visto en Timnat a una mujer de las hijas de los filisteos; os ruego que me la toméis por esposa.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:2 So he came back and told his father and mother, "I saw a woman in Timnah, one of the daughters of the Philistines; now therefore, get her for me as a wife."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:3---- Jueces 14:3 Y su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay mujer entre las hijas de tus hermanos, ni en todo mi pueblo, para que vayas tú a tomar esposa de los filisteos incircuncisos? Y Sansón respondió a su padre: Tómala para mí, porque ésta agradó a mis ojos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:3 Then his father and his mother said to him, "Is there no woman among the daughters of your relatives, or among all our people, that you go to take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?" But Samson said to his father, "Get her for me, for she looks good to me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:4---- Jueces 14:4 Mas su padre y su madre no sabían que esto [venía] de Jehová, y que él buscaba ocasión contra los filisteos; porque en aquel tiempo los filisteos dominaban sobre Israel.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:4 However, his father and mother did not know that it was of the Lord, for He was seeking an occasion against the Philistines. When he came to his father and mother, he gave some to them and they ate it; but he did not tell them that he had scraped the honey out of the body of the lion.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:10---- Jueces 14:10 Vino, pues, su padre a la mujer, y Sansón hizo allí banquete; porque así solían hacer los jóvenes.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:10 Then his father went down to the woman; and Samson made a feast there, for the young men customarily did this.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:11---- Jueces 14:11 Y aconteció que cuando ellos le vieron, tomaron treinta compañeros que estuviesen con él;(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:11 When they saw him, they brought thirty companions to be with him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:12---- Jueces 14:12 A los cuales Sansón dijo: Yo os propondré ahora un enigma, el cual si en los siete días del banquete vosotros me declarareis y descubriereis, yo os daré treinta sábanas y treinta mudas de ropa.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:12 Then Samson said to them, "Let me now propound a riddle to you; if you will indeed tell it to me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen wraps and thirty changes of clothes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:13---- Jueces 14:13 Mas si no me lo supiereis declarar, vosotros me daréis las treinta sábanas y las treinta mudas de ropa. Y ellos respondieron: Exponnos tu enigma, y la oiremos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:13 But if you are unable to tell me, then you shall give me thirty linen wraps and thirty changes of clothes." Y ellos no pudieron declararle el enigma en tres días.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:14 So he said to them, "Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet." But they could not tell the riddle in three days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:15---- Jueces 14:15 Y aconteció que en el séptimo día, dijeron a la esposa de Sansón: Induce a tu marido a que nos declare este enigma, para que no te quememos a ti y a la casa de tu padre. ¿Nos habéis llamado aquí para despojarnos? ¿No [es así]?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:15 Then it came about on the fourth day that they said to Samson's wife, "Entice your husband, so that he will tell us the riddle, or we will burn you and your father's house with fire. Have you invited us to impoverish us? Is this not so?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:16---- Jueces 14:16 Y la esposa de Sansón lloró delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste a los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni a mi padre ni a mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿lo había de declarar a ti?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:16 Samson's wife wept before him and said, "You only hate me, and you do not love me; you have propounded a riddle to the sons of my people, and have not told it to me." And he said to her, "Behold, I have not told it to my father or mother; so should I tell you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:17---- Jueces 14:17 Y ella lloró delante de él los siete días que ellos tuvieron banquete; y sucedió que el séptimo día él se lo declaró, porque ella lo presionaba; y ella declaró el enigma a los hijos de su pueblo.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:17 However she wept before him seven days while their feast lasted. And on the seventh day he told her because she pressed him so hard. She then told the riddle to the sons of her people.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:18---- Jueces 14:18 Y al séptimo día, antes que el sol se pusiese, los de la ciudad le dijeron: ¿Qué cosa más dulce que la miel? ¿Y qué cosa más fuerte que el león? Y él les respondió: Si no araseis con mi novilla, nunca hubierais descubierto mi enigma.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:18 So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down," What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?" And he said to them, "If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have found out my riddle."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 14:19---- Jueces 14:19 Y el Espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y descendió a Ascalón, e hirió treinta hombres de ellos; y tomando el despojo, dio las mudas de ropa a los que habían explicado el enigma; y encendido en enojo se fue a casa de su padre.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 14:19 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of them and took their spoil and gave the changes of clothes to those who told the riddle.
