And you are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? Let them all assemble themselves, let them stand up, let them tremble, let them together be put to shame.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 44:12---- Isaías 44:12 El herrero toma la tenaza, trabaja en las brasas, le da forma con los martillos, y trabaja en ella con la fuerza de su brazo; luego tiene hambre, y le faltan las fuerzas; no bebe agua, y desfallece.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 44:12 The man shapes iron into a cutting tool and does his work over the coals, fashioning it with hammers and working it with his strong arm. He also gets hungry and his strength fails; he drinks no water and becomes weary.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 44:13---- Isaías 44:13 El carpintero tiende la regla, lo señala con almagre, lo labra con los cepillos, le da figura con el compás, lo hace en forma de varón, a semejanza de hombre hermoso, para tenerlo en la casa.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 44:13 Another shapes wood, he extends a measuring line; he outlines it with red chalk. He works it with planes and outlines it with a compass, and makes it like the form of a man, like the beauty of man, so that it may sit in a house.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 44:14---- Isaías 44:14 Corta cedros para sí, y toma ciprés y encina, que crecen entre los árboles del bosque; planta pino, que se críe con la lluvia.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 44:14 Surely he cuts cedars for himself, and takes a cypress or an oak and raises it for himself among the trees of the forest. He plants a fir, and the rain makes it grow.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 44:15---- Isaías 44:15 De él se sirve luego el hombre para quemar, y toma de ellos para calentarse; enciende también el horno, y cuece panes; hace además un dios, y lo adora; fabrica un ídolo, y se arrodilla delante de él.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 44:15 Then it becomes something for a man to burn, so he takes one of them and warms himself; he also makes a fire to bake bread. He also makes a god and worships it; he makes it a graven image and falls down before it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 44:16---- Isaías 44:16 Parte del leño quema en el fuego; con parte de él come carne, adereza asado, y se sacia; después se calienta, y dice: ¡Ah! Me he calentado, he visto el fuego;(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 44:16 Half of it he burns in the fire; over this half he eats meat as he roasts a roast and is satisfied. He also warms himself and says, "Aha!
