and he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:6---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:6 وكانا كلاهما بارين امام الله سالكين في جميع وصايا الرب واحكامه بلا لوم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:6 They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:7---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:7 ولم يكن لهما ولد اذ كانت اليصابات عاقرا وكانا كلاهما متقدمين في أيامهما -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:8---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:8 فبينما هو يكهن في نوبة فرقته امام الله -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:8 Now it happened that while he was performing his priestly service before God in the appointed order of his division,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:9---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:9 حسب عادة الكهنوت اصابته القرعة ان يدخل الى هيكل الرب ويبخر. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:9 according to the custom of the priestly office, he was chosen by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:10---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:10 وكان كل جمهور الشعب يصلّون خارجا وقت البخور. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:10 And the whole multitude of the people were in prayer outside at the hour of the incense offering.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:11---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:11 فظهر له ملاك الرب واقفا عن يمين مذبح البخور. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:11 And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the altar of incense.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:12---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:12 فلما رآه زكريا اضطرب ووقع عليه خوف. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:12 Zacharias was troubled when he saw the angel, and fear gripped him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:13---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:13 فقال له الملاك لا تخف يا زكريا لان طلبتك قد سمعت وامرأتك اليصابات ستلد لك ابنا وتسميه يوحنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:13 But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your petition has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will give him the name John.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:14---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:14 ويكون لك فرح وابتهاج وكثيرون سيفرحون بولادته. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:14 You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:15---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:15 لانه يكون عظيما امام الرب وخمرا ومسكرا لا يشرب. ومن بطن امه يمتلئ من الروح القدس. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:16---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:16 ويرد كثيرين من بني اسرائيل الى الرب الههم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:16 And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:17---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:17 ويتقدم امامه بروح ايليا وقوته ليرد قلوب الآباء الى الابناء والعصاة الى فكر الابرار لكي يهيئ للرب شعبا مستعدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:17 It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS BACK TO THE CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:18---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:18 فقال زكريا للملاك كيف اعلم هذا لاني انا شيخ وامرأتي متقدمة في ايامها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:18 Zacharias said to the angel, "How will I know this for certain? For I am an old man and my wife is advanced in years."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:19---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:19 فاجاب الملاك وقال له انا جبرائيل الواقف قدام الله وأرسلت لاكلمك وابشرك بهذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:19 The angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:20---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:20 وها انت تكون صامتا ولا تقدر ان تتكلم الى اليوم الذي يكون فيه هذا لانك لم تصدق كلامي الذي سيتم في وقته. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:20 And behold, you shall be silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their proper time."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:21---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:21 وكان الشعب منتظرين زكريا ومتعجبين من ابطائه في الهيكل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:21 The people were waiting for Zacharias, and were wondering at his delay in the temple.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:22---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:22 فلما خرج لم يستطع ان يكلمهم ففهموا انه قد رأى رؤيا في الهيكل. فكان يومئ اليهم وبقي صامتا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:22 But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them; and they realized that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he kept making signs to them, and remained mute.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:23---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:23 ولما كملت ايام خدمته مضى الى بيته. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:23 When the days of his priestly service were ended, he went back home.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:24---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:24 وبعد تلك الايام حبلت اليصابات امرأته واخفت نفسها خمسة اشهر قائلة -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:24 After these days Elizabeth his wife became pregnant, and she kept herself in seclusion for five months, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:25---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:25 هكذا قد فعل بي الرب في الايام التي فيها نظر اليّ لينزع عاري بين الناس -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:25 "This is the way the Lord has dealt with me in the days when He looked with favor upon me, to take away my disgrace among men."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:26---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:26 وفي الشهر السادس أرسل جبرائيل الملاك من الله الى مدينة من الجليل اسمها ناصرة -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:27---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:27 الى عذراء مخطوبة لرجل من بيت داود اسمه يوسف. واسم العذراء مريم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:28---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:28 فدخل اليها الملاك وقال سلام لك ايتها المنعم عليها. الرب معك مباركة انت في النساء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:28 And coming in, he said to her, "Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:29---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:29 فلما رأته اضطربت من كلامه وفكرت ما عسى ان تكون هذه التحية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:29 But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:30---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:30 فقال لها الملاك لا تخافي يا مريم لانك قد وجدت نعمة عند الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:30 The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:31---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:31 وها انت ستحبلين وتلدين ابنا وتسمينه يسوع. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:32---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:32 هذا يكون عظيما وابن العلي يدعى ويعطيه الرب الاله كرسي داود ابيه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:33---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:33 ويملك على بيت يعقوب الى الابد ولا يكون لملكه نهاية -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:34---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:34 فقالت مريم للملاك كيف يكون هذا وانا لست اعرف رجلا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:34 Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I am a virgin?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:35---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:35 فاجاب الملاك وقال لها. الروح القدس يحل عليك وقوة العلي تظللك فلذلك ايضا القدوس المولود منك يدعى ابن الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:35 The angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:36---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:36 وهوذا اليصابات نسيبتك هي ايضا حبلى بابن في شيخوختها وهذا هو الشهر السادس لتلك المدعوة عاقرا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:36 And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:37---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:37 لانه ليس شيء غير ممكن لدى الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:38---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:38 فقالت مريم هوذا انا أمة الرب. ليكن لي كقولك. فمضى من عندها الملاك -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:38 And Mary said, "Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:39---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:39 فقامت مريم في تلك الايام وذهبت بسرعة الى الجبال الى مدينة يهوذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:39 Now at this time Mary arose and went in a hurry to the hill country, to a city of Judah,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:40---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:40 ودخلت بيت زكريا وسلمت على اليصابات. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:41---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:41 فلما سمعت اليصابات سلام مريم ارتكض الجنين في بطنها. وامتلأت اليصابات من الروح القدس. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:42---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:42 وصرخت بصوت عظيم وقالت مباركة انت في النساء ومباركة هي ثمرة بطنك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:42 And she cried out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:43---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:43 فمن اين لي هذا ان تأتي ام ربي اليّ. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:43 And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:44---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:44 فهوذا حين صار صوت سلامك في اذنيّ ارتكض الجنين بابتهاج في بطني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:44 For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:45---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:45 فطوبى للتي آمنت ان يتم ما قيل لها من قبل الرب -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:45 And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:46---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:46 فقالت مريم تعظم نفسي الرب -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:46 And Mary said: "My soul exalts the Lord,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:47---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:47 وتبتهج روحي بالله مخلّصي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:48---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:48 لانه نظر الى اتضاع امته. فهوذا منذ الآن جميع الاجيال تطوبني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:48 "For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; And holy is His name.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:50---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:50 ورحمته الى جيل الاجيال للذين يتقونه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:50 "AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:51---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:51 صنع قوة بذراعه. شتّت المستكبرين بفكر قلوبهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:51 "He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:52---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:52 أنزل الاعزاء عن الكراسي ورفع المتضعين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:52 "He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:53---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:53 اشبع الجياع خيرات وصرف الاغنياء فارغين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:53 "HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS; And sent away the rich empty-handed.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:54---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:54 عضد اسرائيل فتاه ليذكر رحمة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:54 "He has given help to Israel His servant, In remembrance of His mercy,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:55---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:55 كما كلم آباءنا. لابراهيم ونسله الى الابد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:55 As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:56---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:56 فمكثت مريم عندها نحو ثلاثة اشهر ثم رجعت الى بيتها -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:56 And Mary stayed with her about three months, and then returned to her home.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:57---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:57 واما اليصابات فتم زمانها لتلد فولدت ابنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:57 Now the time had come for Elizabeth to give birth, and she gave birth to a son.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:58---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:58 وسمع جيرانها واقرباؤها ان الرب عظّم رحمته لها ففرحوا معها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:58 Her neighbors and her relatives heard that the Lord had displayed His great mercy toward her; and they were rejoicing with her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:59---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:59 وفي اليوم الثامن جاءوا ليختنوا الصبي وسموه باسم ابيه زكريا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:59 And it happened that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to call him Zacharias, after his father.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:60---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:60 فاجابت امه وقالت لا بل يسمى يوحنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:60 But his mother answered and said, "No indeed; but he shall be called John."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:61---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:61 فقالوا لها ليس احد في عشيرتك تسمى بهذا الاسم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:61 And they said to her, "There is no one among your relatives who is called by that name."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:62---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:62 ثم اومأوا الى ابيه ماذا يريد ان يسمى. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:62 And they made signs to his father, as to what he wanted him called.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:63---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:63 فطلب لوحا وكتب قائلا اسمه يوحنا. فتعجب الجميع. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:63 And he asked for a tablet and wrote as follows, "His name is John." And they were all astonished.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:64---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:64 وفي الحال انفتح فمه ولسانه وتكلم وبارك الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:64 And at once his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he began to speak in praise of God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:65---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:65 فوقع خوف على كل جيرانهم. وتحدّث بهذه الأمور جميعها في كل جبال اليهودية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:65 Fear came on all those living around them; and all these matters were being talked about in all the hill country of Judea.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 1:66---- (Arabic) ﺎﻗﻮﻟ 1:66 فاودعها جميع السامعين في قلوبهم قائلين اترى ماذا يكون هذا الصبي. وكانت يد الرب معه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 1:66 All who heard them kept them in mind, saying, "What then will this child turn out to be?"
