Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 9:1 ============ Lev 9:1 Now it came about on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel;(nasb) Lev 9:1 καὶ ἐγενήθη τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν γερουσίαν Ισραηλ (lxx) Lev 9:1 Facto autem octavo die, vocavit Moyses Aaron, et filios ejus, ac majores natu Israël, dixitque ad Aaron:(vulgate) Lev 9:1 Und am achten Tage rief Mose Aaron und seine Söhne und die Ältesten in Israel(dhs) Lev 9:1 It came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:2 ============ Lev 9:2 and he said to Aaron, "Take for yourself a calf, a bull, for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without defect, and offer them before the Lord.(nasb) Lev 9:2 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων λαβὲ σεαυτῷ μοσχάριον ἐκ βοῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ κριὸν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἄμωμα καὶ προσένεγκε αὐτὰ ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) Lev 9:2 Tolle de armento vitulum pro peccato, et arietem in holocaustum, utrumque immaculatum, et offer illos coram Domino.(vulgate) Lev 9:2 und sprach zu Aaron: Nimm zu dir ein junges Kalb zum Sündopfer und einen Widder zum Brandopfer, beide ohne Fehl, und bringe sie vor den Herrn.(dhs) Lev 9:2 And he said to Aaron, "Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:3 ============ Lev 9:3 Then to the sons of Israel you shall speak, saying, 'Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both one year old, without defect, for a burnt offering,(nasb) Lev 9:3 καὶ τῇ γερουσίᾳ Ισραηλ λάλησον λέγων λάβετε χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγῶν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ μοσχάριον καὶ ἀμνὸν ἐνιαύσιον εἰς ὁλοκάρπωσιν ἄμωμα (lxx) Lev 9:3 Et ad filios Israël loqueris: Tollite hircum pro peccato, et vitulum, atque agnum, anniculos, et sine macula in holocaustum,(vulgate) Lev 9:3 Und rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich: Nehmt einen Ziegenbock zum Sündopfer und ein Kalb und ein Schaf, beide ein Jahr alt und ohne Fehl, zum Brandopfer(dhs) Lev 9:3 And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, 'Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:4 ============ Lev 9:4 and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.'"(nasb) Lev 9:4 καὶ μόσχον καὶ κριὸν εἰς θυσίαν σωτηρίου ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ σεμίδαλιν πεφυραμένην ἐν ἐλαίῳ ὅτι σήμερον κύριος ὀφθήσεται ἐν ὑμῖν (lxx) Lev 9:4 bovem et arietem pro pacificis: et immolate eos coram Domino, in sacrificio singulorum similam conspersam oleo offerentes: hodie enim Dominus apparebit vobis.(vulgate) Lev 9:4 und einen Ochsen und einen Widder zum Dankopfer, daß wir dem HERRN opfern, und ein Speisopfer, mit Öl gemengt. Denn heute wird euch der HERR erscheinen.(dhs) Lev 9:4 also a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.' "(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:5 ============ Lev 9:5 So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation came near and stood before the Lord.(nasb) Lev 9:5 καὶ ἔλαβον καθὸ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ προσῆλθεν πᾶσα συναγωγὴ καὶ ἔστησαν ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) Lev 9:5 Tulerunt ergo cuncta quæ jusserat Moyses ad ostium tabernaculi: ubi cum omnis multitudo astaret,(vulgate) Lev 9:5 Und sie nahmen, was Mose geboten hatte, vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts; und es trat herzu die ganze Gemeinde und stand vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 9:5 So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:6 ============ Lev 9:6 Moses said, "This is the thing which the Lord has commanded you to do, that the glory of the Lord may appear to you."(nasb) Lev 9:6 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ εἶπεν κύριος ποιήσατε καὶ ὀφθήσεται ἐν ὑμῖν δόξα κυρίου (lxx) Lev 9:6 ait Moyses: Iste est sermo, quem præcepit Dominus: facite, et apparebit vobis gloria ejus.(vulgate) Lev 9:6 Da sprach Mose: Das ist's, was der HERR geboten hat, daß ihr es tun sollt, so wird euch des HERRN Herrlichkeit erscheinen.(dhs) Lev 9:6 Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you."(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:7 ============ Lev 9:7 Moses then said to Aaron, "Come near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, that you may make atonement for yourself and for the people; then make the offering for the people, that you may make atonement for them, just as the Lord has commanded."(nasb) Lev 9:7 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς τῷ Ααρων πρόσελθε πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ποίησον τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σου καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμά σου καὶ ἐξίλασαι περὶ σεαυτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου σου καὶ ποίησον τὰ δῶρα τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἐξίλασαι περὶ αὐτῶν καθάπερ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Lev 9:7 Et dixit ad Aaron: Accede ad altare, et immola pro peccato tuo: offer holocaustum, et deprecare pro te et pro populo: cumque mactaveris hostiam populi, ora pro eo, sicut præcepit Dominus.~(vulgate) Lev 9:7 Und Mose sprach zu Aaron: Tritt zum Altar und mache dein Sündopfer und dein Brandopfer und versöhne dich und das Volk; darnach mache des Volkes Opfer und versöhne sie auch, wie der HERR geboten hat.(dhs) Lev 9:7 And Moses said to Aaron, "Go to the altar, offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. Offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded."(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:8 ============ Lev 9:8 So Aaron came near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering which was for himself.(nasb) Lev 9:8 καὶ προσῆλθεν Ααρων πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἔσφαξεν τὸ μοσχάριον τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας (lxx) Lev 9:8 Statimque Aaron accedens ad altare, immolavit vitulum pro peccato suo:(vulgate) Lev 9:8 Und Aaron trat zum Altar und schlachtete das Kalb zu seinem Sündopfer.(dhs) Lev 9:8 Aaron therefore went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:9 ============ Lev 9:9 Aaron's sons presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood and put some on the horns of the altar, and poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.(nasb) Lev 9:9 καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ἔβαψεν τὸν δάκτυλον εἰς τὸ αἷμα καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ αἷμα ἐξέχεεν ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 9:9 cujus sanguinem obtulerunt ei filii sui: in quo tingens digitum, tetigit cornua altaris, et fudit residuum ad basim ejus.(vulgate) Lev 9:9 Und seine Söhne brachten das Blut zu ihm, und er tauchte mit seinem Finger ins Blut und tat's auf die Hörner des Altars und goß das Blut an des Altars Boden.(dhs) Lev 9:9 Then the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him. And he dipped his finger in the blood, put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:10 ============ Lev 9:10 The fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin offering, he then offered up in smoke on the altar just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) Lev 9:10 καὶ τὸ στέαρ καὶ τοὺς νεφροὺς καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τοῦ ἥπατος τοῦ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἀνήνεγκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ὃν τρόπον ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Lev 9:10 Adipemque, et renunculos, ac reticulum jecoris, quæ sunt pro peccato, adolevit super altare, sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi:(vulgate) Lev 9:10 Aber das Fett und die Nieren und das Netz von der Leber am Sündopfer zündete er an auf dem Altar, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.(dhs) Lev 9:10 But the fat, the kidneys, and the fatty lobe from the liver of the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:11 ============ Lev 9:11 The flesh and the skin, however, he burned with fire outside the camp.(nasb) Lev 9:11 καὶ τὰ κρέα καὶ τὴν βύρσαν κατέκαυσεν αὐτὰ πυρὶ ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς (lxx) Lev 9:11 carnes vero et pellem ejus extra castra combussit igni.(vulgate) Lev 9:11 Und das Fleisch und das Fell verbrannte er mit Feuer draußen vor dem Lager.(dhs) Lev 9:11 The flesh and the hide he burned with fire outside the camp.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:12 ============ Lev 9:12 Then he slaughtered the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons handed the blood to him and he sprinkled it around on the altar.(nasb) Lev 9:12 καὶ ἔσφαξεν τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ προσέχεεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ (lxx) Lev 9:12 Immolavit et holocausti victimam: obtuleruntque ei filii sui sanguinem ejus, quem fudit per altaris circuitum.(vulgate) Lev 9:12 Darnach schlachtete er das Brandopfer; und Aarons Söhne brachten das Blut zu ihm, und er sprengte es auf den Altar umher.(dhs) Lev 9:12 And he killed the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:13 ============ Lev 9:13 They handed the burnt offering to him in pieces, with the head, and he offered them up in smoke on the altar.(nasb) Lev 9:13 καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ κατὰ μέλη αὐτὰ καὶ τὴν κεφαλήν καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον (lxx) Lev 9:13 Ipsam etiam hostiam in frusta concisam, cum capite et membris singulis obtulerunt; quæ omnia super altare cremavit igni,(vulgate) Lev 9:13 Und sie brachten das Brandopfer zu ihm zerstückt und den Kopf; und er zündete es an auf dem Altar.(dhs) Lev 9:13 Then they presented the burnt offering to him, with its pieces and head, and he burned them on the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:14 ============ Lev 9:14 He also washed the entrails and the legs, and offered them up in smoke with the burnt offering on the altar.(nasb) Lev 9:14 καὶ ἔπλυνεν τὴν κοιλίαν καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον (lxx) Lev 9:14 lotis aqua prius intestinis et pedibus.~(vulgate) Lev 9:14 Und er wusch das Eingeweide und die Schenkel und zündete es an oben auf dem Brandopfer auf dem Altar.(dhs) Lev 9:14 And he washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:15 ============ Lev 9:15 Then he presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and slaughtered it and offered it for sin, like the first.(nasb) Lev 9:15 καὶ προσήνεγκαν τὸ δῶρον τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἔλαβεν τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἔσφαξεν αὐτὸ καθὰ καὶ τὸ πρῶτον (lxx) Lev 9:15 Et pro peccato populi offerens, mactavit hircum: expiatoque altari,(vulgate) Lev 9:15 Darnach brachte er herzu des Volks Opfer und nahm den Bock, das Sündopfer des Volks, und schlachtete ihn und machte ein Sündopfer daraus wie das vorige.(dhs) Lev 9:15 Then he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and killed it and offered it for sin, like the first one.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:16 ============ Lev 9:16 He also presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.(nasb) Lev 9:16 καὶ προσήνεγκεν τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτό ὡς καθήκει (lxx) Lev 9:16 fecit holocaustum,(vulgate) Lev 9:16 Und brachte das Brandopfer herzu und tat damit, wie es recht war.(dhs) Lev 9:16 And he brought the burnt offering and offered it according to the prescribed manner.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:17 ============ Lev 9:17 Next he presented the grain offering, and filled his hand with some of it and offered it up in smoke on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.(nasb) Lev 9:17 καὶ προσήνεγκεν τὴν θυσίαν καὶ ἔπλησεν τὰς χεῖρας ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον χωρὶς τοῦ ὁλοκαυτώματος τοῦ πρωινοῦ (lxx) Lev 9:17 addens in sacrificio libamenta, quæ pariter offeruntur, et adolens ea super altare, absque cæremoniis holocausti matutini.(vulgate) Lev 9:17 Und brachte herzu das Speisopfer und nahm seine Hand voll und zündete es an auf dem Altar, außer dem Morgenbrandopfer.(dhs) Lev 9:17 Then he brought the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, besides the burnt sacrifice of the morning.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:18 ============ Lev 9:18 Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings which was for the people; And Aaron's sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:19 ============ Lev 9:19 As for the portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fat tail, and the fat covering, and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver,(nasb) Lev 9:19 καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τοῦ κριοῦ τὴν ὀσφὴν καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος (lxx) Lev 9:19 Adipem autem bovis, et caudam arietis, renunculosque cum adipibus suis, et reticulum jecoris,(vulgate) Lev 9:19 Aber das Fett vom Ochsen und vom Widder, den Schwanz und das Fett am Eingeweide und die Nieren und das Netz über der Leber:(dhs) Lev 9:19 and the fat from the bull and the ram--the fatty tail, what covers the entrails and the kidneys, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:20 ============ Lev 9:20 they now placed the portions of fat on the breasts; and he offered them up in smoke on the altar.(nasb) Lev 9:20 καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὰ στηθύνια καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον (lxx) Lev 9:20 posuerunt super pectora: cumque cremati essent adipes super altare,(vulgate) Lev 9:20 alles solches Fett legten sie auf die Brust; und er zündete das Fett an auf dem Altar.(dhs) Lev 9:20 and they put the fat on the breasts. Then he burned the fat on the altar;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:21 ============ Lev 9:21 But the breasts and the right thigh Aaron presented as a wave offering before the Lord, just as Moses had commanded.(nasb) Lev 9:21 καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιὸν ἀφεῖλεν Ααρων ἀφαίρεμα ἔναντι κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Lev 9:21 pectora eorum, et armos dextros separavit Aaron, elevans coram Domino, sicut præceperat Moyses.~(vulgate) Lev 9:21 Aber die Brust und die rechte Schulter webte Aaron zum Webopfer vor dem HERRN, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.(dhs) Lev 9:21 but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:22 ============ Lev 9:22 Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he stepped down after making the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.(nasb) Lev 9:22 καὶ ἐξάρας Ααρων τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς καὶ κατέβη ποιήσας τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου (lxx) Lev 9:22 Et extendens manus ad populum, benedixit ei. Sicque completis hostiis pro peccato, et holocaustis, et pacificis, descendit.(vulgate) Lev 9:22 Und Aaron hob seine Hand auf zum Volk und segnete sie; und er stieg herab, da er das Sündopfer, Brandopfer und Dankopfer gemacht hatte.(dhs) Lev 9:22 Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:23 ============ Lev 9:23 Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.(nasb) Lev 9:23 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξελθόντες εὐλόγησαν πάντα τὸν λαόν καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου παντὶ τῷ λαῷ (lxx) Lev 9:23 Ingressi autem Moyses et Aaron in tabernaculum testimonii, et deinceps egressi, benedixerunt populo. Apparuitque gloria Domini omni multitudini:(vulgate) Lev 9:23 Und Mose und Aaron gingen in die Hütte des Stifts; und da sie wieder herausgingen, segneten sie das Volk. Da erschien die Herrlichkeit des HERRN allem Volk.(dhs) Lev 9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 9:24 ============ Lev 9:24 Then fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.(nasb) Lev 9:24 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τά τε ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ στέατα καὶ εἶδεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐξέστη καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον (lxx) Lev 9:24 et ecce egressus ignis a Domino, devoravit holocaustum, et adipes qui erant super altare. Quod cum vidissent turbæ, laudaverunt Dominum, ruentes in facies suas.(vulgate) Lev 9:24 Und ein Feuer ging aus von dem HERRN und verzehrte auf dem Altar das Brandopfer und das Fett. Da das alles Volk sah, frohlockten sie und fielen auf ihr Antlitz.(dhs) Lev 9:24 and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar.
