Today's Date: ======= Psalm 28:1 ============ Psa 28:1 To You, O Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, For if You are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit.(nasb) Psa 28:1 τοῦ Δαυιδ πρὸς σέ κύριε ἐκέκραξα ὁ θεός μου μὴ παρασιωπήσῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ μήποτε παρασιωπήσῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ ὁμοιωθήσομαι τοῖς καταβαίνουσιν εἰς λάκκον (lxx) Psa 28:1 [Vulgate 27:1] David ad te Domine clamabo Fortis meus ne obsurdescas mihi ne forte tacente te mihi conparer his qui descendunt in lacum(vulgate) Psa 28:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids.) To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:2 ============ Psa 28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.(nasb) Psa 28:2 εἰσάκουσον τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου ἐν τῷ δέεσθαί με πρὸς σέ ἐν τῷ με αἴρειν χεῖράς μου πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου (lxx) Psa 28:2 [Vulgate 27:2] audi Domine deprecationem meam cum clamavero ad te cum levavero manus meas ad oraculum sanctum tuum(vulgate) Psa 28:2 Höre die Stimme meines Flehens, wenn ich zu dir schreie, wenn ich meine Hände aufhebe zu deinem heiligen Chor.(dhs) Psa 28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:3 ============ Psa 28:3 Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who work iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts.(nasb) Psa 28:3 μὴ συνελκύσῃς μετὰ ἁμαρτωλῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ μετὰ ἐργαζομένων ἀδικίαν μὴ συναπολέσῃς με τῶν λαλούντων εἰρήνην μετὰ τῶν πλησίον αὐτῶν κακὰ δὲ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 28:3 [Vulgate 27:3] ne trahas me cum impiis et cum operantibus iniquitatem qui loquuntur pacem cum amicis suis et est malum in corde eorum(vulgate) Psa 28:3 Raffe mich nicht hin mit den Gottlosen und mit den Übeltätern, die freundlich reden mit ihrem Nächsten und haben Böses im Herzen.(dhs) Psa 28:3 Do not take me away with the wicked And with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace to their neighbors, But evil is in their hearts.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:4 ============ Psa 28:4 Requite them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices; Requite them according to the deeds of their hands; Repay them their recompense.(nasb) Psa 28:4 δὸς αὐτοῖς κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν καὶ κατὰ τὴν πονηρίαν τῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν δὸς αὐτοῖς ἀπόδος τὸ ἀνταπόδομα αὐτῶν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Psa 28:4 [Vulgate 27:4] da eis secundum opus suum et secundum malum adinventionum suarum iuxta opus manuum suarum da eis redde retributionem suam illis(vulgate) Psa 28:4 Gib ihnen nach ihrer Tat und nach ihrem bösen Wesen; gib ihnen nach den Werken ihrer Hände; vergilt ihnen, was sie verdient haben.(dhs) Psa 28:4 Give them according to their deeds, And according to the wickedness of their endeavors; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them what they deserve.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:5 ============ Psa 28:5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.(nasb) Psa 28:5 ὅτι οὐ συνῆκαν εἰς τὰ ἔργα κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ καθελεῖς αὐτοὺς καὶ οὐ μὴ οἰκοδομήσεις αὐτούς (lxx) Psa 28:5 [Vulgate 27:5] quoniam non intellegunt opera Domini et opus manuum eius destrues eos et non aedificabis(vulgate) Psa 28:5 Denn sie wollen nicht achten auf das Tun des HERRN noch auf die Werke seiner Hände; darum wird er sie zerbrechen und nicht aufbauen.(dhs) Psa 28:5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:6 ============ Psa 28:6 Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.(nasb) Psa 28:6 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὅτι εἰσήκουσεν τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου (lxx) Psa 28:6 [Vulgate 27:6] benedictus Dominus qui audivit vocem deprecationis meae(vulgate) Psa 28:6 Gelobt sei der HERR; denn er hat erhört die Stimme meines Flehens.(dhs) Psa 28:6 Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:7 ============ Psa 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.(nasb) Psa 28:7 κύριος βοηθός μου καὶ ὑπερασπιστής μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἤλπισεν ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἐβοηθήθην καὶ ἀνέθαλεν ἡ σάρξ μου καὶ ἐκ θελήματός μου ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ (lxx) Psa 28:7 [Vulgate 27:7] Dominus fortitudo mea et scutum meum in ipso confisum est cor meum et habui adiutorium gavisum est cor meum et in cantico meo confitebor illi(vulgate) Psa 28:7 Der HERR ist meine Stärke und mein Schild; auf ihn hofft mein Herz, und mir ist geholfen. Und mein Herz ist fröhlich, und ich will ihm danken mit meinem Lied.(dhs) Psa 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:8 ============ Psa 28:8 The Lord is their strength, And He is a saving defense to His anointed.(nasb) Psa 28:8 κύριος κραταίωμα τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς τῶν σωτηρίων τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ ἐστιν (lxx) Psa 28:8 [Vulgate 27:8] Dominus fortitudo mea et robur salutarium christi sui est(vulgate) Psa 28:8 Der HERR ist meine Stärke; er ist die Stärke, die seinem Gesalbten hilft.(dhs) Psa 28:8 The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 28:9 ============ Psa 28:9 Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.(nasb) Psa 28:9 σῶσον τὸν λαόν σου καὶ εὐλόγησον τὴν κληρονομίαν σου καὶ ποίμανον αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔπαρον αὐτοὺς ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 28:9 [Vulgate 27:9] salva populum tuum et benedic hereditati tuae et pasce eos et subleva eos usque in sempiternum(vulgate) Psa 28:9 Hilf deinem Volk und segne dein Erbe und weide sie und erhöhe sie ewiglich!(dhs) Psa 28:9 Save Your people, And bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, And bear them up forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 29:1 ============ top of the page
