Today's Date: ======= Psalm 43:1 ============ Psa 43:1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!(nasb) Psa 43:1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ κρῖνόν με ὁ θεός καὶ δίκασον τὴν δίκην μου ἐξ ἔθνους οὐχ ὁσίου ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἀδίκου καὶ δολίου ῥῦσαί με (lxx) Psa 43:1 [Vulgate 42:1] iudica me Deus et discerne causam meam a gente non sancta a viro doloso et iniquo salva me(vulgate) Psa 43:1 Richte mich, Gott, und führe meine Sache wider das unheilige Volk und errette mich von den falschen und bösen Leuten.(dhs) Psa 43:1 Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:2 ============ Psa 43:2 For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?(nasb) Psa 43:2 ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεός κραταίωμά μου ἵνα τί ἀπώσω με καὶ ἵνα τί σκυθρωπάζων πορεύομαι ἐν τῷ ἐκθλίβειν τὸν ἐχθρόν μου (lxx) Psa 43:2 [Vulgate 42:2] tu enim Deus fortitudo mea quare proiecisti me quare tristis incedo adfligente inimico(vulgate) Psa 43:2 Denn du bist der Gott meine Stärke; warum verstößest du mich? Warum lässest du mich so traurig gehen, wenn mich mein Feind drängt?(dhs) Psa 43:2 For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:3 ============ Psa 43:3 O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.(nasb) Psa 43:3 ἐξαπόστειλον τὸ φῶς σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου αὐτά με ὡδήγησαν καὶ ἤγαγόν με εἰς ὄρος ἅγιόν σου καὶ εἰς τὰ σκηνώματά σου (lxx) Psa 43:3 [Vulgate 42:3] mitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam ipsae ducent me et introducent ad montem sanctum tuum et ad tabernaculum tuum(vulgate) Psa 43:3 Sende dein Licht und deine Wahrheit, daß sie mich leiten und bringen zu deinem heiligen Berg und zu deiner Wohnung,(dhs) Psa 43:3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:4 ============ Psa 43:4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.(nasb) Psa 43:4 καὶ εἰσελεύσομαι πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὸν εὐφραίνοντα τὴν νεότητά μου ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν κιθάρᾳ ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός μου (lxx) Psa 43:4 [Vulgate 42:4] et introibo ad altare tuum ad Deum laetitiae et exultationis meae et confitebor tibi in cithara Deus Deus meus(vulgate) Psa 43:4 daß ich hineingehe zum Altar Gottes, zu dem Gott, der meine Freude und Wonne ist, und dir, Gott, auf der Harfe danke, mein Gott.(dhs) Psa 43:4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 43:5 ============ Psa 43:5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.(nasb) Psa 43:5 ἵνα τί περίλυπος εἶ ψυχή καὶ ἵνα τί συνταράσσεις με ἔλπισον ἐπὶ τὸν θεόν ὅτι ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ σωτήριον τοῦ προσώπου μου ὁ θεός μου (lxx) Psa 43:5 [Vulgate 42:5] quare incurvaris anima mea et quare conturbas me expecta Dominum quoniam adhuc confitebor ei salutibus vultus mei et Deo meo(vulgate) Psa 43:5 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Harre auf Gott! denn ich werde ihm noch danken, daß er meines Angesichts Hilfe und mein Gott ist.(dhs) Psa 43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?
