Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 46:1 ============ Isa 46:1 Bel has bowed down, Nebo stoops over; Their images are consigned to the beasts and the cattle. The things that you carry are burdensome, A load for the weary beast.(nasb) Isa 46:1 ἔπεσε Βηλ συνετρίβη Δαγων ἐγένετο τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτῶν εἰς θηρία καὶ κτήνη αἴρετε αὐτὰ καταδεδεμένα ὡς φορτίον κοπιῶντι (lxx) Isa 46:1 [Confractus est Bel, contritus est Nabo; facta sunt simulacra eorum bestiis et jumentis, onera vestra gravi pondere usque ad lassitudinem.(vulgate) Isa 46:1 Der Bel ist gebeugt, der Nebo ist gefallen, ihre Götzen sind den Tieren und dem Vieh zuteil geworden, daß sie sich müde tragen an eurer Last.(dhs) Isa 46:1 Bel bows down, Nebo stoops; Their idols were on the beasts and on the cattle. Your carriages were heavily loaded, A burden to the weary beast.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:2 ============ Isa 46:2 They stooped over, they have bowed down together; They could not rescue the burden, But have themselves gone into captivity.(nasb) Isa 46:2 καὶ πεινῶντι καὶ ἐκλελυμένῳ οὐκ ἰσχύοντι ἅμα οἳ οὐ δυνήσονται σωθῆναι ἀπὸ πολέμου αὐτοὶ δὲ αἰχμάλωτοι ἤχθησαν (lxx) Isa 46:2 Contabuerunt, et contrita sunt simul; non potuerunt salvare portantem, et anima eorum in captivitatem ibit.(vulgate) Isa 46:2 Ja, sie fallen und beugen sich allesamt und können die Last nicht wegbringen; sondern ihre Seelen müssen ins Gefängnis gehen.(dhs) Isa 46:2 They stoop, they bow down together; They could not deliver the burden, But have themselves gone into captivity.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:3 ============ Isa 46:3 "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, You who have been borne by Me from birth And have been carried from the womb;(nasb) Isa 46:3 ἀκούσατέ μου οἶκος τοῦ Ιακωβ καὶ πᾶν τὸ κατάλοιπον τοῦ Ισραηλ οἱ αἰρόμενοι ἐκ κοιλίας καὶ παιδευόμενοι ἐκ παιδίου (lxx) Isa 46:3 Audite me, domus Jacob, et omne residuum domus Israël; qui portamini a meo utero, qui gestamini a mea vulva.(vulgate) Isa 46:3 Höret mir zu, ihr vom Hause Jakob und alle übrigen vom Hause Israel, die ihr von mir getragen werdet von Mutterleibe an und von der Mutter her auf mir liegt.(dhs) Isa 46:3 "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:4 ============ Isa 46:4 Even to your old age I will be the same, And even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; And I will bear you and I will deliver you.(nasb) Isa 46:4 ἕως γήρους ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ ἕως ἂν καταγηράσητε ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγὼ ἀνέχομαι ὑμῶν ἐγὼ ἐποίησα καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνήσω ἐγὼ ἀναλήμψομαι καὶ σώσω ὑμᾶς (lxx) Isa 46:4 Usque ad senectam ego ipse, et usque ad canos ego portabo; ego feci, et ego feram; ego portabo, et salvabo.(vulgate) Isa 46:4 Ja, ich will euch tragen bis ins Alter und bis ihr grau werdet. Ich will es tun, ich will heben und tragen und erretten.(dhs) Isa 46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:5 ============ Isa 46:5 "To whom would you liken Me And make Me equal and compare Me, That we would be alike?(nasb) Isa 46:5 τίνι με ὡμοιώσατε ἴδετε τεχνάσασθε οἱ πλανώμενοι (lxx) Isa 46:5 Cui assimilastis me, et adæquastis, et comparastis me, et fecistis similem?(vulgate) Isa 46:5 Nach wem bildet und wem vergleicht ihr mich denn? Gegen wen messet ihr mich, dem ich gleich sein solle?(dhs) Isa 46:5 "To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal And compare Me, that we should be alike?(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:6 ============ Isa 46:6 "Those who lavish gold from the purse And weigh silver on the scale Hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; They bow down, indeed they worship it.(nasb) Isa 46:6 οἱ συμβαλλόμενοι χρυσίον ἐκ μαρσιππίου καὶ ἀργύριον ἐν ζυγῷ στήσουσιν ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ μισθωσάμενοι χρυσοχόον ἐποίησαν χειροποίητα καὶ κύψαντες προσκυνοῦσιν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Isa 46:6 Qui confertis aurum de sacculo, et argentum statera ponderatis, conducentes aurificem ut faciat deum, et procidunt, et adorant.(vulgate) Isa 46:6 Sie schütten das Gold aus dem Beutel und wägen dar das Silber mit der Waage und lohnen dem Goldschmied, daß er einen Gott daraus mache, vor dem sie knieen und anbeten.(dhs) Isa 46:6 They lavish gold out of the bag, And weigh silver on the scales; They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a god; They prostrate themselves, yes, they worship.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:7 ============ Isa 46:7 "They lift it upon the shoulder and carry it; They set it in its place and it stands there. It does not move from its place. Though one may cry to it, it cannot answer; It cannot deliver him from his distress.(nasb) Isa 46:7 αἴρουσιν αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων καὶ πορεύονται ἐὰν δὲ θῶσιν αὐτό ἐπὶ τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ μένει οὐ μὴ κινηθῇ καὶ ὃς ἂν βοήσῃ πρὸς αὐτόν οὐ μὴ εἰσακούσῃ ἀπὸ κακῶν οὐ μὴ σώσῃ αὐτόν (lxx) Isa 46:7 Portant illum in humeris gestantes, et ponentes in loco suo, et stabit, ac de loco suo non movebitur: sed et cum clamaverint ad eum, non audiet; de tribulatione non salvabit eos.(vulgate) Isa 46:7 Sie heben ihn auf die Achseln und tragen ihn und setzen ihn an seine Stätte. Da steht er und kommt von seinem Ort nicht. Schreit einer zu ihm, so antwortet er nicht und hilft ihm nicht aus seiner Not.(dhs) Isa 46:7 They bear it on the shoulder, they carry it And set it in its place, and it stands; From its place it shall not move. I have planned it, surely I will do it.(nasb) Isa 46:11 καλῶν ἀπ᾽ ἀνατολῶν πετεινὸν καὶ ἀπὸ γῆς πόρρωθεν περὶ ὧν βεβούλευμαι ἐλάλησα καὶ ἤγαγον ἔκτισα καὶ ἐποίησα ἤγαγον αὐτὸν καὶ εὐόδωσα τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Isa 46:11 Vocans ab oriente avem, et de terra longinqua virum voluntatis meæ: et locutus sum, et adducam illud; creavi et faciam illud.(vulgate) Isa 46:11 Ich rufe einen Adler vom Aufgang und einen Mann, der meinen Anschlag tue, aus fernem Lande. I have purposed it; I will also do it.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:12 ============ Isa 46:12 "Listen to Me, you stubborn-minded, Who are far from righteousness.(nasb) Isa 46:12 ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ ἀπολωλεκότες τὴν καρδίαν οἱ μακρὰν ἀπὸ τῆς δικαιοσύνης (lxx) Isa 46:12 Audite me, duro corde, qui longe estis a justitia.(vulgate) Isa 46:12 Höret mir zu, ihr stolzen Herzen, die ihr ferne seid von der Gerechtigkeit.(dhs) Isa 46:12 "Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 46:13 ============ Isa 46:13 "I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off; And My salvation will not delay. And I will grant salvation in Zion, And My glory for Israel.(nasb) Isa 46:13 ἤγγισα τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ τὴν σωτηρίαν τὴν παρ᾽ ἐμοῦ οὐ βραδυνῶ δέδωκα ἐν Σιων σωτηρίαν τῷ Ισραηλ εἰς δόξασμα (lxx) Isa 46:13 Prope feci justitiam meam, non elongabitur, et salus mea non morabitur. Dabo in Sion salutem, et in Israël gloriam meam.](vulgate) Isa 46:13 Ich habe meine Gerechtigkeit nahe gebracht; sie ist nicht ferne und mein Heil säumt nicht; denn ich will zu Zion das Heil geben und in Israel meine Herrlichkeit.(dhs) Isa 46:13 I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger.
