And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:2 ============ Isa 60:2 "For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.(nasb) Isa 60:2 ἰδοὺ σκότος καὶ γνόφος καλύψει γῆν ἐπ᾽ ἔθνη ἐπὶ δὲ σὲ φανήσεται κύριος καὶ ἡ δόξα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ σὲ ὀφθήσεται (lxx) Isa 60:2 Quia ecce tenebræ operient terram, et caligo populos; super te autem orietur Dominus, et gloria ejus in te videbitur.(vulgate) Isa 60:2 Denn siehe, Finsternis bedeckt das Erdreich und Dunkel die Völker; aber über dir geht auf der HERR, und seine Herrlichkeit erscheint über dir.(dhs) Isa 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:3 ============ Isa 60:3 "Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.(nasb) Isa 60:3 καὶ πορεύσονται βασιλεῖς τῷ φωτί σου καὶ ἔθνη τῇ λαμπρότητί σου (lxx) Isa 60:3 Et ambulabunt gentes in lumine tuo, et reges in splendore ortus tui.(vulgate) Isa 60:3 Und die Heiden werden in deinem Lichte wandeln und die Könige im Glanz, der über dir aufgeht.(dhs) Isa 60:3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:4 ============ Isa 60:4 "Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms.(nasb) Isa 60:4 ἆρον κύκλῳ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἰδὲ συνηγμένα τὰ τέκνα σου ἰδοὺ ἥκασιν πάντες οἱ υἱοί σου μακρόθεν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες σου ἐπ᾽ ὤμων ἀρθήσονται (lxx) Isa 60:4 Leva in circuitu oculos tuos, et vide: omnes isti congregati sunt, venerunt tibi; filii tui de longe venient et filiæ tuæ de latere surgent.(vulgate) Isa 60:4 Hebe deine Augen auf und siehe umher: diese alle versammelt kommen zu dir. Deine Söhne werden von ferne kommen und deine Töchter auf dem Arme hergetragen werden.(dhs) Isa 60:4 "Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:5 ============ Isa 60:5 "Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you.(nasb) Isa 60:5 τότε ὄψῃ καὶ φοβηθήσῃ καὶ ἐκστήσῃ τῇ καρδίᾳ ὅτι μεταβαλεῖ εἰς σὲ πλοῦτος θαλάσσης καὶ ἐθνῶν καὶ λαῶν καὶ ἥξουσίν σοι (lxx) Isa 60:5 Tunc videbis, et afflues; mirabitur et dilatabitur cor tuum: quando conversa fuerit ad te multitudo maris; fortitudo gentium venerit tibi.(vulgate) Isa 60:5 Dann wirst du deine Lust sehen und ausbrechen, und dein Herz wird sich wundern und ausbreiten, wenn sich die Menge am Meer zu dir bekehrt und die Macht der Heiden zu dir kommt.(dhs) Isa 60:5 Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:6 ============ Isa 60:6 "A multitude of camels will cover you, The young camels of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba will come; They will bring gold and frankincense, And will bear good news of the praises of the Lord.(nasb) Isa 60:6 ἀγέλαι καμήλων καὶ καλύψουσίν σε κάμηλοι Μαδιαμ καὶ Γαιφα πάντες ἐκ Σαβα ἥξουσιν φέροντες χρυσίον καὶ λίβανον οἴσουσιν καὶ τὸ σωτήριον κυρίου εὐαγγελιοῦνται (lxx) Isa 60:6 Inundatio camelorum operiet te, dromedarii Madian et Epha; omnes de Saba venient, aurum et thus deferentes, et laudem Domino annuntiantes.(vulgate) Isa 60:6 Denn die Menge der Kamele wird dich bedecken, die jungen Kamele aus Midian und Epha. Sie werden aus Saba alle kommen, Gold und Weihrauch bringen und des HERRN Lob verkündigen.(dhs) Isa 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover your land, The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:7 ============ Isa 60:7 "All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth will minister to you; They will go up with acceptance on My altar, And I shall glorify My glorious house.(nasb) Isa 60:7 καὶ πάντα τὰ πρόβατα Κηδαρ συναχθήσονταί σοι καὶ κριοὶ Ναβαιωθ ἥξουσίν σοι καὶ ἀνενεχθήσεται δεκτὰ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριόν μου καὶ ὁ οἶκος τῆς προσευχῆς μου δοξασθήσεται (lxx) Isa 60:7 Omne pecus Cedar congregabitur tibi; arietes Nabaioth ministrabunt tibi: offerentur super placabili altari meo, et domum majestatis meæ glorificabo.(vulgate) Isa 60:7 Alle Herden in Kedar sollen zu dir versammelt werden, und die Böcke Nebajoths sollen dir dienen. They will not be closed day or night, So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, With their kings led in procession.(nasb) Isa 60:11 καὶ ἀνοιχθήσονται αἱ πύλαι σου διὰ παντός ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς οὐ κλεισθήσονται εἰσαγαγεῖν πρὸς σὲ δύναμιν ἐθνῶν καὶ βασιλεῖς ἀγομένους (lxx) Isa 60:11 Et aperientur portæ tuæ jugiter; die ac nocte non claudentur, ut afferatur ad te fortitudo gentium, et reges earum adducantur.(vulgate) Isa 60:11 Und deine Tore sollen stets offen stehen, weder Tag noch Nacht zugeschlossen werden, daß der Heiden Macht zu dir gebracht und ihre Könige herzugeführt werden.(dhs) Isa 60:11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; They shall not be shut day or night, That men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, And their kings in procession.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:12 ============ Isa 60:12 "For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish, And the nations will be utterly ruined.(nasb) Isa 60:12 τὰ γὰρ ἔθνη καὶ οἱ βασιλεῖς οἵτινες οὐ δουλεύσουσίν σοι ἀπολοῦνται καὶ τὰ ἔθνη ἐρημίᾳ ἐρημωθήσονται (lxx) Isa 60:12 Gens enim et regnum quod non servierit tibi peribit, et gentes solitudine vastabuntur.(vulgate) Isa 60:12 Denn welche Heiden oder Königreiche dir nicht dienen wollen, die sollen umkommen und die Heiden verwüstet werden.(dhs) Isa 60:12 For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, And those nations shall be utterly ruined.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:13 ============ Isa 60:13 "The glory of Lebanon will come to you, The juniper, the box tree and the cypress together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I shall make the place of My feet glorious.(nasb) Isa 60:13 καὶ ἡ δόξα τοῦ Λιβάνου πρὸς σὲ ἥξει ἐν κυπαρίσσῳ καὶ πεύκῃ καὶ κέδρῳ ἅμα δοξάσαι τὸν τόπον τὸν ἅγιόν μου (lxx) Isa 60:13 Gloria Libani ad te veniet, abies, et buxus, et pinus simul ad ornandum locum sanctificationis meæ; et locum pedum meorum glorificabo.(vulgate) Isa 60:13 Die Herrlichkeit des Libanon soll an dich kommen, Tannen, Buchen und Buchsbaum miteinander, zu schmücken den Ort meines Heiligtums; denn ich will die Stätte meiner Füße herrlich machen.(dhs) Isa 60:13 "The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, The cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I will make the place of My feet glorious.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:14 ============ Isa 60:14 "The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, And all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; And they will call you the city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.(nasb) Isa 60:14 καὶ πορεύσονται πρὸς σὲ δεδοικότες υἱοὶ ταπεινωσάντων σε καὶ παροξυνάντων σε καὶ κληθήσῃ πόλις κυρίου Σιων ἁγίου Ισραηλ (lxx) Isa 60:14 Et venient ad te curvi filii eorum qui humiliaverunt te, et adorabunt vestigia pedum tuorum omnes qui detrahebant tibi: et vocabunt te civitatem Domini, Sion Sancti Israël.(vulgate) Isa 60:14 Es werden auch gebückt zu dir kommen, die dich unterdrückt haben; und alle; die dich gelästert haben, werden niederfallen zu deinen Füßen und werden dich nennen eine Stadt des HERRN, ein Zion des Heiligen in Israel.(dhs) Isa 60:14 Also the sons of those who afflicted you Shall come bowing to you, And all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet; I will also make your officers peace, And your magistrates righteousness.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:18 ============ Isa 60:18 "Violence will not be heard again in your land, Nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.(nasb) Isa 60:18 καὶ οὐκ ἀκουσθήσεται ἔτι ἀδικία ἐν τῇ γῇ σου οὐδὲ σύντριμμα οὐδὲ ταλαιπωρία ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις σου ἀλλὰ κληθήσεται σωτήριον τὰ τείχη σου καὶ αἱ πύλαι σου γλύμμα (lxx) Isa 60:18 Non audietur ultra iniquitas in terra tua; vastitas et contritio in terminis tuis: et occupabit salus muros tuos, et portas tuas laudatio.(vulgate) Isa 60:18 Man soll keinen Frevel mehr hören in deinem Lande noch Schaden oder Verderben in deinen Grenzen; sondern deine Mauern sollen Heil und deine Tore Lob heißen.(dhs) Isa 60:18 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:19 ============ Isa 60:19 "No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the Lord for an everlasting light, And your God for your glory.(nasb) Isa 60:19 καὶ οὐκ ἔσται σοι ὁ ἥλιος εἰς φῶς ἡμέρας οὐδὲ ἀνατολὴ σελήνης φωτιεῖ σοι τὴν νύκτα ἀλλ᾽ ἔσται σοι κύριος φῶς αἰώνιον καὶ ὁ θεὸς δόξα σου (lxx) Isa 60:19 Non erit tibi amplius sol ad lucendum per diem, nec splendor lunæ illuminabit te: sed erit tibi Dominus in lucem sempiternam, et Deus tuus in gloriam tuam.(vulgate) Isa 60:19 Die Sonne soll nicht mehr des Tages dir scheinen, und der Glanz des Mondes soll dir nicht leuchten; sondern der HERR wird dein ewiges Licht und dein Gott wird dein Preis sein.(dhs) Isa 60:19 "The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:20 ============ Isa 60:20 "Your sun will no longer set, Nor will your moon wane; For you will have the Lord for an everlasting light, And the days of your mourning will be over.(nasb) Isa 60:20 οὐ γὰρ δύσεται ὁ ἥλιός σοι καὶ ἡ σελήνη σοι οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἔσται γὰρ κύριός σοι φῶς αἰώνιον καὶ ἀναπληρωθήσονται αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ πένθους σου (lxx) Isa 60:20 Non occidet ultra sol tuus, et luna tua non minuetur, quia erit tibi Dominus in lucem sempiternam, et complebuntur dies luctus tui.(vulgate) Isa 60:20 Deine Sonne wird nicht mehr untergehen noch dein Mond den Schein verlieren; denn der HERR wird dein ewiges Licht sein, und die Tage deines Leides sollen ein Ende haben.(dhs) Isa 60:20 Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:21 ============ Isa 60:21 "Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.(nasb) Isa 60:21 καὶ ὁ λαός σου πᾶς δίκαιος καὶ δι᾽ αἰῶνος κληρονομήσουσιν τὴν γῆν φυλάσσων τὸ φύτευμα ἔργα χειρῶν αὐτοῦ εἰς δόξαν (lxx) Isa 60:21 Populus autem tuus omnes justi; in perpetuum hæreditabunt terram: germen plantationis meæ, opus manus meæ ad glorificandum.(vulgate) Isa 60:21 Und dein Volk sollen eitel Gerechte sein; sie werden das Erdreich ewiglich besitzen, als die der Zweig meiner Pflanzung und ein Werk meiner Hände sind zum Preise.(dhs) Isa 60:21 Also your people shall all be righteous; They shall inherit the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 60:22 ============ Isa 60:22 "The smallest one will become a clan, And the least one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time."(nasb) Isa 60:22 ὁ ὀλιγοστὸς ἔσται εἰς χιλιάδας καὶ ὁ ἐλάχιστος εἰς ἔθνος μέγα ἐγὼ κύριος κατὰ καιρὸν συνάξω αὐτούς (lxx) Isa 60:22 Minimus erit in mille, et parvulus in gentem fortissimam. Ego Dominus in tempore ejus subito faciam istud.](vulgate) Isa 60:22 Aus dem Kleinsten sollen tausend werden und aus dem Geringsten eine Mächtiges Volk.
