Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 2:1 ============ Eze 2:1 Then He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet that I may speak with you!"(nasb) Eze 2:1 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στῆθι ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας σου καὶ λαλήσω πρὸς σέ (lxx) Eze 2:1 Hæc visio similitudinis gloriæ Domini. Et vidi, et cecidi in faciem meam, et audivi vocem loquentis, et dixit ad me: Fili hominis, sta super pedes tuos, et loquar tecum.(vulgate) Eze 2:1 Und er sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, tritt auf deine Füße, so will ich mit dir reden.(dhs) Eze 2:1 And He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:2 ============ Eze 2:2 As He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me.(nasb) Eze 2:2 καὶ ἦλθεν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ πνεῦμα καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με καὶ ἐξῆρέν με καὶ ἔστησέν με ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας μου καὶ ἤκουον αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος πρός με (lxx) Eze 2:2 Et ingressus est in me spiritus postquam locutus est mihi, et statuit me supra pedes meos: et audivi loquentem ad me,(vulgate) Eze 2:2 Und da er so mit mir redete, ward ich erquickt und trat auf meine Füße und hörte dem zu, der mit mir redete.(dhs) Eze 2:2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:3 ============ Eze 2:3 Then He said to me, "Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.(nasb) Eze 2:3 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἐξαποστέλλω ἐγώ σε πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ τοὺς παραπικραίνοντάς με οἵτινες παρεπίκρανάν με αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας (lxx) Eze 2:3 et dicentem: Fili hominis, mitto ego te ad filios Israël, ad gentes apostatrices quæ recesserunt a me: ipsi et patres eorum prævaricati sunt pactum meum usque ad diem hanc:(vulgate) Eze 2:3 Und er sprach zu mir: Du Menschenkind, ich sende dich zu den Kindern Israel, zu dem abtrünnigen Volk, so von mir abtrünnig geworden sind. Sie samt ihren Vätern haben bis auf diesen heutigen Tag wider mich getan.(dhs) Eze 2:3 And He said to me: "Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:4 ============ Eze 2:4 I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God.'(nasb) Eze 2:4 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 2:4 et filii dura facie et indomabili corde sunt, ad quos ego mitto te. Et dices ad eos: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus:(vulgate) Eze 2:4 Aber die Kinder, zu welchen ich dich sende, haben harte Köpfe und verstockte Herzen. Zu denen sollst du sagen: So spricht der HERR HERR!(dhs) Eze 2:4 For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:5 ============ Eze 2:5 As for them, whether they listen or not--for they are a rebellious house--they will know that a prophet has been among them.(nasb) Eze 2:5 ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἢ πτοηθῶσιν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι προφήτης εἶ σὺ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 2:5 si forte vel ipsi audiant, et si forte quiescant, quoniam domus exasperans est: et scient quia propheta fuerit in medio eorum.(vulgate) Eze 2:5 Sie gehorchen oder lassen's. Es ist wohl ein ungehorsames Haus; dennoch sollen sie wissen, daß ein Prophet unter ihnen ist.(dhs) Eze 2:5 As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse--for they are a rebellious house--yet they will know that a prophet has been among them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:6 ============ Eze 2:6 And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house.(nasb) Eze 2:6 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου μὴ φοβηθῇς αὐτοὺς μηδὲ ἐκστῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν διότι παροιστρήσουσι καὶ ἐπισυστήσονται ἐπὶ σὲ κύκλῳ καὶ ἐν μέσῳ σκορπίων σὺ κατοικεῖς τοὺς λόγους αὐτῶν μὴ φοβηθῇς καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν μὴ ἐκστῇς διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (lxx) Eze 2:6 Tu ergo, fili hominis, ne timeas eos, neque sermones eorum metuas, quoniam increduli et subversores sunt tecum, et cum scorpionibus habitas. Verba eorum ne timeas, et vultus eorum ne formides, quia domus exasperans est.(vulgate) Eze 2:6 Und du Menschenkind, sollst dich vor ihnen nicht fürchten noch vor ihren Worten fürchten. Es sind wohl widerspenstige und stachlige Dornen bei dir, und du wohnst unter Skorpionen; aber du sollst dich nicht fürchten vor ihren Worten noch vor ihrem Angesicht dich entsetzen, ob sie wohl ein ungehorsames Haus sind,(dhs) Eze 2:6 "And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:7 ============ Eze 2:7 But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.(nasb) Eze 2:7 καὶ λαλήσεις τοὺς λόγους μου πρὸς αὐτούς ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἢ πτοηθῶσιν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (lxx) Eze 2:7 Loqueris ergo verba mea ad eos, si forte audiant, et quiescant: quoniam irritatores sunt.(vulgate) Eze 2:7 sondern du sollst ihnen meine Worte sagen, sie gehorchen oder lassen's; denn es ist ein ungehorsames Volk.(dhs) Eze 2:7 You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:8 ============ Eze 2:8 "Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you."(nasb) Eze 2:8 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἄκουε τοῦ λαλοῦντος πρὸς σέ μὴ γίνου παραπικραίνων καθὼς ὁ οἶκος ὁ παραπικραίνων χάνε τὸ στόμα σου καὶ φάγε ἃ ἐγὼ δίδωμί σοι (lxx) Eze 2:8 Tu autem, fili hominis, audi quæcumque loquor ad te, et noli esse exasperans, sicut domus exasperatrix est: aperi os tuum, et comede quæcumque ego do tibi.(vulgate) Eze 2:8 Aber du, Menschenkind, höre du, was ich dir sage, und sei nicht ungehorsam, wie das ungehorsame Haus ist. Tue deinen Mund auf und iß, was ich dir geben werde.(dhs) Eze 2:8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:9 ============ Eze 2:9 Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and lo, a scroll was in it.(nasb) Eze 2:9 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ χεὶρ ἐκτεταμένη πρός με καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ κεφαλὶς βιβλίου (lxx) Eze 2:9 Et vidi: et ecce manus missa ad me, in qua erat involutus liber:(vulgate) Eze 2:9 Und ich sah, und siehe, da war eine Hand gegen mich ausgestreckt, die hatte einen zusammengelegten Brief;(dhs) Eze 2:9 Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 2:10 ============ Eze 2:10 When He spread it out before me, it was written on the front and back, and written on it were lamentations, mourning and woe.(nasb) Eze 2:10 καὶ ἀνείλησεν αὐτὴν ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ γεγραμμένα ἦν τὰ ὄπισθεν καὶ τὰ ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐγέγραπτο εἰς αὐτὴν θρῆνος καὶ μέλος καὶ οὐαί (lxx) Eze 2:10 et expandit illum coram me, qui erat scriptus intus et foris: et scriptæ erant in eo lamentationes, et carmen, et væ.(vulgate) Eze 2:10 den breitete sie aus vor mir, und er war beschrieben auswendig und inwendig, und stand darin geschrieben Klage, Ach und Wehe.(dhs) Eze 2:10 Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 3:1 ============ top of the page
