"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:3 ============ Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing.(nasb) Eze 13:3 τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ τοῖς προφητεύουσιν ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ καθόλου μὴ βλέπουσιν (lxx) Eze 13:3 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Væ prophetis insipientibus, qui sequuntur spiritum suum, et nihil vident!(vulgate) Eze 13:3 So spricht der HERR HERR: Weh den tollen Propheten, die ihrem eigenen Geist folgen und haben keine Gesichte!(dhs) Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God: "Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:4 ============ Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins.(nasb) Eze 13:4 οἱ προφῆταί σου Ισραηλ ὡς ἀλώπεκες ἐν ταῖς ἐρήμοις (lxx) Eze 13:4 Quasi vulpes in desertis prophetæ tui, Israël, erant.(vulgate) Eze 13:4 O Israel, deine Propheten sind wie die Füchse in den Wüsten!(dhs) Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:5 ============ Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord.(nasb) Eze 13:5 οὐκ ἔστησαν ἐν στερεώματι καὶ συνήγαγον ποίμνια ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἀνέστησαν οἱ λέγοντες ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κυρίου (lxx) Eze 13:5 Non ascendistis ex adverso, neque opposuistis murum pro domo Israël, ut staretis in prælio in die Domini.(vulgate) Eze 13:5 Sie treten nicht vor die Lücken und machen sich nicht zur Hürde um das Haus Israel und stehen nicht im Streit am Tage des HERRN.(dhs) Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:6 ============ Eze 13:6 They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, 'The Lord declares, 'when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word.(nasb) Eze 13:6 βλέποντες ψευδῆ μαντευόμενοι μάταια οἱ λέγοντες λέγει κύριος καὶ κύριος οὐκ ἀπέσταλκεν αὐτούς καὶ ἤρξαντο τοῦ ἀναστῆσαι λόγον (lxx) Eze 13:6 Vident vana, et divinant mendacium, dicentes: Ait Dominus, cum Dominus non miserit eos: et perseveraverunt confirmare sermonem.(vulgate) Eze 13:6 Ihr Gesicht ist nichts, und ihr Weissagen ist eitel Lügen. Sie sprechen: "Der HERR hat's gesagt", so sie doch der HERR nicht gesandt hat, und warten, daß ihr Wort bestehe.(dhs) Eze 13:6 They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, 'Thus says the Lord!' But the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may be confirmed.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:7 ============ Eze 13:7 Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, 'The Lord declares, 'but it is not I who have spoken?"'"(nasb) Eze 13:7 οὐχ ὅρασιν ψευδῆ ἑωράκατε καὶ μαντείας ματαίας εἰρήκατε (lxx) Eze 13:7 Numquid non visionem cassam vidistis, et divinationem mendacem locuti estis, et dicitis: Ait Dominus, cum ego non sim locutus?(vulgate) Eze 13:7 Ist's nicht also, daß euer Gesicht ist nichts und euer Weissagen ist eitel Lügen? und ihr sprecht doch: "Der HERR hat's geredet", so ich's doch nicht geredet habe.(dhs) Eze 13:7 Have you not seen a futile vision, and have you not spoken false divination? You say, 'The Lord says,' but I have not spoken."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:8 ============ Eze 13:8 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you," declares the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:8 διὰ τοῦτο εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν οἱ λόγοι ὑμῶν ψευδεῖς καὶ αἱ μαντεῖαι ὑμῶν μάταιαι διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 13:8 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Quia locuti estis vana, et vidistis mendacium, ideo ecce ego ad vos, dicit Dominus Deus.(vulgate) Eze 13:8 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil ihr das predigt, woraus nichts wird, und Lügen weissagt, so will ich an euch, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 13:8 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you," says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:9 ============ Eze 13:9 "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:9 καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς ὁρῶντας ψευδῆ καὶ τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους μάταια ἐν παιδείᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ μου οὐκ ἔσονται οὐδὲ ἐν γραφῇ οἴκου Ισραηλ οὐ γραφήσονται καὶ εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσελεύσονται καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Eze 13:9 Et erit manus mea super prophetas qui vident vana, et divinant mendacium: in consilio populi mei non erunt, et in scriptura domus Israël non scribentur, nec in terram Israël ingredientur, et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus:(vulgate) Eze 13:9 Und meine Hand soll kommen über die Propheten, so das predigen, woraus nichts wird, und Lügen weissagen. Sie sollen in der Versammlung meines Volkes nicht sein und in der Zahl des Hauses Israel nicht geschrieben werden noch ins Land Israels kommen; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:10 ============ Eze 13:10 It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;(nasb) Eze 13:10 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τὸν λαόν μου ἐπλάνησαν λέγοντες εἰρήνη εἰρήνη καὶ οὐκ ἦν εἰρήνη καὶ οὗτος οἰκοδομεῖ τοῖχον καὶ αὐτοὶ ἀλείφουσιν αὐτόν εἰ πεσεῖται (lxx) Eze 13:10 eo quod deceperint populum meum, dicentes: Pax, et non est pax: et ipse ædificabat parietem, illi autem liniebant eum luto absque paleis.(vulgate) Eze 13:10 Darum daß sie mein Volk verführen und sagen: "Friede!", so doch kein Friede ist. Das Volk baut die Wand, so tünchen sie dieselbe mit losem Kalk.(dhs) Eze 13:10 Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace--and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar--(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:11 ============ Eze 13:11 so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out.(nasb) Eze 13:11 εἰπὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἀλείφοντας πεσεῖται καὶ ἔσται ὑετὸς κατακλύζων καὶ δώσω λίθους πετροβόλους εἰς τοὺς ἐνδέσμους αὐτῶν καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξαῖρον καὶ ῥαγήσεται (lxx) Eze 13:11 Dic ad eos qui liniunt absque temperatura, quod casurus sit: erit enim imber inundans, et dabo lapides prægrandes desuper irruentes, et ventum procellæ dissipantem.(vulgate) Eze 13:11 Sprich zu den Tünchern, die mit losem Kalk tünchen, daß es abfallen wird; denn es wird ein Platzregen kommen und werden große Hagel fallen und ein Windwirbel wird es zerreißen.(dhs) Eze 13:11 say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:12 ============ Eze 13:12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"(nasb) Eze 13:12 καὶ ἰδοὺ πέπτωκεν ὁ τοῖχος καὶ οὐκ ἐροῦσιν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ποῦ ἐστιν ἡ ἀλοιφὴ ὑμῶν ἣν ἠλείψατε (lxx) Eze 13:12 Siquidem ecce cecidit paries: numquid non dicetur vobis: Ubi est litura quam linistis?(vulgate) Eze 13:12 Siehe, so wird die Wand einfallen. Was gilt's? dann wird man zu euch sagen: Wo ist nun das getünchte, das ihr getüncht habt?(dhs) Eze 13:12 Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, 'Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:13 ============ Eze 13:13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.(nasb) Eze 13:13 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ῥήξω πνοὴν ἐξαίρουσαν μετὰ θυμοῦ καὶ ὑετὸς κατακλύζων ἐν ὀργῇ μου ἔσται καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς πετροβόλους ἐν θυμῷ ἐπάξω εἰς συντέλειαν (lxx) Eze 13:13 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Et erumpere faciam spiritum tempestatum in indignatione mea, et imber inundans in furore meo erit, et lapides grandes in ira in consumptionem.(vulgate) Eze 13:13 So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will einen Windwirbel reißen lassen in meinem Grimm und einen Platzregen in meinem Zorn und große Hagelsteine im Grimm, die sollen alles umstoßen.(dhs) Eze 13:13 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:14 ============ Eze 13:14 So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. And you will know that I am the Lord.(nasb) Eze 13:14 καὶ κατασκάψω τὸν τοῖχον ὃν ἠλείψατε καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ θήσω αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτοῦ καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ συντελεσθήσεσθε μετ᾽ ἐλέγχων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Eze 13:14 Et destruam parietem quem linistis absque temperamento, et adæquabo eum terræ, et revelabitur fundamentum ejus: et cadet, et consumetur in medio ejus, et scietis quia ego sum Dominus.(vulgate) Eze 13:14 Also will ich die Wand umwerfen; die ihr mit losem Kalk getüncht habt, und will sie zu Boden stoßen, daß man ihren Grund sehen soll; so fällt sie, und ihr sollt darin auch umkommen und erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.(dhs) Eze 13:14 So I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered; it will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:15 ============ Eze 13:15 Thus I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you, 'The wall is gone and its plasterers are gone,(nasb) Eze 13:15 καὶ συντελέσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν τοῖχον καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλείφοντας αὐτόν καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ εἶπα πρὸς ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ τοῖχος οὐδὲ οἱ ἀλείφοντες αὐτὸν (lxx) Eze 13:15 Et complebo indignationem meam in pariete, et in his qui liniunt eum absque temperamento: dicamque vobis: Non est paries, et non sunt qui liniunt eum:(vulgate) Eze 13:15 Also will ich meinen Grimm vollenden an der Wand und an denen, die sie mit losem Kalk tünchen, und will zu euch sagen: Hier ist weder Wand noch Tüncher.(dhs) Eze 13:15 Thus will I accomplish My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, 'The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:16 ============ Eze 13:16 along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,' declares the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:16 προφῆται τοῦ Ισραηλ οἱ προφητεύοντες ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οἱ ὁρῶντες αὐτῇ εἰρήνην καὶ εἰρήνη οὐκ ἔστιν λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 13:16 prophetæ Israël, qui prophetant ad Jerusalem, et vident ei visionem pacis, et non est pax, ait Dominus Deus.]~(vulgate) Eze 13:16 Das sind die Propheten Israels, die Jerusalem weissagen und predigen von Frieden, so doch kein Friede ist, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 13:16 that is, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,' " says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:17 ============ Eze 13:17 "Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their own inspiration. Prophesy against them(nasb) Eze 13:17 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τὰς θυγατέρας τοῦ λαοῦ σου τὰς προφητευούσας ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰς (lxx) Eze 13:17 Et tu, fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra filias populi tui quæ prophetant de corde suo: et vaticinare super eas,(vulgate) Eze 13:17 Und du, Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider die Töchter in deinem Volk, welche weissagen aus ihrem Herzen, und weissage wider sie(dhs) Eze 13:17 "Likewise, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy against them,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:18 ============ Eze 13:18 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all wrists and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature to hunt down lives! Will you hunt down the lives of My people, but preserve the lives of others for yourselves?(nasb) Eze 13:18 καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ ταῖς συρραπτούσαις προσκεφάλαια ἐπὶ πάντα ἀγκῶνα χειρὸς καὶ ποιούσαις ἐπιβόλαια ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κεφαλὴν πάσης ἡλικίας τοῦ διαστρέφειν ψυχάς αἱ ψυχαὶ διεστράφησαν τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ ψυχὰς περιεποιοῦντο (lxx) Eze 13:18 et dic: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Væ quæ consuunt pulvillos sub omni cubito manus, et faciunt cervicalia sub capite universæ ætatis ad capiendas animas: et cum caperent animas populi mei, vivificabant animas eorum!(vulgate) Eze 13:18 und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Wehe euch, die ihr Kissen macht den Leuten unter die Arme und Pfühle zu den Häuptern, beide, Jungen und Alten, die Seelen zu fangen. Wenn ihr nun die Seelen gefangen habt unter meinem Volk, verheißt ihr ihnen das Leben(dhs) Eze 13:18 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Woe to the women who sew magic charms on their sleeves and make veils for the heads of people of every height to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and keep yourselves alive?(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:19 ============ Eze 13:19 For handfuls of barley and fragments of bread, you have profaned Me to My people to put to death some who should not die and to keep others alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies."'"(nasb) Eze 13:19 καὶ ἐβεβήλουν με πρὸς τὸν λαόν μου ἕνεκεν δρακὸς κριθῶν καὶ ἕνεκεν κλασμάτων ἄρτου τοῦ ἀποκτεῖναι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ἀποθανεῖν καὶ τοῦ περιποιήσασθαι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ζῆσαι ἐν τῷ ἀποφθέγγεσθαι ὑμᾶς λαῷ εἰσακούοντι μάταια ἀποφθέγματα (lxx) Eze 13:19 Et violabant me ad populum meum propter pugillum hordei, et fragmen panis, ut interficerent animas quæ non moriuntur, et vivificarent animas quæ non vivunt, mentientes populo meo credenti mendaciis.(vulgate) Eze 13:19 und entheiligt mich in meinem Volk um eine Handvoll Gerste und einen Bissen Brot, damit daß ihr die Seelen zum Tode verurteilt, die doch nicht sollten sterben, und verurteilt zum Leben, die doch nicht leben sollten, durch eure Lügen unter meinem Volk, welches gerne Lügen hört.(dhs) Eze 13:19 And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:20 ============ Eze 13:20 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against your magic bands by which you hunt lives there as birds and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let them go, even those lives whom you hunt as birds.(nasb) Eze 13:20 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τὰ προσκεφάλαια ὑμῶν ἐφ᾽ ἃ ὑμεῖς συστρέφετε ἐκεῖ ψυχάς καὶ διαρρήξω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ τῶν βραχιόνων ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ τὰς ψυχάς ἃς ὑμεῖς ἐκστρέφετε τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν εἰς διασκορπισμόν (lxx) Eze 13:20 Propter hoc hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad pulvillos vestros, quibus vos capitis animas volantes: et dirumpam eos de brachiis vestris, et dimittam animas quas vos capitis, animas ad volandum.(vulgate) Eze 13:20 Darum spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an eure Kissen, womit ihr Seelen fangt und vertröstet, und will sie von euren Armen wegreißen und die Seelen, so ihr fangt und vertröstet, losmachen.(dhs) Eze 13:20 'Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:21 ============ Eze 13:21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people from your hands, and they will no longer be in your hands to be hunted; and you will know that I am the Lord.(nasb) Eze 13:21 καὶ διαρρήξω τὰ ἐπιβόλαια ὑμῶν καὶ ῥύσομαι τὸν λαόν μου ἐκ χειρὸς ὑμῶν καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἐν χερσὶν ὑμῶν εἰς συστροφήν καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Eze 13:21 Et dirumpam cervicalia vestra, et liberabo populum meum de manu vestra, neque erunt ultra in manibus vestris ad prædandum: et scietis quia ego Dominus.(vulgate) Eze 13:21 Und ich will eure Pfühle zerreißen und mein Volk aus eurer Hand erretten, daß ihr sie nicht mehr fangen sollt; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.(dhs) Eze 13:21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand.
