Today's Date: ======= Luke 10:1 ============ Luk 10:1 Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.(nasb) Luk 10:1 μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα ἀνέδειξεν ὁ κύριος ἑτέρους ἑβδομήκοντα [δύο], καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἀνὰ δύο [δύο] πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ εἰς πᾶσαν πόλιν καὶ τόπον οὖ ἤμελλεν αὐτὸς ἔρχεσθαι.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:1 Post hæc autem designavit Dominus et alios septuaginta duos: et misit illos binos ante faciem suam in omnem civitatem et locum, quo erat ipse venturus.(vulgate) Luk 10:1 Darnach sonderte der HERR andere siebzig aus und sandte sie je zwei und zwei vor ihm her in alle Städte und Orte, da er wollte hinkommen,(dhs) Luk 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:2 ============ Luk 10:2 And He was saying to them," The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.(nasb) Luk 10:2 ἔλεγεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς, ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς, οἱ δὲ ἐργάται ὀλίγοι· δεήθητε οὗν τοῦ κυρίου τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὅπως ἐργάτας ἐκβάλῃ εἰς τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:2 Et dicebat illis: Messis quidem multa, operarii autem pauci. Rogate ergo dominum messis ut mittat operarios in messem suam.(vulgate) Luk 10:2 und sprach zu ihnen: Die Ernte ist groß, der Arbeiter aber sind wenige. Bittet den HERRN der Ernte, daß er Arbeiter aussende in seine Ernte.(dhs) Luk 10:2 Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:3 ============ Luk 10:3 Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.(nasb) Luk 10:3 ὑπάγετε· ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω ὑμᾶς ὡς ἄρνας ἐν μέσῳ λύκων.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:3 Ite: ecce ego mitto vos sicut agnos inter lupos.(vulgate) Luk 10:3 Gehet hin; siehe, ich sende euch als die Lämmer mitten unter die Wölfe.(dhs) Luk 10:3 Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:4 ============ Luk 10:4 Carry no money belt, no bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way.(nasb) Luk 10:4 μὴ βαστάζετε βαλλάντιον, μὴ πήραν, μὴ ὑποδήματα, καὶ μηδένα κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν ἀσπάσησθε.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:4 Nolite portare sacculum, neque peram, neque calceamenta, et neminem per viam salutaveritis.(vulgate) Luk 10:4 Tragt keinen Beutel noch Tasche noch Schuhe und grüßet niemand auf der Straße.(dhs) Luk 10:4 Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:5 ============ Luk 10:5 Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.'(nasb) Luk 10:5 εἰς ἣν δ᾽ ἂν εἰσέλθητε οἰκίαν, πρῶτον λέγετε, εἰρήνη τῶ οἴκῳ τούτῳ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:5 In quamcumque domum intraveritis, primum dicite: Pax huic domui:(vulgate) Luk 10:5 Wo ihr in ein Haus kommt, da sprecht zuerst: Friede sei in diesem Hause!(dhs) Luk 10:5 But whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace to this house.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:6 ============ Luk 10:6 If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.(nasb) Luk 10:6 καὶ ἐὰν ἐκεῖ ᾖ υἱὸς εἰρήνης, ἐπαναπαήσεται ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἡ εἰρήνη ὑμῶν· εἰ δὲ μή γε, ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἀνακάμψει.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:6 et si ibi fuerit filius pacis, requiescet super illum pax vestra: sin autem, ad vos revertetur.(vulgate) Luk 10:6 Und so daselbst wird ein Kind des Friedens sein, so wird euer Friede auf ihm beruhen; wo aber nicht, so wird sich euer Friede wieder zu euch wenden.(dhs) Luk 10:6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:7 ============ Luk 10:7 Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.(nasb) Luk 10:7 ἐν αὐτῇ δὲ τῇ οἰκίᾳ μένετε, ἐσθίοντες καὶ πίνοντες τὰ παρ᾽ αὐτῶν, ἄξιος γὰρ ὁ ἐργάτης τοῦ μισθοῦ αὐτοῦ. μὴ μεταβαίνετε ἐξ οἰκίας εἰς οἰκίαν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:7 In eadem autem domo manete, edentes et bibentes quæ apud illos sunt: dignus est enim operarius mercede sua. Nolite transire de domo in domum.(vulgate) Luk 10:7 In dem Hause aber bleibet, esset und trinket, was sie haben; denn ein Arbeiter ist seines Lohnes wert. Ihr sollt nicht von einem Hause zum anderen gehen.(dhs) Luk 10:7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:8 ============ Luk 10:8 Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you;(nasb) Luk 10:8 καὶ εἰς ἣν ἂν πόλιν εἰσέρχησθε καὶ δέχωνται ὑμᾶς, ἐσθίετε τὰ παρατιθέμενα ὑμῖν,(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:8 Et in quamcumque civitatem intraveritis, et susceperint vos, manducate quæ apponuntur vobis:(vulgate) Luk 10:8 Und wo ihr in eine Stadt kommt und sie euch aufnehmen, da esset, was euch wird vorgetragen;(dhs) Luk 10:8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:9 ============ Luk 10:9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'(nasb) Luk 10:9 καὶ θεραπεύετε τοὺς ἐν αὐτῇ ἀσθενεῖς, καὶ λέγετε αὐτοῖς, ἤγγικεν ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:9 et curate infirmos, qui in illa sunt, et dicite illis: Appropinquavit in vos regnum Dei.(vulgate) Luk 10:9 und heilet die Kranken, die daselbst sind, und saget ihnen: Das Reich Gottes ist nahe zu euch gekommen.(dhs) Luk 10:9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:10 ============ Luk 10:10 But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,(nasb) Luk 10:10 εἰς ἣν δ᾽ ἂν πόλιν εἰσέλθητε καὶ μὴ δέχωνται ὑμᾶς, ἐξελθόντες εἰς τὰς πλατείας αὐτῆς εἴπατε,(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:10 In quamcumque autem civitatem intraveritis, et non susceperint vos, exeuntes in plateas ejus, dicite:(vulgate) Luk 10:10 Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt kommt, da sie euch nicht aufnehmen, da geht heraus auf ihre Gassen und sprecht:(dhs) Luk 10:10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:11 ============ Luk 10:11 'Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.'(nasb) Luk 10:11 καὶ τὸν κονιορτὸν τὸν κολληθέντα ἡμῖν ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ὑμῶν εἰς τοὺς πόδας ἀπομασσόμεθα ὑμῖν· πλὴν τοῦτο γινώσκετε ὅτι ἤγγικεν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:11 Etiam pulverem, qui adhæsit nobis de civitate vestra, extergimus in vos: tamen hoc scitote, quia appropinquavit regnum Dei.(vulgate) Luk 10:11 Auch den Staub, der sich an uns gehängt hat von eurer Stadt, schlagen wir ab auf euch; doch sollt ihr wissen, daß euch das Reich Gottes nahe gewesen ist.(dhs) Luk 10:11 'The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:12 ============ Luk 10:12 I say to you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.(nasb) Luk 10:12 λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι σοδόμοις ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἢ τῇ πόλει ἐκείνῃ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:12 Dico vobis, quia Sodomis in die illa remissius erit, quam illi civitati.~(vulgate) Luk 10:12 Ich sage euch: Es wird Sodom erträglicher gehen an jenem Tage denn solcher Stadt.(dhs) Luk 10:12 But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:13 ============ Luk 10:13 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.(nasb) Luk 10:13 οὐαί σοι, χοραζίν· οὐαί σοι, βηθσαϊδά· ὅτι εἰ ἐν τύρῳ καὶ σιδῶνι ἐγενήθησαν αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν ὑμῖν, πάλαι ἂν ἐν σάκκῳ καὶ σποδῶ καθήμενοι μετενόησαν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:13 Væ tibi Corozain! væ tibi Bethsaida! quia si in Tyro et Sidone factæ fuissent virtutes quæ factæ sunt in vobis, olim in cilicio et cinere sedentes pœniterent.(vulgate) Luk 10:13 Weh dir Chorazin! Weh dir Bethsaida! Denn wären solche Taten zu Tyrus oder Sidon geschehen, die bei euch geschehen sind, sie hätten vorzeiten im Sack und in der Asche gesessen und Buße getan.(dhs) Luk 10:13 "Woe to you, Chorazin! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:14 ============ Luk 10:14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.(nasb) Luk 10:14 πλὴν τύρῳ καὶ σιδῶνι ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἐν τῇ κρίσει ἢ ὑμῖν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:14 Verumtamen Tyro et Sidoni remissius erit in judicio, quam vobis.(vulgate) Luk 10:14 Doch es wird Tyrus und Sidon erträglicher gehen im Gericht als euch.(dhs) Luk 10:14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:15 ============ Luk 10:15 And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!(nasb) Luk 10:15 καὶ σύ, καφαρναούμ, μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ; ἕως τοῦ ᾅδου καταβήσῃ.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:15 Et tu Capharnaum, usque ad cælum exaltata, usque ad infernum demergeris.(vulgate) Luk 10:15 Und du, Kapernaum, die du bis an den Himmel erhoben bist, du wirst in die Hölle hinunter gestoßen werden.(dhs) Luk 10:15 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.(nkjv) ======= Luke 10:16 ============ Luk 10:16 "The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me."(nasb) Luk 10:16 ὁ ἀκούων ὑμῶν ἐμοῦ ἀκούει, καὶ ὁ ἀθετῶν ὑμᾶς ἐμὲ ἀθετεῖ· ὁ δὲ ἐμὲ ἀθετῶν ἀθετεῖ τὸν ἀποστείλαντά με.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 10:16 Qui vos audit, me audit: et qui vos spernit, me spernit. Ja, Vater, also war es wohlgefällig vor dir.(dhs) Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes.
