Denn ihr wisset, daß wir dazu gesetzt sind;(dhs) 1Th 3:3 that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.(nkjv) ======= 1 Thessalonians 3:4 ============ 1Th 3:4 For indeed when we were with you, we kept telling you in advance that we were going to suffer affliction; and so it came to pass, as you know.(nasb) 1Th 3:4 καὶ γὰρ ὅτε πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἦμεν, προελέγομεν ὑμῖν ὅτι μέλλομεν θλίβεσθαι, καθὼς καὶ ἐγένετο καὶ οἴδατε.(Nestle-Aland) 1Th 3:4 Nam et cum apud vos essemus, prædicebamus vobis passuros nos tribulationes, sicut et factum est, et also sent to find out about your faith, for fear that the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor would be in vain.(nasb) 1Th 3:5 διὰ τοῦτο κἀγὼ μηκέτι στέγων ἔπεμψα εἰς τὸ γνῶναι τὴν πίστιν ὑμῶν, μή πως ἐπείρασεν ὑμᾶς ὁ πειράζων καὶ εἰς κενὸν γένηται ὁ κόπος ἡμῶν.(Nestle-Aland) 1Th 3:5 Propterea et ego amplius non sustinens, misi ad cognoscendam fidem vestram: ne forte tentaverit vos is kindly of us, longing to see us just as we also long to see you,(nasb) 1Th 3:6 ἄρτι δὲ ἐλθόντος τιμοθέου πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν καὶ εὐαγγελισαμένου ἡμῖν τὴν πίστιν καὶ τὴν ἀγάπην ὑμῶν, καὶ ὅτι ἔχετε μνείαν ἡμῶν ἀγαθὴν πάντοτε, ἐπιποθοῦντες ἡμᾶς ἰδεῖν καθάπερ καὶ ἡμεῖς ὑμᾶς,(Nestle-Aland) 1Th 3:6 Nunc autem veniente Timotheo ad nos a vobis, et annuntiante nobis fidem et caritatem vestram, et quia memoriam nostri habetis bonam semper, desiderantes nos videre, sicut et nos quoque vos:(vulgate) 1Th 3:6 Nun aber, da Timotheus zu uns von euch gekommen ist und uns verkündigt hat euren Glauben und see your face, and may complete what is lacking in your faith?(nasb) 1Th 3:10 νυκτὸς καὶ ἡμέρας ὑπερεκπερισσοῦ δεόμενοι εἰς τὸ ἰδεῖν ὑμῶν τὸ πρόσωπον καὶ καταρτίσαι τὰ ὑστερήματα τῆς πίστεως ὑμῶν;(Nestle-Aland) 1Th 3:10 nocte ac die abundantius orantes, ut videamus faciem vestram, et compleamus ea quæ desunt fidei vestræ?(vulgate) 1Th 3:10 Wir bitten Tag und Nacht gar sehr, daß wir sehen περισσεύσαι τῇ ἀγάπῃ εἰς ἀλλήλους καὶ εἰς πάντας, καθάπερ καὶ ἡμεῖς εἰς ὑμᾶς,(Nestle-Aland) 1Th 3:12 Vos autem Dominus multiplicet, et abundare faciat caritatem vestram in invicem, et in omnes, quemadmodum et nos in vobis:(vulgate) 1Th 3:12 Euch aber vermehre der HERR und lasse die Liebe völlig werden untereinander und gegen jedermann (wie denn auch wir sind gegen euch),(dhs) 1Th 3:12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,(nkjv) ======= 1 Thessalonians 3:13 ============ 1Th 3:13 so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.(nasb) 1Th 3:13 εἰς τὸ στηρίξαι ὑμῶν τὰς καρδίας ἀμέμπτους ἐν ἁγιωσύνῃ ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ πατρὸς ἡμῶν ἐν τῇ παρουσίᾳ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ μετὰ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων αὐτοῦ.
