Today's Date: ======= Exodus 32:1 ============ Exo 32:1 Now when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people assembled about Aaron and said to him, "Come, make us a god who will go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him."(nasb) Exo 32:1 Videns autem populus quod moram faceret descendendi de monte Moyses, congregatus adversus Aaron, dixit: Surge, fac nobis deos, qui nos præcedant: Moysi enim huic viro, qui nos eduxit de terra Ægypti, ignoramus quid acciderit.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:1 Mas viendo el pueblo que Moisés tardaba en descender del monte, se acercó entonces a Aarón, y le dijeron: Levántate, haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque a este Moisés, el varón que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido.(E) Exode 32:1 Le peuple, voyant que Moïse tardait à descendre de la montagne, s'assembla autour d'Aaron, et lui dit: Allons! fais-nous un dieu qui marche devant nous, car ce Moïse, cet homme qui nous a fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, nous ne savons ce qu'il est devenu.(F) Exo 32:1 Da aber das Volk sah, daß Mose verzog, von dem Berge zu kommen, sammelte sich's wider Aaron und sprach zu ihm: Auf, mache uns Götter, die vor uns her gehen! Denn wir wissen nicht, was diesem Mann Mose widerfahren ist, der uns aus Ägyptenland geführt hat.(D) Exo 32:1 καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ λαὸς ὅτι κεχρόνικεν Μωυσῆς καταβῆναι ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους συνέστη ὁ λαὸς ἐπὶ Ααρων καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ ἀνάστηθι καὶ ποίησον ἡμῖν θεούς οἳ προπορεύσονται ἡμῶν ὁ γὰρ Μωυσῆς οὗτος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐξήγαγεν ἡμᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου οὐκ οἴδαμεν τί γέγονεν αὐτῷ(lxx) Exo 32:1 Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, "Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:2 ============ Exo 32:2 Aaron said to them, "Tear off the gold rings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me."(nasb) Exo 32:2 Dixitque ad eos Aaron: Tollite inaures aureas de uxorum, filiorumque et filiarum vestrarum auribus, et afferte ad me.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:2 Y Aarón les dijo: Apartad los zarcillos de oro que están en las orejas de vuestras esposas, y de vuestros hijos y de vuestras hijas, y traédmelos.(E) Exode 32:2 Aaron leur dit: Otez les anneaux d'or qui sont aux oreilles de vos femmes, de vos fils et de vos filles, et apportez-les-moi.(F) Exo 32:2 Aaron sprach zu ihnen: Reißt ab die goldenen Ohrenringe an den Ohren eurer Weiber, eurer Söhne und eurer Töchter und bringet sie zu mir.(D) Exo 32:2 καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Ααρων περιέλεσθε τὰ ἐνώτια τὰ χρυσᾶ τὰ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν τῶν γυναικῶν ὑμῶν καὶ θυγατέρων καὶ ἐνέγκατε πρός με(lxx) Exo 32:2 And Aaron said to them, "Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:3 ============ Exo 32:3 Then all the people tore off the gold rings which were in their ears and brought them to Aaron.(nasb) Exo 32:3 Fecitque populus quæ jusserat, deferens inaures ad Aaron.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:3 Entonces todo el pueblo apartó los zarcillos de oro que tenían en sus orejas, y los trajeron a Aarón:(E) Exode 32:3 Et tous ôtèrent les anneaux d'or qui étaient à leurs oreilles, et ils les apportèrent à Aaron.(F) Exo 32:3 Da riß alles Volk seine goldenen Ohrenringe von ihren Ohren, und brachten sie zu Aaron.(D) Exo 32:3 καὶ περιείλαντο πᾶς ὁ λαὸς τὰ ἐνώτια τὰ χρυσᾶ τὰ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἤνεγκαν πρὸς Ααρων(lxx) Exo 32:3 So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:4 ============ Exo 32:4 He took this from their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool and made it into a molten calf; and they said, "This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt."(nasb) Exo 32:4 Quas cum ille accepisset, formavit opere fusorio, et fecit ex eis vitulum conflatilem: dixeruntque: Hi sunt dii tui Israël, qui te eduxerunt de terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:4 El cual los tomó de las manos de ellos, y le dio forma con buril, e hizo de ello un becerro de fundición. Entonces dijeron: Israel, éstos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto.(E) Exode 32:4 Il les reçut de leurs mains, jeta l'or dans un moule, et fit un veau en fonte. Et ils dirent: Israël! voici ton dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Egypte.(F) Exo 32:4 Und er nahm sie von ihren Händen und entwarf's mit einem Griffel und machte ein gegossenes Kalb. Und sie sprachen: Das sind deine Götter, Israel, die dich aus Ägyptenland geführt haben!(D) Exo 32:4 καὶ ἐδέξατο ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔπλασεν αὐτὰ ἐν τῇ γραφίδι καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὰ μόσχον χωνευτὸν καὶ εἶπεν οὗτοι οἱ θεοί σου Ισραηλ οἵτινες ἀνεβίβασάν σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Exo 32:4 And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, "This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!"(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:5 ============ Exo 32:5 Now when Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation and said, "Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord."(nasb) Exo 32:5 Quod cum vidisset Aaron, ædificavit altare coram eo, et præconis voce clamavit dicens: Cras solemnitas Domini est.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:5 Y viendo esto Aarón, edificó un altar delante del becerro; y pregonó Aarón, y dijo: Mañana será fiesta a Jehová.(E) Exode 32:5 Lorsqu'Aaron vit cela, il bâtit un autel devant lui, et il s'écria: Demain, il y aura fête en l'honneur de l'Eternel!(F) Exo 32:5 Da das Aaron sah, baute er einen Altar vor ihm und ließ ausrufen und sprach: Morgen ist des HERRN Fest.(D) Exo 32:5 καὶ ἰδὼν Ααρων ᾠκοδόμησεν θυσιαστήριον κατέναντι αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκήρυξεν Ααρων λέγων ἑορτὴ τοῦ κυρίου αὔριον(lxx) Exo 32:5 So when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. Darnach setzte sich das Volk, zu essen und zu trinken, und standen auf zu spielen.(D) Exo 32:6 καὶ ὀρθρίσας τῇ ἐπαύριον ἀνεβίβασεν ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ προσήνεγκεν θυσίαν σωτηρίου καὶ ἐκάθισεν ὁ λαὸς φαγεῖν καὶ πιεῖν καὶ ἀνέστησαν παίζειν(lxx) Exo 32:6 Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:7 ============ Exo 32:7 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, "Go down at once, for your people, whom you brought up from the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.(nasb) Exo 32:7 Locutus est autem Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: Vade, descende: peccavit populus tuus, quem eduxisti de terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:7 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Anda, desciende, porque tu pueblo que sacaste de tierra de Egipto se ha corrompido.(E) Exode 32:7 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Va, descends; car ton peuple, que tu as fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, s'est corrompu.(F) Exo 32:7 Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose: Gehe, steig hinab; denn dein Volk, das du aus Ägyptenland geführt hast, hat's verderbt.(D) Exo 32:7 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων βάδιζε τὸ τάχος ἐντεῦθεν κατάβηθι ἠνόμησεν γὰρ ὁ λαός σου οὓς ἐξήγαγες ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Exo 32:7 And the Lord said to Moses, "Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:8 ============ Exo 32:8 They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them. They have made for themselves a molten calf, and have worshiped it and have sacrificed to it and said, 'This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt!'"(nasb) Exo 32:8 Recesserunt cito de via, quam ostendisti eis: feceruntque sibi vitulum conflatilem, et adoraverunt, atque immolantes ei hostias, dixerunt: Isti sunt dii tui Israël, qui te eduxerunt de terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:8 Pronto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé, y se han hecho un becerro de fundición, y lo han adorado, y han sacrificado a él, y han dicho: Israel, estos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto.(E) Exode 32:8 Ils se sont promptement écartés de la voie que je leur avais prescrite; ils se sont fait un veau en fonte, ils se sont prosternés devant lui, ils lui ont offert des sacrifices, et ils ont dit: Israël! voici ton dieu, qui t'a fait sortir du pays d'Egypte.(F) Exo 32:8 Sie sind schnell von dem Wege getreten, den ich ihnen geboten habe. Sie haben sich ein gegossenes Kalb gemacht und haben's angebetet und ihm geopfert und gesagt: Das sind deine Götter, Israel, die dich aus Ägyptenland geführt haben.(D) Exo 32:8 παρέβησαν ταχὺ ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἧς ἐνετείλω αὐτοῖς ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς μόσχον καὶ προσκεκυνήκασιν αὐτῷ καὶ τεθύκασιν αὐτῷ καὶ εἶπαν οὗτοι οἱ θεοί σου Ισραηλ οἵτινες ἀνεβίβασάν σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, 'This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!' "(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:9 ============ Exo 32:9 The Lord said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people.(nasb) Exo 32:9 Rursumque ait Dominus ad Moysen: Cerno quod populus iste duræ cervicis sit:(vulgate) Éxodo 32:9 Dijo más Jehová a Moisés: Yo he visto a este pueblo, que por cierto es pueblo de dura cerviz:(E) Exode 32:9 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Je vois que ce peuple est un peuple au cou roide.(F) Exo 32:9 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Ich sehe, daß es ein halsstarriges Volk ist.(D) Exo 32:9 --(lxx) Exo 32:9 And the Lord said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:10 ============ Exo 32:10 Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation."(nasb) Exo 32:10 dimitte me, ut irascatur furor meus contra eos, et deleam eos, faciamque te in gentem magnam.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:10 Ahora pues, déjame que se encienda mi furor contra ellos, y los consuma: y a ti yo te pondré sobre gran gente.(E) Exode 32:10 Maintenant laisse-moi; ma colère va s'enflammer contre eux, et je les consumerai; mais je ferai de toi une grande nation.(F) Exo 32:10 Und nun laß mich, daß mein Zorn über sie ergrimme und sie vertilge; so will ich dich zum großen Volk machen.(D) Exo 32:10 καὶ νῦν ἔασόν με καὶ θυμωθεὶς ὀργῇ εἰς αὐτοὺς ἐκτρίψω αὐτοὺς καὶ ποιήσω σὲ εἰς ἔθνος μέγα(lxx) Exo 32:10 Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:11 ============ Exo 32:11 Then Moses entreated the Lord his God, and said, "O Lord, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?(nasb) Exo 32:11 Moyses autem orabat Dominum Deum suum, dicens: Cur, Domine, irascitur furor tuus contra populum tuum, quem eduxisti de terra Ægypti, in fortitudine magna, et in manu robusta?(vulgate) Éxodo 32:11 Entonces Moisés oró a la faz de Jehová su Dios, y dijo: Oh Jehová, ¿por qué se encenderá tu furor contra tu pueblo, que tú sacaste de la tierra de Egipto con gran fortaleza, y con mano fuerte?(E) Exode 32:11 Moïse implora l'Eternel, son Dieu, et dit: Pourquoi, ô Eternel! ta colère s'enflammerait-elle contre ton peuple, que tu as fait sortir du pays d'Egypte par une grande puissance et par une main forte?(F) Exo 32:11 Mose aber flehte vor dem HERRN, seinem Gott, und sprach: Ach HERR, warum will dein Zorn ergrimmen über dein Volk, das du mit großer Kraft und starker Hand hast aus Ägyptenland geführt?(D) Exo 32:11 καὶ ἐδεήθη Μωυσῆς ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ εἶπεν ἵνα τί κύριε θυμοῖ ὀργῇ εἰς τὸν λαόν σου οὓς ἐξήγαγες ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐν ἰσχύι μεγάλῃ καὶ ἐν τῷ βραχίονί σου τῷ ὑψηλῷ(lxx) Exo 32:11 Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said: "Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:12 ============ Exo 32:12 Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, 'With evil intent He brought them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth'? Turn from Your burning anger and change Your mind about doing harm to Your people.(nasb) Exo 32:12 Ne quæso dicant Ægyptii: Callide eduxit eos, ut interficeret in montibus, et deleret e terra: quiescat ira tua, et esto placabilis super nequitia populi tui.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:12 ¿Por qué han de hablar los egipcios, diciendo: Para mal los sacó, para matarlos en los montes, y para raerlos de sobre la faz de la tierra? Vuélvete del furor de tu ira, y arrepiéntete de este mal contra tu pueblo.(E) Exode 32:12 Pourquoi les Egyptiens diraient-ils: C'est pour leur malheur qu'il les a fait sortir, c'est pour les tuer dans les montagnes, et pour les exterminer de dessus la terre? Reviens de l'ardeur de ta colère, et repens-toi du mal que tu veux faire à ton peuple.(F) Exo 32:12 Warum sollen die Ägypter sagen und sprechen: Er hat sie zu ihrem Unglück ausgeführt, daß er sie erwürgte im Gebirge und vertilgte vom Erdboden? Kehre dich von dem Grimm deines Zornes und laß dich gereuen des Übels über dein Volk.(D) Exo 32:12 μήποτε εἴπωσιν οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι λέγοντες μετὰ πονηρίας ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἀποκτεῖναι ἐν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ ἐξαναλῶσαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς παῦσαι τῆς ὀργῆς τοῦ θυμοῦ σου καὶ ἵλεως γενοῦ ἐπὶ τῇ κακίᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ σου(lxx) Exo 32:12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, 'He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth'? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:13 ============ Exo 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants to whom You swore by Yourself, and said to them, 'I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens, and all this land of which I have spoken I will give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'"(nasb) Exo 32:13 Recordare Abraham, Isaac, et Israël servorum tuorum, quibus jurasti per temetipsum, dicens: Multiplicabo semen vestrum sicut stellas cæli; et universam terram hanc, de qua locutus sum, dabo semini vestro, et possidebitis eam semper.(vulgate) Éxodo 32:13 Acuérdate de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel tus siervos, a los cuales has jurado por ti mismo, y les has dicho: Yo multiplicaré vuestra simiente como las estrellas del cielo; y daré a vuestra simiente toda esta tierra que he dicho, y la tomarán por heredad para siempre.(E) Exode 32:13 Souviens-toi d'Abraham, d'Isaac et d'Israël, tes serviteurs, auxquels tu as dit, en jurant par toi-même: Je multiplierai votre postérité comme les étoiles du ciel, je donnerai à vos descendants tout ce pays dont j'ai parlé, et ils le posséderont à jamais.(F) Exo 32:13 Gedenke an deine Diener Abraham, Isaak und Israel, denen du bei dir selbst geschworen und verheißen hast: Ich will euren Samen mehren wie die Sterne am Himmel, und alles Land, das ich euch verheißen habe, will ich eurem Samen geben, und sie sollen's besitzen ewiglich.(D) Exo 32:13 μνησθεὶς Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ τῶν σῶν οἰκετῶν οἷς ὤμοσας κατὰ σεαυτοῦ καὶ ἐλάλησας πρὸς αὐτοὺς λέγων πολυπληθυνῶ τὸ σπέρμα ὑμῶν ὡσεὶ τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῷ πλήθει καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ταύτην ἣν εἶπας δοῦναι τῷ σπέρματι αὐτῶν καὶ καθέξουσιν αὐτὴν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα(lxx) Exo 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, 'I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.' "(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:14 ============ Exo 32:14 So the Lord changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people.(nasb) Exo 32:14 Placatusque est Dominus ne faceret malum quod locutus fuerat adversus populum suum.~(vulgate) Éxodo 32:14 Entonces Jehová se arrepintió del mal que dijo que había de hacer a su pueblo.(E) Exode 32:14 Et l'Eternel se repentit du mal qu'il avait déclaré vouloir faire à son peuple.(F) Exo 32:14 Also gereute den HERRN das Übel, das er drohte seinem Volk zu tun.(D) Exo 32:14 καὶ ἱλάσθη κύριος περὶ τῆς κακίας ἧς εἶπεν ποιῆσαι τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Exo 32:14 So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 32:15 ============ Exo 32:15 Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets which were written on both sides; they were written on one side and the other.(nasb) Exo 32:15 Et reversus est Moyses de monte, portans duas tabulas testimonii in manu sua, scriptas ex utraque parte,(vulgate) Éxodo 32:15 Y se volvió Moisés, y descendió del monte trayendo en su mano las dos tablas del testimonio, las tablas escritas por ambos lados; de uno y otro lado estaban escritas.(E) Exode 32:15 Moïse retourna et descendit de la montagne, les deux tables du témoignage dans sa main; les tables étaient écrites des deux côtés, elles étaient écrites de l'un et de l'autre côté.(F) Exo 32:15 Mose wandte sich und stieg vom Berge und hatte zwei Tafeln des Zeugnisses in seiner Hand, die waren beschrieben auf beiden Seiten.(D) Exo 32:15 καὶ ἀποστρέψας Μωυσῆς κατέβη ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ πλάκες λίθιναι καταγεγραμμέναι ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν μερῶν αὐτῶν ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν ἦσαν γεγραμμέναι(lxx) Exo 32:15 And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hand. And all the sons of Levi gathered together to him.(nasb) Exo 32:26 et stans in porta castrorum, ait: Si quis est Domini, jungatur mihi.
