He has shed blood and that man shall be cut off from among his people.(nasb) Lev 17:4 et non obtulerit ad ostium tabernaculi oblationem Domino, sanguinis reus erit: quasi si sanguinem fuderit, sic peribit de medio populi sui.(vulgate) Levítico 17:4 y no lo trajere a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación, para ofrecer ofrenda a Jehová delante del tabernáculo de Jehová, sangre será imputada al tal varón: sangre derramó; cortado será el tal varón de entre su pueblo;(E) Lévitique 17:4 et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour en faire une offrande à l'Eternel devant le tabernacle de l'Eternel, le sang sera imputé à cet homme; il a répandu le sang, cet homme-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.(F) Lev 17:4 und es nicht vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts bringt, daß es dem HERRN zum Opfer gebracht werde vor der Wohnung des HERRN, der soll des Blutes schuldig sein als der Blut vergossen hat, und solcher Mensch soll ausgerottet werden aus seinem Volk.(D) Lev 17:4 καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκῃ ὥστε ποιῆσαι αὐτὸ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ σωτήριον κυρίῳ δεκτὸν εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας καὶ ὃς ἂν σφάξῃ ἔξω καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκῃ αὐτὸ ὥστε μὴ προσενέγκαι δῶρον κυρίῳ ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς κυρίου καὶ λογισθήσεται τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐκείνῳ αἷμα αἷμα ἐξέχεεν ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς(lxx) Lev 17:4 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting to offer an offering to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord, the guilt of bloodshed shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:5 ============ Lev 17:5 The reason is so that the sons of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they were sacrificing in the open field, that they may bring them in to the Lord, at the doorway of the tent of meeting to the priest, and sacrifice them as sacrifices of peace offerings to the Lord.(nasb) Lev 17:5 Ideo sacerdoti offerre debent filii Israël hostias suas, quas occident in agro, ut sanctificentur Domino ante ostium tabernaculi testimonii, et immolent eas hostias pacificas Domino.(vulgate) Levítico 17:5 a fin de que traigan los hijos de Israel sus sacrificios, los que sacrifican sobre la faz del campo, para que los traigan a Jehová a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación al sacerdote, y sacrifiquen ellos sacrificios de paz a Jehová.(E) Lévitique 17:5 C'est afin que les enfants d'Israël, au lieu de sacrifier leurs victimes dans les champs, les amènent au sacrificateur, devant l'Eternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, et qu'ils les offrent à l'Eternel en sacrifices d'actions de grâces.(F) Lev 17:5 Darum sollen die Kinder Israel ihre Schlachttiere, die sie auf dem freien Feld schlachten wollen, vor den HERRN bringen vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts zum Priester und allda ihre Dankopfer dem HERRN opfern.(D) Lev 17:5 ὅπως ἀναφέρωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὰς θυσίας αὐτῶν ὅσας ἂν αὐτοὶ σφάξουσιν ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις καὶ οἴσουσιν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα καὶ θύσουσιν θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτά(lxx) Lev 17:5 to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they offer in the open field, that they may bring them to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to the priest, and offer them as peace offerings to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:6 ============ Lev 17:6 The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and offer up the fat in smoke as a soothing aroma to the Lord.(nasb) Lev 17:6 Fundetque sacerdos sanguinem super altare Domini ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii, et adolebit adipem in odorem suavitatis Domino:(vulgate) Levítico 17:6 Y el sacerdote esparcirá la sangre sobre el altar de Jehová, a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación, y quemará la grosura en olor grato a Jehová.(E) Lévitique 17:6 Le sacrificateur en répandra le sang sur l'autel de l'Eternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation; et il brûlera la graisse, qui sera d'une agréable odeur à l'Eternel.(F) Lev 17:6 Und der Priester soll das Blut auf den Altar des HERRN sprengen vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts und das Fett anzünden zum süßen Geruch dem HERRN.(D) Lev 17:6 καὶ προσχεεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ αἷμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ ἀπέναντι κυρίου παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἀνοίσει τὸ στέαρ εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ(lxx) Lev 17:6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and burn the fat for a sweet aroma to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:7 ============ Lev 17:7 They shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations."'(nasb) Lev 17:7 et nequaquam ultra immolabunt hostias suas dæmonibus, cum quibus fornicati sunt. Legitimum sempiternum erit illis et posteris eorum.(vulgate) Levítico 17:7 Y nunca más sacrificarán sus sacrificios a los demonios, tras de los cuales han fornicado: tendrán esto por estatuto perpetuo por sus generaciones.(E) Lévitique 17:7 Ils n'offriront plus leurs sacrifices aux boucs, avec lesquels ils se prostituent. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour eux et pour leurs descendants.(F) Lev 17:7 Und mitnichten sollen sie ihre Opfer hinfort den Feldteufeln opfern, mit denen sie Abgötterei treiben. Das soll ihnen ein ewiges Recht sein bei ihren Nachkommen.(D) Lev 17:7 καὶ οὐ θύσουσιν ἔτι τὰς θυσίας αὐτῶν τοῖς ματαίοις οἷς αὐτοὶ ἐκπορνεύουσιν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν(lxx) Lev 17:7 They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations." '(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:8 ============ Lev 17:8 "Then you shall say to them, 'Any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,(nasb) Lev 17:8 Et ad ipsos dices: Homo de domo Israël, et de advenis qui peregrinantur apud vos, qui obtulerit holocaustum sive victimam,(vulgate) Levítico 17:8 Les dirás también: Cualquier varón de la casa de Israel, o de los extranjeros que peregrinan entre vosotros, que ofreciere holocausto o sacrificio,(E) Lévitique 17:8 Tu leur diras donc: Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux offre un holocauste ou une victime,(F) Lev 17:8 Darum sollst du zu ihnen sagen: Welcher Mensch aus dem Hause Israel oder auch ein Fremdling, der unter euch ist, ein Opfer oder Brandopfer tut(D) Lev 17:8 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν προσηλύτων τῶν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμῖν ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ θυσίαν(lxx) Lev 17:8 Also you shall say to them: 'Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:9 ============ Lev 17:9 and does not bring it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to offer it to the Lord, that man also shall be cut off from his people.(nasb) Lev 17:9 et ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii non adduxerit eam, ut offeratur Domino, interibit de populo suo.~(vulgate) Levítico 17:9 y no lo trajere a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación, para hacerlo a Jehová, el tal varón será igualmente cortado de su pueblo.(E) Lévitique 17:9 et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour l'offrir en sacrifice à l'Eternel, cet homme-là sera retranché de son peuple.(F) Lev 17:9 und bringt's nicht vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts, daß er's dem HERRN tue, der soll ausgerottet werden von seinem Volk.(D) Lev 17:9 καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκῃ ποιῆσαι αὐτὸ τῷ κυρίῳ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Lev 17:9 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it to the Lord, that man shall be cut off from among his people.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:10 ============ Lev 17:10 'And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.(nasb) Lev 17:10 Homo quilibet de domo Israël et de advenis qui peregrinantur inter eos, si comederit sanguinem, obfirmabo faciem meam contra animam illius, et disperdam eam de populo suo,(vulgate) Levítico 17:10 Y cualquier varón de la casa de Israel, o de los extranjeros que peregrinan entre ellos, que comiere alguna sangre, yo pondré mi rostro contra la persona que comiere sangre, y le cortaré de entre su pueblo.(E) Lévitique 17:10 Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux mange du sang d'une espèce quelconque, je tournerai ma face contre celui qui mange le sang, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.(F) Lev 17:10 Und welcher Mensch, er sei vom Haus Israel oder ein Fremdling unter euch, irgend Blut ißt, wider den will ich mein Antlitz setzen und will ihn mitten aus seinem Volk ausrotten.(D) Lev 17:10 καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἢ τῶν προσηλύτων τῶν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμῖν ὃς ἂν φάγῃ πᾶν αἷμα καὶ ἐπιστήσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπὶ τὴν ψυχὴν τὴν ἔσθουσαν τὸ αἷμα καὶ ἀπολῶ αὐτὴν ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς(lxx) Lev 17:10 'And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:11 ============ Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.'(nasb) Lev 17:11 quia anima carnis in sanguine est: et ego dedi illum vobis, ut super altare in eo expietis pro animabus vestris, et sanguis pro animæ piaculo sit.(vulgate) Levítico 17:11 Porque la vida de la carne en la sangre [está]; y yo os la he dado para expiar vuestras almas sobre el altar; porque [es] la sangre lo que hace expiación por el alma.(E) Lévitique 17:11 Car l'âme de la chair est dans le sang. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, 'You are not to eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.'(nasb) Lev 17:14 Anima enim omnis carnis in sanguine est: unde dixi filiis Israël: Sanguinem universæ carnis non comedetis, quia anima carnis in sanguine est: et quicumque comederit illum, interibit.(vulgate) Levítico 17:14 Porque el alma de toda carne, su vida, está en su sangre: por tanto he dicho a los hijos de Israel: No comeréis la sangre de ninguna carne, porque la vida de toda carne [es] su sangre; cualquiera que la comiere será cortado.(E) Lévitique 17:14 Car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang, qui est en elle. C'est pourquoi j'ai dit aux enfants d'Israël: Vous ne mangerez le sang d'aucune chair; car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang: quiconque en mangera sera retranché.(F) Lev 17:14 Denn des Leibes Leben ist in seinem Blut, solange es lebt; und ich habe den Kindern Israel gesagt: Ihr sollt keines Leibes Blut essen; denn des Leibes Leben ist in seinem Blut; wer es ißt, der soll ausgerottet werden.(D) Lev 17:14 ἡ γὰρ ψυχὴ πάσης σαρκὸς αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐστιν καὶ εἶπα τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ αἷμα πάσης σαρκὸς οὐ φάγεσθε ὅτι ἡ ψυχὴ πάσης σαρκὸς αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐστιν πᾶς ὁ ἔσθων αὐτὸ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται(lxx) Lev 17:14 for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, 'You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.'(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 17:15 ============ Lev 17:15 When any person eats an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or an alien, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.(nasb) Lev 17:15 Anima, quæ comederit morticinum, vel captum a bestia, tam de indigenis, quam de advenis, lavabit vestimenta sua et semetipsum aqua, et contaminatus erit usque ad vesperum: et hoc ordine mundus fiet.(vulgate) Levítico 17:15 Y cualquiera persona que comiere cosa mortecina o despedazada [por fiera], así de los naturales como de los extranjeros, lavará sus vestiduras y a sí mismo se lavará con agua, y será inmundo hasta la tarde; y se limpiará.(E) Lévitique 17:15 Toute personne, indigène ou étrangère, qui mangera d'une bête morte ou déchirée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera dans l'eau, et sera impure jusqu'au soir; puis elle sera pure.(F) Lev 17:15 Und welche Seele ein Aas oder was vom Wild zerrissen ist, ißt, er sei ein Einheimischer oder Fremdling, der soll sein Kleid waschen und sich mit Wasser baden und unrein sein bis auf den Abend, so wird er rein.(D) Lev 17:15 καὶ πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις φάγεται θνησιμαῖον ἢ θηριάλωτον ἐν τοῖς αὐτόχθοσιν ἢ ἐν τοῖς προσηλύτοις πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ καθαρὸς ἔσται(lxx) Lev 17:15 "And every person who eats what died naturally or what was torn by beasts, whether he is a native of your own country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
