Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 16:1 ============ Lev 16:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they had approached the presence of the Lord and died.(nasb) Lev 16:1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen post mortem duorum filiorum Aaron, quando offerentes ignem alienum interfecti sunt:(vulgate) Levítico 16:1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, después que murieron los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando se acercaron delante de Jehová, y murieron.(E) Lévitique 16:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, après la mort des deux fils d'Aaron, qui moururent en se présentant devant l'Eternel.(F) Lev 16:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose, nachdem die zwei Söhne Aarons gestorben waren, da sie vor dem HERRN opferten,(D) Lev 16:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν μετὰ τὸ τελευτῆσαι τοὺς δύο υἱοὺς Ααρων ἐν τῷ προσάγειν αὐτοὺς πῦρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐτελεύτησαν(lxx) Lev 16:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered profane fire before the Lord, and died;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:2 ============ Lev 16:2 The Lord said to Moses:" Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.(nasb) Lev 16:2 et præcepit ei, dicens: Loquere ad Aaron fratrem tuum, ne omni tempore ingrediatur sanctuarium, quod est intra velum coram propitiatorio quo tegitur arca, ut non moriatur (quia in nube apparebo super oraculum),(vulgate) Levítico 16:2 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón tu hermano, que no en todo tiempo entre en el santuario detrás del velo, delante del propiciatorio que está sobre el arca, para que no muera: porque yo apareceré en la nube sobre el propiciatorio.(E) Lévitique 16:2 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Parle à ton frère Aaron, afin qu'il n'entre pas en tout temps dans le sanctuaire, au dedans du voile, devant le propitiatoire qui est sur l'arche, de peur qu'il ne meure; car j'apparaîtrai dans la nuée sur le propitiatoire.(F) Lev 16:2 und sprach: Sage deinem Bruder Aaron, daß er nicht zu aller Zeit in das inwendige Heiligtum gehe hinter den Vorhang vor den Gnadenstuhl, der auf der Lade ist, daß er nicht sterbe; denn ich will in einer Wolke erscheinen auf dem Gnadenstuhl;(D) Lev 16:2 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λάλησον πρὸς Ααρων τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ μὴ εἰσπορευέσθω πᾶσαν ὥραν εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος εἰς πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου ὅ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται ἐν γὰρ νεφέλῃ ὀφθήσομαι ἐπὶ τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου(lxx) Lev 16:2 and the Lord said to Moses: "Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:3 ============ Lev 16:3 Aaron shall enter the holy place with this: with a bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.(nasb) Lev 16:3 nisi hæc ante fecerit: vitulum pro peccato offeret, et arietem in holocaustum.(vulgate) Levítico 16:3 Con esto entrará Aarón en el santuario: con un becerro para expiación, y un carnero para holocausto.(E) Lévitique 16:3 Voici de quelle manière Aaron entrera dans le sanctuaire. Il prendra un jeune taureau pour le sacrifice d'expiation et un bélier pour l'holocauste.(F) Lev 16:3 sondern damit soll er hineingehen: mit einem jungen Farren zum Sündopfer und mit einem Widder zum Brandopfer,(D) Lev 16:3 οὕτως εἰσελεύσεται Ααρων εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐν μόσχῳ ἐκ βοῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ κριὸν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα(lxx) Lev 16:3 Thus Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with the blood of a young bull as a sin offering, and of a ram as a burnt offering.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:4 ============ Lev 16:4 He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and the linen undergarments shall be next to his body, and he shall be girded with the linen sash and attired with the linen turban (these are holy garments). Then he shall bathe his body in water and put them on.(nasb) Lev 16:4 Tunica linea vestietur, feminalibus lineis verenda celabit: accingetur zona linea, cidarim lineam imponet capiti: hæc enim vestimenta sunt sancta: quibus cunctis, cum lotus fuerit, induetur.(vulgate) Levítico 16:4 Se vestirá la túnica santa de lino, y sobre su carne tendrá calzoncillos de lino, y se ceñirá el cinto de lino; y con la mitra de lino se cubrirá; son las santas vestiduras; lavará, pues, su carne con agua y [luego] se vestirá con ellas.(E) Lévitique 16:4 Il se revêtira de la tunique sacrée de lin, et portera sur son corps des caleçons de lin; il se ceindra d'une ceinture de lin, et il se couvrira la tête d'une tiare de lin: ce sont les vêtements sacrés, dont il se revêtira après avoir lavé son corps dans l'eau.(F) Lev 16:4 und soll den heiligen leinenen Rock anlegen und leinene Beinkleider an seinem Fleisch haben und sich mit einem leinenen Gürtel gürten und den leinenen Hut aufhaben, denn das sind die heiligen Kleider, und soll sein Fleisch mit Wasser baden und sie anlegen.(D) Lev 16:4 καὶ χιτῶνα λινοῦν ἡγιασμένον ἐνδύσεται καὶ περισκελὲς λινοῦν ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ζώνῃ λινῇ ζώσεται καὶ κίδαριν λινῆν περιθήσεται ἱμάτια ἅγιά ἐστιν καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνδύσεται αὐτά(lxx) Lev 16:4 He shall put the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban he shall be attired. una suerte por Jehová, y la otra suerte por el macho cabrío de escapatoria.(E) Lévitique 16:8 Aaron jettera le sort sur les deux boucs, un sort pour l'Eternel et un sort pour Azazel.(F) Lev 16:8 und soll das Los werfen über die zwei Böcke: ein Los dem HERRN, das andere dem Asasel.(D) Lev 16:8 καὶ ἐπιθήσει Ααρων ἐπὶ τοὺς δύο χιμάρους κλῆρον ἕνα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ κλῆρον ἕνα τῷ ἀποπομπαίῳ(lxx) Lev 16:8 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:9 ============ Lev 16:9 Then Aaron shall offer the goat on which the lot for the Lord fell, and make it a sin offering.(nasb) Lev 16:9 cujus exierit sors Domino, offeret illum pro peccato:(vulgate) Levítico 16:9 Y Aarón hará traer el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayere la suerte por Jehová, y lo ofrecerá en expiación.(E) Lévitique 16:9 Aaron fera approcher le bouc sur lequel est tombé le sort pour l'Eternel, et il l'offrira en sacrifice d'expiation.(F) Lev 16:9 Und soll den Bock, auf welchen das Los des HERRN fällt, opfern zum Sündopfer.(D) Lev 16:9 καὶ προσάξει Ααρων τὸν χίμαρον ἐφ᾽ ὃν ἐπῆλθεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ὁ κλῆρος τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ προσοίσει περὶ ἁμαρτίας(lxx) Lev 16:9 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord's lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:10 ============ Lev 16:10 But the goat on which the lot for the scapegoat fell shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, to send it into the wilderness as the scapegoat.(nasb) Lev 16:10 cujus autem in caprum emissarium, statuet eum vivum coram Domino, ut fundat preces super eo, et emittat eum in solitudinem.~(vulgate) Levítico 16:10 Mas el macho cabrío, sobre el cual cayere la suerte por el macho cabrío de escapatoria, lo presentará vivo delante de Jehová, para hacer la reconciliación sobre él, para enviarlo como macho cabrío de escapatoria al desierto.(E) Lévitique 16:10 Et le bouc sur lequel est tombé le sort pour Azazel sera placé vivant devant l'Eternel, afin qu'il serve à faire l'expiation et qu'il soit lâché dans le désert pour Azazel.(F) Lev 16:10 Aber den Bock, auf welchen das Los für Asasel fällt, soll er lebendig vor den HERRN stellen, daß er über ihm versöhne, und lasse den Bock für Asasel in die Wüste.(D) Lev 16:10 καὶ τὸν χίμαρον ἐφ᾽ ὃν ἐπῆλθεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ὁ κλῆρος τοῦ ἀποπομπαίου στήσει αὐτὸν ζῶντα ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ ἐξιλάσασθαι ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ὥστε ἀποστεῖλαι αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἀποπομπήν ἀφήσει αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον(lxx) Lev 16:10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:11 ============ Lev 16:11 "Then Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering which is for himself and make atonement for himself and for his household, and he shall slaughter the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.(nasb) Lev 16:11 His rite celebratis, offeret vitulum, et rogans pro se, et pro domo sua, immolabit eum:(vulgate) Levítico 16:11 Y hará llegar Aarón el becerro que era suyo para expiación, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por su casa, y degollará en expiación el becerro que es suyo.(E) Lévitique 16:11 Aaron offrira son taureau expiatoire, et il fera l'expiation pour lui et pour sa maison. Il égorgera son taureau expiatoire.(F) Lev 16:11 Und also soll er denn den Farren seines Sündopfers herzubringen und sich und sein Haus versöhnen und soll ihn schlachten(D) Lev 16:11 καὶ προσάξει Ααρων τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ μόνον καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ σφάξει τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Lev 16:11 "And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull as the sin offering which is for himself.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:12 ============ Lev 16:12 He shall take a firepan full of coals of fire from upon the altar before the Lord and two handfuls of finely ground sweet incense, and bring it inside the veil.(nasb) Lev 16:12 assumptoque thuribulo, quod de prunis altaris impleverit, et hauriens manu compositum thymiama in incensum, ultra velum intrabit in sancta:(vulgate) Levítico 16:12 Después tomará el incensario lleno de brasas de fuego, del altar de delante de Jehová, y sus puños llenos del incienso aromático molido, y lo meterá del velo adentro:(E) Lévitique 16:12 Il prendra un brasier plein de charbons ardents ôtés de dessus l'autel devant l'Eternel, et de deux poignées de parfum odoriférant en poudre; il portera ces choses au delà du voile;(F) Lev 16:12 und soll einen Napf voll Glut vom Altar nehmen, der vor dem HERRN steht, und die Hand voll zerstoßenen Räuchwerks und es hinein hinter den Vorhang bringen(D) Lev 16:12 καὶ λήμψεται τὸ πυρεῖον πλῆρες ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ ἀπέναντι κυρίου καὶ πλήσει τὰς χεῖρας θυμιάματος συνθέσεως λεπτῆς καὶ εἰσοίσει ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος(lxx) Lev 16:12 Then he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the Lord, with his hands full of sweet incense beaten fine, and bring it inside the veil.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:13 ============ Lev 16:13 He shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the ark of the testimony, otherwise he will die.(nasb) Lev 16:13 ut, positis super ignem aromatibus, nebula eorum et vapor operiat oraculum quod est supra testimonium, et non moriatur.(vulgate) Levítico 16:13 Y pondrá el incienso sobre el fuego delante de Jehová, y la nube del incienso cubrirá el propiciatorio que [está] sobre el testimonio, para que no muera.(E) Lévitique 16:13 il mettra le parfum sur le feu devant l'Eternel, afin que la nuée du parfum couvre le propitiatoire qui est sur le témoignage, et il ne mourra point.(F) Lev 16:13 und das Räuchwerk aufs Feuer tun vor dem HERRN, daß der Nebel vom Räuchwerk den Gnadenstuhl bedecke, der auf dem Zeugnis ist, daß er nicht sterbe.(D) Lev 16:13 καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὸ θυμίαμα ἐπὶ τὸ πῦρ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ καλύψει ἡ ἀτμὶς τοῦ θυμιάματος τὸ ἱλαστήριον τὸ ἐπὶ τῶν μαρτυρίων καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται(lxx) Lev 16:13 And he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:14 ============ Lev 16:14 Moreover, he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; also in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.(nasb) Lev 16:14 Tollet quoque de sanguine vituli, et asperget digito septies contra propitiatorium ad orientem.~(vulgate) Levítico 16:14 Tomará luego de la sangre del becerro, y [la] rociará con su dedo hacia el propiciatorio al lado oriental; hacia el propiciatorio esparcirá siete veces de aquella sangre con su dedo.(E) Lévitique 16:14 Il prendra du sang du taureau, et il fera l'aspersion avec son doigt sur le devant du propitiatoire vers l'orient; il fera avec son doigt sept fois l'aspersion du sang devant le propitiatoire.(F) Lev 16:14 Und soll von dem Blut des Farren nehmen und es mit seinem Finger auf den Gnadenstuhl sprengen vornean; vor den Gnadenstuhl aber soll er siebenmal mit seinem Finger vom Blut sprengen.(D) Lev 16:14 καὶ λήμψεται ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου καὶ ῥανεῖ τῷ δακτύλῳ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον κατὰ ἀνατολάς κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου ῥανεῖ ἑπτάκις ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τῷ δακτύλῳ(lxx) Lev 16:14 He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:15 ============ Lev 16:15 "Then he shall slaughter the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, and bring its blood inside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat.(nasb) Lev 16:15 Cumque mactaverit hircum pro peccato populi, inferet sanguinem ejus intra velum, sicut præceptum est de sanguine vituli, ut aspergat e regione oraculi,(vulgate) Levítico 16:15 Después degollará en expiación el macho cabrío expiatorio, que [era] por el pueblo, y meterá la sangre de él del velo adentro; y hará de su sangre como hizo de la sangre del becerro, y [la] esparcirá sobre el propiciatorio y delante del propiciatorio.(E) Lévitique 16:15 Il égorgera le bouc expiatoire pour le peuple, et il en portera le sang au delà du voile. Il fera avec ce sang comme il a fait avec le sang du taureau, il en fera l'aspersion sur le propitiatoire et devant le propitiatoire.(F) Lev 16:15 Darnach soll er den Bock, des Volkes Sündopfer, schlachten und sein Blut hineinbringen hinter den Vorhang und soll mit seinem Blut tun, wie er mit des Farren Blut getan hat, und damit auch sprengen auf den Gnadenstuhl und vor den Gnadenstuhl;(D) Lev 16:15 καὶ σφάξει τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ εἰσοίσει ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ ποιήσει τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησεν τὸ αἷμα τοῦ μόσχου καὶ ῥανεῖ τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου(lxx) Lev 16:15 "Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 16:16 ============ Lev 16:16 He shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the impurities of the sons of Israel and because of their transgressions in regard to all their sins; and thus he shall do for the tent of meeting which abides with them in the midst of their impurities.(nasb) Lev 16:16 et expiet sanctuarium ab immunditiis filiorum Israël, et a prævaricationibus eorum, cunctisque peccatis. Juxta hunc ritum faciet tabernaculo testimonii, quod fixum est inter eos, in medio sordium habitationis eorum.(vulgate) Levítico 16:16 Y hará expiación por el santuario, por las inmundicias de los hijos de Israel, y por sus rebeliones, y por todos sus pecados: de la misma manera hará también al tabernáculo de la congregación, el cual reside entre ellos en medio de sus inmundicias.(E) Lévitique 16:16 C'est ainsi qu'il fera l'expiation pour le sanctuaire à cause des impuretés des enfants d'Israël et de toutes les transgressions par lesquelles ils ont péché. Il fera de même pour la tente d'assignation, qui est avec eux au milieu de leurs impuretés.(F) Lev 16:16 und soll also versöhnen das Heiligtum von der Unreinigkeit der Kinder Israel und von ihrer Übertretung in allen ihren Sünden. And just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so he did.(nasb) Lev 16:34 Eritque vobis hoc legitimum sempiternum, ut oretis pro filiis Israël, et pro cunctis peccatis eorum semel in anno. Fecit igitur sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi.(vulgate) Levítico 16:34 Y esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo, para hacer expiación por los hijos de Israel por todos sus pecados, una vez al año. Y Moisés lo hizo como Jehová le mandó.(E) Lévitique 16:34 Ce sera pour vous une loi perpétuelle: il se fera une fois chaque année l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël, à cause de leurs péchés. On fit ce que l'Eternel avait ordonné à Moïse.(F) Lev 16:34 Das soll euch ein ewiges Recht sein, daß ihr die Kinder Israel versöhnt von allen ihren Sünden, im Jahr einmal. Und Aaron tat, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.(D) Lev 16:34 καὶ ἔσται τοῦτο ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ποιηθήσεται καθάπερ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ(lxx) Lev 16:34 This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, once a year."
