Today's Date: ======= Numbers 11:1 ============ Num 11:1 Now the people became like those who complain of adversity in the hearing of the Lord; and when the Lord heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.(nasb) Num 11:1 Interea ortum est murmur populi, quasi dolentium pro labore, contra Dominum. Quod cum audisset Dominus, iratus est. Et accensus in eos ignis Domini, devoravit extremam castrorum partem.(vulgate) Números 11:1 Y aconteció que el pueblo se quejó a oídos de Jehová; y lo oyó Jehová, y se enardeció su furor, y se encendió en ellos fuego de Jehová y consumió a los que estaban en un extremo del campamento.(E) Nombres 11:1 Le peuple murmura et cela déplut aux oreilles de l'Eternel. Lorsque l'Eternel l'entendit, sa colère s'enflamma; le feu de l'Eternel s'alluma parmi eux, et dévora l'extrémité du camp.(F) Num 11:1 Und da sich das Volk ungeduldig machte, gefiel es übel vor den Ohren des HERRN. Und als es der HERR hörte, ergrimmte sein Zorn, und zündete das Feuer des HERRN unter ihnen an; das verzehrte die äußersten Lager.(D) Num 11:1 καὶ ἦν ὁ λαὸς γογγύζων πονηρὰ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἤκουσεν κύριος καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ καὶ ἐξεκαύθη ἐν αὐτοῖς πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν μέρος τι τῆς παρεμβολῆς(lxx) Num 11:1 Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:2 ============ Num 11:2 The people therefore cried out to Moses, and Moses prayed to the Lord and the fire died out.(nasb) Num 11:2 Cumque clamasset populus ad Moysen, oravit Moyses ad Dominum, et absorptus est ignis.(vulgate) Números 11:2 Entonces el pueblo dio voces a Moisés, y Moisés oró a Jehová, y el fuego se extinguió.(E) Nombres 11:2 Le peuple cria à Moïse. Moïse pria l'Eternel, et le feu s'arrêta.(F) Num 11:2 Da schrie das Volk zu Mose, und Mose bat den HERRN; da verschwand das Feuer.(D) Num 11:2 καὶ ἐκέκραξεν ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ ηὔξατο Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον καὶ ἐκόπασεν τὸ πῦρ(lxx) Num 11:2 Then the people cried out to Moses, and when Moses prayed to the Lord, the fire was quenched.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:3 ============ Num 11:3 So the name of that place was called Taberah, because the fire of the Lord burned among them.(nasb) Num 11:3 Vocavitque nomen illius, Incensio: eo quod incensus fuisset contra eos ignis Domini.(vulgate) Números 11:3 Y llamó a aquel lugar Tabera; porque el fuego de Jehová se encendió en ellos.(E) Nombres 11:3 On donna à ce lieu le nom de Tabeéra, parce que le feu de l'Eternel s'était allumé parmi eux.(F) Num 11:3 Und man hieß die Stätte Thabeera, darum daß sich unter ihnen des HERRN Feuer angezündet hatte.(D) Num 11:3 καὶ ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου ἐμπυρισμός ὅτι ἐξεκαύθη ἐν αὐτοῖς πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου(lxx) Num 11:3 So he called the name of the place Taberah, because the fire of the Lord had burned among them.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:4 ============ Num 11:4 The rabble who were among them had greedy desires; and also the sons of Israel wept again and said, "Who will give us meat to eat?(nasb) Num 11:4 Vulgus quippe promiscuum, quod ascenderat cum eis, flagravit desiderio, sedens et flens, junctis sibi pariter filiis Israël, et ait: Quis dabit nobis ad vescendum carnes?(vulgate) Números 11:4 Y la multitud de raza mixta que había entre ellos tuvo un vivo deseo, y los hijos de Israel también volvieron a llorar y dijeron: ¡Quién nos diera a comer carne!(E) Nombres 11:4 Le ramassis de gens qui se trouvaient au milieu d'Israël fut saisi de convoitise; et même les enfants d'Israël recommencèrent à pleurer et dirent: Qui nous donnera de la viande à manger?(F) Num 11:4 Das Pöbelvolk aber unter ihnen war lüstern geworden, und sie saßen und weinten samt den Kindern Israel und sprachen: Wer will uns Fleisch zu essen geben?(D) Num 11:4 καὶ ὁ ἐπίμικτος ὁ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπεθύμησαν ἐπιθυμίαν καὶ καθίσαντες ἔκλαιον καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπαν τίς ἡμᾶς ψωμιεῖ κρέα(lxx) Num 11:4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: "Who will give us meat to eat?(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:5 ============ Num 11:5 We remember the fish which we used to eat free in Egypt, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic,(nasb) Num 11:5 recordamur piscium quos comedebamus in Ægypto gratis: in mentem nobis veniunt cucumeres, et pepones, porrique, et cæpe, et allia.(vulgate) Números 11:5 Nos acordamos del pescado que comíamos de balde en Egipto, de los pepinos, y de los melones, y de las verduras, y de las cebollas, y de los ajos.(E) Nombres 11:5 Nous nous souvenons des poissons que nous mangions en Egypte, et qui ne nous coûtaient rien, des concombres, des melons, des poireaux, des oignons et des aulx.(F) Num 11:5 Wir gedenken der Fische, die wir in Ägypten umsonst aßen, und der Kürbisse, der Melonen, des Lauchs, der Zwiebeln und des Knoblauchs.(D) Num 11:5 ἐμνήσθημεν τοὺς ἰχθύας οὓς ἠσθίομεν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ δωρεάν καὶ τοὺς σικύας καὶ τοὺς πέπονας καὶ τὰ πράσα καὶ τὰ κρόμμυα καὶ τὰ σκόρδα(lxx) Num 11:5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic;(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:6 ============ Num 11:6 but now our appetite is gone. There is nothing at all to look at except this manna."(nasb) Num 11:6 Anima nostra arida est: nihil aliud respiciunt oculi nostri nisi man.(vulgate) Números 11:6 Y ahora nuestra alma se seca; que nada sino maná ven nuestros ojos.(E) Nombres 11:6 Maintenant, notre âme est desséchée: plus rien! Nos yeux ne voient que de la manne.(F) Num 11:6 Nun aber ist unsere Seele matt; denn unsere Augen sehen nichts als das Man.(D) Num 11:6 νυνὶ δὲ ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν κατάξηρος οὐδὲν πλὴν εἰς τὸ μαννα οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν(lxx) Num 11:6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:7 ============ Num 11:7 Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance like that of bdellium.(nasb) Num 11:7 Erat autem man quasi semen coriandri, coloris bdellii.(vulgate) Números 11:7 Y era el maná como semilla de cilantro, y su color como color de bedelio.(E) Nombres 11:7 La manne ressemblait à de la graine de coriandre, et avait l'apparence du bdellium.(F) Num 11:7 Es war aber das Man wie Koriandersamen und anzusehen wie Bedellion.(D) Num 11:7 τὸ δὲ μαννα ὡσεὶ σπέρμα κορίου ἐστίν καὶ τὸ εἶδος αὐτοῦ εἶδος κρυστάλλου(lxx) Num 11:7 Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:8 ============ Num 11:8 The people would go about and gather it and grind it between two millstones or beat it in the mortar, and boil it in the pot and make cakes with it; and its taste was as the taste of cakes baked with oil.(nasb) Num 11:8 Circuibatque populus, et colligens illud, frangebat mola, sive terebat in mortario, coquens in olla, et faciens ex eo tortulas saporis quasi panis oleati.(vulgate) Números 11:8 [Y] el pueblo se esparcía y lo recogía, y [lo] molía en molinos o [lo] majaba en morteros, y [lo] cocía en caldera, o hacía de él tortas; y su sabor era como sabor de aceite nuevo.(E) Nombres 11:8 Le peuple se dispersait pour la ramasser; il la broyait avec des meules, ou la pilait dans un mortier; il la cuisait au pot, et en faisait des gâteaux. Elle avait le goût d'un gâteau à l'huile.(F) Num 11:8 Und das Volk lief hin und her und sammelte und zerrieb es mit Mühlen und stieß es in Mörsern und kochte es in Töpfen und machte sich Aschenkuchen daraus; und es hatte einen Geschmack wie ein Ölkuchen.(D) Num 11:8 καὶ διεπορεύετο ὁ λαὸς καὶ συνέλεγον καὶ ἤληθον αὐτὸ ἐν τῷ μύλῳ καὶ ἔτριβον ἐν τῇ θυίᾳ καὶ ἥψουν αὐτὸ ἐν τῇ χύτρᾳ καὶ ἐποίουν αὐτὸ ἐγκρυφίας καὶ ἦν ἡ ἡδονὴ αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ γεῦμα ἐγκρὶς ἐξ ἐλαίου(lxx) Num 11:8 The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:9 ============ Num 11:9 When the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna would fall with it.(nasb) Num 11:9 Cumque descenderet nocte super castra ros, descendebat pariter et man.~(vulgate) Números 11:9 Y cuando descendía el rocío sobre el campamento de noche, el maná descendía sobre él.(E) Nombres 11:9 Quand la rosée descendait la nuit sur le camp, la manne y descendait aussi.(F) Num 11:9 Und wenn des Nachts der Tau über die Lager fiel, so fiel das Man mit darauf.(D) Num 11:9 καὶ ὅταν κατέβη ἡ δρόσος ἐπὶ τὴν παρεμβολὴν νυκτός κατέβαινεν τὸ μαννα ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς(lxx) Num 11:9 And when the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:10 ============ Num 11:10 Now Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, each man at the doorway of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly, and Moses was displeased.(nasb) Num 11:10 Audivit ergo Moyses flentem populum per familias, singulos per ostia tentorii sui. Iratusque est furor Domini valde: sed et Moysi intoleranda res visa est,(vulgate) Números 11:10 Y oyó Moisés al pueblo, que lloraba por sus familias, cada uno a la puerta de su tienda: y el furor de Jehová se encendió en gran manera; también pareció mal a Moisés.(E) Nombres 11:10 Moïse entendit le peuple qui pleurait, chacun dans sa famille et à l'entrée de sa tente. La colère de l'Eternel s'enflamma fortement. Moïse fut attristé,(F) Num 11:10 Da nun Mose das Volk hörte weinen unter ihren Geschlechtern, einen jeglichen in seiner Hütte Tür, da ergrimmte der Zorn des HERRN sehr, und Mose ward auch bange.(D) Num 11:10 καὶ ἤκουσεν Μωυσῆς κλαιόντων αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν ἕκαστον ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ κύριος σφόδρα καὶ ἔναντι Μωυσῆ ἦν πονηρόν(lxx) Num 11:10 Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:11 ============ Num 11:11 So Moses said to the Lord, "Why have You been so hard on Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all this people on me?(nasb) Num 11:11 et ait ad Dominum: Cur afflixisti servum tuum? quare non invenio gratiam coram te? et cur imposuisti pondus universi populi hujus super me?(vulgate) Números 11:11 Y dijo Moisés a Jehová: ¿Por qué has hecho mal a tu siervo? ¿Y por qué no he hallado gracia en tus ojos, que has puesto la carga de todo este pueblo sobre mí?(E) Nombres 11:11 et il dit à l'Eternel: Pourquoi affliges-tu ton serviteur, et pourquoi n'ai-je pas trouvé grâce à tes yeux, que tu aies mis sur moi la charge de tout ce peuple?(F) Num 11:11 Und Mose sprach zu dem HERRN: Warum bekümmerst du deinen Knecht? und warum finde ich nicht Gnade vor deinen Augen, daß du die Last dieses ganzen Volks auf mich legst?(D) Num 11:11 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον ἵνα τί ἐκάκωσας τὸν θεράποντά σου καὶ διὰ τί οὐχ εὕρηκα χάριν ἐναντίον σου ἐπιθεῖναι τὴν ὁρμὴν τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ(lxx) Num 11:11 So Moses said to the Lord, "Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me?(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:12 ============ Num 11:12 Was it I who conceived all this people? Was it I who brought them forth, that You should say to me, 'Carry them in your bosom as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which You swore to their fathers'?(nasb) Num 11:12 Numquid ego concepi omnem hanc multitudinem, vel genui eam, ut dicas mihi: Porta eos in sinu tuo sicut portare solet nutrix infantulum, et defer in terram, pro qua jurasti patribus eorum?(vulgate) Números 11:12 ¿Concebí yo a todo este pueblo? ¿Lo engendré yo, para que me digas: Llévalo en tu seno, como lleva la que cría al que mama, a la tierra de la cual juraste a sus padres?(E) Nombres 11:12 Est-ce moi qui ai conçu ce peuple? est-ce moi qui l'ai enfanté, pour que tu me dises: Porte-le sur ton sein, comme le nourricier porte un enfant, jusqu'au pays que tu as juré à ses pères de lui donner?(F) Num 11:12 Habe ich nun all das Volk empfangen oder geboren, daß du zu mir sagen magst: Trag es in deinen Armen, wie eine Amme ein Kind trägt, in das Land, das du ihren Vätern geschworen hast?(D) Num 11:12 μὴ ἐγὼ ἐν γαστρὶ ἔλαβον πάντα τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ἢ ἐγὼ ἔτεκον αὐτούς ὅτι λέγεις μοι λαβὲ αὐτὸν εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου ὡσεὶ ἄραι τιθηνὸς τὸν θηλάζοντα εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσας τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν(lxx) Num 11:12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, 'Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,' to the land which You swore to their fathers?(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:13 ============ Num 11:13 Where am I to get meat to give to all this people? For they weep before me, saying, 'Give us meat that we may eat!'(nasb) Num 11:13 Unde mihi carnes ut dem tantæ multitudini? flent contra me, dicentes: Da nobis carnes ut comedamus.(vulgate) Números 11:13 ¿De dónde tomaría yo carne para dar a todo este pueblo? Porque lloran a mí, diciendo: Danos carne que comamos.(E) Nombres 11:13 Où prendrai-je de la viande pour donner à tout ce peuple? Car ils pleurent auprès de moi, en disant: Donne-nous de la viande à manger!(F) Num 11:13 Woher soll ich Fleisch nehmen, daß ich allem diesem Volk gebe? Sie weinen vor mir und sprechen: Gib uns Fleisch, daß wir essen.(D) Num 11:13 πόθεν μοι κρέα δοῦναι παντὶ τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ ὅτι κλαίουσιν ἐπ᾽ ἐμοὶ λέγοντες δὸς ἡμῖν κρέα ἵνα φάγωμεν(lxx) Num 11:13 Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, 'Give us meat, that we may eat.'(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:14 ============ Num 11:14 I alone am not able to carry all this people, because it is too burdensome for me.(nasb) Num 11:14 Non possum solus sustinere omnem hunc populum, quia gravis est mihi.(vulgate) Números 11:14 No puedo yo solo soportar a todo este pueblo, pues es demasiado pesado para mí.(E) Nombres 11:14 Je ne puis pas, à moi seul, porter tout ce peuple, car il est trop pesant pour moi.(F) Num 11:14 Ich vermag alles das Volk nicht allein zu ertragen; denn es ist mir zu schwer.(D) Num 11:14 οὐ δυνήσομαι ἐγὼ μόνος φέρειν τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ὅτι βαρύτερόν μοί ἐστιν τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο(lxx) Num 11:14 I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:15 ============ Num 11:15 So if You are going to deal thus with me, please kill me at once, if I have found favor in Your sight, and do not let me see my wretchedness."(nasb) Num 11:15 Sin aliter tibi videtur, obsecro ut interficias me, et inveniam gratiam in oculis tuis, ne tantis afficiar malis.~(vulgate) Números 11:15 Y si así lo haces tú conmigo, yo te ruego que me des muerte, si he hallado gracia en tus ojos; y que yo no vea mi mal.(E) Nombres 11:15 Plutôt que de me traiter ainsi, tue-moi, je te prie, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, et que je ne voie pas mon malheur.(F) Num 11:15 Und willst du also mit mir tun, so erwürge ich mich lieber, habe ich anders Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, daß ich nicht mein Unglück so sehen müsse.(D) Num 11:15 εἰ δὲ οὕτως σὺ ποιεῖς μοι ἀπόκτεινόν με ἀναιρέσει εἰ εὕρηκα ἔλεος παρὰ σοί ἵνα μὴ ἴδω μου τὴν κάκωσιν(lxx) Num 11:15 If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now--if I have found favor in Your sight--and do not let me see my wretchedness!"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:16 ============ Num 11:16 The Lord therefore said to Moses, "Gather for Me seventy men from the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and their officers and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you.(nasb) Num 11:16 Et dixit Dominus ad Moysen: Congrega mihi septuaginta viros de senibus Israël, quos tu nosti quod senes populi sint ac magistri: et duces eos ad ostium tabernaculi fœderis, faciesque ibi stare tecum,(vulgate) Números 11:16 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Júntame setenta varones de los ancianos de Israel, que tu sabes que son ancianos del pueblo y sus principales; y tráelos a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación, y esperen allí contigo.(E) Nombres 11:16 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Assemble auprès de moi soixante-dix hommes des anciens d'Israël, de ceux que tu connais comme anciens du peuple et ayant autorité sur lui; amène-les à la tente d'assignation, et qu'ils s'y présentent avec toi.(F) Num 11:16 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Sammle mir siebzig Männer unter den Ältesten Israels, von denen du weißt, daß sie Älteste im Volk und seine Amtleute sind, und nimm sie vor die Hütte des Stifts und stelle sie daselbst vor dich,(D) Num 11:16 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν συνάγαγέ μοι ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων Ισραηλ οὓς αὐτὸς σὺ οἶδας ὅτι οὗτοί εἰσιν πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ἄξεις αὐτοὺς πρὸς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ στήσονται ἐκεῖ μετὰ σοῦ(lxx) Num 11:16 So the Lord said to Moses: "Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:17 ============ Num 11:17 Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit who is upon you, and will put Him upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it all alone.(nasb) Num 11:17 ut descendam et loquar tibi: et auferam de spiritu tuo, tradamque eis, ut sustentent tecum onus populi, et non tu solus graveris.(vulgate) Números 11:17 Y yo descenderé y hablaré allí contigo; y tomaré del espíritu que está en ti, y lo pondré en ellos; y llevarán contigo la carga del pueblo, y no la llevarás tú solo.(E) Nombres 11:17 Je descendrai, et là je te parlerai; je prendrai de l'esprit qui est sur toi, et je le mettrai sur eux, afin qu'ils portent avec toi la charge du peuple, et que tu ne la portes pas à toi seul.(F) Num 11:17 so will ich herniederkommen und mit dir daselbst reden und von deinem Geist, der auf dir ist, nehmen und auf sie legen, daß sie mit dir die Last des Volkes tragen, daß du nicht allein tragest.(D) Num 11:17 καὶ καταβήσομαι καὶ λαλήσω ἐκεῖ μετὰ σοῦ καὶ ἀφελῶ ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματος τοῦ ἐπὶ σοὶ καὶ ἐπιθήσω ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς καὶ συναντιλήμψονται μετὰ σοῦ τὴν ὁρμὴν τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ οὐκ οἴσεις αὐτοὺς σὺ μόνος(lxx) Num 11:17 Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:18 ============ Num 11:18 Say to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying, "Oh that someone would give us meat to eat! For we were well-off in Egypt." Therefore the Lord will give you meat and you shall eat.(nasb) Num 11:18 Populo quoque dices: Sanctificamini (cras comedetis carnes: ego enim audivi vos dicere: Quis dabit nobis escas carnium? bene nobis erat in Ægypto), ut det vobis Dominus carnes, et comedatis:(vulgate) Números 11:18 Pero dirás al pueblo: Santificaos para mañana, y comeréis carne: pues que habéis llorado en oídos de Jehová, diciendo: ¡Quién nos diera a comer carne! ¡Cierto mejor nos iba en Egipto! Jehová, pues, os dará carne, y comeréis.(E) Nombres 11:18 Tu diras au peuple: Sanctifiez-vous pour demain, et vous mangerez de la viande, puisque vous avez pleuré aux oreilles de l'Eternel, en disant: Qui nous fera manger de la viande? car nous étions bien en Egypte. L'Eternel vous donnera de la viande, et vous en mangerez.(F) Num 11:18 Und zum Volk sollst du sagen: Heiliget euch auf morgen, daß ihr Fleisch esset; denn euer Weinen ist vor die Ohren des HERRN gekommen, die ihr sprecht: Wer gibt uns Fleisch zu essen? denn es ging uns wohl in Ägypten. Darum wird euch der HERR Fleisch geben, daß ihr esset,(D) Num 11:18 καὶ τῷ λαῷ ἐρεῖς ἁγνίσασθε εἰς αὔριον καὶ φάγεσθε κρέα ὅτι ἐκλαύσατε ἔναντι κυρίου λέγοντες τίς ἡμᾶς ψωμιεῖ κρέα ὅτι καλὸν ἡμῖν ἐστιν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ δώσει κύριος ὑμῖν κρέα φαγεῖν καὶ φάγεσθε κρέα(lxx) Num 11:18 Then you shall say to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying, "Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt." Oder werden sich alle Fische des Meeres herzu versammeln, daß es ihnen genug sei?(D) Num 11:22 μὴ πρόβατα καὶ βόες σφαγήσονται αὐτοῖς καὶ ἀρκέσει αὐτοῖς ἢ πᾶν τὸ ὄψος τῆς θαλάσσης συναχθήσεται αὐτοῖς καὶ ἀρκέσει αὐτοῖς(lxx) Num 11:22 Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to provide enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to provide enough for them?"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:23 ============ Num 11:23 The Lord said to Moses, "Is the Lord's power limited? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:24 ============ Num 11:24 So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord. Also, he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and stationed them around the tent.(nasb) Num 11:24 Venit igitur Moyses, et narravit populo verba Domini, congregans septuaginta viros de senibus Israël, quos stare fecit circa tabernaculum.(vulgate) Números 11:24 Y salió Moisés, y dijo al pueblo las palabras de Jehová. Il assembla soixante-dix hommes des anciens du peuple, et les plaça autour de la tente.(F) Num 11:24 Und Mose ging heraus und sagte dem Volk des HERRN Worte und versammelte siebzig Männer unter den Ältesten des Volks und stellte sie um die Hütte her.(D) Num 11:24 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τὰ ῥήματα κυρίου καὶ συνήγαγεν ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτοὺς κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς(lxx) Num 11:24 So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:25 ============ Num 11:25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him; and He took of the Spirit who was upon him and placed Him upon the seventy elders. And when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. But they did not do it again.(nasb) Num 11:25 Descenditque Dominus per nubem, et locutus est ad eum, auferens de spiritu qui erat in Moyse, et dans septuaginta viris. And the Spirit rested upon them (now they were among those who had been registered, but had not gone out to the tent), and they prophesied in the camp.(nasb) Num 11:26 Remanserat autem in castris duo viri, quorum unus vocabatur Eldad, et alter Medad, super quos requievit spiritus. And the Spirit rested upon them. Would that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!"(nasb) Num 11:29 At ille: Quid, inquit æmularis pro me? quis tribuat ut omnis populus prophetet, et det eis Dominus spiritum suum?(vulgate) Números 11:29 Y Moisés le respondió: ¿Tienes tú celos por mí? ¡Quisiera Dios que todo el pueblo de Jehová fuesen profetas, que Jehová pusiera su Espíritu sobre ellos!(E) Nombres 11:29 Moïse lui répondit: Es-tu jaloux pour moi? Il y en avait près de deux coudées au-dessus de la surface de la terre.(F) Num 11:31 Da fuhr aus der Wind von dem HERRN und ließ Wachteln kommen vom Meer und streute sie über das Lager, hier eine Tagereise lang, da eine Tagereise lang um das Lager her, zwei Ellen hoch über der Erde.(D) Num 11:31 καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξῆλθεν παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ἐξεπέρασεν ὀρτυγομήτραν ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπέβαλεν ἐπὶ τὴν παρεμβολὴν ὁδὸν ἡμέρας ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ὁδὸν ἡμέρας ἐντεῦθεν κύκλῳ τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὡσεὶ δίπηχυ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς(lxx) Num 11:31 Now a wind went out from the Lord, and it brought quail from the sea and left them fluttering near the camp, about a day's journey on this side and about a day's journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 11:32 ============ Num 11:32 The people spent all day and all night and all the next day, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten homers) and they spread them out for themselves all around the camp.(nasb) Num 11:32 Surgens ergo populus toto die illo, et nocte, ac die altero, congregavit coturnicum: qui parum, decem coros: et siccaverunt eas per gyrum castrorum.(vulgate) Números 11:32 Entonces el pueblo estuvo levantado todo aquel día, y toda la noche, y todo el día siguiente, y se recogieron codornices; el que menos, recogió diez montones; y las tendieron para sí a lo largo en derredor del campamento.(E) Nombres 11:32 Pendant tout ce jour et toute la nuit, et pendant toute la journée du lendemain, le peuple se leva et ramassa les cailles; celui qui en avait ramassé le moins en avait dix homers.
