And Jehoiada said to them, "Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the Lord has spoken concerning the sons of David.(nasb) 2Ch 23:3 Iniit ergo omnis multitudo pactum in domo Dei cum rege, dixitque ad eos Jojada: Ecce filius regis regnabit, sicut locutus est Dominus super filios David.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:3 Y toda la multitud hizo alianza con el rey en la casa de Dios. And he said to them, "Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the Lord has said of the sons of David.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:4 ============ 2Ch 23:4 This is the thing which you shall do: one third of you, of the priests and Levites who come in on the sabbath, shall be gatekeepers,(nasb) 2Ch 23:4 Iste est ergo sermo quem facietis:(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:4 Esto [es] lo que habéis de hacer: una tercera parte de vosotros que entran el sábado, [estarán] de porteros con los sacerdotes y los levitas;(E) 2 Chroniques 23:4 Voici ce que vous ferez. All the people shall be in the courts of the house of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:6 ============ 2Ch 23:6 But let no one enter the house of the Lord except the priests and the ministering Levites; they may enter, for they are holy. And let all the people keep the charge of the Lord.(nasb) 2Ch 23:6 Nec quispiam alius ingrediatur domum Domini, nisi sacerdotes, et qui ministrant de Levitis: ipsi tantummodo ingrediantur, quia sanctificati sunt: et omne reliquum vulgus observet custodias Domini.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:6 Y ninguno entre en la casa de Jehová, sino los sacerdotes y los levitas que sirven; éstos entrarán, porque [están] consagrados; y todo el pueblo hará la guardia de Jehová.(E) 2 Chroniques 23:6 Que personne n'entre dans la maison de l'Eternel, excepté les sacrificateurs et les Lévites de service: ils entreront, car ils sont saints. They may go in, for they are holy; but all the people shall keep the watch of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:7 ============ 2Ch 23:7 The Levites will surround the king, each man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever enters the house, let him be killed. Thus be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out."(nasb) 2Ch 23:7 Levitæ autem circumdent regem, habentes singuli arma sua (et siquis alius ingressus fuerit templum, interficiatur), sintque cum rege et intrante et egrediente.~(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:7 Y los levitas rodearán al rey por todas partes, y cada uno tendrá sus armas en la mano; y cualquiera que entrare en la casa, será muerto; y estaréis con el rey cuando entrare y cuando saliere.(E) 2 Chroniques 23:7 Les Lévites entoureront le roi de toutes parts, chacun les armes à la main, et l'on donnera la mort à quiconque entrera dans la maison: vous serez près du roi quand il entrera et quand il sortira.(F) 2Ch 23:7 Und die Leviten sollen sich rings um den König her machen, ein jeglicher mit seiner Wehr in der Hand, und wer ins Haus geht, der sei des Todes, und sie sollen bei dem König sein, wenn er aus und ein geht.(D) 2Ch 23:7 καὶ κυκλώσουσιν οἱ Λευῖται τὸν βασιλέα κύκλῳ ἀνδρὸς σκεῦος ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ εἰσπορευόμενος εἰς τὸν οἶκον ἀποθανεῖται καὶ ἔσονται μετὰ τοῦ βασιλέως εἰσπορευομένου καὶ ἐκπορευομένου(lxx) 2Ch 23:7 And the Levites shall surround the king on all sides, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes into the house, let him be put to death. You are to be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out."(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:8 ============ 2Ch 23:8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. And each one of them took his men who were to come in on the sabbath, with those who were to go out on the sabbath, for Jehoiada the priest did not dismiss any of the divisions.(nasb) 2Ch 23:8 Fecerunt ergo Levitæ, et universus Juda, juxta omnia quæ præceperat Jojada pontifex: et assumpserunt singuli viros qui sub se erant, et veniebant per ordinem sabbati, cum his qui impleverant sabbatum et egressuri erant: siquidem Jojada pontifex non dimiserat abire turmas quæ sibi per singulas hebdomadas succedere consueverant.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:8 Y los levitas y todo Judá lo hicieron todo como lo había mandado el sacerdote Joiada; y tomó cada uno a los suyos, los que entraban el sábado, y los que salían el sábado; porque el sacerdote Joiada no dio licencia a las compañías.(E) 2 Chroniques 23:8 Les Lévites et tout Juda exécutèrent tous les ordres qu'avait donnés le sacrificateur Jehojada. Ils prirent chacun leurs gens, ceux qui entraient en service et ceux qui sortaient de service le jour du sabbat; car le sacrificateur Jehojada n'avait exempté aucune des divisions.(F) 2Ch 23:8 Und die Leviten und ganz Juda taten, wie der Priester Jojada geboten hatte, und nahm ein jeglicher seine Leute, die des Sabbats antraten, mit denen, die des Sabbats abtraten. Denn Jojada, der Priester, ließ die Ordnungen nicht auseinander gehen.(D) 2Ch 23:8 καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ Λευῖται καὶ πᾶς Ιουδα κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Ιωδαε ὁ ἱερεύς καὶ ἔλαβον ἕκαστος τοὺς ἄνδρας αὐτοῦ ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς τοῦ σαββάτου ἕως ἐξόδου τοῦ σαββάτου ὅτι οὐ κατέλυσεν Ιωδαε τὰς ἐφημερίας(lxx) 2Ch 23:8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him and said, "Long live the king!"(nasb) 2Ch 23:11 Et eduxerunt filium regis, et imposuerunt ei diadema et testimonium, dederuntque in manu ejus tenendam legem, et constituerunt eum regem: unxit quoque illum Jojada pontifex, et filii ejus: imprecatique sunt ei, atque dixerunt: Vivat rex.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:11 Entonces sacaron al hijo del rey, le pusieron la corona, [le dieron] el testimonio y lo proclamaron rey; y Joiada y sus hijos lo ungieron y dijeron: ¡Viva el rey!(E) 2 Chroniques 23:11 On fit avancer le fils du roi, on mit sur lui le diadème et le témoignage, et on l'établit roi. Then Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, "Long live the king!"(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:12 ============ 2Ch 23:12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came into the house of the Lord to the people.(nasb) 2Ch 23:12 Quod cum audisset Athalia, vocem scilicet currentium atque laudantium regem, ingressa est ad populum in templum Domini.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:12 Y como Atalía oyó el estruendo de la gente que corría, y de los que aclamaban al rey, vino al pueblo a la casa de Jehová;(E) 2 Chroniques 23:12 Athalie entendit le bruit du peuple accourant et célébrant le roi, et elle vint vers le peuple à la maison de l'Eternel.(F) 2Ch 23:12 Da aber Athalja hörte das Geschrei des Volkes, das zulief und den König lobte, ging sie zum Volk im Hause des HERRN.(D) 2Ch 23:12 καὶ ἤκουσεν Γοθολια τὴν φωνὴν τοῦ λαοῦ τῶν τρεχόντων καὶ ἐξομολογουμένων καὶ αἰνούντων τὸν βασιλέα καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα εἰς οἶκον κυρίου(lxx) 2Ch 23:12 Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people in the temple of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:13 ============ 2Ch 23:13 She looked, and behold, the king was standing by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpeters were beside the king. And all the people of the land rejoiced and blew trumpets, the singers with their musical instruments leading the praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes and said, "Treason! Treason!"(nasb) 2Ch 23:13 Cumque vidisset regem stantem super gradum in introitu, et principes, turmasque circa eum, omnemque populum terræ gaudentem, atque clangentem tubis, et diversi generis organis concinentem, vocemque laudantium, scidit vestimenta sua, et ait: Insidiæ, insidiæ.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:13 y mirando, vio al rey que estaba junto a su columna a la entrada, y los príncipes y los trompetistas junto al rey, y todo el pueblo de la tierra hacía alegrías y tocaban trompetas, y los cantores con instrumentos de música dirigían la alabanza. Da zerriß sie ihre Kleider und rief: Aufruhr, Aufruhr!(D) 2Ch 23:13 καὶ εἶδεν καὶ ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐπὶ τῆς στάσεως αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς εἰσόδου οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες περὶ τὸν βασιλέα καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ηὐφράνθη καὶ ἐσάλπισαν ἐν ταῖς σάλπιγξιν καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες ἐν τοῖς ὀργάνοις ᾠδοὶ καὶ ὑμνοῦντες αἶνον καὶ διέρρηξεν Γοθολια τὴν στολὴν αὐτῆς καὶ ἐβόησεν καὶ εἶπεν ἐπιτιθέμενοι ἐπιτίθεσθε(lxx) 2Ch 23:13 When she looked, there was the king standing by his pillar at the entrance; and the leaders and the trumpeters were by the king. All the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets, also the singers with musical instruments, and those who led in praise. So Athaliah tore her clothes and said, "Treason! Treason!"(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 23:14 ============ 2Ch 23:14 Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds who were appointed over the army and said to them, "Bring her out between the ranks; and whoever follows her, put to death with the sword." For the priest said, "Let her not be put to death in the house of the Lord."(nasb) 2Ch 23:14 Egressus autem Jojada pontifex ad centuriones et principes exercitus, dixit eis: Educite illam extra septa templi, et interficiatur foris gladio. Præcepitque sacerdos ne occideretur in domo Domini,(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 23:14 Entonces el sacerdote Joiada sacó a los centuriones que estaban al mando del ejército, y les dijo: Sacadla fuera del recinto; y el que la siguiere, muera a filo de espada.
