And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who inflicted him with heavy casualties.(nasb) 2Ch 28:5 Tradiditque eum Dominus Deus ejus in manu regis Syriæ, qui percussit eum, magnamque prædam cepit de ejus imperio, et adduxit in Damascum: manibus quoque regis Israël traditus est, et percussus plaga grandi.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 28:5 Por lo cual Jehová su Dios lo entregó en manos del rey de los sirios, los cuales lo derrotaron, y se llevaron cautiva una gran multitud que llevaron a Damasco. Fue también entregado en manos del rey de Israel, el cual lo batió con gran mortandad.(E) 2 Chroniques 28:5 L'Eternel, son Dieu, le livra entre les mains du roi de Syrie; et les Syriens le battirent et lui firent un grand nombre de prisonniers, qu'ils emmenèrent à Damas. Il fut aussi livré entre les mains du roi d'Israël, qui lui fit éprouver une grande défaite.(F) 2Ch 28:5 Darum gab ihn der HERR, sein Gott, in die Hand des Königs von Syrien, daß sie ihn schlugen und einen großen Haufen von den Seinen gefangen wegführten und gen Damaskus brachten. Auch ward er gegeben unter die Hand des Königs Israels, daß er einen großen Schlag an ihm tat.(D) 2Ch 28:5 καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτοῦ διὰ χειρὸς βασιλέως Συρίας καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν αὐτῷ καὶ ᾐχμαλώτευσεν ἐξ αὐτῶν αἰχμαλωσίαν πολλὴν καὶ ἤγαγεν εἰς Δαμασκόν καὶ γὰρ εἰς τὰς χεῖρας βασιλέως Ισραηλ παρέδωκεν αὐτόν καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν αὐτῷ πληγὴν μεγάλην(lxx) 2Ch 28:5 Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria. They defeated him, and carried away a great multitude of them as captives, and brought them to Damascus. Il alla au-devant de l'armée qui revenait à Samarie, et il leur dit: C'est dans sa colère contre Juda que l'Eternel, le Dieu de vos pères, les a livrés entre vos mains, et vous les avez tués avec une fureur qui est montée jusqu'aux cieux.(F) 2Ch 28:9 Es war daselbst aber ein Prophet des HERRN, der hieß Obed; der ging heraus, dem Heer entgegen, das gen Samaria kam, und sprach zu ihnen: Siehe, weil der HERR, eurer Väter Gott, über Juda zornig ist, hat er sie in eure Hände gegeben; ihr aber habt sie erwürgt so greulich, daß es in den Himmel reicht.(D) 2Ch 28:9 καὶ ἐκεῖ ἦν ὁ προφήτης τοῦ κυρίου Ωδηδ ὄνομα αὐτῷ καὶ ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ἀπάντησιν τῆς δυνάμεως τῶν ἐρχομένων εἰς Σαμάρειαν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἰδοὺ ὀργὴ κυρίου θεοῦ τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χεῖρας ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπεκτείνατε ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν ὀργῇ ἕως τῶν οὐρανῶν ἔφθακεν(lxx) 2Ch 28:9 But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out before the army that came to Samaria, and said to them: "Look, because the Lord God of your fathers was angry with Judah, He has delivered them into your hand; but you have killed them in a rage that reaches up to heaven.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 28:10 ============ 2Ch 28:10 Now you are proposing to subjugate for yourselves the people of Judah and Jerusalem for male and female slaves. Surely, do you not have transgressions of your own against the Lord your God?(nasb) 2Ch 28:10 Insuper filios Juda et Jerusalem vultis vobis subjicere in servos et ancillas: quod nequaquam facto opus est: peccastis enim super hoc Domino Deo vestro.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 28:10 Y ahora habéis determinado sujetar a vosotros a Judá y a Jerusalén por siervos y siervas: [mas] ¿no habéis vosotros pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios?(E) 2 Chroniques 28:10 Et vous pensez maintenant faire des enfants de Juda et de Jérusalem vos serviteurs et vos servantes! Quare vultis adjicere super peccata nostra, et vetera cumulare delicta? grande quippe peccatum est, et ira furoris Domini imminet super Israël.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 28:13 Y les dijeron: No metáis acá a los cautivos; porque el pecado contra Jehová será sobre nosotros. Vosotros tratáis de añadir sobre nuestros pecados y sobre nuestras culpas, siendo muy grande nuestro delito, y la ira del furor sobre Israel.(E) 2 Chroniques 28:13 et leur dirent: Vous ne ferez point entrer ici des captifs; car, pour nous rendre coupables envers l'Eternel, vous voulez ajouter à nos péchés et à nos fautes. Nous sommes déjà bien coupables, et la colère ardente de l'Eternel est sur Israël.(F) 2Ch 28:13 und sprachen zu ihnen: Ihr sollt die Gefangenen nicht hereinbringen; denn ihr gedenkt nur, Schuld vor dem HERRN über uns zu bringen, auf daß ihr unsrer Sünden und Schuld desto mehr macht; denn es ist schon der Schuld zu viel und der Zorn über Israel ergrimmt.(D) 2Ch 28:13 καὶ εἶπαν αὐτοῖς οὐ μὴ εἰσαγάγητε τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ὧδε πρὸς ἡμᾶς ὅτι εἰς τὸ ἁμαρτάνειν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς ὑμεῖς λέγετε προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ἡμῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν ἄγνοιαν ὅτι πολλὴ ἡ ἁμαρτία ἡμῶν καὶ ὀργὴ θυμοῦ κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ(lxx) 2Ch 28:13 and said to them, "You shall not bring the captives here, for we already have offended the Lord.
