Today's Date: ======= 2 Chronicles 31:1 ============ 2Ch 31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah, broke the pillars in pieces, cut down the Asherim and pulled down the high places and the altars throughout all Judah and Benjamin, as well as in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the sons of Israel returned to their cities, each to his possession.(nasb) 2Ch 31:1 Cumque hæc fuissent rite celebrata, egressus est omnis Israël qui inventus fuerat in urbibus Juda, et fregerunt simulacra, succideruntque lucos, demoliti sunt excelsa, et altaria destruxerunt, non solum de universo Juda et Benjamin, sed et de Ephraim quoque et Manasse, donec penitus everterent: reversique sunt omnes filii Israël in possessiones et civitates suas.(vulgate) 2 Crónicas 31:1 Hechas todas estas cosas, todos los de Israel que habían estado presentes, salieron por las ciudades de Judá, y quebraron las estatuas y destruyeron las imágenes de Asera, y derribaron los lugares altos y los altares por todo Judá y Benjamín, y también en Efraín y Manasés, hasta acabarlo todo. ἐξομολογεῖσθαι καὶ λειτουργεῖν ἐν ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς οἴκου κυρίου(lxx) 2Ch 31:2 And Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, each man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and peace offerings, to serve, to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:3 ============ 2Ch 31:3 He also appointed the king's portion of his goods for the burnt offerings, namely, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the fixed festivals, as it is written in the law of the Lord.(nasb) 2Ch 31:3 Pars autem regis erat, ut de propria ejus substantia offerretur holocaustum, mane semper et vespere: also appointed a portion of his possessions for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and the New Moons and the set feasts, as it is the Levites, that they might devote themselves to the Law of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:5 ============ 2Ch 31:5 As soon as the order spread, the sons of Israel provided in abundance the first fruits of grain, new wine, oil, honey and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of all.(nasb) 2Ch 31:5 Quod cum percrebruisset in auribus multitudinis, προσέταξεν τὸν λόγον ἐπλεόνασαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπαρχὴν σίτου καὶ οἴνου καὶ ἐλαίου καὶ μέλιτος καὶ πᾶν γένημα ἀγροῦ καὶ ἐπιδέκατα πάντα εἰς πλῆθος ἤνεγκαν(lxx) 2Ch 31:5 As soon as the commandment was circulated, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field; and they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:6 ============ 2Ch 31:6 The sons of Israel and Judah who lived in the cities of Judah also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of sacred gifts which were consecrated to the Lord their God, and placed them in heaps.(nasb) 2Ch 31:6 Sed et filii Israël et Juda qui habitabant in urbibus Juda, obtulerunt decimas boum et ovium, decimasque the contributions began to be brought into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat with plenty left over, for the Lord has blessed His people, and this great quantity is left over."(nasb) 2Ch ηὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ κατελίπομεν ἔτι τὸ πλῆθος τοῦτο(lxx) 2Ch 31:10 And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, "Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance."(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:11 ============ 2Ch 31:11 Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare rooms in the house of the Lord, and they prepared them.(nasb) 2Ch 31:11 Præcepit igitur Ezechias ut præpararent horrea in domo Domini. Und sie bereiteten zu(D) 2Ch 31:11 καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ἑτοιμάσαι παστοφόρια εἰς οἶκον κυρίου καὶ ἡτοίμασαν(lxx) 2Ch 31:11 Now Hezekiah commanded them to prepare rooms in the house of the Lord, and they prepared them.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:12 ============ 2Ch 31:12 They faithfully brought in the contributions and the tithes and the consecrated things; and Conaniah the Levite was the officer in charge of them and his brother Shimei was second.(nasb) 2Ch 31:12 intulerunt tam primitias quam decimas, et quæcumque voverant, fideliter. his brother was the next.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 31:13 ============ 2Ch 31:13 Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath and Benaiah were overseers under the authority of Conaniah and Shimei his brother by the appointment of King Hezekiah, and Azariah was the chief officer of the house of God.(nasb) 2Ch 31:13 post quem Jahiel, et Azarias, et Nahath, et
