and plant gardens and eat their produce.(nasb) Jer 29:5 Ædificate domos, et habitate: et plantate hortos, et comedite fructum eorum.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:5 Edificad casas, y morad; y plantad huertos, y comed del fruto de ellos;(E) Jérémie 29:5 Bâtissez des maisons, et habitez-les; plantez des jardins, et mangez-en les fruits.(F) Jer 29:5 Bauet Häuser, darin ihr wohnen möget, pflanzet Gärten, daraus ihr Früchte essen möget;(D) Jer 29:5 ἥκει φαλάκρωμα ἐπὶ Γάζαν ἀπερρίφη Ἀσκαλὼν καὶ οἱ κατάλοιποι Ενακιμ ἕως τίνος κόψεις(lxx) Jer 29:5 Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:6 ============ Jer 29:6 Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; and multiply there and do not decrease.(nasb) Jer 29:6 Accipite uxores, et generate filios et filias: et date filiis vestris uxores, et filias vestras date viris, et pariant filios et filias: et multiplicamini ibi, et nolite esse pauci numero.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:6 casaos, y engendrad hijos e hijas; dad esposas a vuestros hijos, y dad maridos a vuestras hijas, para que den a luz hijos e hijas; para que os multipliquéis ahí, y no os disminuyáis.(E) Jérémie 29:6 Prenez des femmes, et engendrez des fils et des filles; prenez des femmes pour vos fils, et donnez des maris à vos filles, afin qu'elles enfantent des fils et des filles; multipliez là où vous êtes, et ne diminuez pas.(F) Jer 29:6 nehmet Weiber und zeuget Söhne und Töchter; nehmet euren Söhnen Weiber und gebet euren Töchtern Männern, daß sie Söhne und Töchter zeugen; mehret euch daselbst, daß euer nicht wenig sei.(D) Jer 29:6 ἡ μάχαιρα τοῦ κυρίου ἕως τίνος οὐχ ἡσυχάσεις ἀποκατάστηθι εἰς τὸν κολεόν σου ἀνάπαυσαι καὶ ἐπάρθητι(lxx) Jer 29:6 Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters--that you may be increased there, and not diminished.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:7 ============ Jer 29:7 Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.'(nasb) Jer 29:7 Et quærite pacem civitatis ad quam transmigrare vos feci, et orate pro ea ad Dominum, quia in pace illius erit pax vobis.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:7 Y procurad la paz de la ciudad a la cual os hice llevar cautivos, y rogad por ella a Jehová; porque en su paz tendréis vosotros paz.(E) Jérémie 29:7 Recherchez le bien de la ville où je vous ai menés en captivité, et priez l'Eternel en sa faveur, parce que votre bonheur dépend du sien.(F) Jer 29:7 Suchet der Stadt Bestes, dahin ich euch habe lassen wegführen, und betet für sie zum HERRN; denn wenn's ihr wohl geht, so geht's auch euch wohl.(D) Jer 29:7 πῶς ἡσυχάσει καὶ κύριος ἐνετείλατο αὐτῇ ἐπὶ τὴν Ἀσκαλῶνα καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς παραθαλασσίους ἐπὶ τὰς καταλοίπους ἐπεγερθῆναι(lxx) Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:8 ============ Jer 29:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream.(nasb) Jer 29:8 Hæc enim dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Non vos seducant prophetæ vestri qui sunt in medio vestrum, et divini vestri, et ne attendatis ad somnia vestra quæ vos somniatis:(vulgate) Jeremías 29:8 Porque así dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: No os engañen vuestros profetas que están entre vosotros, ni vuestros adivinos; ni miréis a vuestros sueños que soñáis.(E) Jérémie 29:8 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Ne vous laissez pas tromper par vos prophètes qui sont au milieu de vous, et par vos devins, n'écoutez pas vos songeurs dont vous provoquez les songes!(F) Jer 29:8 Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Laßt euch die Propheten, die bei euch sind, und die Wahrsager nicht betrügen und gehorcht euren Träumen nicht, die euch träumen.(D) Jer 29:8 --(lxx) Jer 29:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:9 ============ Jer 29:9 For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,' declares the Lord.(nasb) Jer 29:9 quia falso ipsi prophetant vobis in nomine meo, et non misi eos, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:9 Porque falsamente os profetizan ellos en mi nombre: Yo no los envié, dice Jehová.(E) Jérémie 29:9 Car c'est le mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent en mon nom. Je ne les ai point envoyés, dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 29:9 Denn sie weissagen euch falsch in meinem Namen; ich habe sie nicht gesandt, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 29:9 --(lxx) Jer 29:9 For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:10 ============ Jer 29:10 "For thus says the Lord, 'When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.(nasb) Jer 29:10 Quia hæc dicit Dominus: Cum cœperint impleri in Babylone septuaginta anni, visitabo vos, et suscitabo super vos verbum meum bonum, ut reducam vos ad locum istum.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:10 Porque así dice Jehová: Cuando en Babilonia se cumplieren los setenta años, yo os visitaré, y cumpliré sobre vosotros mi buena palabra, para volveros a este lugar.(E) Jérémie 29:10 Mais voici ce que dit l'Eternel: Dès que soixante-dix ans seront écoulés pour Babylone, je me souviendrai de vous, et j'accomplirai à votre égard ma bonne parole, en vous ramenant dans ce lieu.(F) Jer 29:10 Denn so spricht der HERR: Wenn zu Babel siebzig Jahre aus sind, so will ich euch besuchen und will mein gnädiges Wort über euch erwecken, daß ich euch wieder an diesen Ort bringe.(D) Jer 29:10 --(lxx) Jer 29:10 For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:11 ============ Jer 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.(nasb) Jer 29:11 Ego enim scio cogitationes quas ego cogito super vos, ait Dominus, cogitationes pacis et non afflictionis, ut dem vobis finem et patientiam.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:11 Porque yo sé los pensamientos que tengo acerca de vosotros, dice Jehová, pensamientos de paz, y no de mal, para daros el fin que esperáis.(E) Jérémie 29:11 Car je connais les projets que j'ai formés sur vous, dit l'Eternel, projets de paix et non de malheur, afin de vous donner un avenir et de l'espérance.(F) Jer 29:11 Denn ich weiß wohl, was ich für Gedanken über euch habe, spricht der HERR: Gedanken des Friedens und nicht des Leidens, daß ich euch gebe das Ende, des ihr wartet.(D) Jer 29:11 --(lxx) Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:12 ============ Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.(nasb) Jer 29:12 Et invocabitis me, et ibitis: et orabitis me, et ego exaudiam vos.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:12 Entonces me invocaréis, y vendréis y oraréis a mí, y yo os oiré;(E) Jérémie 29:12 Vous m'invoquerez, et vous partirez; vous me prierez, et je vous exaucerai.(F) Jer 29:12 Und ihr werdet mich anrufen und hingehen und mich bitten, und ich will euch erhören.(D) Jer 29:12 --(lxx) Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:13 ============ Jer 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(nasb) Jer 29:13 Quæretis me, et invenietis, cum quæsieritis me in toto corde vestro.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:13 y me buscaréis y hallaréis, porque me buscaréis de todo vuestro corazón.(E) Jérémie 29:13 Vous me chercherez, et vous me trouverez, si vous me cherchez de tout votre coeur.(F) Jer 29:13 Ihr werdet mich suchen und finden. Denn so ihr mich von ganzem Herzen suchen werdet,(D) Jer 29:13 --(lxx) Jer 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:14 ============ Jer 29:14 I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'(nasb) Jer 29:14 Et inveniar a vobis, ait Dominus: et reducam captivitatem vestram, et congregabo vos de universis gentibus et de cunctis locis ad quæ expuli vos, dicit Dominus, et reverti vos faciam de loco ad quem transmigrare vos feci.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:14 Y seré hallado de vosotros, dice Jehová, y haré volver vuestra cautividad, y os reuniré de todas las naciones, y de todos los lugares adonde os arrojé, dice Jehová; y os haré volver al lugar de donde os hice ser llevados.(E) Jérémie 29:14 Je me laisserai trouver par vous, dit l'Eternel, et je ramènerai vos captifs; je vous rassemblerai de toutes les nations et de tous les lieux où je vous ai chassés, dit l'Eternel, et je vous ramènerai dans le lieu d'où je vous ai fait aller en captivité.(F) Jer 29:14 so will ich mich von euch finden lassen, spricht der HERR, und will euer Gefängnis wenden und euch sammeln aus allen Völkern und von allen Orten, dahin ich euch verstoßen habe, spricht der HERR, und will euch wiederum an diesen Ort bringen, von dem ich euch habe lassen wegführen.(D) Jer 29:14 --(lxx) Jer 29:14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:15 ============ Jer 29:15 "Because you have said, 'The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon'--(nasb) Jer 29:15 Quia dixistis: Suscitavit nobis Dominus prophetas in Babylone:(vulgate) Jeremías 29:15 Mas habéis dicho: Jehová nos ha levantado profetas en Babilonia.(E) Jérémie 29:15 Cependant vous dites: Dieu nous a suscité des prophètes à Babylone!(F) Jer 29:15 Zwar ihr meint, der HERR habe euch zu Babel Propheten erweckt.(D) Jer 29:15 --(lxx) Jer 29:15 Because you have said, "The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon"--(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:16 ============ Jer 29:16 for thus says the Lord concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, and concerning all the people who dwell in this city, your brothers who did not go with you into exile--(nasb) Jer 29:16 quia hæc dicit Dominus ad regem qui sedet super solium David, et ad omnem populum habitatorem urbis hujus, ad fratres vestros qui non sunt egressi vobiscum in transmigrationem:(vulgate) Jeremías 29:16 Pero así dice Jehová, del rey que está sentado sobre el trono de David, y de todo el pueblo que mora en esta ciudad, de vuestros hermanos que no salieron con vosotros en cautiverio;(E) Jérémie 29:16 Ainsi parle l'Eternel sur le roi qui occupe le trône de David, sur tout le peuple qui habite cette ville, sur vos frères qui ne sont point allés avec vous en captivité;(F) Jer 29:16 Aber also spricht der HERR vom König, der auf Davids Stuhl sitzt, und von euren Brüdern, die nicht mit euch gefangen hinausgezogen sind,(D) Jer 29:16 --(lxx) Jer 29:16 therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, concerning all the people who dwell in this city, and concerning your brethren who have not gone out with you into captivity--(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:17 ============ Jer 29:17 thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Behold, I am sending upon them the sword, famine and pestilence, and I will make them like split-open figs that cannot be eaten due to rottenness.(nasb) Jer 29:17 hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Ecce mittam in eos gladium, et famem, et pestem: et ponam eos quasi ficus malas, quæ comedi non possunt eo quod pessimæ sint:(vulgate) Jeremías 29:17 así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí, yo envío contra ellos espada, hambre y pestilencia, y los pondré como los malos higos, que de malos no se pueden comer.(E) Jérémie 29:17 ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Voici, j'enverrai parmi eux l'épée, la famine et la peste, et je les rendrai semblables à des figues affreuses qui ne peuvent être mangées à cause de leur mauvaise qualité.(F) Jer 29:17 ja, also spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Siehe, ich will Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz unter sie schicken und will mit ihnen umgehen wie mit den schlechten Feigen, davor einen ekelt zu essen,(D) Jer 29:17 --(lxx) Jer 29:17 thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, I will send on them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like rotten figs that cannot be eaten, they are so bad.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:18 ============ Jer 29:18 I will pursue them with the sword, with famine and with pestilence; and I will make them a terror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse and a horror and a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,(nasb) Jer 29:18 et persequar eos in gladio, et in fame, et in pestilentia: et dabo eos in vexationem universis regnis terræ: in maledictionem, et in stuporem, et in sibilum, et in opprobrium cunctis gentibus ad quas ego ejeci eos,(vulgate) Jeremías 29:18 Y los perseguiré con espada, con hambre y con pestilencia; y los haré [objeto de] aversión a todos los reinos de la tierra, de maldición y de espanto, y de escarnio y de afrenta a todas las naciones a las cuales los habré arrojado;(E) Jérémie 29:18 Je les poursuivrai par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste, je les rendrai un objet d'effroi pour tous les royaumes de la terre, un sujet de malédiction, de désolation, de moquerie et d'opprobre, parmi toutes les nations où je les chasserai,(F) Jer 29:18 und will hinter ihnen her sein mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz und will sie in keinem Königreich auf Erden bleiben lassen, daß sie sollen zum Fluch, zum Wunder, zum Hohn und zum Spott unter allen Völkern werden, dahin ich sie verstoßen werde,(D) Jer 29:18 --(lxx) Jer 29:18 And I will pursue them with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence; and I will deliver them to trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth--to be a curse, an astonishment, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 29:19 ============ Jer 29:19 because they have not listened to My words, 'declares the Lord, 'which I sent to them again and again by My servants the prophets; but you did not listen,' declares the Lord.(nasb) Jer 29:19 eo quod non audierint verba mea, dicit Dominus, quæ misit ad eos per servos meos prophetas, de nocte consurgens et mittens: et non audistis, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Jeremías 29:19 Porque no oyeron mis palabras, dice Jehová, que les envié por mis siervos los profetas, madrugando en enviarlos; et ils n'ont pas écouté, dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 29:19 darum daß sie meinen Worten nicht gehorchen, spricht der HERR, der ich meine Knechte, die Propheten, zu euch stets gesandt habe; aber ihr wolltet nicht hören, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 29:19 --(lxx) Jer 29:19 because they have not heeded My words, says the Lord, which I sent to them by My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them;
