Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 33:1 ============ Jer 33:1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still confined in the court of the guard, saying,(nasb) Jer 33:1 Et factum est verbum Domini ad Jeremiam secundo, cum adhuc clausus esset in atrio carceris, dicens:(vulgate) Jeremías 33:1 Y vino palabra de Jehová a Jeremías la segunda vez, estando él aún preso en el patio de la cárcel, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 33:1 La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jérémie une seconde fois, en ces mots, pendant qu'il était encore enfermé dans la cour de la prison:(F) Jer 33:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia zum andernmal, da er noch im Vorhof des Gefängnisses verschlossen war, und sprach:(D) Jer 33:1 ἐν ἀρχῇ βασιλέως Ιωακιμ υἱοῦ Ιωσια ἐγενήθη ὁ λόγος οὗτος παρὰ κυρίου(lxx) Jer 33:1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:2 ============ Jer 33:2 "Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it, the Lord is His name,(nasb) Jer 33:2 [Hæc dicit Dominus, qui facturus est, et formaturus illud, et paraturus: Dominus nomen ejus:(vulgate) Jeremías 33:2 Así dice Jehová que hizo [la tierra], Jehová que la formó para afirmarla; Jehová [es] su nombre:(E) Jérémie 33:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel, qui fait ces choses, L'Eternel, qui les conçoit et les exécute, Lui, dont le nom est l'Eternel:(F) Jer 33:2 So spricht der HERR, der solches macht, tut und ausrichtet, HERR ist sein Name:(D) Jer 33:2 οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος στῆθι ἐν αὐλῇ οἴκου κυρίου καὶ χρηματιεῖς ἅπασι τοῖς Ιουδαίοις καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς ἐρχομένοις προσκυνεῖν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἅπαντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς συνέταξά σοι αὐτοῖς χρηματίσαι μὴ ἀφέλῃς ῥῆμα(lxx) Jer 33:2 "Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name):(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:3 ============ Jer 33:3 'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'(nasb) Jer 33:3 Clama ad me, et exaudiam te, et annuntiabo tibi grandia et firma quæ nescis.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:3 Clama a mí, y yo te responderé, y te enseñaré cosas grandes y difíciles que tú no conoces.(E) Jérémie 33:3 Invoque-moi, et je te répondrai; Je t'annoncerai de grandes choses, des choses cachées, Que tu ne connais pas.(F) Jer 33:3 Rufe mich an, so will ich dir antworten und will dir anzeigen große und gewaltige Dinge, die du nicht weißt.(D) Jer 33:3 ἴσως ἀκούσονται καὶ ἀποστραφήσονται ἕκαστος ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς καὶ παύσομαι ἀπὸ τῶν κακῶν ὧν ἐγὼ λογίζομαι τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς ἕνεκεν τῶν πονηρῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτῶν(lxx) Jer 33:3 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:4 ============ Jer 33:4 For thus says the Lord God of Israel concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah which are broken down to make a defense against the siege ramps and against the sword,(nasb) Jer 33:4 Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël ad domos urbis hujus, et ad domos regis Juda, quæ destructæ sunt, et ad munitiones, et ad gladium(vulgate) Jeremías 33:4 Porque así dice Jehová, Dios de Israel, acerca de las casas de esta ciudad, y de las casas de los reyes de Judá, derribadas con arietes y con hachas:(E) Jérémie 33:4 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, Sur les maisons de cette ville Et sur les maisons des rois de Juda, Qui seront abattues par les terrasses et par l'épée,(F) Jer 33:4 Denn so spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, von den Häusern dieser Stadt und von den Häusern der Könige Juda's, welche abgebrochen sind, Bollwerke zu machen zur Wehr.(D) Jer 33:4 καὶ ἐρεῖς οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος ἐὰν μὴ ἀκούσητέ μου τοῦ πορεύεσθαι ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις μου οἷς ἔδωκα κατὰ πρόσωπον ὑμῶν(lxx) Jer 33:4 "For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been pulled down to fortify against the siege mounds and the sword:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:5 ============ Jer 33:5 'While they are coming to fight with the Chaldeans and to fill them with the corpses of men whom I have slain in My anger and in My wrath, and I have hidden My face from this city because of all their wickedness:(nasb) Jer 33:5 venientium ut dimicent cum Chaldæis, et impleant eas cadaveribus hominum quos percussi in furore meo et in indignatione mea, abscondens faciem meam a civitate hac, propter omnem malitiam eorum:(vulgate) Jeremías 33:5 (Porque vinieron para pelear con los caldeos, para llenarlas de cuerpos de hombres muertos, a los cuales herí yo con mi furor y con mi ira, pues yo escondí mi rostro de esta ciudad, a causa de toda su maldad.)(E) Jérémie 33:5 Quand on s'avancera pour combattre les Chaldéens, Et qu'elles seront remplies des cadavres des hommes Que je frapperai dans ma colère et dans ma fureur, Et à cause de la méchanceté desquels je cacherai ma face à cette ville;(F) Jer 33:5 Und von denen, so hereingekommen sind, wider die Chaldäer zu streiten, daß sie diese füllen müssen mit Leichnamen der Menschen, welche ich in meinem Zorn und Grimm erschlagen will; denn ich habe mein Angesicht vor dieser Stadt verborgen um all ihrer Bosheit willen:(D) Jer 33:5 εἰσακούειν τῶν λόγων τῶν παίδων μου τῶν προφητῶν οὓς ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω πρὸς ὑμᾶς ὄρθρου καὶ ἀπέστειλα καὶ οὐκ εἰσηκούσατέ μου(lxx) Jer 33:5 'They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but only to fill their places with the dead bodies of men whom I will slay in My anger and My fury, all for whose wickedness I have hidden My face from this city.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:6 ============ Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.(nasb) Jer 33:6 Ecce ego obducam eis cicatricem et sanitatem, et curabo eos, et revelabo illis deprecationem pacis et veritatis.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:6 He aquí que yo le hago subir sanidad y medicina; y los curaré, y les revelaré abundancia de paz y de verdad.(E) Jérémie 33:6 Voici, je lui donnerai la guérison et la santé, je les guérirai, Et je leur ouvrirai une source abondante de paix et de fidélité.(F) Jer 33:6 Siehe, ich will sie heilen und gesund machen und will ihnen Frieden und Treue die Fülle gewähren.(D) Jer 33:6 καὶ δώσω τὸν οἶκον τοῦτον ὥσπερ Σηλωμ καὶ τὴν πόλιν δώσω εἰς κατάραν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν πάσης τῆς γῆς(lxx) Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:7 ============ Jer 33:7 I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and will rebuild them as they were at first.(nasb) Jer 33:7 Et convertam conversionem Juda et conversionem Jerusalem, et ædificabo eos sicut a principio.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:7 Y haré volver la cautividad de Judá, y la cautividad de Israel, y los edificaré como al principio.(E) Jérémie 33:7 Je ramènerai les captifs de Juda et les captifs d'Israël, Et je les rétablirai comme autrefois.(F) Jer 33:7 Denn ich will das Gefängnis Juda's und das Gefängnis Israels wenden und will sie bauen wie von Anfang(D) Jer 33:7 καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ ψευδοπροφῆται καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς τοῦ Ιερεμιου λαλοῦντος τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου(lxx) Jer 33:7 And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:8 ============ Jer 33:8 I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against Me and by which they have transgressed against Me.(nasb) Jer 33:8 Et emundabo illos ab omni iniquitate sua in qua peccaverunt mihi, et propitius ero cunctis iniquitatibus eorum, in quibus dereliquerunt mihi et spreverunt me.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:8 Y los limpiaré de toda su maldad con que pecaron contra mí; y perdonaré todos sus pecados con que contra mí pecaron, y con que contra mí se rebelaron.(E) Jérémie 33:8 Je les purifierai de toutes les iniquités qu'ils ont commises contre moi, Je leur pardonnerai toutes les iniquités par lesquelles ils m'ont offensé, Par lesquelles ils se sont révoltés contre moi.(F) Jer 33:8 und will sie reinigen von aller Missetat, damit sie wider mich gesündigt haben, und will ihnen vergeben alle Missetaten, damit sie wider mich gesündigt und übertreten haben.(D) Jer 33:8 καὶ ἐγένετο Ιερεμιου παυσαμένου λαλοῦντος πάντα ἃ συνέταξεν αὐτῷ κύριος λαλῆσαι παντὶ τῷ λαῷ καὶ συνελάβοσαν αὐτὸν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ ψευδοπροφῆται καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς λέγων θανάτῳ ἀποθανῇ(lxx) Jer 33:8 I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:9 ============ Jer 33:9 It will be to Me a name of joy, praise and glory before all the nations of the earth which will hear of all the good that I do for them, and they will fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for it.'(nasb) Jer 33:9 Et erit mihi in nomen, et in gaudium, et in laudem, et in exsultationem cunctis gentibus terræ, quæ audierint omnia bona quæ ego facturus sum eis: et pavebunt et turbabuntur in universis bonis, et in omni pace quam ego faciam eis.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:9 Y me será a mí por nombre de gozo, de alabanza y de gloria, entre todas las naciones de la tierra, que habrán oído todo el bien que yo les hago; y temerán y temblarán de todo el bien y de toda la paz que yo les haré.(E) Jérémie 33:9 Cette ville sera pour moi un sujet de joie, de louange et de gloire, Parmi toutes les nations de la terre, Qui apprendront tout le bien que je leur ferai; Elles seront étonnées et émues de tout le bonheur Et de toute la prospérité que je leur accorderai.(F) Jer 33:9 Und das soll mir ein fröhlicher Name, Ruhm und Preis sein unter allen Heiden auf Erden, wenn sie hören werden all das Gute, das ich ihnen tue. Und sie werden sich verwundern und entsetzen über all dem Guten und über all dem Frieden, den ich ihnen geben will.(D) Jer 33:9 ὅτι ἐπροφήτευσας τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου λέγων ὥσπερ Σηλωμ ἔσται ὁ οἶκος οὗτος καὶ ἡ πόλις αὕτη ἐρημωθήσεται ἀπὸ κατοικούντων καὶ ἐξεκκλησιάσθη πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ἐπὶ Ιερεμιαν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου(lxx) Jer 33:9 Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:10 ============ Jer 33:10 "Thus says the Lord, 'Yet again there will be heard in this place, of which you say, "It is a waste, without man and without beast," that is, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,(nasb) Jer 33:10 Hæc dicit Dominus: Adhuc audietur in loco isto quem vos dicitis esse desertum, eo quod non sit homo nec jumentum in civitatibus Juda, et foris Jerusalem, quæ desolatæ sunt, absque homine, et absque habitatore, et absque pecore,(vulgate) Jeremías 33:10 Así dice Jehová: En este lugar, del cual decís [que está] desierto, sin hombres y sin animales, en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén, que están asoladas, sin hombre y sin morador y sin animal, aún se ha de oír(E) Jérémie 33:10 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: On entendra encore dans ce lieu Dont vous dites: Il est désert, il n'y a plus d'hommes, plus de bêtes; On entendra dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, Dévastées, privées d'hommes, d'habitants, de bêtes,(F) Jer 33:10 So spricht der HERR: An diesem Ort, davon ihr sagt: Er ist wüst, weil weder Leute noch Vieh in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem bleiben, die so verwüstet sind, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin sind,(D) Jer 33:10 καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ ἄρχοντες Ιουδα τὸν λόγον τοῦτον καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἐξ οἴκου τοῦ βασιλέως εἰς οἶκον κυρίου καὶ ἐκάθισαν ἐν προθύροις πύλης κυρίου τῆς καινῆς(lxx) Jer 33:10 "Thus says the Lord: 'Again there shall be heard in this place--of which you say, "It is desolate, without man and without beast"--in the cities of Judah, in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:11 ============ Jer 33:11 the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, "Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting"; and of those who bring a thank offering into the house of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were at first, 'says the Lord.(nasb) Jer 33:11 vox gaudii et vox lætitiæ, vox sponsi et vox sponsæ, vox dicentium: Confitemini Domino exercituum, quoniam bonus Dominus, quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus: et portantium vota in domum Domini: reducam enim conversionem terræ sicut a principio, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:11 voz de gozo y voz de alegría, voz de desposado y voz de desposada, voz de los que digan: Alabad a Jehová de los ejércitos, porque Jehová es bueno, porque para siempre es su misericordia; voz de los que traigan alabanza a la casa de Jehová. Porque volveré a traer la cautividad de la tierra como al principio, dice Jehová.(E) Jérémie 33:11 Les cris de réjouissance et les cris d'allégresse, Les chants du fiancé et les chants de la fiancée, La voix de ceux qui disent: Louez l'Eternel des armées, Car l'Eternel est bon, car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! La voix de ceux qui offrent des sacrifices d'actions de grâces Dans la maison de l'Eternel. Car je ramènerai les captifs du pays, je les rétablirai comme autrefois, Dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 33:11 wird man dennoch wiederum hören Geschrei von Freude und Wonne, die Stimme des Bräutigams und der Braut und die Stimme derer, so da sagen: "Danket dem HERRN Zebaoth, denn er ist freundlich, und seine Güte währet ewiglich", wenn sie Dankopfer bringen zum Hause des HERRN. Denn ich will des Landes Gefängnis wenden wie von Anfang, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 33:11 καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ ψευδοπροφῆται πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ κρίσις θανάτου τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ ὅτι ἐπροφήτευσεν κατὰ τῆς πόλεως ταύτης καθὼς ἠκούσατε ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν ὑμῶν(lxx) Jer 33:11 the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: "Praise the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His mercy endures forever"-- and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,' says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:12 ============ Jer 33:12 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'There will again be in this place which is waste, without man or beast, and in all its cities, a habitation of shepherds who rest their flocks.(nasb) Jer 33:12 Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Adhuc erit in loco isto deserto, absque homine et absque jumento, et in cunctis civitatibus ejus, habitaculum pastorum accubantium gregum.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:12 Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: En este lugar desierto, sin hombre y sin animal, y en todas sus ciudades, aún habrá cabañas de pastores que hagan descansar a [sus] rebaños.(E) Jérémie 33:12 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Il y aura encore dans ce lieu Qui est désert, sans hommes ni bêtes, Et dans toutes ses villes, Il y aura des demeures pour les bergers Faisant reposer leurs troupeaux.(F) Jer 33:12 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: An diesem Ort, der so wüst ist, daß weder Leute noch Vieh darin sind, und in allen seinen Städten werden dennoch wiederum Wohnungen sein der Hirten, die da Herden weiden.(D) Jer 33:12 καὶ εἶπεν Ιερεμιας πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ λέγων κύριος ἀπέστειλέν με προφητεῦσαι ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦτον καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους οὓς ἠκούσατε(lxx) Jer 33:12 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:13 ============ Jer 33:13 In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the Negev, in the land of Benjamin, in the environs of Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah, the flocks will again pass under the hands of the one who numbers them, 'says the Lord.(nasb) Jer 33:13 In civitatibus montuosis, et in civitatibus campestribus, et in civitatibus quæ ad austrum sunt, et in terra Benjamin, et in circuitu Jerusalem, et in civitatibus Juda, adhuc transibunt greges ad manum numerantis, ait Dominus.]~(vulgate) Jeremías 33:13 En las ciudades de las montañas, en las ciudades de los campos, y en las ciudades del Neguev, y en tierra de Benjamín, y alrededor de Jerusalén y en las ciudades de Judá, aun pasarán ganados por las manos de los que [las] cuentan, dice Jehová.(E) Jérémie 33:13 Dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes de la plaine, Dans les villes du midi, Dans le pays de Benjamin et aux environs de Jérusalem, Et dans les villes de Juda, Les brebis passeront encore sous la main de celui qui les compte, Dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 33:13 In Städten auf den Gebirgen und in Städten in Gründen und in Städten gegen Mittag, im Lande Benjamin und um Jerusalem her und in Städten Juda's sollen dennoch wiederum die Herden gezählt aus und ein gehen, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 33:13 καὶ νῦν βελτίους ποιήσατε τὰς ὁδοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ ἔργα ὑμῶν καὶ ἀκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου καὶ παύσεται κύριος ἀπὸ τῶν κακῶν ὧν ἐλάλησεν ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς(lxx) Jer 33:13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts them,' says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:14 ============ Jer 33:14 'Behold, days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah.(nasb) Jer 33:14 [Ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus, et suscitabo verbum bonum quod locutus sum ad domum Israël et ad domum Juda.(vulgate) Jeremías 33:14 He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que yo confirmaré la palabra buena que he hablado a la casa de Israel y a la casa de Judá.(E) Jérémie 33:14 Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, Où j'accomplirai la bonne parole Que j'ai dite sur la maison d'Israël et sur la maison de Juda.(F) Jer 33:14 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß ich das gnädige Wort erwecken will, welches ich dem Hause Israel und dem Hause Juda geredet habe.(D) Jer 33:14 καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐν χερσὶν ὑμῶν ποιήσατέ μοι ὡς συμφέρει καὶ ὡς βέλτιον ὑμῖν(lxx) Jer 33:14 'Behold, the days are coming,' says the Lord, 'that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 33:15 ============ Jer 33:15 In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth.(nasb) Jer 33:15 In diebus illis et in tempore illo germinare faciam David germen justitiæ, et faciet judicium et justitiam in terra:(vulgate) Jeremías 33:15 En aquellos días y en aquel tiempo haré producir a David Renuevo de justicia, y hará juicio y justicia en la tierra.(E) Jérémie 33:15 En ces jours et en ce temps-là, Je ferai éclore à David un germe de justice; Il pratiquera la justice et l'équité dans le pays.(F) Jer 33:15 In denselben Tagen und zu derselben Zeit will ich dem David ein gerechtes Gewächs aufgehen lassen, und er soll Recht und Gerechtigkeit anrichten auf Erden.(D) Jer 33:15 ἀλλ᾽ ἢ γνόντες γνώσεσθε ὅτι εἰ ἀναιρεῖτέ με αἷμα ἀθῷον δίδοτε ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν αὐτῇ ὅτι ἐν ἀληθείᾳ ἀπέσταλκέν με κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς λαλῆσαι εἰς τὰ ὦτα ὑμῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους(lxx) Jer 33:15 'In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David A Branch of righteousness;
