Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 9:1 ============ Eze 9:1 Then He cried out in my hearing with a loud voice saying, "Draw near, O executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand."(nasb) Eze 9:1 Et clamavit in auribus meis voce magna, dicens: Appropinquaverunt visitationes urbis, et unusquisque vas interfectionis habet in manu sua.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:1 Y clamó en mis oídos con gran voz, diciendo: Los verdugos de la ciudad han llegado, y cada uno [trae] en su mano su instrumento para destruir.(E) Ézéchiel 9:1 Puis il cria d'une voix forte à mes oreilles: Approchez, vous qui devez châtier la ville, chacun son instrument de destruction à la main!(F) Eze 9:1 Und er rief mit lauter Stimme vor meinen Ohren und sprach: Laßt herzukommen die Heimsuchung der Stadt, und ein jeglicher habe eine Mordwaffe in seiner Hand.(D) Eze 9:1 καὶ ἀνέκραγεν εἰς τὰ ὦτά μου φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγων ἤγγικεν ἡ ἐκδίκησις τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἕκαστος εἶχεν τὰ σκεύη τῆς ἐξολεθρεύσεως ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Eze 9:1 Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, "Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:2 ============ Eze 9:2 Behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his shattering weapon in his hand; and among them was a certain man clothed in linen with a writing case at his loins. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.(nasb) Eze 9:2 Et ecce sex viri veniebant de via portæ superioris, quæ respicit ad aquilonem, et uniuscujusque vas interitus in manu ejus: vir quoque unus in medio eorum vestitus erat lineis, et atramentarium scriptoris ad renes ejus: et ingressi sunt, et steterunt juxta altare æreum.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:2 Y he aquí que seis varones venían del camino de la puerta de arriba que mira hacia el norte, y cada uno traía en su mano su instrumento para destruir. Y entre ellos [había] un varón vestido de lino, el cual traía a su cintura un tintero de escribano; y entrados, se pararon junto al altar de bronce.(E) Ézéchiel 9:2 Et voici, six hommes arrivèrent par le chemin de la porte supérieure du côté du septentrion, chacun son instrument de destruction à la main. Il y avait au milieu d'eux un homme vêtu de lin, et portant une écritoire à la ceinture. Ils vinrent se placer près de l'autel d'airain.(F) Eze 9:2 Und siehe, es kamen sechs Männer auf dem Wege vom Obertor her, das gegen Mitternacht steht; und ein jeglicher hatte eine schädliche Waffe in seiner Hand. Aber es war einer unter ihnen der hatte Leinwand an und ein Schreibzeug an seiner Seite. Und sie gingen hinein und traten neben den ehernen Altar.(D) Eze 9:2 καὶ ἰδοὺ ἓξ ἄνδρες ἤρχοντο ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ τῆς πύλης τῆς ὑψηλῆς τῆς βλεπούσης πρὸς βορρᾶν καὶ ἑκάστου πέλυξ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἷς ἀνὴρ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἐνδεδυκὼς ποδήρη καὶ ζώνη σαπφείρου ἐπὶ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰσήλθοσαν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐχόμενοι τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ χαλκοῦ(lxx) Eze 9:2 And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer's inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:3 ============ Eze 9:3 Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub on which it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case.(nasb) Eze 9:3 Et gloria Domini Israël assumpta est de cherub, quæ erat super eum ad limen domus: et vocavit virum qui indutus erat lineis, et atramentarium scriptoris habebat in lumbis suis:(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:3 Y la gloria del Dios de Israel se alzó de sobre el querubín sobre el cual había estado, al umbral de la casa; y [Jehová] llamó al varón vestido de lino, que [tenía] a su cintura el tintero de escribano;(E) Ézéchiel 9:3 La gloire du Dieu d'Israël s'éleva du chérubin sur lequel elle était, et se dirigea vers le seuil de la maison; et il appela l'homme vêtu de lin, et portant une écritoire à la ceinture.(F) Eze 9:3 Und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels erhob sich von dem Cherub, über dem sie war, zu der Schwelle am Hause und rief dem, der die Leinwand anhatte und das Schreibzeug an seiner Seite.(D) Eze 9:3 καὶ δόξα θεοῦ τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀνέβη ἀπὸ τῶν χερουβιν ἡ οὖσα ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὸν ποδήρη ὃς εἶχεν ἐπὶ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ τὴν ζώνην(lxx) Eze 9:3 Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:4 ============ Eze 9:4 The Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst."(nasb) Eze 9:4 et dixit Dominus ad eum: Transi per mediam civitatem, in medio Jerusalem, et signa thau super frontes virorum gementium et dolentium super cunctis abominationibus quæ fiunt in medio ejus.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:4 y le dijo Jehová: Pasa por medio de la ciudad, por medio de Jerusalén, y pon una señal en la frente a los hombres que gimen y que claman a causa de todas las abominaciones que se hacen en medio de ella.(E) Ézéchiel 9:4 L'Eternel lui dit: Passe au milieu de la ville, au milieu de Jérusalem, et fais une marque sur le front des hommes qui soupirent et qui gémissent à cause de toutes les abominations qui s'y commettent.(F) Eze 9:4 Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Gehe durch die Stadt Jerusalem und zeichne mit einem Zeichen an die Stirn die Leute, so da seufzen und jammern über die Greuel, so darin geschehen.(D) Eze 9:4 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν δίελθε μέσην τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ δὸς τὸ σημεῖον ἐπὶ τὰ μέτωπα τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν καταστεναζόντων καὶ τῶν κατωδυνωμένων ἐπὶ πάσαις ταῖς ἀνομίαις ταῖς γινομέναις ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς(lxx) Eze 9:4 and the Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:5 ============ Eze 9:5 But to the others He said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare.(nasb) Eze 9:5 Et illis dixit, audiente me: Transite per civitatem sequentes eum, et percutite: non parcat oculus vester, neque misereamini:(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:5 Y a los otros dijo a mis oídos: Pasad por la ciudad en pos de él, y herid; no perdone vuestro ojo, ni tengáis misericordia.(E) Ézéchiel 9:5 Et, à mes oreilles, il dit aux autres: Passez après lui dans la ville, et frappez; que votre oeil soit sans pitié, et n'ayez point de miséricorde!(F) Eze 9:5 Zu jenen aber sprach er, daß ich's hörte: Gehet diesem nach durch die Stadt und schlaget drein; eure Augen sollen nicht schonen noch übersehen.(D) Eze 9:5 καὶ τούτοις εἶπεν ἀκούοντός μου πορεύεσθε ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ κόπτετε καὶ μὴ φείδεσθε τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν καὶ μὴ ἐλεήσητε(lxx) Eze 9:5 To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:6 ============ Eze 9:6 Utterly slay old men, young men, maidens, little children, and women, but do not touch any man on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary." So they started with the elders who were before the temple.(nasb) Eze 9:6 senem, adolescentulum et virginem, parvulum et mulieres interficite usque ad internecionem: omnem autem super quem videritis thau, ne occidatis: et a sanctuario meo incipite. Cœperunt ergo a viris senioribus, qui erant ante faciem domus.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:6 Matad viejos, jóvenes y vírgenes, niños y mujeres, hasta que no quede ninguno; mas a todo aquel sobre el cual hubiere señal, no llegaréis; y habéis de comenzar desde mi santuario. Comenzaron, pues, desde los varones ancianos que [estaban] delante del templo.(E) Ézéchiel 9:6 Tuez, détruisez les vieillards, les jeunes hommes, les vierges, les enfants et les femmes; mais n'approchez pas de quiconque aura sur lui la marque; et commencez par mon sanctuaire! Ils commencèrent par les anciens qui étaient devant la maison.(F) Eze 9:6 Erwürget Alte, Jünglinge, Jungfrauen, Kinder und Weiber, alles tot; aber die das Zeichen an sich haben, derer sollt ihr keinen anrühren. Fanget aber an an meinem Heiligtum! Und sie fingen an an den alten Leuten, so vor dem Hause waren.(D) Eze 9:6 πρεσβύτερον καὶ νεανίσκον καὶ παρθένον καὶ νήπια καὶ γυναῖκας ἀποκτείνατε εἰς ἐξάλειψιν ἐπὶ δὲ πάντας ἐφ᾽ οὕς ἐστιν τὸ σημεῖον μὴ ἐγγίσητε καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων μου ἄρξασθε καὶ ἤρξαντο ἀπὸ τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων οἳ ἦσαν ἔσω ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ(lxx) Eze 9:6 Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." So they began with the elders who were before the temple.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:7 ============ Eze 9:7 And He said to them, "Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" Thus they went out and struck down the people in the city.(nasb) Eze 9:7 Et dixit ad eos: Contaminate domum, et implete atria interfectis; egredimini. Et egressi sunt, et percutiebant eos qui erant in civitate.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:7 Y les dijo: Contaminad la casa, y llenad los atrios de muertos; salid. Y salieron, e hirieron en la ciudad.(E) Ézéchiel 9:7 Il leur dit: Souillez la maison, et remplissez de morts les parvis!... Sortez!... Ils sortirent, et ils frappèrent dans la ville.(F) Eze 9:7 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Verunreinigt das Haus und macht die Vorhöfe voll Erschlagener; gehet heraus! Und sie gingen heraus und schlugen in der Stadt.(D) Eze 9:7 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς μιάνατε τὸν οἶκον καὶ πλήσατε τὰς ὁδοὺς νεκρῶν ἐκπορευόμενοι καὶ κόπτετε(lxx) Eze 9:7 Then He said to them, "Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" And they went out and killed in the city.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:8 ============ Eze 9:8 As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out saying, "Alas, Lord God! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?"(nasb) Eze 9:8 Et cæde completa, remansi ego, ruique super faciem meam, et clamans aio: Heu! heu! heu! Domine Deus: ergone disperdes omnes reliquias Israël, effundens furorem tuum super Jerusalem?(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:8 Y aconteció que cuando ellos los herían y quedé yo [solo], me postré sobre mi rostro, y clamé y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿Has de destruir todo el remanente de Israel derramando tu furor sobre Jerusalén?(E) Ézéchiel 9:8 Comme ils frappaient, et que je restais encore, je tombai sur ma face, et je m'écriai: Ah! Seigneur Eternel, détruiras-tu tout ce qui reste d'Israël, en répandant ta fureur sur Jérusalem?(F) Eze 9:8 Und da sie ausgeschlagen hatten, war ich noch übrig. Und ich fiel auf mein Angesicht, schrie und sprach: Ach HERR HERR, willst du denn alle übrigen in Israel verderben, daß du deinen Zorn so ausschüttest über Jerusalem?(D) Eze 9:8 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ κόπτειν αὐτοὺς καὶ πίπτω ἐπὶ πρόσωπόν μου καὶ ἀνεβόησα καὶ εἶπα οἴμμοι κύριε ἐξαλείφεις σὺ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐκχέαι σε τὸν θυμόν σου ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Eze 9:8 So it was, that while they were killing them, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, and said, "Ah, Lord God! Will You destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out Your fury on Jerusalem?"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:9 ============ Eze 9:9 Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood and the city is full of perversion; for they say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!'(nasb) Eze 9:9 Et dixit ad me: Iniquitas domus Israël et Juda magna est nimis valde, et repleta est terra sanguinibus, et civitas repleta est aversione: dixerunt enim: Dereliquit Dominus terram, et Dominus non videt.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:9 Y me dijo: La maldad de la casa de Israel y de Judá [es] grande sobremanera, pues la tierra está llena de sangre, y la ciudad está llena de perversidad; porque han dicho: Jehová ha dejado la tierra, y Jehová no ve.(E) Ézéchiel 9:9 Il me répondit: L'iniquité de la maison d'Israël et de Juda est grande, excessive; le pays est rempli de meurtres, la ville est pleine d'injustice, car ils disent: L'Eternel a abandonné le pays, l'Eternel ne voit rien.(F) Eze 9:9 Und er sprach zu mir: Es ist die Missetat des Hauses Israel und Juda allzusehr groß; es ist eitel Blutschuld im Lande und Unrecht in der Stadt. Denn sie sprechen: Der HERR hat das Land verlassen, und der HERR sieht uns nicht.(D) Eze 9:9 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ἀδικία τοῦ οἴκου Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα μεμεγάλυνται σφόδρα σφόδρα ὅτι ἐπλήσθη ἡ γῆ λαῶν πολλῶν καὶ ἡ πόλις ἐπλήσθη ἀδικίας καὶ ἀκαθαρσίας ὅτι εἶπαν ἐγκαταλέλοιπεν κύριος τὴν γῆν οὐκ ἐφορᾷ ὁ κύριος(lxx) Eze 9:9 Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of bloodshed, and the city full of perversity; for they say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:10 ============ Eze 9:10 But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads."(nasb) Eze 9:10 Igitur et meus non parcet oculus, neque miserebor: viam eorum super caput eorum reddam.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:10 Así también yo; mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia, [sino que] haré recaer el camino de ellos sobre su cabeza.(E) Ézéchiel 9:10 Moi aussi, je serai sans pitié, et je n'aurai point de miséricorde; je ferai retomber leurs oeuvres sur leur tête.(F) Eze 9:10 Darum soll mein Auge auch nicht schonen, ich will auch nicht gnädig sein, sondern ihr Tun auf ihren Kopf werfen.(D) Eze 9:10 καὶ οὐ φείσεταί μου ὁ ὀφθαλμός οὐδὲ μὴ ἐλεήσω τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτῶν εἰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν δέδωκα(lxx) Eze 9:10 And as for Me also, My eye will neither spare, nor will I have pity, but I will recompense their deeds on their own head."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 9:11 ============ Eze 9:11 Then behold, the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported, saying, "I have done just as You have commanded me."(nasb) Eze 9:11 Et ecce vir qui erat indutus lineis, qui habebat atramentarium in dorso suo, respondit verbum, dicens: Feci sicut præcepisti mihi.(vulgate) Ezequiel 9:11 Y he aquí que el varón vestido de lino, que [tenía] el tintero a su cintura, respondió una palabra diciendo: He hecho conforme a todo lo que me mandaste.(E) Ézéchiel 9:11 Et voici, l'homme vêtu de lin, et portant une écritoire à la ceinture, rendit cette réponse: J'ai fait ce que tu m'as ordonné.(F) Eze 9:11 Und siehe, der Mann, der die Leinwand anhatte und das Schreibzeug an seiner Seite, antwortete und sprach: Ich habe getan, wie du mir geboten hast.(D) Eze 9:11 καὶ ἰδοὺ ὁ ἀνὴρ ὁ ἐνδεδυκὼς τὸν ποδήρη καὶ ἐζωσμένος τῇ ζώνῃ τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπεκρίνατο λέγων πεποίηκα καθὼς ἐνετείλω μοι(lxx) Eze 9:11 Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkhorn at his side, reported back and said, "I have done as You commanded me."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:1 ============ top of the page
