Today's Date: ======= Zechariah 12:1 ============ Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel. Thus declares the Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him,(nasb) Zec 12:1 Onus verbi Domini super Israël. [Dicit Dominus extendens cælum, et fundans terram, et fingens spiritum hominis in eo:(vulgate) Zacarías 12:1 Carga de la palabra de Jehová acerca de Israel. Jehová, que extiende los cielos, y funda la tierra, y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él, ha dicho:(E) Zacharie 12:1 Oracle, parole de l'Eternel sur Israël. Ainsi parle l'Eternel, qui a étendu les cieux et fondé la terre, Et qui a formé l'esprit de l'homme au dedans de lui:(F) Zec 12:1 Dies ist die Last des Wortes vom HERRN über Israel, spricht der HERR, der den Himmel ausbreitet und die Erde gründet und den Odem des Menschen in ihm macht.(D) Zec 12:1 λῆμμα λόγου κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος ἐκτείνων οὐρανὸν καὶ θεμελιῶν γῆν καὶ πλάσσων πνεῦμα ἀνθρώπου ἐν αὐτῷ(lxx) Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:2 ============ Zec 12:2 "Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah.(nasb) Zec 12:2 Ecce ego ponam Jerusalem superliminare crapulæ omnibus populis in circuitu: sed et Juda erit in obsidione contra Jerusalem.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:2 He aquí, yo pongo a Jerusalén por copa de temblor a todos los pueblos de alrededor cuando estén en el sitio contra Judá [y] contra Jerusalén.(E) Zacharie 12:2 Voici, je ferai de Jérusalem une coupe d'étourdissement Pour tous les peuples d'alentour, Et aussi pour Juda dans le siège de Jérusalem.(F) Zec 12:2 Siehe, ich will Jerusalem zum Taumelbecher zurichten allen Völkern, die umher sind; auch Juda wird's gelten, wenn Jerusalem belagert wird.(D) Zec 12:2 ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τίθημι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ ὡς πρόθυρα σαλευόμενα πᾶσι τοῖς λαοῖς κύκλῳ καὶ ἐν τῇ Ιουδαίᾳ ἔσται περιοχὴ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Zec 12:2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:3 ============ Zec 12:3 It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.(nasb) Zec 12:3 Et erit: in die illa ponam Jerusalem lapidem oneris cunctis populis: omnes qui levabunt eam concisione lacerabuntur, et colligentur adversus eam omnia regna terræ.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:3 Y será en aquel día, que yo pondré a Jerusalén por piedra pesada a todos los pueblos; todos los que se la cargaren serán despedazados, [aunque] todas las naciones de la tierra se junten contra ella.(E) Zacharie 12:3 En ce jour-là, je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre pesante pour tous les peuples; Tous ceux qui la soulèveront seront meurtris; Et toutes les nations de la terre s'assembleront contre elle.(F) Zec 12:3 Zur selben Zeit will ich Jerusalem machen zum Laststein allen Völkern; alle, die ihn wegheben wollen, sollen sich daran zerschneiden; denn es werden sich alle Heiden auf Erden wider sie versammeln.(D) Zec 12:3 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ θήσομαι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ λίθον καταπατούμενον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν πᾶς ὁ καταπατῶν αὐτὴν ἐμπαίζων ἐμπαίξεται καὶ ἐπισυναχθήσονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τῆς γῆς(lxx) Zec 12:3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:4 ============ Zec 12:4 In that day," declares the Lord, "I will strike every horse with bewilderment and his rider with madness. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.(nasb) Zec 12:4 In die illa, dicit Dominus, percutiam omnem equum in stuporem, et ascensorem ejus in amentiam: et super domum Juda aperiam oculos meos, et omnem equum populorum percutiam cæcitate.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:4 En aquel día, dice Jehová, heriré con aturdimiento a todo caballo, y con locura al jinete; mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos, y a todo caballo de los pueblos heriré con ceguera.(E) Zacharie 12:4 En ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel, Je frapperai d'étourdissement tous les chevaux, Et de délire ceux qui les monteront; Mais j'aurai les yeux ouverts sur la maison de Juda, Quand je frapperai d'aveuglement tous les chevaux des peuples.(F) Zec 12:4 Zu der Zeit, spricht der HERR, will ich alle Rosse scheu und ihren Reitern bange machen; aber über das Haus Juda will ich meine Augen offen haben und alle Rosse der Völker mit Blindheit plagen.(D) Zec 12:4 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ πατάξω πάντα ἵππον ἐν ἐκστάσει καὶ τὸν ἀναβάτην αὐτοῦ ἐν παραφρονήσει ἐπὶ δὲ τὸν οἶκον Ιουδα διανοίξω τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἵππους τῶν λαῶν πατάξω ἐν ἀποτυφλώσει(lxx) Zec 12:4 In that day," says the Lord, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:5 ============ Zec 12:5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, 'A strong support for us are the inhabitants of Jerusalem through the Lord of hosts, their God.'(nasb) Zec 12:5 Et dicent duces Juda in corde suo: Confortentur mihi habitatores Jerusalem in Domino exercituum, Deo eorum!(vulgate) Zacarías 12:5 Y los capitanes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Los habitantes de Jerusalén [serán] mi fortaleza en Jehová de los ejércitos su Dios.(E) Zacharie 12:5 Les chefs de Juda diront en leur coeur: Les habitants de Jérusalem sont notre force, Par l'Eternel des armées, leur Dieu.(F) Zec 12:5 Und die Fürsten in Juda werden sagen in ihrem Herzen: Es seien mir nur die Bürger zu Jerusalem getrost in dem HERRN Zebaoth, ihrem Gott.(D) Zec 12:5 καὶ ἐροῦσιν οἱ χιλίαρχοι Ιουδα ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν εὑρήσομεν ἑαυτοῖς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ιερουσαλημ ἐν κυρίῳ παντοκράτορι θεῷ αὐτῶν(lxx) Zec 12:5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:6 ============ Zec 12:6 "In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again dwell on their own sites in Jerusalem.(nasb) Zec 12:6 In die illa ponam duces Juda sicut caminum ignis in lignis, et sicut facem ignis in fœno: et devorabunt ad dexteram et ad sinistram omnes populos in circuitu, et habitabitur Jerusalem rursus in loco suo in Jerusalem.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:6 En aquel día pondré a los capitanes de Judá como un brasero de fuego entre la leña, y como una tea de fuego en gavillas; y consumirán a derecha y a izquierda a todos los pueblos alrededor; y Jerusalén será otra vez habitada en su lugar, en Jerusalén.(E) Zacharie 12:6 En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda Comme un foyer ardent parmi du bois, Comme une torche enflammée parmi des gerbes; Ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples d'alentour, Et Jérusalem restera à sa place, à Jérusalem.(F) Zec 12:6 Zu der Zeit will ich die Fürsten Juda's machen zur Feuerpfanne im Holz und zur Fackel im Stroh, daß sie verzehren zur Rechten und zur Linken alle Völker um und um. Und Jerusalem soll auch fürder bleiben an ihrem Ort zu Jerusalem.(D) Zec 12:6 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ θήσομαι τοὺς χιλιάρχους Ιουδα ὡς δαλὸν πυρὸς ἐν ξύλοις καὶ ὡς λαμπάδα πυρὸς ἐν καλάμῃ καὶ καταφάγονται ἐκ δεξιῶν καὶ ἐξ εὐωνύμων πάντας τοὺς λαοὺς κυκλόθεν καὶ κατοικήσει Ιερουσαλημ ἔτι καθ᾽ ἑαυτήν(lxx) Zec 12:6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place--Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:7 ============ Zec 12:7 The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be magnified above Judah.(nasb) Zec 12:7 Et salvabit Dominus tabernacula Juda, sicut in principio, ut non magnifice glorietur domus David, et gloria habitantium Jerusalem contra Judam.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:7 Y librará Jehová las tiendas de Judá primero, para que la gloria de la casa de David y la gloria del morador de Jerusalén no se engrandezca sobre Judá.(E) Zacharie 12:7 L'Eternel sauvera d'abord les tentes de Juda, Afin que la gloire de la maison de David, La gloire des habitants de Jérusalem ne s'élève pas au-dessus de Juda.(F) Zec 12:7 Und der HERR wird zuerst die Hütten Juda's erretten, auf daß sich nicht hoch rühme das Haus David noch die Bürger zu Jerusalem wider Juda.(D) Zec 12:7 καὶ σώσει κύριος τὰ σκηνώματα Ιουδα καθὼς ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ὅπως μὴ μεγαλύνηται καύχημα οἴκου Δαυιδ καὶ ἔπαρσις τῶν κατοικούντων Ιερουσαλημ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν(lxx) Zec 12:7 "The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:8 ============ Zec 12:8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord before them.(nasb) Zec 12:8 In die illa proteget Dominus habitatores Jerusalem: et erit qui offenderit ex eis in die illa quasi David, et domus David quasi Dei, sicut angelus Domini in conspectu eorum.]~(vulgate) Zacarías 12:8 En aquel día Jehová defenderá al morador de Jerusalén; y el que entre ellos fuere débil, en aquel tiempo será como David; y la casa de David [será] como Dios, como el Ángel de Jehová delante de ellos.(E) Zacharie 12:8 En ce jour-là, l'Eternel protégera les habitants de Jérusalem, Et le faible parmi eux sera dans ce jour comme David; La maison de David sera comme Dieu, Comme l'ange de l'Eternel devant eux.(F) Zec 12:8 Zu der Zeit wird der HERR beschirmen die Bürger zu Jerusalem, und es wird geschehen, daß, welcher schwach sein wird unter ihnen zu der Zeit, wird sein wie David; und das Haus David wird sein wie Gott, wie des HERRN Engel vor ihnen.(D) Zec 12:8 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὑπερασπιεῖ κύριος ὑπὲρ τῶν κατοικούντων Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἀσθενῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὡς οἶκος Δαυιδ ὁ δὲ οἶκος Δαυιδ ὡς οἶκος θεοῦ ὡς ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν(lxx) Zec 12:8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:9 ============ Zec 12:9 And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.(nasb) Zec 12:9 [Et erit in die illa: quæram conterere omnes gentes quæ veniunt contra Jerusalem.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:9 Y será [que] en aquel día yo procuraré destruir a todas las naciones que vinieren contra Jerusalén.(E) Zacharie 12:9 En ce jour-là, Je m'efforcerai de détruire toutes les nations Qui viendront contre Jérusalem.(F) Zec 12:9 Und zu der Zeit werde ich gedenken, zu vertilgen alle Heiden, die wider Jerusalem gezogen sind.(D) Zec 12:9 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ζητήσω τοῦ ἐξᾶραι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐπερχόμενα ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Zec 12:9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:10 ============ Zec 12:10 "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.(nasb) Zec 12:10 Et effundam super domum David et super habitatores Jerusalem spiritum gratiæ et precum: et aspicient ad me quem confixerunt, et plangent eum planctu quasi super unigenitum, et dolebunt super eum, ut doleri solet in morte primogeniti.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:10 Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalén, el espíritu de gracia y de oración; y mirarán a mí, a quien traspasaron, y harán llanto sobre Él, como llanto sobre unigénito, afligiéndose sobre Él como quien se aflige sobre primogénito.(E) Zacharie 12:10 Alors je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur les habitants de Jérusalem Un esprit de grâce et de supplication, Et ils tourneront les regards vers moi, celui qu'ils ont percé. Ils pleureront sur lui comme on pleure sur un fils unique, Ils pleureront amèrement sur lui comme on pleure sur un premier-né.(F) Zec 12:10 Aber über das Haus David und über die Bürger zu Jerusalem will ich ausgießen den Geist der Gnade und des Gebets; und sie werden mich ansehen, welchen sie zerstochen haben, und werden um ihn klagen, wie man klagt um ein einziges Kind, und werden sich um ihn betrüben, wie man sich betrübt um ein erstes Kind.(D) Zec 12:10 καὶ ἐκχεῶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ιερουσαλημ πνεῦμα χάριτος καὶ οἰκτιρμοῦ καὶ ἐπιβλέψονται πρός με ἀνθ᾽ ὧν κατωρχήσαντο καὶ κόψονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν κοπετὸν ὡς ἐπ᾽ ἀγαπητὸν καὶ ὀδυνηθήσονται ὀδύνην ὡς ἐπὶ πρωτοτόκῳ(lxx) Zec 12:10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:11 ============ Zec 12:11 In that day there will be great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.(nasb) Zec 12:11 In die illa, magnus erit planctus in Jerusalem, sicut planctus Adadremmon in campo Mageddon.(vulgate) Zacarías 12:11 En aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalén, como el llanto de Hadadrimón en el valle de Meguido.(E) Zacharie 12:11 En ce jour-là, le deuil sera grand à Jérusalem, Comme le deuil d'Hadadrimmon dans la vallée de Meguiddon.(F) Zec 12:11 Zu der Zeit wird große Klage sein zu Jerusalem, wie die war bei Hadad-Rimmon im Felde Megiddos.(D) Zec 12:11 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ μεγαλυνθήσεται ὁ κοπετὸς ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ὡς κοπετὸς ῥοῶνος ἐν πεδίῳ ἐκκοπτομένου(lxx) Zec 12:11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:12 ============ Zec 12:12 The land will mourn, every family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself and their wives by themselves;(nasb) Zec 12:12 Et planget terra: familiæ et familiæ seorsum: familiæ domus David seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:(vulgate) Zacarías 12:12 Y la tierra lamentará, cada linaje de por sí; el linaje de la casa de David por sí, y sus esposas por sí; el linaje de la casa de Natán por sí, y sus esposas por sí;(E) Zacharie 12:12 Le pays sera dans le deuil, chaque famille séparément: La famille de la maison de David séparément, et les femmes à part; La famille de la maison de Nathan séparément, et les femmes à part;(F) Zec 12:12 Und das Land wird klagen, ein jegliches Geschlecht besonders: das Geschlecht des Hauses David besonders und ihre Weiber besonders; das Geschlecht des Hauses Nathan besonders und ihre Weiber besonders;(D) Zec 12:12 καὶ κόψεται ἡ γῆ κατὰ φυλὰς φυλάς φυλὴ καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ οἶκου Δαυιδ καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ οἴκου Ναθαν καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς(lxx) Zec 12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:13 ============ Zec 12:13 the family of the house of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself and their wives by themselves;(nasb) Zec 12:13 familiæ domus Nathan seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum: familiæ domus Levi seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum: familiæ Semei seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:(vulgate) Zacarías 12:13 el linaje de la casa de Leví por sí, y sus esposas por sí; el linaje de Simeí por sí, y sus esposas por sí;(E) Zacharie 12:13 La famille de la maison de Lévi séparément, et les femmes à part; La famille de Schimeï séparément, et les femmes à part;(F) Zec 12:13 das Geschlecht des Hauses Levi besonders und ihre Weiber besonders; das Geschlecht Simeis besonders und ihre Weiber besonders;(D) Zec 12:13 φυλὴ οἴκου Λευι καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ τοῦ Συμεων καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς(lxx) Zec 12:13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves;(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 12:14 ============ Zec 12:14 all the families that remain, every family by itself and their wives by themselves.(nasb) Zec 12:14 omnes familiæ reliquæ, familiæ et familiæ seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum.](vulgate) Zacarías 12:14 todos los linajes que quedaren, cada linaje por sí, y sus esposas por sí.(E) Zacharie 12:14 Toutes les autres familles, chaque famille séparément, Et les femmes à part.(F) Zec 12:14 also alle übrigen Geschlechter, ein jegliches besonders und ihre Weiber auch besonders.(D) Zec 12:14 πᾶσαι αἱ φυλαὶ αἱ ὑπολελειμμέναι φυλὴ καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς(lxx) Zec 12:14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 13:1 ============ top of the page
