Today's Date: ======= Exodus 36:1 ============ Exo 36:1 "Now Bezalel and Oholiab, and every skillful person in whom the Lord has put skill and understanding to know how to perform all the work in the construction of the sanctuary, shall perform in accordance with all that the Lord has commanded."(nas) Exo 36:1 καὶ ἐποίησεν Βεσελεηλ καὶ Ελιαβ καὶ πᾶς σοφὸς τῇ διανοίᾳ ᾧ ἐδόθη σοφία καὶ ἐπιστήμη ἐν αὐτοῖς συνιέναι ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ ἔργα κατὰ τὰ ἅγια καθήκοντα κατὰ πάντα ὅσα συνέταξεν κύριος (lxx) Exo 36:1 Fecit ergo Beseleel, et Ooliab, et omnis vir sapiens, quibus dedit Dominus sapientiam et intellectum, ut scirent fabre operari quæ in usus sanctuarii necessaria sunt, et quæ præcepit Dominus.(vulgate) 1 ׃36 וְעָשָׂה֩ בְצַלְאֵ֨ל וְאָהֳלִיאָ֜ב וְכֹ֣ל ׀ אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם־לֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֜ה חָכְמָ֤ה וּתְבוּנָה֙ בָּהֵ֔מָּה לָדַ֣עַת לַעֲשֹׂ֔ת אֶֽת־כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 36:1 Da arbeiteten Bezaleel und Oholiab und alle weisen Männer, denen der HERR Weisheit und Verstand gegeben hatte, zu wissen, wie sie allerlei Werk machen sollten zum Dienst des Heiligtums, nach allem, was der HERR geboten hatte.(dhs) Exo 36:1 "And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the Lord has commanded."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:2 ============ Exo 36:2 Then Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every skillful person in whom the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to perform it.(nas) Exo 36:2 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς Βεσελεηλ καὶ Ελιαβ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἔχοντας τὴν σοφίαν ᾧ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς ἐπιστήμην ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἑκουσίως βουλομένους προσπορεύεσθαι πρὸς τὰ ἔργα ὥστε συντελεῖν αὐτά (lxx) Exo 36:2 Cumque vocasset eos Moyses et omnem eruditum virum, cui dederat Dominus sapientiam, et qui sponte sua obtulerant se ad faciendum opus,(vulgate) 2 ׃36 וַיִּקְרָ֣א מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶל־בְּצַלְאֵל֘ וְאֶל־אָֽהֳלִיאָב֒ וְאֶל֙ כָּל־אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם־לֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה חָכְמָ֖ה בְּלִבּ֑וֹ כֹּ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר נְשָׂא֣וֹ לִבּ֔וֹ לְקָרְבָ֥ה אֶל־הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽהּ׃ Exodus Exo 36:2 Und Mose berief den Bezaleel und Oholiab und alle weisen Männer, denen der HERR Weisheit gegeben hatte in ihr Herz, alle, die sich freiwillig erboten und hinzutraten, zu arbeiten an dem Werke.(dhs) Exo 36:2 Then Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, everyone whose heart was stirred, to come and do the work.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:3 ============ Exo 36:3 They received from Moses all the contributions which the sons of Israel had brought to perform the work in the construction of the sanctuary. And they still continued bringing to him freewill offerings every morning.(nas) Exo 36:3 καὶ ἔλαβον παρὰ Μωυσῆ πάντα τὰ ἀφαιρέματα ἃ ἤνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τοῦ ἁγίου ποιεῖν αὐτά καὶ αὐτοὶ προσεδέχοντο ἔτι τὰ προσφερόμενα παρὰ τῶν φερόντων τὸ πρωὶ πρωί (lxx) Exo 36:3 tradidit eis universa donaria filiorum Israël. Qui cum instarent operi, quotidie mane vota populus offerebat.(vulgate) 3 ׃36 וַיִּקְח֞וּ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֵ֤ת כָּל־הַתְּרוּמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֵבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לִמְלֶ֛אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ לַעֲשֹׂ֣ת אֹתָ֑הּ וְ֠הֵם הֵבִ֨יאוּ אֵלָ֥יו ע֛וֹד נְדָבָ֖ה בַּבֹּ֥קֶר בַּבֹּֽקֶר׃ Exodus Exo 36:3 Und sie nahmen zu sich von Mose alle Hebe, die die Kinder Israel brachten zu dem Werke des Dienstes des Heiligtums, daß es gemacht würde. Denn sie brachten alle Morgen ihre willige Gabe zu ihm.(dhs) Exo 36:3 And they received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of making the sanctuary. So they continued bringing to him freewill offerings every morning.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:4 ============ Exo 36:4 And all the skillful men who were performing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work which he was performing,(nas) Exo 36:4 καὶ παρεγίνοντο πάντες οἱ σοφοὶ οἱ ποιοῦντες τὰ ἔργα τοῦ ἁγίου ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ αὐτοῦ ἔργον ὃ αὐτοὶ ἠργάζοντο (lxx) Exo 36:4 Unde artifices venire compulsi,(vulgate) 4 ׃36 וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ כָּל־הַ֣חֲכָמִ֔ים הָעֹשִׂ֕ים אֵ֖ת כָּל־מְלֶ֣אכֶת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אִֽישׁ־אִ֥ישׁ מִמְּלַאכְתּ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֥מָּה עֹשִֽׂים׃ Exodus Exo 36:4 Da kamen alle Weisen, die am Werk des Heiligtums arbeiteten, ein jeglicher von seinem Werk, das sie machten,(dhs) Exo 36:4 Then all the craftsmen who were doing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work he was doing,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:5 ============ Exo 36:5 and they said to Moses, "The people are bringing much more than enough for the construction work which the Lord commanded us to perform."(nas) Exo 36:5 καὶ εἶπαν πρὸς Μωυσῆν ὅτι πλῆθος φέρει ὁ λαὸς παρὰ τὰ ἔργα ὅσα συνέταξεν κύριος ποιῆσαι (lxx) Exo 36:5 dixerunt Moysi: Plus offert populus quam necessarium est.(vulgate) 5 ׃36 וַיֹּאמְרוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֣ה לֵּאמֹ֔ר מַרְבִּ֥ים הָעָ֖ם לְהָבִ֑יא מִדֵּ֤י הָֽעֲבֹדָה֙ לַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽהּ׃ Exodus Exo 36:5 und sprachen zu Mose: Das Volk bringt zu viel, mehr denn zum Werk dieses Dienstes not ist, das der HERR zu machen geboten hat.(dhs) Exo 36:5 and they spoke to Moses, saying, "The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the Lord commanded us to do."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:6 ============ Exo 36:6 So Moses issued a command, and a proclamation was circulated throughout the camp, saying, "Let no man or woman any longer perform work for the contributions of the sanctuary." Thus the people were restrained from bringing any more.(nas) Exo 36:6 καὶ προσέταξεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐκήρυξεν ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ λέγων ἀνὴρ καὶ γυνὴ μηκέτι ἐργαζέσθωσαν εἰς τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἐκωλύθη ὁ λαὸς ἔτι προσφέρειν (lxx) Exo 36:6 Jussit ergo Moyses præconis voce cantari: Nec vir, nec mulier quidquam offerat ultra in opere sanctuarii. Sicque cessatum est a muneribus offerendis,(vulgate) 6 ׃36 וַיְצַ֣ו מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַיַּעֲבִ֨ירוּ ק֥וֹל בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה֮ לֵאמֹר֒ אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אַל־יַעֲשׂוּ־ע֛וֹד מְלָאכָ֖ה לִתְרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וַיִּכָּלֵ֥א הָעָ֖ם מֵהָבִֽיא׃ Exodus Exo 36:6 Da gebot Mose, daß man rufen ließ durchs Lager: Niemand tue mehr zur Hebe des Heiligtums. Da hörte das Volk auf zu bringen.(dhs) Exo 36:6 So Moses gave a commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, "Let neither man nor woman do any more work for the offering of the sanctuary." And the people were restrained from bringing,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:7 ============ Exo 36:7 For the material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to perform it.(nas) Exo 36:7 καὶ τὰ ἔργα ἦν αὐτοῖς ἱκανὰ εἰς τὴν κατασκευὴν ποιῆσαι καὶ προσκατέλιπον (lxx) Exo 36:7 eo quod oblata sufficerent et superabundarent.~(vulgate) 7 ׃36 וְהַמְּלָאכָ֗ה הָיְתָ֥ה דַיָּ֛ם לְכָל־הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת אֹתָ֑הּ וְהוֹתֵֽר׃ ס Exodus Exo 36:7 Denn des Dinges war genug zu allerlei Werk, das zu machen war, und noch übrig.(dhs) Exo 36:7 for the material they had was sufficient for all the work to be done--indeed too much.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:8 ============ Exo 36:8 All the skillful men among those who were performing the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet material, with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman, Bezalel made them.(nas) Exo 36:8 καὶ ἐποίησεν πᾶς σοφὸς ἐν τοῖς ἐργαζομένοις τὰς στολὰς τῶν ἁγίων αἵ εἰσιν Ααρων τῷ ἱερεῖ καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Exo 36:8 Feceruntque omnes corde sapientes ad explendum opus tabernaculi, cortinas decem de bysso retorta, et hyacintho, et purpura, coccoque bis tincto, opere vario, et arte polymita:(vulgate) 8 ׃36 וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ כָל־חֲכַם־לֵ֜ב בְּעֹשֵׂ֧י הַמְּלָאכָ֛ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 36:8 Also machten alle weisen Männer unter den Arbeitern am Werk die Wohnung, zehn Teppiche von gezwirnter weißer Leinwand, blauem und rotem Purpur und Scharlach, und Cherubim daran von kunstreicher Arbeit.(dhs) Exo 36:8 Then all the gifted artisans among them who worked on the tabernacle made ten curtains woven of fine linen, and of blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim they made them.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:9 ============ Exo 36:9 The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits and the width of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains had the same measurements.(nas) Exo 36:9 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὴν ἐπωμίδα ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης (lxx) Exo 36:9 quarum una habebat in longitudine viginti octo cubitos, et in latitudine quatuor; una mensura erat omnium cortinarum.(vulgate) 9 ׃36 אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָֽאַחַ֗ת שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֙חַב֙ אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה הַיְרִיעָ֖ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לְכָל־הַיְרִיעֹֽת׃ Exodus Exo 36:9 Die Länge eines Teppichs war achtundzwanzig Ellen und die Breite vier Ellen, und waren alle in einem Maß.(dhs) Exo 36:9 The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; the curtains were all the same size.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:10 ============ Exo 36:10 He joined five curtains to one another and the other five curtains he joined to one another.(nas) Exo 36:10 καὶ ἐτμήθη τὰ πέταλα τοῦ χρυσίου τρίχες ὥστε συνυφᾶναι σὺν τῇ ὑακίνθῳ καὶ τῇ πορφύρᾳ καὶ σὺν τῷ κοκκίνῳ τῷ διανενησμένῳ καὶ σὺν τῇ βύσσῳ τῇ κεκλωσμένῃ ἔργον ὑφαντόν (lxx) Exo 36:10 Conjunxitque cortinas quinque, alteram alteri, et alias quinque sibi invicem copulavit.(vulgate) 10 ׃36 וַיְחַבֵּר֙ אֶת־חֲמֵ֣שׁ הַיְרִיעֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָ֑ת וְחָמֵ֤שׁ יְרִיעֹת֙ חִבַּ֔ר אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃ Exodus Exo 36:10 Und er fügte je fünf Teppiche zu einem Stück zusammen, einen an den andern.(dhs) Exo 36:10 And he coupled five curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he coupled to one another.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:11 ============ Exo 36:11 He made loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set; he did likewise on the edge of the curtain that was outermost in the second set.(nas) Exo 36:11 ἐποίησαν αὐτὸ ἐπωμίδας συνεχούσας ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν μερῶν (lxx) Exo 36:11 Fecit et ansas hyacinthinas in ora cortinæ unius ex utroque latere, et in ora cortinæ alterius similiter,(vulgate) 11 ׃36 וַיַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת תְּכֵ֗לֶת עַ֣ל שְׂפַ֤ת הַיְרִיעָה֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת מִקָּצָ֖ה בַּמַּחְבָּ֑רֶת כֵּ֤ן עָשָׂה֙ בִּשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְרִיעָ֔ה הַקִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה בַּמַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ Exodus Exo 36:11 Und machte blaue Schleifen an jegliches Stück am Rande, wo die zwei Stücke sollten zusammengeheftet werden,(dhs) Exo 36:11 He made loops of blue yarn on the edge of the curtain on the selvedge of one set; likewise he did on the outer edge of the other curtain of the second set.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:12 ============ Exo 36:12 He made fifty loops in the one curtain and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite each other.(nas) Exo 36:12 ἔργον ὑφαντὸν εἰς ἄλληλα συμπεπλεγμένον καθ᾽ ἑαυτὸ ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἐποίησαν κατὰ τὴν αὐτοῦ ποίησιν ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Exo 36:12 ut contra se invicem venirent ansæ, et mutuo jungerentur.(vulgate) 12 ׃36 חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֮ בַּיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָת֒ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ בִּקְצֵ֣ה הַיְרִיעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בַּמַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית מַקְבִּילֹת֙ הַלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָֽת׃ Exodus Exo 36:12 fünfzig Schleifen an jegliches Stück, daß eine Schleife der anderen gegenüberstünde.(dhs) Exo 36:12 Fifty loops he made on one curtain, and fifty loops he made on the edge of the curtain on the end of the second set; the loops held one curtain to another.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:13 ============ Exo 36:13 He made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains to one another with the clasps, so the tabernacle was a unit.(nas) Exo 36:13 καὶ ἐποίησαν ἀμφοτέρους τοὺς λίθους τῆς σμαράγδου συμπεπορπημένους καὶ περισεσιαλωμένους χρυσίῳ γεγλυμμένους καὶ ἐκκεκολαμμένους ἐκκόλαμμα σφραγῖδος ἐκ τῶν ὀνομάτων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ (lxx) Exo 36:13 Unde et quinquaginta fudit circulos aureos, qui morderent cortinarum ansas, et fieret unum tabernaculum.(vulgate) 13 ׃36 וַיַּ֕עַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים קַרְסֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב וַיְחַבֵּ֨ר אֶת־הַיְרִעֹ֜ת אַחַ֤ת אֶל־אַחַת֙ בַּקְּרָסִ֔ים וַֽיְהִ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן אֶחָֽד׃ ס Exodus Exo 36:13 Und machte fünfzig goldene Haken und heftete die Teppiche mit den Haken einen an den andern zusammen, daß es eine Wohnung würde.(dhs) Exo 36:13 And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains to one another with the clasps, that it might be one tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:14 ============ Exo 36:14 Then he made curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains in all.(nas) Exo 36:14 καὶ ἐπέθηκεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τοὺς ὤμους τῆς ἐπωμίδος λίθους μνημοσύνου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Exo 36:14 Fecit et saga undecim de pilis caprarum ad operiendum tectum tabernaculi:(vulgate) 14 ׃36 וַיַּ֙עַשׂ֙ יְרִיעֹ֣ת עִזִּ֔ים לְאֹ֖הֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה יְרִיעֹ֖ת עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 36:14 Und er machte elf Teppiche von Ziegenhaaren, zur Hütte über die Wohnung,(dhs) Exo 36:14 He made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 36:15 ============ Exo 36:15 The length of each curtain was thirty cubits and four cubits the width of each curtain; the eleven curtains had the same measurements.(nas) Exo 36:15 καὶ ἐποίησαν λογεῖον ἔργον ὑφαντὸν ποικιλίᾳ κατὰ τὸ ἔργον τῆς ἐπωμίδος ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης (lxx) Exo 36:15 unum sagum in longitudine habebat cubitos triginta, et in latitudine cubitos quatuor: unius mensuræ erant omnia saga:(vulgate) 15 ׃36 אֹ֜רֶךְ הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאַחַ֗ת שְׁלֹשִׁים֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֣ע אַמּ֔וֹת רֹ֖חַב הַיְרִיעָ֣ה הָאֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֣ה אַחַ֔ת לְעַשְׁתֵּ֥י עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה יְרִיעֹֽת׃ Exodus Exo 36:15 dreißig Ellen lang und vier Ellen breit, alle in einem Maß.(dhs) Exo 36:15 The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits;
