two and a half cubits was its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:2 ============ Exo 37:2 and he overlaid it with pure gold inside and out, and made a gold molding for it all around.(nas) Exo 37:2 ὀκτὼ καὶ εἴκοσι πήχεων μῆκος τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς τὸ αὐτὸ ἦσαν πᾶσαι καὶ τεσσάρων πηχῶν τὸ εὖρος τῆς αὐλαίας τῆς μιᾶς (lxx) Exo 37:2 Et fecit illi coronam auream per gyrum,(vulgate) 2 ׃37 וַיְצַפֵּ֛הוּ זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר מִבַּ֣יִת וּמִח֑וּץ וַיַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃ Exodus Exo 37:2 und überzog sie mit feinem Golde inwendig und auswendig und machte ihr einen goldenen Kranz umher.(dhs) Exo 37:2 He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold all around it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:3 ============ Exo 37:3 He cast four rings of gold for it on its four feet; even two rings on one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.(nas) Exo 37:3 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ καταπέτασμα ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἔργον ὑφάντου χερουβιμ (lxx) Exo 37:3 conflans quatuor annulos aureos per quatuor angulos ejus: duos annulos in latere uno, et duos in altero.(vulgate) 3 ׃37 וַיִּצֹ֣ק ל֗וֹ אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו וּשְׁתֵּ֣י טַבָּעֹ֗ת עַל־צַלְעוֹ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּי֙ טַבָּע֔וֹת עַל־צַלְע֖וֹ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ Exodus Exo 37:3 Und goß vier goldene Ringe an ihre vier Ecken, auf jeglicher Seite zwei.(dhs) Exo 37:3 And he cast for it four rings of gold to be set in its four corners: two rings on one side, and two rings on the other side of it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:4 ============ Exo 37:4 He made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.(nas) Exo 37:4 καὶ ἐπέθηκαν αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τέσσαρας στύλους ἀσήπτους κατακεχρυσωμένους ἐν χρυσίῳ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν χρυσαῖ καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες ἀργυραῖ (lxx) Exo 37:4 Vectes quoque fecit de lignis setim, quos vestivit auro,(vulgate) 4 ׃37 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ בַּדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃ Exodus Exo 37:4 Und machte Stangen von Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold(dhs) Exo 37:4 He made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:5 ============ Exo 37:5 He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry it.(nas) Exo 37:5 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὸ καταπέτασμα τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἔργον ὑφάντου χερουβιμ (lxx) Exo 37:5 et quos misit in annulos, qui erant in lateribus arcæ ad portandum eam.(vulgate) 5 ׃37 וַיָּבֵ֤א אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָאָרֹ֑ן לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הָאָרֹֽן׃ Exodus Exo 37:5 und tat sie in die Ringe an der Lade Seiten, daß man sie tragen konnte.(dhs) Exo 37:5 And he put the poles into the rings at the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:6 ============ Exo 37:6 He made a mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.(nas) Exo 37:6 καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτοῦ πέντε καὶ τοὺς κρίκους καὶ τὰς κεφαλίδας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ψαλίδας αὐτῶν κατεχρύσωσαν χρυσίῳ καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν πέντε χαλκαῖ (lxx) Exo 37:6 Fecit et propitiatorium, id est, oraculum, de auro mundissimo, duorum cubitorum et dimidii in longitudine, et cubiti ac semis in latitudine.(vulgate) 6 ׃37 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ כַּפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָחֵ֙צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔הּ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽהּ׃ Exodus Exo 37:6 Und machte den Gnadenstuhl von feinem Golde, dritthalb Ellen lang und anderthalb Ellen breit.(dhs) Exo 37:6 He also made the mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits was its length and a cubit and a half its width.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:7 ============ Exo 37:7 He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat;(nas) Exo 37:7 καὶ ἐποίησαν τὴν αὐλήν τὰ πρὸς λίβα ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἑκατὸν ἐφ᾽ ἑκατόν (lxx) Exo 37:7 Duos etiam cherubim ex auro ductili, quos posuit ex utraque parte propitiatorii:(vulgate) 7 ׃37 וַיַּ֛עַשׂ שְׁנֵ֥י כְרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ עָשָׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם מִשְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ Exodus Exo 37:7 Und machte zwei Cherubim von getriebenem Golde an die zwei Enden des Gnadenstuhls,(dhs) Exo 37:7 He made two cherubim of beaten gold; he made them of one piece at the two ends of the mercy seat:(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:8 ============ Exo 37:8 one cherub at the one end and one cherub at the other end; he made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at the two ends.(nas) Exo 37:8 καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι (lxx) Exo 37:8 cherub unum in summitate unius partis, et cherub alterum in summitate partis alterius: duos cherubim in singulis summitatibus propitiatorii,(vulgate) 8 ׃37 כְּרוּב־אֶחָ֤ד מִקָּצָה֙ מִזֶּ֔ה וּכְרוּב־אֶחָ֥ד מִקָּצָ֖ה מִזֶּ֑ה מִן־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים מִשְּׁנֵ֥י *קצוותו **קְצוֹתָֽיו׃ Exodus Exo 37:8 einen Cherub an diesem Ende, den andern an jenem Ende.(dhs) Exo 37:8 one cherub at one end on this side, and the other cherub at the other end on that side. He made the cherubim at the two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:9 ============ Exo 37:9 The cherubim had their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.(nas) Exo 37:9 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς βορρᾶν ἑκατὸν ἐφ᾽ ἑκατόν καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν εἴκοσι καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν εἴκοσι (lxx) Exo 37:9 extendentes alas, et tegentes propitiatorium, seque mutuo et illud respicientes.~(vulgate) 9 ׃37 וַיִּהְי֣וּ הַכְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְמַ֗עְלָה סֹֽכְכִ֤ים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ עַל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֑יו אֶל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃ פ Exodus Exo 37:9 Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel aus von obenher und deckten damit den Gnadenstuhl; und ihre Antlitze standen gegeneinander und sahen auf den Gnadenstuhl.(dhs) Exo 37:9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, and covered the mercy seat with their wings. They faced one another; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:10 ============ Exo 37:10 Then he made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long and a cubit wide and one and a half cubits high.(nas) Exo 37:10 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς θάλασσαν αὐλαῖαι πεντήκοντα πήχεων στῦλοι αὐτῶν δέκα καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν δέκα (lxx) Exo 37:10 Fecit et mensam de lignis setim in longitudine duorum cubitorum, et in latitudine unius cubiti, quæ habebat in altitudine cubitum ac semissem.(vulgate) 10 ׃37 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֤יִם אָרְכּוֹ֙ וְאַמָּ֣ה רָחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ Exodus Exo 37:10 Und er machte den Tisch von Akazienholz, zwei Ellen lang, eine Elle breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch,(dhs) Exo 37:10 He made the table of acacia wood; two cubits was its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:11 ============ Exo 37:11 He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a gold molding for it all around.(nas) Exo 37:11 καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς πεντήκοντα πήχεων (lxx) Exo 37:11 Circumdeditque eam auro mundissimo, et fecit illi labium aureum per gyrum,(vulgate) 11 ׃37 וַיְצַ֥ף אֹת֖וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃ Exodus Exo 37:11 und überzog ihn mit feinem Golde und machte ihm einen goldenen Kranz umher.(dhs) Exo 37:11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold all around it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:12 ============ Exo 37:12 He made a rim for it of a handbreadth all around, and made a gold molding for its rim all around.(nas) Exo 37:12 ἱστία πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων τὸ κατὰ νώτου καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς (lxx) Exo 37:12 ipsique labio coronam auream interrasilem quatuor digitorum, et super eamdem, alteram coronam auream.(vulgate) 12 ׃37 וַיַּ֨עַשׂ ל֥וֹ מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת טֹ֖פַח סָבִ֑יב וַיַּ֧עַשׂ זֵר־זָהָ֛ב לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ סָבִֽיב׃ Exodus Exo 37:12 Und machte ihm eine Leiste umher, eine Handbreit hoch, und machte einen goldenen Kranz um die Leiste her.(dhs) Exo 37:12 Also he made a frame of a handbreadth all around it, and made a molding of gold for the frame all around it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:13 ============ Exo 37:13 He cast four gold rings for it and put the rings on the four corners that were on its four feet.(nas) Exo 37:13 καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ νώτου τοῦ δευτέρου ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν κατὰ τὴν πύλην τῆς αὐλῆς αὐλαῖαι πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς (lxx) Exo 37:13 Fudit et quatuor circulos aureos, quos posuit in quatuor angulis per singulos pedes mensæ(vulgate) 13 ׃37 וַיִּצֹ֣ק ל֔וֹ אַרְבַּ֖ע טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע הַפֵּאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְאַרְבַּ֥ע רַגְלָֽיו׃ Exodus Exo 37:13 Und goß dazu vier goldene Ringe und tat sie an die vier Ecken an seinen vier Füßen,(dhs) Exo 37:13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that were at its four legs.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:14 ============ Exo 37:14 Close by the rim were the rings, the holders for the poles to carry the table.(nas) Exo 37:14 πᾶσαι αἱ αὐλαῖαι τῆς αὐλῆς ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης (lxx) Exo 37:14 contra coronam: misitque in eos vectes, ut possit mensa portari.(vulgate) 14 ׃37 לְעֻמַּת֙ הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת בָּתִּים֙ לַבַּדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ Exodus Exo 37:14 hart an der Leiste, daß die Stangen darin wären, daran man den Tisch trüge.(dhs) Exo 37:14 The rings were close to the frame, as holders for the poles to bear the table.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:15 ============ Exo 37:15 He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.(nas) Exo 37:15 καὶ αἱ βάσεις τῶν στύλων χαλκαῖ καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ καὶ οἱ στῦλοι περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ πάντες οἱ στῦλοι τῆς αὐλῆς (lxx) Exo 37:15 Ipsos quoque vectes fecit de lignis setim, et circumdedit eos auro.(vulgate) 15 ׃37 וַיַּ֤עַשׂ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָ֑ב לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ Exodus Exo 37:15 Und machte die Stangen von Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold, daß man den Tisch damit trüge.(dhs) Exo 37:15 And he made the poles of acacia wood to bear the table, and overlaid them with gold.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:16 ============ Exo 37:16 He made the utensils which were on the table, its dishes and its pans and its bowls and its jars, with which to pour out drink offerings, of pure gold.(nas) Exo 37:16 καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τῆς πύλης τῆς αὐλῆς ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου νενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης εἴκοσι πήχεων τὸ μῆκος καὶ τὸ ὕψος καὶ τὸ εὖρος πέντε πήχεων ἐξισούμενον τοῖς ἱστίοις τῆς αὐλῆς (lxx) Exo 37:16 Et vasa ad diversos usus mensæ, acetabula, phialas, et cyathos, et thuribula, ex auro puro, in quibus offerenda sunt libamina.~(vulgate) 16 ׃37 וַיַּ֜עַשׂ אֶֽת־הַכֵּלִ֣ים ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֗ן אֶת־קְעָרֹתָ֤יו וְאֶת־כַּפֹּתָיו֙ וְאֵת֙ מְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו וְאֶת־הַקְּשָׂוֺ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּהֵ֑ן זָהָ֖ב טָהֽוֹר׃ פ Exodus Exo 37:16 Und machte auch von feinem Golde das Gerät auf den Tisch: Schüsseln und Löffel, Kannen und Schalen, darin man das Trankopfer darbrächte.(dhs) Exo 37:16 He made of pure gold the utensils which were on the table: its dishes, its cups, its bowls, and its pitchers for pouring.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:17 ============ Exo 37:17 Then he made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work, its base and its shaft; its cups, its bulbs and its flowers were of one piece with it.(nas) Exo 37:17 καὶ οἱ στῦλοι αὐτῶν τέσσαρες καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες χαλκαῖ καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ (lxx) Exo 37:17 Fecit et candelabrum ductile de auro mundissimo, de cujus vecte calami, scyphi, sphærulæque, ac lilia procedebant:(vulgate) 17 ׃37 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָ֖ה זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה עָשָׂ֤ה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣הּ וְקָנָ֔הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּ֥נָּה הָיֽוּ׃ Exodus Exo 37:17 Und er machte den Leuchter von feinem, getriebenem Golde. Daran war der Schaft mit Röhren, Schalen, Knäufen und Blumen.(dhs) Exo 37:17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold; of hammered work he made the lampstand. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and its flowers were of the same piece.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:18 ============ Exo 37:18 There were six branches going out of its sides; three branches of the lampstand from the one side of it and three branches of the lampstand from the other side of it;(nas) Exo 37:18 καὶ αὐτοὶ περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ καὶ πάντες οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ χαλκοῖ (lxx) Exo 37:18 sex in utroque latere, tres calami ex parte una, et tres ex altera:(vulgate) 18 ׃37 וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה ׀ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִצִּדָּהּ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִצִּדָּ֖הּ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃ Exodus Exo 37:18 Sechs Röhren gingen zu seinen Seiten aus, zu jeglicher Seite drei Röhren.(dhs) Exo 37:18 And six branches came out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:19 ============ Exo 37:19 three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower in one branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower in the other branch--so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.(nas) Exo 37:19 καὶ αὕτη ἡ σύνταξις τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καθὰ συνετάγη Μωυσῇ τὴν λειτουργίαν εἶναι τῶν Λευιτῶν διὰ Ιθαμαρ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως (lxx) Exo 37:19 tres scyphi in nucis modum per calamos singulos, sphærulæque simul et lilia: et tres scyphi instar nucis in calamo altero, sphærulæque simul et lilia. Its length was a cubit and its width a cubit--it was square--and two cubits was its height. He also made for it a molding of gold all around it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:27 ============ Exo 37:27 He made two golden rings for it under its molding, on its two sides--on opposite sides--as holders for poles with which to carry it.(nas) Exo 37:27 -- (lxx) Exo 37:27 Fecitque ei coronam aureolam per gyrum, et duos annulos aureos sub corona per singula latera, ut mittantur in eos vectes, et possit altare portari.(vulgate) 27 ׃37 וּשְׁתֵּי֩ טַבְּעֹ֨ת זָהָ֜ב עָֽשָׂה־ל֣וֹ ׀ מִתַּ֣חַת לְזֵר֗וֹ עַ֚ל שְׁתֵּ֣י צַלְעֹתָ֔יו עַ֖ל שְׁנֵ֣י צִדָּ֑יו לְבָתִּ֣ים לְבַדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֥את אֹת֖וֹ בָּהֶֽם׃ Exodus Exo 37:27 und zwei goldene Ringe unter dem Kranz zu beiden Seiten, daß man Stangen darein täte und ihn damit trüge.(dhs) Exo 37:27 He made two rings of gold for it under its molding, by its two corners on both sides, as holders for the poles with which to bear it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:28 ============ Exo 37:28 He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.(nas) Exo 37:28 -- (lxx) Exo 37:28 Ipsos autem vectes fecit de lignis setim, et operuit laminis aureis.(vulgate) 28 ׃37 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַבַּדִּ֖ים עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃ Exodus Exo 37:28 Aber die Stangen machte er von Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Gold.(dhs) Exo 37:28 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 37:29 ============ Exo 37:29 And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense of spices, the work of a perfumer.(nas) Exo 37:29 -- (lxx) Exo 37:29 Composuit et oleum ad sanctificationis unguentum, et thymiama de aromatibus mundissimis opere pigmentarii.(vulgate) 29 ׃37 וַיַּ֜עַשׂ אֶת־שֶׁ֤מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה֙ קֹ֔דֶשׁ וְאֶת־קְטֹ֥רֶת הַסַּמִּ֖ים טָה֑וֹר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֹקֵֽחַ׃ פ Exodus Exo 37:29 Und er machte die heilige Salbe und Räuchwerk von reiner Spezerei nach der Kunst des Salbenbereiters.(dhs) Exo 37:29 He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 38:1 ============ top of the page
