Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 1:1 ============ Lev 1:1 Then the Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying,(nas) Lev 1:1 καὶ ἀνεκάλεσεν Μωυσῆν καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου λέγων (lxx) Lev 1:1 Vocavit autem Moysen, et locutus est ei Dominus de tabernaculo testimonii, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃1 וַיִּקְרָ֖א אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֵלָ֔יו מֵאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד לֵאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 1:1 Und der HERR rief Mose und redete mit ihm aus der Hütte des Stifts und sprach:(dhs) Lev 1:1 Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:2 ============ Lev 1:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When any man of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of animals from the herd or the flock.(nas) Lev 1:2 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἄνθρωπος ἐξ ὑμῶν ἐὰν προσαγάγῃ δῶρα τῷ κυρίῳ ἀπὸ τῶν κτηνῶν ἀπὸ τῶν βοῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων προσοίσετε τὰ δῶρα ὑμῶν (lxx) Lev 1:2 Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Homo, qui obtulerit ex vobis hostiam Domino de pecoribus, id est, de bobus et ovibus offerens victimas,(vulgate) 2 ׃1 דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם אָדָ֗ם כִּֽי־יַקְרִ֥יב מִכֶּ֛ם קָרְבָּ֖ן לַֽיהוָ֑ה מִן־הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה מִן־הַבָּקָר֙ וּמִן־הַצֹּ֔אן תַּקְרִ֖יבוּ אֶת־קָרְבַּנְכֶֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 1:2 Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Welcher unter euch dem HERRN ein Opfer tun will, der tue es von dem Vieh, von Rindern und Schafen.(dhs) Lev 1:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock--of the herd and of the flock.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:3 ============ Lev 1:3 If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.(nas) Lev 1:3 ἐὰν ὁλοκαύτωμα τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν βοῶν ἄρσεν ἄμωμον προσάξει πρὸς τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου προσοίσει αὐτὸ δεκτὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου (lxx) Lev 1:3 si holocaustum fuerit ejus oblatio, ac de armento: masculum immaculatum offeret ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii, ad placandum sibi Dominum:(vulgate) 3 ׃1 אִם־עֹלָ֤ה קָרְבָּנוֹ֙ מִן־הַבָּקָ֔ר זָכָ֥ר תָּמִ֖ים יַקְרִיבֶ֑נּוּ אֶל־פֶּ֜תַח אֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ יַקְרִ֣יב אֹת֔וֹ לִרְצֹנ֖וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 1:3 Will er ein Brandopfer tun von Rindern, so opfere er ein Männlein, das ohne Fehl sei, vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts, daß es dem HERRN angenehm sei von ihm,(dhs) Lev 1:3 'If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:4 ============ Lev 1:4 He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.(nas) Lev 1:4 καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὴν χεῖρα ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ καρπώματος δεκτὸν αὐτῷ ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Lev 1:4 ponetque manum super caput hostiæ, et acceptabilis erit, atque in expiationem ejus proficiens.(vulgate) 4 ׃1 וְסָמַ֣ךְ יָד֔וֹ עַ֖ל רֹ֣אשׁ הָעֹלָ֑ה וְנִרְצָ֥ה ל֖וֹ לְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָֽיו׃ Leviticus Lev 1:4 und lege seine Hand auf des Brandopfers Haupt, so wird es angenehm sein und ihn versöhnen.(dhs) Lev 1:4 Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:5 ============ Lev 1:5 He shall slay the young bull before the Lord; and Aaron's sons the priests shall offer up the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.(nas) Lev 1:5 καὶ σφάξουσι τὸν μόσχον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ προσοίσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς τὸ αἷμα καὶ προσχεοῦσιν τὸ αἷμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ τὸ ἐπὶ τῶν θυρῶν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Lev 1:5 Immolabitque vitulum coram Domino, et offerent filii Aaron sacerdotes sanguinem ejus, fundentes per altaris circuitum, quod est ante ostium tabernaculi:(vulgate) 5 ׃1 וְשָׁחַ֛ט אֶת־בֶּ֥ן הַבָּקָ֖ר לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְ֠הִקְרִיבוּ בְּנֵ֨י אַהֲרֹ֤ן הֽ͏ַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ אֶת־הַדָּ֔ם וְזָרְק֨וּ אֶת־הַדָּ֤ם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ סָבִ֔יב אֲשֶׁר־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ Leviticus Lev 1:5 Und er soll das junge Rind schlachten vor dem HERRN; und die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen das Blut herzubringen und auf den Altar umhersprengen, der vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts ist.(dhs) Lev 1:5 He shall kill the bull before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:6 ============ Lev 1:6 He shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.(nas) Lev 1:6 καὶ ἐκδείραντες τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα μελιοῦσιν αὐτὸ κατὰ μέλη (lxx) Lev 1:6 detractaque pelle hostiæ, artus in frusta concident.(vulgate) 6 ׃1 וְהִפְשִׁ֖יט אֶת־הָעֹלָ֑ה וְנִתַּ֥ח אֹתָ֖הּ לִנְתָחֶֽיהָ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:6 Und man soll dem Brandopfer die Haut abziehen, und es soll in Stücke zerhauen werden;(dhs) Lev 1:6 And he shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:7 ============ Lev 1:7 The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.(nas) Lev 1:7 καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς πῦρ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐπιστοιβάσουσιν ξύλα ἐπὶ τὸ πῦρ (lxx) Lev 1:7 Et subjicient in altari ignem, strue lignorum ante composita:(vulgate) 7 ׃1 וְ֠נָתְנוּ בְּנֵ֨י אַהֲרֹ֧ן הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֵ֖שׁ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְעָרְכ֥וּ עֵצִ֖ים עַל־הָאֵֽשׁ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:7 und die Söhne Aarons, des Priesters, sollen ein Feuer auf dem Altar machen und Holz obendarauf legen(dhs) Lev 1:7 The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:8 ============ Lev 1:8 Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, the head and the suet over the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.(nas) Lev 1:8 καὶ ἐπιστοιβάσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς τὰ διχοτομήματα καὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν καὶ τὸ στέαρ ἐπὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ πυρὸς τὰ ὄντα ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 1:8 et membra quæ sunt cæsa, desuper ordinantes, caput videlicet, et cuncta quæ adhærent jecori,(vulgate) 8 ׃1 וְעָרְכ֗וּ בְּנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים אֵ֚ת הַנְּתָחִ֔ים אֶת־הָרֹ֖אשׁ וְאֶת־הַפָּ֑דֶר עַל־הָעֵצִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הָאֵ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:8 und sollen die Stücke, den Kopf und das Fett auf das Holz legen, das auf dem Feuer auf dem Altar liegt.(dhs) Lev 1:8 Then the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:9 ============ Lev 1:9 Its entrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer up in smoke all of it on the altar for a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.(nas) Lev 1:9 τὰ δὲ ἐγκοίλια καὶ τοὺς πόδας πλυνοῦσιν ὕδατι καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν οἱ ἱερεῖς τὰ πάντα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κάρπωμά ἐστιν θυσία ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) Lev 1:9 intestinis et pedibus lotis aqua: adolebitque ea sacerdos super altare in holocaustum et suavem odorem Domino.(vulgate) 9 ׃1 וְקִרְבּ֥וֹ וּכְרָעָ֖יו יִרְחַ֣ץ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְהִקְטִ֨יר הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־הַכֹּל֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עֹלָ֛ה אִשֵּׁ֥ה רֵֽיחַ־נִיח֖וֹחַ לַֽיהוָֽה׃ ס Leviticus Lev 1:9 Das Eingeweide aber und die Schenkel soll man mit Wasser waschen, und der Priester soll das alles anzünden auf dem Altar zum Brandopfer. Das ist ein Feuer zum süßen Geruch dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 1:9 but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:10 ============ Lev 1:10 'But if his offering is from the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer it a male without defect.(nas) Lev 1:10 ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἀπό τε τῶν ἀρνῶν καὶ τῶν ἐρίφων εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἄρσεν ἄμωμον προσάξει αὐτὸ καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὴν χεῖρα ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Lev 1:10 Quod si de pecoribus oblatio est, de ovibus sive de capris holocaustum, masculum absque macula offeret:(vulgate) 10 ׃1 וְאִם־מִן־הַצֹּ֨אן קָרְבָּנ֧וֹ מִן־הַכְּשָׂבִ֛ים א֥וֹ מִן־הָעִזִּ֖ים לְעֹלָ֑ה זָכָ֥ר תָּמִ֖ים יַקְרִיבֶֽנּוּ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:10 Will er aber von Schafen oder Ziegen ein Brandopfer tun, so opfere er ein Männlein, das ohne Fehl sei.(dhs) Lev 1:10 'If his offering is of the flocks--of the sheep or of the goats--as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male without blemish.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:11 ============ Lev 1:11 He shall slay it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.(nas) Lev 1:11 καὶ σφάξουσιν αὐτὸ ἐκ πλαγίων τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου πρὸς βορρᾶν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ προσχεοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ (lxx) Lev 1:11 immolabitque ad latus altaris, quod respicit ad aquilonem, coram Domino: sanguinem vero illius fundent super altare filii Aaron per circuitum:(vulgate) 11 ׃1 וְשָׁחַ֨ט אֹת֜וֹ עַ֣ל יֶ֧רֶךְ הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ צָפֹ֖נָה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְזָרְק֡וּ בְּנֵי֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים אֶת־דָּמ֛וֹ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃ Leviticus Lev 1:11 Und soll es schlachten zur Seite des Altars gegen Mitternacht vor dem HERRN. Und die Priester, Aarons Söhne, sollen sein Blut auf den Altar umhersprengen.(dhs) Lev 1:11 He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:12 ============ Lev 1:12 He shall then cut it into its pieces with its head and its suet, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar.(nas) Lev 1:12 καὶ διελοῦσιν αὐτὸ κατὰ μέλη καὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν καὶ τὸ στέαρ καὶ ἐπιστοιβάσουσιν αὐτὰ οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐπὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ πυρὸς τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 1:12 dividentque membra, caput, et omnia quæ adhærent jecori, et ponent super ligna, quibus subjiciendus est ignis:(vulgate) 12 ׃1 וְנִתַּ֤ח אֹתוֹ֙ לִנְתָחָ֔יו וְאֶת־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ וְאֶת־פִּדְר֑וֹ וְעָרַ֤ךְ הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֹתָ֔ם עַל־הָֽעֵצִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הָאֵ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:12 Und man soll es in Stücke zerhauen, und der Priester soll sie samt dem Kopf und dem Fett auf das Holz und Feuer, das auf dem Altar ist, legen.(dhs) Lev 1:12 And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:13 ============ Lev 1:13 The entrails, however, and the legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.(nas) Lev 1:13 καὶ τὰ ἐγκοίλια καὶ τοὺς πόδας πλυνοῦσιν ὕδατι καὶ προσοίσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὰ πάντα καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κάρπωμά ἐστιν θυσία ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) Lev 1:13 intestina vero et pedes lavabunt aqua. Et oblata omnia adolebit sacerdos super altare in holocaustum et odorem suavissimum Domino.(vulgate) 13 ׃1 וְהַקֶּ֥רֶב וְהַכְּרָעַ֖יִם יִרְחַ֣ץ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְהִקְרִ֨יב הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־הַכֹּל֙ וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עֹלָ֣ה ה֗וּא אִשֵּׁ֛ה רֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃ פ Leviticus Lev 1:13 Aber das Eingeweide und die Schenkel soll man mit Wasser waschen, und der Priester soll es alles opfern und anzünden auf dem Altar zum Brandopfer. Then the priest shall bring it all and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:14 ============ Lev 1:14 'But if his offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the turtledoves or from young pigeons.(nas) Lev 1:14 ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν πετεινῶν κάρπωμα προσφέρῃς δῶρον τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ προσοίσει ἀπὸ τῶν τρυγόνων ἢ ἀπὸ τῶν περιστερῶν τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ (lxx) Lev 1:14 Si autem de avibus, holocausti oblatio fuerit Domino, de turturibus, aut pullis columbæ,(vulgate) 14 ׃1 וְאִ֧ם מִן־הָע֛וֹף עֹלָ֥ה קָרְבָּנ֖וֹ לַֽיהוָ֑ה וְהִקְרִ֣יב מִן־הַתֹּרִ֗ים א֛וֹ מִן־בְּנֵ֥י הַיּוֹנָ֖ה אֶת־קָרְבָּנֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:14 Will er aber von Vögeln dem HERRN ein Brandopfer tun, so tue er's von Turteltauben oder von jungen Tauben.(dhs) Lev 1:14 'And if the burnt sacrifice of his offering to the Lord is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or young pigeons.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:15 ============ Lev 1:15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head and offer it up in smoke on the altar; and its blood is to be drained out on the side of the altar.(nas) Lev 1:15 καὶ προσοίσει αὐτὸ ὁ ἱερεὺς πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἀποκνίσει τὴν κεφαλήν καὶ ἐπιθήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ στραγγιεῖ τὸ αἷμα πρὸς τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 1:15 offeret eam sacerdos ad altare: et retorto ad collum capite, ac rupto vulneris loco, decurrere faciet sanguinem super crepidinem altaris:(vulgate) 15 ׃1 וְהִקְרִיב֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וּמָלַק֙ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֔וֹ וְהִקְטִ֖יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וְנִמְצָ֣ה דָמ֔וֹ עַ֖ל קִ֥יר הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ Leviticus Lev 1:15 Und der Priester soll's zum Altar bringen und ihm den Kopf abkneipen, daß es auf dem Altar angezündet werde, und sein Blut ausbluten lassen an der Wand des Altars.(dhs) Lev 1:15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:16 ============ Lev 1:16 He shall also take away its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar eastward, to the place of the ashes.(nas) Lev 1:16 καὶ ἀφελεῖ τὸν πρόλοβον σὺν τοῖς πτεροῖς καὶ ἐκβαλεῖ αὐτὸ παρὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κατὰ ἀνατολὰς εἰς τὸν τόπον τῆς σποδοῦ (lxx) Lev 1:16 vesiculam vero gutturis, et plumas projiciet prope altare ad orientalem plagam, in loco in quo cineres effundi solent,(vulgate) 16 ׃1 וְהֵסִ֥יר אֶת־מֻרְאָת֖וֹ בְּנֹצָתָ֑הּ וְהִשְׁלִ֨יךְ אֹתָ֜הּ אֵ֤צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ קֵ֔דְמָה אֶל־מְק֖וֹם הַדָּֽשֶׁן׃ Leviticus Lev 1:16 Und seinen Kropf mit seinen Federn soll man neben den Altar gegen Morgen auf den Aschenhaufen werfen;(dhs) Lev 1:16 And he shall remove its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar on the east side, into the place for ashes.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 1:17 ============ Lev 1:17 Then he shall tear it by its wings, but shall not sever it. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the wood which is on the fire; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.(nas) Lev 1:17 καὶ ἐκκλάσει αὐτὸ ἐκ τῶν πτερύγων καὶ οὐ διελεῖ καὶ ἐπιθήσει αὐτὸ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐπὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ πυρός κάρπωμά ἐστιν θυσία ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) Lev 1:17 confringetque ascellas ejus, et non secabit, neque ferro dividet eam, et adolebit super altare, lignis igne supposito. Holocaustum est et oblatio suavissimi odoris Domino.(vulgate) 17 ׃1 וְשִׁסַּ֨ע אֹת֣וֹ בִכְנָפָיו֮ לֹ֣א יַבְדִּיל֒ וְהִקְטִ֨יר אֹת֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עַל־הָעֵצִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הָאֵ֑שׁ עֹלָ֣ה ה֗וּא אִשֵּׁ֛ה רֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃ ס Leviticus Lev 1:17 und soll seine Flügel spalten, aber nicht abbrechen.
