And the Lord showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan,(nas) Deu 34:1 καὶ ἀνέβη Μωυσῆς ἀπὸ Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος Ναβαυ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν Φασγα ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ προσώπου Ιεριχω καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ κύριος πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Γαλααδ ἕως Δαν (lxx) Deu 34:1 Ascendit ergo Moyses de campestribus Moab super montem Nebo, in verticem Phasga contra Jericho: ostenditque ei Dominus omnem terram Galaad usque Dan,(vulgate) 1 ׃34 וַיַּ֨עַל מֹשֶׁ֜ה מֵֽעַרְבֹ֤ת מוֹאָב֙ אֶל־הַ֣ר נְב֔וֹ רֹ֚אשׁ הַפִּסְגָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֣י יְרֵח֑וֹ וַיַּרְאֵ֨הוּ יְהוָ֧ה אֶת־כָּל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֶת־הַגִּלְעָ֖ד עַד־דָּֽן׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:1 Und Mose ging von dem Gefilde der Moabiter auf den Berg Nebo, auf die Spitze des Gebirges Pisga, gegenüber Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:2 ============ Deu 34:2 and all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the western sea,(nas) Deu 34:2 καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Νεφθαλι καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Ιουδα ἕως τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἐσχάτης (lxx) Deu 34:2 et universum Nephthali, terramque Ephraim et Manasse, et omnem terram Juda usque ad mare novissimum,(vulgate) 2 ׃34 וְאֵת֙ כָּל־נַפְתָּלִ֔י וְאֶת־אֶ֥רֶץ אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וְאֵת֙ כָּל־אֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיָּ֥ם הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:2 und das ganze Naphthali und das Land Ephraim und Manasse und das ganze Land Juda bis an das Meer gegen Abend(dhs) Deu 34:2 all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:3 ============ Deu 34:3 and the Negev and the plain in the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar.(nas) Deu 34:3 καὶ τὴν ἔρημον καὶ τὰ περίχωρα Ιεριχω πόλιν φοινίκων ἕως Σηγωρ (lxx) Deu 34:3 et australem partem, et latitudinem campi Jericho civitatis palmarum usque Segor.(vulgate) 3 ׃34 וְאֶת־הַנֶּ֗גֶב וְֽאֶת־הַכִּכָּ֞ר בִּקְעַ֧ת יְרֵח֛וֹ עִ֥יר הַתְּמָרִ֖ים עַד־צֹֽעַר׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:3 und das Mittagsland und die Gegend der Ebene Jerichos, der Palmenstadt, bis gen Zoar.(dhs) Deu 34:3 the South, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:4 ============ Deu 34:4 Then the Lord said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants'; I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there."(nas) Deu 34:4 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν αὕτη ἡ γῆ ἣν ὤμοσα Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ λέγων τῷ σπέρματι ὑμῶν δώσω αὐτήν καὶ ἔδειξα αὐτὴν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου καὶ ἐκεῖ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ (lxx) Deu 34:4 Dixitque Dominus ad eum: Hæc est terra, pro qua juravi Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob, dicens: Semini tuo dabo eam. Vidisti eam oculis tuis, et non transibis ad illam.(vulgate) 4 ׃34 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו זֹ֤את הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֠שְׁבַּעְתִּי לְאַבְרָהָ֨ם לְיִצְחָ֤ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹב֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לְזַרְעֲךָ֖ אֶתְּנֶ֑נָּה הֶרְאִיתִ֣יךָ בְעֵינֶ֔יךָ וְשָׁ֖מָּה לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹֽר׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:4 Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Dies ist das Land, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen habe und gesagt: Ich will es deinem Samen geben. Du hast es mit deinen Augen gesehen; aber du sollst nicht hinübergehen.(dhs) Deu 34:4 Then the Lord said to him, "This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:5 ============ Deu 34:5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.(nas) Deu 34:5 καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν Μωυσῆς οἰκέτης κυρίου ἐν γῇ Μωαβ διὰ ῥήματος κυρίου (lxx) Deu 34:5 Mortuusque est ibi Moyses servus Domini, in terra Moab, jubente Domino:(vulgate) 5 ׃34 וַיָּ֨מָת שָׁ֜ם מֹשֶׁ֧ה עֶֽבֶד־יְהוָ֛ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מוֹאָ֖ב עַל־פִּ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:5 Also starb Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, daselbst im Lande der Moabiter nach dem Wort des HERRN.(dhs) Deu 34:5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:6 ============ Deu 34:6 And He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; but no man knows his burial place to this day.(nas) Deu 34:6 καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν Γαι ἐν γῇ Μωαβ ἐγγὺς οἴκου Φογωρ καὶ οὐκ οἶδεν οὐδεὶς τὴν ταφὴν αὐτοῦ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης (lxx) Deu 34:6 et sepelivit eum in valle terræ Moab contra Phogor: et non cognovit homo sepulchrum ejus usque in præsentem diem.(vulgate) 6 ׃34 וַיִּקְבֹּ֨ר אֹת֤וֹ בַגַּיְ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב מ֖וּל בֵּ֣ית פְּע֑וֹר וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֥ע אִישׁ֙ אֶת־קְבֻ֣רָת֔וֹ עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:6 Und er begrub ihn im Tal im Lande der Moabiter gegenüber Beth-Peor. Und niemand hat sein Grab erfahren bis auf diesen heutigen Tag.(dhs) Deu 34:6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:7 ============ Deu 34:7 Although Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eye was not dim, nor his vigor abated.(nas) Deu 34:7 Μωυσῆς δὲ ἦν ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἐν τῷ τελευτᾶν αὐτόν οὐκ ἠμαυρώθησαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ ἐφθάρησαν τὰ χελύνια αὐτοῦ (lxx) Deu 34:7 Moyses centum et viginti annorum erat quando mortuus est: non caligavit oculus ejus, nec dentes illius moti sunt.(vulgate) 7 ׃34 וּמֹשֶׁ֗ה בֶּן־מֵאָ֧ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה בְּמֹת֑וֹ לֹֽא־כָהֲתָ֥ה עֵינ֖וֹ וְלֹא־נָ֥ס לֵחֹֽה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:7 Und Mose war hundertundzwanzig Jahre alt, da er starb. Seine Augen waren nicht dunkel geworden, und seine Kraft war nicht verfallen.(dhs) Deu 34:7 Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:8 ============ Deu 34:8 So the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.(nas) Deu 34:8 καὶ ἔκλαυσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸν Μωυσῆν ἐν Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω τριάκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ συνετελέσθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι πένθους κλαυθμοῦ Μωυσῆ (lxx) Deu 34:8 Fleveruntque eum filii Israël in campestribus Moab triginta diebus: et completi sunt dies planctus lugentium Moysen.(vulgate) 8 ׃34 וַיִּבְכּוּ֩ בְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֛ה בְּעַֽרְבֹ֥ת מוֹאָ֖ב שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים י֑וֹם וַֽיִּתְּמ֔וּ יְמֵ֥י בְכִ֖י אֵ֥בֶל מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:8 Und die Kinder Israel beweinten Mose im Gefilde der Moabiter dreißig Tage; und es wurden vollendet die Tage des Weinens und Klagens über Mose.(dhs) Deu 34:8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. So the days of weeping and mourning for Moses ended.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:9 ============ Deu 34:9 καὶ Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυη ἐνεπλήσθη πνεύματος συνέσεως ἐπέθηκεν γὰρ Μωυσῆς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν καὶ εἰσήκουσαν αὐτοῦ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐποίησαν καθότι ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Deu 34:9 Josue vero filius Nun repletus est spiritu sapientiæ, quia Moyses posuit super eum manus suas. Et obedierunt ei filii Israël, feceruntque sicut præcepit Dominus Moysi.(vulgate) 9 ׃34 וִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֗וּן מָלֵא֙ ר֣וּחַ חָכְמָ֔ה כִּֽי־סָמַ֥ךְ מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־יָדָ֖יו עָלָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּ אֵלָ֤יו בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:9 Josua aber, der Sohn Nuns, ward erfüllt mit dem Geist der Weisheit; denn Mose hatte seine Hände auf ihn gelegt. Und die Kinder Israel gehorchten ihm und taten, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.(dhs) ======= Deuteronomy 34:10 ============ Deu 34:10 Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,(nas) Deu 34:10 καὶ οὐκ ἀνέστη ἔτι προφήτης ἐν Ισραηλ ὡς Μωυσῆς ὃν ἔγνω κύριος αὐτὸν πρόσωπον κατὰ πρόσωπον (lxx) Deu 34:10 Et non surrexit ultra propheta in Israël sicut Moyses, quem nosset Dominus facie ad faciem,(vulgate) 10 ׃34 וְלֹֽא־קָ֨ם נָבִ֥יא ע֛וֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כְּמֹשֶׁ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְדָע֣וֹ יְהוָ֔ה פָּנִ֖ים אֶל־פָּנִֽים׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:10 Und es stand hinfort kein Prophet in Israel auf wie Mose, den der HERR erkannt hätte von Angesicht zu Angesicht,(dhs) Deu 34:10 But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:11 ============ Deu 34:11 for all the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land,(nas) Deu 34:11 ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς σημείοις καὶ τέρασιν ὃν ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ Φαραω καὶ τοῖς θεράπουσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ πάσῃ τῇ γῇ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Deu 34:11 in omnibus signis atque portentis, quæ misit per eum, ut faceret in terra Ægypti Pharaoni, et omnibus servis ejus, universæque terræ illius,(vulgate) 11 ׃34 לְכָל־הָ֨אֹת֜וֹת וְהַמּוֹפְתִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר שְׁלָחוֹ֙ יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְפַרְעֹ֥ה וּלְכָל־עֲבָדָ֖יו וּלְכָל־אַרְצֽוֹ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:11 zu allerlei Zeichen und Wundern, dazu ihn der HERR sandte, daß er sie täte in Ägyptenland an Pharao und an allen seinen Knechten und an allem seinem Lande(dhs) Deu 34:11 in all the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 34:12 ============ Deu 34:12 and for all the mighty power and for all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.(nas) Deu 34:12 τὰ θαυμάσια τὰ μεγάλα καὶ τὴν χεῖρα τὴν κραταιάν ἃ ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς ἔναντι παντὸς Ισραηλ (lxx) Deu 34:12 et cunctam manum robustam, magnaque mirabilia, quæ fecit Moyses coram universo Israël.(vulgate) 12 ׃34 וּלְכֹל֙ הַיָּ֣ד הַחֲזָקָ֔ה וּלְכֹ֖ל הַמּוֹרָ֣א הַגָּד֑וֹל אֲשֶׁר֙ עָשָׂ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Deuteronomy Deu 34:12 und zu aller dieser mächtigen Hand und den schrecklichen Taten, die Mose tat vor den Augen des ganzen Israels.(dhs) Deu 34:12 and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.(nkjv) top of the page
