Today's Date: ======= 2 Samuel 7:1 ============ 2Sa 7:1 Now it came about when the king lived in his house, and the Lord had given him rest on every side from all his enemies,(nas) 2Sa 7:1 καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐκάθισεν ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ κύριος κατεκληρονόμησεν αὐτὸν κύκλῳ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ τῶν κύκλῳ (lxx) 2Sa 7:1 Factum est autem cum sedisset rex in domo sua, et Dominus dedisset ei requiem undique ab universis inimicis suis,(vulgate) 1 ׃7 וַיְהִ֕י כִּי־יָשַׁ֥ב הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ בְּבֵית֑וֹ וַיהוָ֛ה הֵנִֽיחַ־ל֥וֹ מִסָּבִ֖יב מִכָּל־אֹיְבָֽיו׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:1 Da nun der König in seinem Hause saß und der HERR ihm Ruhe gegeben hatte von allen seinen Feinden umher,(dhs) 2Sa 7:1 Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies all around,(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:2 ============ 2Sa 7:2 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells within tent curtains."(nas) 2Sa 7:2 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ βασιλεὺς πρὸς Ναθαν τὸν προφήτην ἰδοὺ δὴ ἐγὼ κατοικῶ ἐν οἴκῳ κεδρίνῳ καὶ ἡ κιβωτὸς τοῦ θεοῦ κάθηται ἐν μέσῳ τῆς σκηνῆς (lxx) 2Sa 7:2 dixit ad Nathan prophetam: Videsne quod ego habitem in domo cedrina, et arca Dei posita sit in medio pellium?(vulgate) 2 ׃7 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶל־נָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֔יא רְאֵ֣ה נָ֔א אָנֹכִ֥י יוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּבֵ֣ית אֲרָזִ֑ים וַֽאֲרוֹן֙ הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים יֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיְרִיעָֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:2 sprach er zu dem Propheten Nathan: Siehe, ich wohne in einem Zedernhause, und die Lade Gottes wohnt unter den Teppichen.(dhs) 2Sa 7:2 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:3 ============ 2Sa 7:3 Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that is in your mind, for the Lord is with you."(nas) 2Sa 7:3 καὶ εἶπεν Ναθαν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου βάδιζε καὶ ποίει ὅτι κύριος μετὰ σοῦ (lxx) 2Sa 7:3 Dixitque Nathan ad regem: Omne quod est in corde tuo, vade, fac: quia Dominus tecum est.(vulgate) 3 ׃7 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר נָתָן֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּֽלְבָבְךָ֖ לֵ֣ךְ עֲשֵׂ֑ה כִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה עִמָּֽךְ׃ ס Samuel2 2Sa 7:3 Nathan sprach zu dem König: Gehe hin; alles, was du in deinem Herzen hast, das tue, denn der HERR ist mit dir.(dhs) 2Sa 7:3 Then Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:4 ============ 2Sa 7:4 But in the same night the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying,(nas) 2Sa 7:4 καὶ ἐγένετο τῇ νυκτὶ ἐκείνῃ καὶ ἐγένετο ῥῆμα κυρίου πρὸς Ναθαν λέγων (lxx) 2Sa 7:4 Factum est autem in illa nocte: et ecce sermo Domini ad Nathan, dicens:(vulgate) 4 ׃7 וַיְהִ֖י בַּלַּ֣יְלָה הַה֑וּא וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־נָתָ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:4 Des Nachts aber kam das Wort des HERRN zu Nathan und sprach:(dhs) 2Sa 7:4 But it happened that night that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying,(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:5 ============ 2Sa 7:5 "Go and say to My servant David, 'Thus says the Lord, "Are you the one who should build Me a house to dwell in?(nas) 2Sa 7:5 πορεύου καὶ εἰπὸν πρὸς τὸν δοῦλόν μου Δαυιδ τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐ σὺ οἰκοδομήσεις μοι οἶκον τοῦ κατοικῆσαί με (lxx) 2Sa 7:5 Vade, et loquere ad servum meum David: Hæc dicit Dominus: Numquid tu ædificabis mihi domum ad habitandum?(vulgate) 5 ׃7 לֵ֤ךְ וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ אֶל־עַבְדִּ֣י אֶל־דָּוִ֔ד כֹּ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה הַאַתָּ֛ה תִּבְנֶה־לִּ֥י בַ֖יִת לְשִׁבְתִּֽי׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:5 Gehe hin und sage meinem Knechte David: So spricht der HERR: Solltest du mir ein Haus bauen, daß ich darin wohne?(dhs) 2Sa 7:5 "Go and tell My servant David, 'Thus says the Lord: "Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:6 ============ 2Sa 7:6 For I have not dwelt in a house since the day I brought up the sons of Israel from Egypt, even to this day; but I have been moving about in a tent, even in a tabernacle.(nas) 2Sa 7:6 ὅτι οὐ κατῴκηκα ἐν οἴκῳ ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας ἀνήγαγον ἐξ Αἰγύπτου τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης καὶ ἤμην ἐμπεριπατῶν ἐν καταλύματι καὶ ἐν σκηνῇ (lxx) 2Sa 7:6 Neque enim habitavi in domo ex die illa, qua eduxi filios Israël de terra Ægypti, usque in diem hanc: sed ambulabam in tabernaculo, et in tentorio.(vulgate) 6 ׃7 כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ בְּבַ֔יִת לְ֠מִיּוֹם הַעֲלֹתִ֞י אֶת־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם וְעַ֖ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וָאֶֽהְיֶה֙ מִתְהַלֵּ֔ךְ בְּאֹ֖הֶל וּבְמִשְׁכָּֽן׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:6 Habe ich doch in keinem Hause gewohnt seit dem Tage, da ich die Kinder Israel aus Ägypten führte, bis auf diesen Tag, sondern ich habe gewandelt in der Hütte und Wohnung.(dhs) 2Sa 7:6 For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:7 ============ 2Sa 7:7 Wherever I have gone with all the sons of Israel, did I speak a word with one of the tribes of Israel, which I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, 'Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?'"'(nas) 2Sa 7:7 ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς διῆλθον ἐν παντὶ Ισραηλ εἰ λαλῶν ἐλάλησα πρὸς μίαν φυλὴν τοῦ Ισραηλ ᾧ ἐνετειλάμην ποιμαίνειν τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ λέγων τί ὅτι οὐκ ᾠκοδομήκατέ μοι οἶκον κέδρινον (lxx) 2Sa 7:7 Per cuncta loca quæ transivi cum omnibus filiis Israël, numquid loquens locutus sum ad unam de tribubus Israël, cui præcepi ut pasceret populum meum Israël, dicens: Quare non ædificastis mihi domum cedrinam?~(vulgate) 7 ׃7 בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶֽׁר־הִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֮ בְּכָל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ הֲדָבָ֣ר דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי אֶת־אַחַד֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוִּ֗יתִי לִרְע֛וֹת אֶת־עַמִּ֥י אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר לָ֛מָּה לֹֽא־בְנִיתֶ֥ם לִ֖י בֵּ֥ית אֲרָזִֽים׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:7 Wo ich mit allen Kinder Israel hin wandelte, habe ich auch je geredet mit irgend der Stämme Israels einem, dem ich befohlen habe, mein Volk Israel zu weiden, und gesagt: Warum baut ihr mir nicht ein Zedernhaus?(dhs) 2Sa 7:7 Wherever I have moved about with all the children of Israel, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, 'Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?' " '(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:8 ============ 2Sa 7:8 "Now therefore, thus you shall say to My servant David, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel.(nas) 2Sa 7:8 καὶ νῦν τάδε ἐρεῖς τῷ δούλῳ μου Δαυιδ τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἔλαβόν σε ἐκ τῆς μάνδρας τῶν προβάτων τοῦ εἶναί σε εἰς ἡγούμενον ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ (lxx) 2Sa 7:8 Et nunc hæc dices servo meo David: Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Ego tuli te de pascuis sequentem greges, ut esses dux super populum meum Israël:(vulgate) 8 ׃7 וְ֠עַתָּה כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֞ר לְעַבְדִּ֣י לְדָוִ֗ד כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲנִ֤י לְקַחְתִּ֙יךָ֙ מִן־הַנָּוֶ֔ה מֵאַחַ֖ר הַצֹּ֑אן לִֽהְי֣וֹת נָגִ֔יד עַל־עַמִּ֖י עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:8 So sollst du nun so sagen meinem Knechte David: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich habe dich genommen von den Schafhürden, daß du sein solltest ein Fürst über mein Volk Israel,(dhs) 2Sa 7:8 Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:9 ============ 2Sa 7:9 I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a great name, like the names of the great men who are on the earth.(nas) 2Sa 7:9 καὶ ἤμην μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐπορεύου καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσα πάντας τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἐποίησά σε ὀνομαστὸν κατὰ τὸ ὄνομα τῶν μεγάλων τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) 2Sa 7:9 et fui tecum in omnibus ubicumque ambulasti, et interfeci universos inimicos tuos a facie tua: fecique tibi nomen grande, juxta nomen magnorum qui sunt in terra.(vulgate) 9 ׃7 וָאֶהְיֶ֣ה עִמְּךָ֗ בְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָלַ֔כְתָּ וָאַכְרִ֥תָה אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבֶ֖יךָ מִפָּנֶ֑יךָ וְעָשִׂ֤תִֽי לְךָ֙ שֵׁ֣ם גָּד֔וֹל כְּשֵׁ֥ם הַגְּדֹלִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:9 und bin mit dir gewesen, wo du hin gegangen bist, und habe alle deine Feinde vor dir ausgerottet und habe dir einen großen Namen gemacht wie der Name der Großen auf Erden.(dhs) 2Sa 7:9 And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:10 ============ 2Sa 7:10 I will also appoint a place for My people Israel and will plant them, that they may live in their own place and not be disturbed again, nor will the wicked afflict them any more as formerly,(nas) 2Sa 7:10 καὶ θήσομαι τόπον τῷ λαῷ μου τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ καταφυτεύσω αὐτόν καὶ κατασκηνώσει καθ᾽ ἑαυτὸν καὶ οὐ μεριμνήσει οὐκέτι καὶ οὐ προσθήσει υἱὸς ἀδικίας τοῦ ταπεινῶσαι αὐτὸν καθὼς ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς (lxx) 2Sa 7:10 Et ponam locum populo meo Israël, et plantabo eum, et habitabit sub eo, et non turbabitur amplius: nec addent filii iniquitatis ut affligant eum sicut prius,(vulgate) 10 ׃7 וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י מָ֠קוֹם לְעַמִּ֨י לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל וּנְטַעְתִּיו֙ וְשָׁכַ֣ן תַּחְתָּ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יִרְגַּ֖ז ע֑וֹד וְלֹֽא־יֹסִ֤יפוּ בְנֵֽי־עַוְלָה֙ לְעַנּוֹת֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר בָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:10 Und ich will meinem Volk Israel einen Ort setzen und will es pflanzen, daß es daselbst wohne und nicht mehr in der Irre gehe, und es Kinder der Bosheit nicht mehr drängen wie vormals und seit der Zeit, daß ich Richter über mein Volk Israel verordnet habe;(dhs) 2Sa 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously,(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:11 ============ 2Sa 7:11 even from the day that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. The Lord also declares to you that the Lord will make a house for you.(nas) 2Sa 7:11 ἀπὸ τῶν ἡμερῶν ὧν ἔταξα κριτὰς ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ καὶ ἀναπαύσω σε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν σου καὶ ἀπαγγελεῖ σοι κύριος ὅτι οἶκον οἰκοδομήσεις αὐτῷ (lxx) 2Sa 7:11 ex die qua constitui judices super populum meum Israël: et requiem dabo tibi ab omnibus inimicis tuis: prædicitque tibi Dominus quod domum faciat tibi Dominus.(vulgate) 11 ׃7 וּלְמִן־הַיּ֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוִּ֤יתִי שֹֽׁפְטִים֙ עַל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַהֲנִיחֹ֥תִי לְךָ֖ מִכָּל־אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ וְהִגִּ֤יד לְךָ֙ יְהוָ֔ה כִּי־בַ֖יִת יַעֲשֶׂה־לְּךָ֥ יְהוָֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:11 und will Ruhe geben von allen deinen Feinden. Und der HERR verkündigt dir, daß der HERR dir ein Haus machen will.(dhs) 2Sa 7:11 since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:12 ============ 2Sa 7:12 When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom.(nas) 2Sa 7:12 καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν πληρωθῶσιν αἱ ἡμέραι σου καὶ κοιμηθήσῃ μετὰ τῶν πατέρων σου καὶ ἀναστήσω τὸ σπέρμα σου μετὰ σέ ὃς ἔσται ἐκ τῆς κοιλίας σου καὶ ἑτοιμάσω τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ (lxx) 2Sa 7:12 Cumque completi fuerint dies tui, et dormieris cum patribus tuis, suscitabo semen tuum post te, quod egredietur de utero tuo, et firmabo regnum ejus.(vulgate) 12 ׃7 כִּ֣י ׀ יִמְלְא֣וּ יָמֶ֗יךָ וְשָֽׁכַבְתָּ֙ אֶת־אֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ וַהֲקִימֹתִ֤י אֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֙ אַחֲרֶ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֵצֵ֖א מִמֵּעֶ֑יךָ וַהֲכִינֹתִ֖י אֶת־מַמְלַכְתּֽוֹ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:12 Wenn nun deine Zeit hin ist, daß du mit deinen Vätern schlafen liegst, will ich deinen Samen nach dir erwecken, der von deinem Leibe kommen soll; dem will ich sein Reich bestätigen.(dhs) 2Sa 7:12 "When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:13 ============ 2Sa 7:13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.(nas) 2Sa 7:13 αὐτὸς οἰκοδομήσει μοι οἶκον τῷ ὀνόματί μου καὶ ἀνορθώσω τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ ἕως εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα (lxx) 2Sa 7:13 Ipse ædificabit domum nomini meo, et stabiliam thronum regni ejus usque in sempiternum.(vulgate) 13 ׃7 ה֥וּא יִבְנֶה־בַּ֖יִת לִשְׁמִ֑י וְכֹנַנְתִּ֛י אֶת־כִּסֵּ֥א מַמְלַכְתּ֖וֹ עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:13 Der soll meinem Namen ein Haus bauen, und ich will den Stuhl seines Königreichs bestätigen ewiglich.(dhs) 2Sa 7:13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:14 ============ 2Sa 7:14 I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me; when he commits iniquity, I will correct him with the rod of men and the strokes of the sons of men,(nas) 2Sa 7:14 ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῷ εἰς πατέρα καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται μοι εἰς υἱόν καὶ ἐὰν ἔλθῃ ἡ ἀδικία αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐλέγξω αὐτὸν ἐν ῥάβδῳ ἀνδρῶν καὶ ἐν ἁφαῖς υἱῶν ἀνθρώπων (lxx) 2Sa 7:14 Ego ero ei in patrem, et ipse erit mihi in filium: qui si inique aliquid gesserit, arguam eum in virga virorum, et in plagis filiorum hominum.(vulgate) 14 ׃7 אֲנִי֙ אֶהְיֶה־לּ֣וֹ לְאָ֔ב וְה֖וּא יִהְיֶה־לִּ֣י לְבֵ֑ן אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּהַ֣עֲוֺת֔וֹ וְהֹֽכַחְתִּיו֙ בְּשֵׁ֣בֶט אֲנָשִׁ֔ים וּבְנִגְעֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:14 Ich will sein Vater sein, und er soll mein Sohn sein. Wenn er eine Missetat tut, will ich ihn mit Menschenruten und mit der Menschenkinder Schlägen strafen;(dhs) 2Sa 7:14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:15 ============ 2Sa 7:15 but My lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.(nas) 2Sa 7:15 τὸ δὲ ἔλεός μου οὐκ ἀποστήσω ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καθὼς ἀπέστησα ἀφ᾽ ὧν ἀπέστησα ἐκ προσώπου μου (lxx) 2Sa 7:15 Misericordiam autem meam non auferam ab eo, sicut abstuli a Saul, quem amovi a facie mea.(vulgate) 15 ׃7 וְחַסְדִּ֖י לֹא־יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נּוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר הֲסִרֹ֙תִי֙ מֵעִ֣ם שָׁא֔וּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֲסִרֹ֖תִי מִלְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:15 aber meine Barmherzigkeit soll nicht von ihm entwandt werden, wie ich sie entwandt habe von Saul, den ich vor dir habe weggenommen.(dhs) 2Sa 7:15 But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:16 ============ 2Sa 7:16 Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever."'"(nas) 2Sa 7:16 καὶ πιστωθήσεται ὁ οἶκος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ καὶ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἀνωρθωμένος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα (lxx) 2Sa 7:16 Et fidelis erit domus tua, et regnum tuum usque in æternum ante faciem tuam, et thronus tuus erit firmus jugiter.(vulgate) 16 ׃7 וְנֶאְמַ֨ן בֵּיתְךָ֧ וּמַֽמְלַכְתְּךָ֛ עַד־עוֹלָ֖ם לְפָנֶ֑יךָ כִּֽסְאֲךָ֔ יִהְיֶ֥ה נָכ֖וֹן עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:16 Aber dein Haus und dein Königreich soll beständig sein ewiglich vor dir, und dein Stuhl soll ewiglich bestehen.(dhs) 2Sa 7:16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever." And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:19 ============ 2Sa 7:19 And yet this was insignificant in Your eyes, O Lord God, for You have spoken also of the house of Your servant concerning the distant future. And this is the custom of man, O Lord God.(nas) 2Sa 7:19 καὶ κατεσμικρύνθη μικρὸν ἐνώπιόν σου κύριέ μου κύριε καὶ ἐλάλησας ὑπὲρ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ δούλου σου εἰς μακράν οὗτος δὲ ὁ νόμος τοῦ ἀνθρώπου κύριέ μου κύριε (lxx) 2Sa 7:19 Sed et hoc parum visum est in conspectu tuo, Domine Deus, nisi loquereris etiam de domo servi tui in longinquum: ista est enim lex Adam, Domine Deus.(vulgate) 19 ׃7 וַתִּקְטַן֩ ע֨וֹד זֹ֤את בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וַתְּדַבֵּ֛ר גַּ֥ם אֶל־בֵּֽית־עַבְדְּךָ֖ לְמֵֽרָח֑וֹק וְזֹ֛את תּוֹרַ֥ת הָאָדָ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:19 Dazu hast du das zu wenig geachtet HERR HERR, sondern hast dem Hause deines Knechts noch von fernem Zukünftigem geredet, und das nach Menschenweise, HERR HERR!(dhs) 2Sa 7:19 And yet this was a small thing in Your sight, O Lord God; and You have also spoken of Your servant's house for a great while to come. For You know Your servant, O Lord God!(nas) 2Sa 7:20 καὶ τί προσθήσει Δαυιδ ἔτι τοῦ λαλῆσαι πρὸς σέ καὶ νῦν σὺ οἶδας τὸν δοῦλόν σου κύριέ μου κύριε (lxx) 2Sa 7:20 Quid ergo addere poterit adhuc David, ut loquatur ad te? tu enim scis servum tuum, Domine Deus.(vulgate) 20 ׃7 וּמַה־יּוֹסִ֥יף דָּוִ֛ד ע֖וֹד לְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֶ֑יךָ וְאַתָּ֛ה יָדַ֥עְתָּ אֶֽת־עַבְדְּךָ֖ אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:20 Und was soll David mehr reden mit dir? Du erkennst deinen Knecht, HERR HERR!(dhs) 2Sa 7:20 Now what more can David say to You? For You, Lord God, know Your servant.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:21 ============ 2Sa 7:21 For the sake of Your word, and according to Your own heart, You have done all this greatness to let Your servant know.(nas) 2Sa 7:21 διὰ τὸν λόγον σου πεποίηκας καὶ κατὰ τὴν καρδίαν σου ἐποίησας πᾶσαν τὴν μεγαλωσύνην ταύτην γνωρίσαι τῷ δούλῳ σου (lxx) 2Sa 7:21 Propter verbum tuum, et secundum cor tuum, fecisti omnia magnalia hæc, ita ut notum faceres servo tuo.(vulgate) 21 ׃7 בַּעֲב֤וּר דְּבָֽרְךָ֙ וּֽכְלִבְּךָ֔ עָשִׂ֕יתָ אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַגְּדוּלָּ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את לְהוֹדִ֖יעַ אֶת־עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:21 Um deines Wortes willen und nach deinem Herzen hast du solche großen Dinge alle getan, daß du sie deinem Knecht kundtätest.(dhs) 2Sa 7:21 For Your word's sake, and according to Your own heart, You have done all these great things, to make Your servant know them.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:22 ============ 2Sa 7:22 For this reason You are great, O Lord God; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.(nas) 2Sa 7:22 ἕνεκεν τοῦ μεγαλῦναί σε κύριέ μου κύριε ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὡς σὺ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν σοῦ ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἠκούσαμεν ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν ἡμῶν (lxx) 2Sa 7:22 Idcirco magnificatus es, Domine Deus, quia non est similis tui, neque est deus extra te, in omnibus quæ audivimus auribus nostris.(vulgate) 22 ׃7 עַל־כֵּ֥ן גָּדַ֖לְתָּ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה כִּֽי־אֵֽין כָּמ֗וֹךָ וְאֵ֤ין אֱלֹהִים֙ זֽוּלָתֶ֔ךָ בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ בְּאָזְנֵֽינוּ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:22 Darum bist du auch groß geachtet, HERR, Gott; denn es ist keiner wie du und ist kein Gott als du, nach allem, was wir mit unsern Ohren gehört haben.(dhs) 2Sa 7:22 Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:23 ============ 2Sa 7:23 And what one nation on the earth is like Your people Israel, whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people and to make a name for Himself, and to do a great thing for You and awesome things for Your land, before Your people whom You have redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, from nations and their gods?(nas) 2Sa 7:23 καὶ τίς ὡς ὁ λαός σου Ισραηλ ἔθνος ἄλλο ἐν τῇ γῇ ὡς ὡδήγησεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεὸς τοῦ λυτρώσασθαι αὐτῷ λαὸν τοῦ θέσθαι σε ὄνομα τοῦ ποιῆσαι μεγαλωσύνην καὶ ἐπιφάνειαν τοῦ ἐκβαλεῖν σε ἐκ προσώπου τοῦ λαοῦ σου οὗ ἐλυτρώσω σεαυτῷ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἔθνη καὶ σκηνώματα (lxx) 2Sa 7:23 Quæ est autem ut populus tuus Israël gens in terra, propter quam ivit Deus ut redimeret eam sibi in populum, et poneret sibi nomen, faceretque eis magnalia et horribilia super terram a facie populi tui quem redemisti tibi ex Ægypto, gentem, et deum ejus.(vulgate) 23 ׃7 וּמִ֤י כְעַמְּךָ֙ כְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל גּ֥וֹי אֶחָ֖ד בָּאָ֑רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָלְכֽוּ־אֱ֠לֹהִים לִפְדּֽוֹת־ל֨וֹ לְעָ֜ם וְלָשׂ֧וּם ל֣וֹ שֵׁ֗ם וְלַעֲשׂ֨וֹת לָכֶ֜ם הַגְּדוּלָּ֤ה וְנֹֽרָאוֹת֙ לְאַרְצֶ֔ךָ מִפְּנֵ֣י עַמְּךָ֗ אֲשֶׁ֨ר פָּדִ֤יתָ לְּךָ֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם גּוֹיִ֖ם וֵאלֹהָֽיו׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:23 Denn wo ist ein Volk auf Erden wie dein Volk Israel, um welches willen Gott ist hingegangen, sich ein Volk zu erlösen und sich einen Namen zu machen und solch große und schreckliche Dinge zu tun in deinem Lande vor deinem Volk, welches du dir erlöst hast von Ägypten, von den Heiden und ihren Göttern?(dhs) 2Sa 7:23 And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name--and to do for Yourself great and awesome deeds for Your land--before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, the nations, and their gods?(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:24 ============ 2Sa 7:24 For You have established for Yourself Your people Israel as Your own people forever, and You, O Lord, have become their God.(nas) 2Sa 7:24 καὶ ἡτοίμασας σεαυτῷ τὸν λαόν σου Ισραηλ λαὸν ἕως αἰῶνος καὶ σύ κύριε ἐγένου αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν (lxx) 2Sa 7:24 Firmasti enim tibi populum tuum Israël in populum sempiternum: et tu, Domine Deus, factus es eis in Deum.(vulgate) 24 ׃7 וַתְּכ֣וֹנֵֽן לְ֠ךָ אֶת־עַמְּךָ֨ יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל ׀ לְךָ֛ לְעָ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם וְאַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה הָיִ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ ס Samuel2 2Sa 7:24 Und du hast dir dein Volk Israel zubereitet, dir zum Volk in Ewigkeit; und du, HERR, bist ihr Gott geworden.(dhs) 2Sa 7:24 For You have made Your people Israel Your very own people forever; and You, Lord, have become their God.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:25 ============ 2Sa 7:25 Now therefore, O Lord God, the word that You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house, confirm it forever, and do as You have spoken,(nas) 2Sa 7:25 καὶ νῦν κύριέ μου κύριε τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐλάλησας περὶ τοῦ δούλου σου καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ πίστωσον ἕως αἰῶνος κύριε παντοκράτωρ θεὲ τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ νῦν καθὼς ἐλάλησας (lxx) 2Sa 7:25 Nunc ergo Domine Deus, verbum quod locutus es super servum tuum, et super domum ejus, suscita in sempiternum: et fac sicut locutus es,(vulgate) 25 ׃7 וְעַתָּה֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔ים הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבַּ֤רְתָּ עַֽל־עַבְדְּךָ֙ וְעַל־בֵּית֔וֹ הָקֵ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם וַעֲשֵׂ֖ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:25 So bekräftige nun, HERR, Gott, das Wort in Ewigkeit, das du über deinen Knecht und über sein Haus geredet hast, und tue, wie du geredet hast!(dhs) 2Sa 7:25 Now, O Lord God, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house, establish it forever and do as You have said.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 7:26 ============ 2Sa 7:26 that Your name may be magnified forever, by saying, 'The Lord of hosts is God over Israel'; and may the house of Your servant David be established before You.(nas) 2Sa 7:26 μεγαλυνθείη τὸ ὄνομά σου ἕως αἰῶνος (lxx) 2Sa 7:26 ut magnificetur nomen tuum usque in sempiternum, atque dicatur: Dominus exercituum, Deus super Israël. Et domus servi tui David erit stabilita coram Domino,(vulgate) 26 ׃7 וְיִגְדַּ֨ל שִׁמְךָ֤ עַד־עוֹלָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֱלֹהִ֖ים עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּבֵית֙ עַבְדְּךָ֣ דָוִ֔ד יִהְיֶ֥ה נָכ֖וֹן לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 7:26 So wird dein Name groß werden in Ewigkeit, daß man wird sagen: Der HERR Zebaoth ist der Gott über Israel, und das Haus deines Knechtes David wird bestehen vor dir.(dhs) 2Sa 7:26 So let Your name be magnified forever, saying, 'The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel.'
