Dixitque Isboseth ad Abner:(vulgate) 7 ׃3 וּלְשָׁא֣וּל פִּלֶ֔גֶשׁ וּשְׁמָ֖הּ רִצְפָּ֣ה בַת־אַיָּ֑ה וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אַבְנֵ֔ר מַדּ֥וּעַ בָּ֖אתָה אֶל־פִּילֶ֥גֶשׁ אָבִֽי׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:7 Und Saul hatte ein Kebsweib, die hieß Rizpa, eine Tochter Ajas. Und Is-Boseth sprach zu Abner: Warum hast du dich getan zu meines Vaters Kebsweib?(dhs) 2Sa 3:7 And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah. So Ishbosheth said to Abner, "Why have you gone in to my father's concubine?"(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:8 ============ 2Sa 3:8 Then Abner was very angry over the words of Ish-bosheth and said, "Am I a dog's head that belongs to Judah? Today I show kindness to the house of Saul your father, to his brothers and to his friends, and have not delivered you into the hands of David; and yet today you charge me with a guilt concerning the woman.(nas) 2Sa 3:8 καὶ ἐθυμώθη σφόδρα Αβεννηρ περὶ τοῦ λόγου Μεμφιβοσθε καὶ εἶπεν Αβεννηρ πρὸς αὐτόν μὴ κεφαλὴ κυνὸς ἐγώ εἰμι ἐποίησα ἔλεος σήμερον μετὰ τοῦ οἴκου Σαουλ τοῦ πατρός σου καὶ περὶ ἀδελφῶν καὶ γνωρίμων καὶ οὐκ ηὐτομόλησα εἰς τὸν οἶκον Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπιζητεῖς ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ὑπὲρ ἀδικίας γυναικὸς σήμερον (lxx) 2Sa 3:8 Quare ingressus es ad concubinam patris mei? Qui iratus nimis propter verba Isboseth, ait: Numquid caput canis ego sum adversum Judam hodie, qui fecerim misericordiam super domum Saul patris tui, et super fratres et proximos ejus, et non tradidi te in manus David, et tu requisisti in me quod argueres pro muliere hodie?(vulgate) 8 ׃3 וַיִּחַר֩ לְאַבְנֵ֨ר מְאֹ֜ד עַל־דִּבְרֵ֣י אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֗שֶׁת וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הֲרֹ֨אשׁ כֶּ֥לֶב אָנֹ֘כִי֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִֽיהוּדָה֒ הַיּ֨וֹם אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־חֶ֜סֶד עִם־בֵּ֣ית ׀ שָׁא֣וּל אָבִ֗יךָ אֶל־אֶחָיו֙ וְאֶל־מֵ֣רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְלֹ֥א הִמְצִיתִ֖ךָ בְּיַד־דָּוִ֑ד וַתִּפְקֹ֥ד עָלַ֛י עֲוֺ֥ן הָאִשָּׁ֖ה הַיּֽוֹם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:8 Da ward Abner sehr zornig über die Worte Is-Boseths und sprach: Bin ich denn ein Hundskopf, der ich wider Juda an dem Hause Sauls, deines Vaters, und an seinen Brüdern und Freunden Barmherzigkeit tue und habe dich nicht in Davids Hände gegeben? Und du rechnest mir heute eine Missetat zu um ein Weib?(dhs) 2Sa 3:8 Then Abner became very angry at the words of Ishbosheth, and said, "Am I a dog's head that belongs to Judah? Today I show loyalty to the house of Saul your father, to his brothers, and to his friends, and have not delivered you into the hand of David; and you charge me today with a fault concerning this woman?(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:9 ============ 2Sa 3:9 May God do so to Abner, and more also, if as the Lord has sworn to David, I do not accomplish this for him,(nas) 2Sa 3:9 τάδε ποιήσαι ὁ θεὸς τῷ Αβεννηρ καὶ τάδε προσθείη αὐτῷ ὅτι καθὼς ὤμοσεν κύριος τῷ Δαυιδ ὅτι οὕτως ποιήσω αὐτῷ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ (lxx) 2Sa 3:9 Hæc faciat Deus Abner, et hæc addat ei, nisi quomodo juravit Dominus David, sic faciam cum eo,(vulgate) 9 ׃3 כֹּֽה־יַעֲשֶׂ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ לְאַבְנֵ֔ר וְכֹ֖ה יֹסִ֣יף ל֑וֹ כִּ֗י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֤ע יְהוָה֙ לְדָוִ֔ד כִּֽי־כֵ֖ן אֶֽעֶשֶׂה־לּֽוֹ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:9 Gott tue Abner dies und das, wenn ich nicht tue, wie der HERR dem David geschworen hat,(dhs) 2Sa 3:9 May God do so to Abner, and more also, if I do not do for David as the Lord has sworn to him--(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:10 ============ 2Sa 3:10 to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and to establish the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba."(nas) 2Sa 3:10 περιελεῖν τὴν βασιλείαν ἀπὸ τοῦ οἴκου Σαουλ καὶ τοῦ ἀναστῆσαι τὸν θρόνον Δαυιδ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν ἀπὸ Δαν ἕως Βηρσαβεε (lxx) 2Sa 3:10 ut transferatur regnum de domo Saul, et elevetur thronus David super Israël et super Judam, a Dan usque Bersabee.(vulgate) 10 ׃3 לְהַֽעֲבִ֥יר הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה מִבֵּ֣ית שָׁא֑וּל וּלְהָקִ֞ים אֶת־כִּסֵּ֣א דָוִ֗ד עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְעַל־יְהוּדָ֔ה מִדָּ֖ן וְעַד־בְּאֵ֥ר שָֽׁבַע׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:10 daß das Königreich vom Hause Saul genommen werde und der Stuhl Davids aufgerichtet werde über Israel und Juda von Dan bis gen Beer-Seba.(dhs) 2Sa 3:10 to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul, and set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan to Beersheba."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:11 ============ 2Sa 3:11 And he could no longer answer Abner a word, because he was afraid of him.(nas) 2Sa 3:11 καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθη ἔτι Μεμφιβοσθε ἀποκριθῆναι τῷ Αβεννηρ ῥῆμα ἀπὸ τοῦ φοβεῖσθαι αὐτόν (lxx) 2Sa 3:11 Et non potuit respondere ei quidquam, quia metuebat illum.(vulgate) 11 ׃3 וְלֹֽא־יָכֹ֣ל ע֔וֹד לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־אַבְנֵ֖ר דָּבָ֑ר מִיִּרְאָת֖וֹ אֹתֽוֹ׃ ס Samuel2 2Sa 3:11 Da konnte er fürder ihm kein Wort mehr antworten, so fürchtete er sich vor ihm.(dhs) 2Sa 3:11 And he could not answer Abner another word, because he feared him.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:12 ============ 2Sa 3:12 Then Abner sent messengers to David in his place, saying, "Whose is the land? Make your covenant with me, and behold, my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel over to you."(nas) 2Sa 3:12 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Αβεννηρ ἀγγέλους πρὸς Δαυιδ εἰς Θαιλαμ οὗ ἦν παραχρῆμα λέγων διάθου διαθήκην σου μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἰδοὺ ἡ χείρ μου μετὰ σοῦ τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι πρὸς σὲ πάντα τὸν οἶκον Ισραηλ (lxx) 2Sa 3:12 Misit ergo Abner nuntios ad David pro se dicentes: Cujus est terra? et ut loquerentur: Fac mecum amicitias, et erit manus mea tecum, et reducam ad te universum Israël.(vulgate) 12 ׃3 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ אַבְנֵ֨ר מַלְאָכִ֧ים ׀ אֶל־דָּוִ֛ד *תחתו **תַּחְתָּ֥יו לֵאמֹ֖ר לְמִי־אָ֑רֶץ לֵאמֹ֗ר כָּרְתָ֤ה בְרִֽיתְךָ֙ אִתִּ֔י וְהִנֵּה֙ יָדִ֣י עִמָּ֔ךְ לְהָסֵ֥ב אֵלֶ֖יךָ אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:12 Und Abner sandte Boten zu David für sich und ließ ihm sagen: Wes ist das Land? Und sprach: Mache einen Bund mit mir; siehe, meine Hand soll mit dir sein, daß ich zu dir kehre das ganze Israel.(dhs) 2Sa 3:12 Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to David, saying, "Whose is the land?" saying also, "Make your covenant with me, and indeed my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel to you."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:13 ============ 2Sa 3:13 He said, "Good! I will make a covenant with you, but I demand one thing of you, namely, you shall not see my face unless you first bring Michal, Saul's daughter, when you come to see me."(nas) 2Sa 3:13 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ ἐγὼ καλῶς διαθήσομαι πρὸς σὲ διαθήκην πλὴν λόγον ἕνα ἐγὼ αἰτοῦμαι παρὰ σοῦ λέγων οὐκ ὄψει τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐὰν μὴ ἀγάγῃς τὴν Μελχολ θυγατέρα Σαουλ παραγινομένου σου ἰδεῖν τὸ πρόσωπόν μου (lxx) 2Sa 3:13 Qui ait: Optime: ego faciam tecum amicitias: sed unam rem peto a te, dicens: Non videbis faciem meam antequam adduxeris Michol filiam Saul: et sic venies, et videbis me.(vulgate) 13 ׃3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ט֔וֹב אֲנִ֕י אֶכְרֹ֥ת אִתְּךָ֖ בְּרִ֑ית אַ֣ךְ דָּבָ֣ר אֶחָ֡ד אָנֹכִי֩ שֹׁאֵ֨ל מֵאִתְּךָ֤ לֵאמֹר֙ לֹא־תִרְאֶ֣ה אֶת־פָּנַ֔י כִּ֣י ׀ אִם־לִפְנֵ֣י הֱבִיאֲךָ֗ אֵ֚ת מִיכַ֣ל בַּת־שָׁא֔וּל בְּבֹאֲךָ֖ לִרְא֥וֹת אֶת־פָּנָֽי׃ ס Samuel2 2Sa 3:13 Er sprach: Wohl, ich will einen Bund mit dir machen. Aber eins bitte ich von dir, daß du mein Angesicht nicht sehest, du bringst denn zuvor Michal, Sauls Tochter, wenn du kommst, mein Angesicht zu sehen.(dhs) 2Sa 3:13 And David said, "Good, I will make a covenant with you. But one thing I require of you: you shall not see my face unless you first bring Michal, Saul's daughter, when you come to see my face."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:14 ============ 2Sa 3:14 So David sent messengers to Ish-bosheth, Saul's son, saying, "Give me my wife Michal, to whom I was betrothed for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines."(nas) 2Sa 3:14 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν Δαυιδ πρὸς Μεμφιβοσθε υἱὸν Σαουλ ἀγγέλους λέγων ἀπόδος μοι τὴν γυναῖκά μου τὴν Μελχολ ἣν ἔλαβον ἐν ἑκατὸν ἀκροβυστίαις ἀλλοφύλων (lxx) 2Sa 3:14 Misit autem David nuntios ad Isboseth filium Saul, dicens: Redde uxorem meam Michol, quam despondi mihi centum præputiis Philisthiim.(vulgate) 14 ׃3 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח דָּוִד֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֥שֶׁת בֶּן־שָׁא֖וּל לֵאמֹ֑ר תְּנָ֤ה אֶת־אִשְׁתִּי֙ אֶת־מִיכַ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ אֵרַ֣שְׂתִּי לִ֔י בְּמֵאָ֖ה עָרְל֥וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:14 Auch sandte David Boten zu Is-Boseth, dem Sohn Sauls, und ließ ihm sagen: Gib mir mein Weib Michal, die ich mir verlobt habe mit hundert Vorhäuten der Philister.(dhs) 2Sa 3:14 So David sent messengers to Ishbosheth, Saul's son, saying, "Give me my wife Michal, whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:15 ============ 2Sa 3:15 Ish-bosheth sent and took her from her husband, from Paltiel the son of Laish.(nas) 2Sa 3:15 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μεμφιβοσθε καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν παρὰ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς παρὰ Φαλτιηλ υἱοῦ Σελλης (lxx) 2Sa 3:15 Misit ergo Isboseth, et tulit eam a viro suo Phaltiel filio Lais.(vulgate) 15 ׃3 וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ אִ֣ישׁ בֹּ֔שֶׁת וַיִּקָּחֶ֖הָ מֵ֣עִֽם אִ֑ישׁ מֵעִ֖ם פַּלְטִיאֵ֥ל בֶּן־*לוש **לָֽיִשׁ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:15 Is-Boseth sandte hin und ließ sie nehmen von dem Mann Paltiel, dem Sohn des Lais.(dhs) 2Sa 3:15 And Ishbosheth sent and took her from her husband, from Paltiel the son of Laish.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:16 ============ 2Sa 3:16 But her husband went with her, weeping as he went, and followed her as far as Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, "Go, return." So he returned.(nas) 2Sa 3:16 καὶ ἐπορεύετο ὁ ἀνὴρ αὐτῆς μετ᾽ αὐτῆς κλαίων ὀπίσω αὐτῆς ἕως Βαρακιμ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Αβεννηρ πορεύου ἀνάστρεφε καὶ ἀνέστρεψεν (lxx) 2Sa 3:16 Sequebaturque eam vir suus, plorans usque Bahurim: et dixit ad eum Abner: Vade, et revertere. Qui reversus est.(vulgate) 16 ׃3 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ אִתָּ֜הּ אִישָׁ֗הּ הָל֧וֹךְ וּבָכֹ֛ה אַחֲרֶ֖יהָ עַד־בַּֽחֻרִ֑ים וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֥יו אַבְנֵ֛ר לֵ֥ךְ שׁ֖וּב וַיָּשֹֽׁב׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:16 Und ihr Mann ging mit ihr und weinte hinter ihr bis gen Bahurim. And he returned.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:17 ============ 2Sa 3:17 Now Abner had consultation with the elders of Israel, saying, "In times past you were seeking for David to be king over you.(nas) 2Sa 3:17 καὶ εἶπεν Αβεννηρ πρὸς τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους Ισραηλ λέγων ἐχθὲς καὶ τρίτην ἐζητεῖτε τὸν Δαυιδ βασιλεύειν ἐφ᾽ ὑμῶν (lxx) 2Sa 3:17 Sermonem quoque intulit Abner ad seniores Israël, dicens: Tam heri quam nudiustertius quærebatis David ut regnaret super vos.(vulgate) 17 ׃3 וּדְבַר־אַבְנֵ֣ר הָיָ֔ה עִם־זִקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר גַּם־תְּמוֹל֙ גַּם־שִׁלְשֹׁ֔ם הֱיִיתֶ֞ם מְבַקְשִׁ֧ים אֶת־דָּוִ֛ד לְמֶ֖לֶךְ עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:17 Und Abner hatte eine Rede mit den Ältesten in Israel und sprach: Ihr habt schon längst nach David getrachtet, daß er König wäre über euch.(dhs) 2Sa 3:17 Now Abner had communicated with the elders of Israel, saying, "In time past you were seeking for David to be king over you.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:18 ============ 2Sa 3:18 Now then, do it! For the Lord has spoken of David, saying, 'By the hand of My servant David I will save My people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies.'"(nas) 2Sa 3:18 καὶ νῦν ποιήσατε ὅτι κύριος ἐλάλησεν περὶ Δαυιδ λέγων ἐν χειρὶ τοῦ δούλου μου Δαυιδ σώσω τὸν Ισραηλ ἐκ χειρὸς ἀλλοφύλων καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) 2Sa 3:18 Nunc ergo facite: quoniam Dominus locutus est ad David, dicens: In manu servi mei David salvabo populum meum Israël de manu Philisthiim, et omnium inimicorum ejus.(vulgate) 18 ׃3 וְעַתָּ֖ה עֲשׂ֑וּ כִּ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אָמַ֤ר אֶל־דָּוִד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בְּיַ֣ד ׀ דָּוִ֣ד עַבְדִּ֗י הוֹשִׁ֜יעַ אֶת־עַמִּ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִיַּ֣ד פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וּמִיַּ֖ד כָּל־אֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:18 So tut's nun; denn der HERR hat von David gesagt: Ich will mein Volk Israel erretten durch die Hand Davids, meines Knechtes, von der Philister Hand und aller seiner Feinde Hand.(dhs) 2Sa 3:18 Now then, do it! "(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:19 ============ 2Sa 3:19 Abner also spoke in the hearing of Benjamin; and in addition Abner went to speak in the hearing of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel and to the whole house of Benjamin.(nas) 2Sa 3:19 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Αβεννηρ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐπορεύθη Αβεννηρ τοῦ λαλῆσαι εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ Δαυιδ εἰς Χεβρων πάντα ὅσα ἤρεσεν ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς παντὸς οἴκου Βενιαμιν (lxx) 2Sa 3:19 Locutus est autem Abner etiam ad Benjamin. Et abiit ut loqueretur ad David in Hebron omnia quæ placuerant Israëli et universo Benjamin.(vulgate) 19 ׃3 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר גַּם־אַבְנֵ֖ר בְּאָזְנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ין וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ גַּם־אַבְנֵ֗ר לְדַבֵּ֞ר בְּאָזְנֵ֤י דָוִד֙ בְּחֶבְר֔וֹן אֵ֤ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־טוֹב֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּבְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־בֵּ֥ית בִּנְיָמִֽן׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:19 Auch redete Abner vor den Ohren Benjamins und ging auch hin, zu reden vor den Ohren Davids zu Hebron alles, was Israel und dem ganzen Hause Benjamin wohl gefiel.(dhs) 2Sa 3:19 And Abner also spoke in the hearing of Benjamin. And David made a feast for Abner and the men who were with him.(nas) 2Sa 3:20 καὶ ἦλθεν Αβεννηρ πρὸς Δαυιδ εἰς Χεβρων καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἴκοσι ἄνδρες καὶ ἐποίησεν Δαυιδ τῷ Αβεννηρ καὶ τοῖς ἀνδράσιν τοῖς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ πότον (lxx) 2Sa 3:20 Venitque ad David in Hebron cum viginti viris: et fecit David Abner, et viris ejus qui venerant cum eo, convivium.(vulgate) 20 ׃3 וַיָּבֹ֨א אַבְנֵ֤ר אֶל־דָּוִד֙ חֶבְר֔וֹן וְאִתּ֖וֹ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֲנָשִׁ֑ים וַיַּ֨עַשׂ דָּוִ֧ד לְאַבְנֵ֛ר וְלַאֲנָשִׁ֥ים אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֖וֹ מִשְׁתֶּֽה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:20 Da nun Abner gen Hebron zu David kam und mit ihm zwanzig Mann, machte ihnen David ein Mahl.(dhs) 2Sa 3:20 So Abner and twenty men with him came to David at Hebron. So David sent Abner away, and he went in peace.(nas) 2Sa 3:21 καὶ εἶπεν Αβεννηρ πρὸς Δαυιδ ἀναστήσομαι δὴ καὶ πορεύσομαι καὶ συναθροίσω πρὸς κύριόν μου τὸν βασιλέα πάντα Ισραηλ καὶ διαθήσομαι μετὰ σοῦ διαθήκην καὶ βασιλεύσεις ἐπὶ πᾶσιν οἷς ἐπιθυμεῖ ἡ ψυχή σου καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Δαυιδ τὸν Αβεννηρ καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἐν εἰρήνῃ (lxx) 2Sa 3:21 Et dixit Abner ad David: Surgam, ut congregem ad te dominum meum regem omnem Israël, et ineam tecum fœdus, et imperes omnibus, sicut desiderat anima tua. Cum ergo deduxisset David Abner, et ille isset in pace,(vulgate) 21 ׃3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אַבְנֵ֣ר אֶל־דָּוִ֡ד אָק֣וּמָה ׀ וְֽאֵלֵ֡כָה וְאֶקְבְּצָה֩ אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֨י הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְיִכְרְת֤וּ אִתְּךָ֙ בְּרִ֔ית וּמָ֣לַכְתָּ֔ בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־תְּאַוֶּ֖ה נַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ וַיְּשַׁלַּ֥ח דָּוִ֛ד אֶת־אַבְנֵ֖ר וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:21 Und Abner sprach zu David: Ich will mich aufmachen und hingehen, daß ich das ganze Israel zu meinem Herrn, dem König, sammle und daß sie einen Bund mit dir machen, auf daß du König seist, wie es deine Seele begehrt. Also ließ David Abner von sich, daß er hinginge mit Frieden.(dhs) 2Sa 3:21 Then Abner said to David, "I will arise and go, and gather all Israel to my lord the king, that they may make a covenant with you, and that you may reign over all that your heart desires." So David sent Abner away, and he went in peace.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:22 ============ 2Sa 3:22 And behold, the servants of David and Joab came from a raid and brought much spoil with them; but Abner was not with David in Hebron, for he had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.(nas) 2Sa 3:22 καὶ ἰδοὺ οἱ παῖδες Δαυιδ καὶ Ιωαβ παρεγίνοντο ἐκ τῆς ἐξοδίας καὶ σκῦλα πολλὰ ἔφερον μετ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ Αβεννηρ οὐκ ἦν μετὰ Δαυιδ εἰς Χεβρων ὅτι ἀπεστάλκει αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπεληλύθει ἐν εἰρήνῃ (lxx) 2Sa 3:22 statim pueri David et Joab venerunt, cæsis latronibus, cum præda magna nimis: Abner autem non erat cum David in Hebron, quia jam dimiserat eum, et profectus fuerat in pace.(vulgate) 22 ׃3 וְהִנֵּה֩ עַבְדֵ֨י דָוִ֤ד וְיוֹאָב֙ בָּ֣א מֵֽהַגְּד֔וּד וְשָׁלָ֥ל רָ֖ב עִמָּ֣ם הֵבִ֑יאוּ וְאַבְנֵ֗ר אֵינֶ֤נּוּ עִם־דָּוִד֙ בְּחֶבְר֔וֹן כִּ֥י שִׁלְּח֖וֹ וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:22 Und siehe, die Knechte Davids und Joab kamen von einem Streifzuge und brachten mit sich große Beute. Abner aber war nicht mehr bei David zu Hebron, sondern er hatte ihn von sich gelassen, daß er mit Frieden weggegangen war.(dhs) 2Sa 3:22 At that moment the servants of David and Joab came from a raid and brought much spoil with them. But Abner was not with David in Hebron, for he had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:23 ============ 2Sa 3:23 When Joab and all the army that was with him arrived, they told Joab, saying, "Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he has gone in peace."(nas) 2Sa 3:23 καὶ Ιωαβ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ στρατιὰ αὐτοῦ ἤχθησαν καὶ ἀπηγγέλη τῷ Ιωαβ λέγοντες ἥκει Αβεννηρ υἱὸς Νηρ πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ ἀπέσταλκεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἐν εἰρήνῃ (lxx) 2Sa 3:23 Et Joab, et omnis exercitus qui erat cum eo, postea venerunt: nuntiatum est itaque Joab a narrantibus: Venit Abner filius Ner ad regem, et dimisit eum, et abiit in pace.~(vulgate) 23 ׃3 וְיוֹאָ֛ב וְכָל־הַצָּבָ֥א אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֖וֹ בָּ֑אוּ וַיַּגִּ֤דוּ לְיוֹאָב֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בָּֽא־אַבְנֵ֤ר בֶּן־נֵר֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֵ֖הוּ וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:23 Da aber Joab und das ganze Heer mit ihm war gekommen, ward ihm angesagt, daß Abner, der Sohn Ners, zum König gekommen war und hatte er ihn von sich gelassen, daß er mit Frieden war weggegangen.(dhs) 2Sa 3:23 When Joab and all the troops that were with him had come, they told Joab, saying, "Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he sent him away, and he has gone in peace."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:24 ============ 2Sa 3:24 Then Joab came to the king and said, "What have you done? Behold, Abner came to you; why then have you sent him away and he is already gone?(nas) 2Sa 3:24 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Ιωαβ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα καὶ εἶπεν τί τοῦτο ἐποίησας ἰδοὺ ἦλθεν Αβεννηρ πρὸς σέ καὶ ἵνα τί ἐξαπέσταλκας αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπελήλυθεν ἐν εἰρήνῃ (lxx) 2Sa 3:24 Et ingressus est Joab ad regem, et ait: Quid fecisti? Ecce venit Abner ad te: quare dimisisti eum, et abiit et recessit?(vulgate) 24 ׃3 וַיָּבֹ֤א יוֹאָב֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר מֶ֣ה עָשִׂ֑יתָה הִנֵּה־בָ֤א אַבְנֵר֙ אֵלֶ֔יךָ לָמָּה־זֶּ֥ה שִׁלַּחְתּ֖וֹ וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ הָלֽוֹךְ׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:24 Da ging Joab zum König hinein und sprach: Was hast du getan? Siehe, Abner ist zu dir gekommen; warum hast du ihn von dir gelassen, daß er ist weggegangen?(dhs) 2Sa 3:24 Then Joab came to the king and said, "What have you done? Look, Abner came to you; why is it that you sent him away, and he has already gone?(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:25 ============ 2Sa 3:25 You know Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive you and to learn of your going out and coming in and to find out all that you are doing."(nas) 2Sa 3:25 ἦ οὐκ οἶδας τὴν κακίαν Αβεννηρ υἱοῦ Νηρ ὅτι ἀπατῆσαί σε παρεγένετο καὶ γνῶναι τὴν ἔξοδόν σου καὶ τὴν εἴσοδόν σου καὶ γνῶναι ἅπαντα ὅσα σὺ ποιεῖς (lxx) 2Sa 3:25 ignoras Abner filium Ner, quoniam ad hoc venit ad te ut deciperet te, et sciret exitum tuum et introitum tuum, et nosset omnia quæ agis?(vulgate) 25 ׃3 יָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ אֶת־אַבְנֵ֣ר בֶּן־נֵ֔ר כִּ֥י לְפַתֹּתְךָ֖ בָּ֑א וְלָדַ֜עַת אֶת־מוֹצָֽאֲךָ֙ וְאֶת־*מבואך **מ֣וֹבָאֶ֔ךָ וְלָדַ֕עַת אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתָּ֖ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:25 Kennst du Abner, den Sohn Ners, nicht? Denn er ist gekommen, dich zu überreden, daß er erkennt deinen Ausgang und Eingang und erführe alles, was du tust.(dhs) 2Sa 3:25 Surely you realize that Abner the son of Ner came to deceive you, to know your going out and your coming in, and to know all that you are doing."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 3:26 ============ 2Sa 3:26 When Joab came out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, and they brought him back from the well of Sirah; but David did not know it.(nas) 2Sa 3:26 καὶ ἀνέστρεψεν Ιωαβ ἀπὸ τοῦ Δαυιδ καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους ὀπίσω Αβεννηρ καὶ ἐπιστρέφουσιν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ τοῦ φρέατος τοῦ Σεϊραμ καὶ Δαυιδ οὐκ ᾔδει (lxx) 2Sa 3:26 Egressus itaque Joab a David, misit nuntios post Abner, et reduxit eum a cisterna Sira, ignorante David.(vulgate) 26 ׃3 וַיֵּצֵ֤א יוֹאָב֙ מֵעִ֣ם דָּוִ֔ד וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח מַלְאָכִים֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י אַבְנֵ֔ר וַיָּשִׁ֥בוּ אֹת֖וֹ מִבּ֣וֹר הַסִּרָ֑ה וְדָוִ֖ד לֹ֥א יָדָֽע׃ Samuel2 2Sa 3:26 Und da Joab von David ausging, sandte er Boten Abner nach, daß sie ihn wiederum holten von Bor-Hassira; und David wußte nichts darum.(dhs) 2Sa 3:26 And when Joab had gone from David's presence, he sent messengers after Abner, who brought him back from the well of Sirah.
