The length in cubits, according to the old standard was sixty cubits, and the width twenty cubits.(nas) 2Ch 3:3 καὶ ταῦτα ἤρξατο Σαλωμων τοῦ οἰκοδομῆσαι τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ μῆκος πήχεων ἡ διαμέτρησις ἡ πρώτη πήχεων ἑξήκοντα καὶ εὖρος πήχεων εἴκοσι (lxx) 2Ch 3:3 Et hæc sunt fundamenta quæ jecit Salomon, ut ædificaret domum Dei: longitudinis cubitos in mensura prima sexaginta, latitudinis cubitos viginti.(vulgate) 3 ׃3 וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ הוּסַ֣ד שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה לִבְנ֖וֹת אֶת־בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים הָאֹ֡רֶךְ אַמּ֞וֹת בַּמִּדָּ֤ה הָרִֽאשׁוֹנָה֙ אַמּ֣וֹת שִׁשִּׁ֔ים וְרֹ֖חַב אַמּ֥וֹת עֶשְׂרִֽים׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:3 Und also legte Salomo den Grund, zu bauen das Haus Gottes: die Länge sechzig Ellen nach altem Maß, die Weite zwanzig Ellen.(dhs) 2Ch 3:3 This is the foundation which Solomon laid for building the house of God: The length was sixty cubits (by cubits according to the former measure) and the width twenty cubits.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:4 ============ 2Ch 3:4 The porch which was in front of the house was as long as the width of the house, twenty cubits, and the height 120; and inside he overlaid it with pure gold.(nas) 2Ch 3:4 καὶ αιλαμ κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ οἴκου μῆκος ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πλάτους τοῦ οἴκου πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ ὕψος πήχεων ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν αὐτὸν ἔσωθεν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ (lxx) 2Ch 3:4 Porticum vero ante frontem, quæ tendebatur in longum juxta mensuram latitudinis domus, cubitorum viginti: porro altitudo centum viginti cubitorum erat: et deauravit eam intrinsecus auro mundissimo.(vulgate) 4 ׃3 וְהָאוּלָ֡ם אֲשֶׁר֩ עַל־פְּנֵ֨י הָאֹ֜רֶךְ עַל־פְּנֵ֤י רֹֽחַב־הַבַּ֙יִת֙ אַמּ֣וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֔ים וְהַגֹּ֖בַהּ מֵאָ֣ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֑ים וַיְצַפֵּ֥הוּ מִפְּנִ֖ימָה זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:4 Und die Halle vor der Weite des Hauses her war zwanzig Ellen lang, die Höhe aber war hundertzwanzig Ellen; und er überzog sie inwendig mit lauterem Golde.(dhs) 2Ch 3:4 And the vestibule that was in front of the sanctuary was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the height was one hundred and twenty. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:5 ============ 2Ch 3:5 He overlaid the main room with cypress wood and overlaid it with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.(nas) 2Ch 3:5 καὶ τὸν οἶκον τὸν μέγαν ἐξύλωσεν ξύλοις κεδρίνοις καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ καὶ ἔγλυψεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ φοίνικας καὶ χαλαστά (lxx) 2Ch 3:5 Domum quoque majorem texit tabulis ligneis abiegnis, et laminas auri obrizi affixit per totum: sculpsitque in ea palmas, et quasi catenulas se invicem complectentes.(vulgate) 5 ׃3 וְאֵ֣ת ׀ הַבַּ֣יִת הַגָּד֗וֹל חִפָּה֙ עֵ֣ץ בְּרוֹשִׁ֔ים וַיְחַפֵּ֖הוּ זָהָ֣ב ט֑וֹב וַיַּ֧עַל עָלָ֛יו תִּמֹרִ֖ים וְשַׁרְשְׁרֽוֹת׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:5 Das große Haus aber täfelte er mit Tannenholz und überzog's mit dem besten Golde und machte darauf Palmen und Kettenwerk(dhs) 2Ch 3:5 The larger room he paneled with cypress which he overlaid with fine gold, and he carved palm trees and chainwork on it.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:6 ============ 2Ch 3:6 Further, he adorned the house with precious stones; and the gold was gold from Parvaim.(nas) 2Ch 3:6 καὶ ἐκόσμησεν τὸν οἶκον λίθοις τιμίοις εἰς δόξαν καὶ χρυσίῳ χρυσίου τοῦ ἐκ Φαρουαιμ (lxx) 2Ch 3:6 Stravit quoque pavimentum templi pretiosissimo marmore, decore multo.(vulgate) 6 ׃3 וַיְצַ֧ף אֶת־הַבַּ֛יִת אֶ֥בֶן יְקָרָ֖ה לְתִפְאָ֑רֶת וְהַזָּהָ֖ב זְהַ֥ב פַּרְוָֽיִם׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:6 und überzog das Haus mit edlen Steinen zum Schmuck; das Gold aber war Parwaim-Gold.(dhs) 2Ch 3:6 And he decorated the house with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was gold from Parvaim.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:7 ============ 2Ch 3:7 He also overlaid the house with gold--the beams, the thresholds and its walls and its doors; and he carved cherubim on the walls.(nas) 2Ch 3:7 καὶ ἐχρύσωσεν τὸν οἶκον καὶ τοὺς τοίχους καὶ τοὺς πυλῶνας καὶ τὰ ὀροφώματα καὶ τὰ θυρώματα χρυσίῳ καὶ ἔγλυψεν χερουβιν ἐπὶ τῶν τοίχων (lxx) 2Ch 3:7 Porro aurum erat probatissimum, de cujus laminis texit domum, et trabes ejus, et postes, et parietes, et ostia: et cælavit cherubim in parietibus.(vulgate) 7 ׃3 וַיְחַ֨ף אֶת־הַבַּ֜יִת הַקֹּר֧וֹת הַסִּפִּ֛ים וְקִֽירוֹתָ֥יו וְדַלְתוֹתָ֖יו זָהָ֑ב וּפִתַּ֥ח כְּרוּבִ֖ים עַל־הַקִּירֽוֹת׃ ס Chronicles2 2Ch 3:7 Und überzog das Haus, die Balken und die Schwellen samt seinen Wänden und Türen mit Gold und ließ Cherubim schnitzen an die Wände.(dhs) 2Ch 3:7 He also overlaid the house--the beams and doorposts, its walls and doors--with gold; and he carved cherubim on the walls.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:8 ============ 2Ch 3:8 Now he made the room of the holy of holies: its length across the width of the house was twenty cubits, and its width was twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to 600 talents.(nas) 2Ch 3:8 καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἁγίου τῶν ἁγίων μῆκος αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πλάτους πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ τὸ εὖρος πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν αὐτὸν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ εἰς χερουβιν εἰς τάλαντα ἑξακόσια (lxx) 2Ch 3:8 Fecit quoque domum Sancti sanctorum: longitudinem juxta latitudinem domus cubitorum viginti: et latitudinem similiter viginti cubitorum: et laminis aureis texit eam, quasi talentis sexcentis.(vulgate) 8 ׃3 וַיַּ֙עַשׂ֙ אֶת־בֵּֽית־קֹ֣דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֔ים אָרְכּ֞וֹ עַל־פְּנֵ֤י רֹֽחַב־הַבַּ֙יִת֙ אַמּ֣וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֔ים וְרָחְבּ֖וֹ אַמּ֣וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֑ים וַיְחַפֵּ֙הוּ֙ זָהָ֣ב ט֔וֹב לְכִכָּרִ֖ים שֵׁ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:8 Er machte auch das Haus des Allerheiligsten, des Länge war zwanzig Ellen nach der Weite des Hauses, und seine Weite war auch zwanzig Ellen, und überzog's mit dem besten Golde bei sechshundert Zentner.(dhs) 2Ch 3:8 And he made the Most Holy Place. Its length was according to the width of the house, twenty cubits, and its width twenty cubits. He overlaid it with six hundred talents of fine gold.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:9 ============ 2Ch 3:9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.(nas) 2Ch 3:9 καὶ ὁλκὴ τῶν ἥλων ὁλκὴ τοῦ ἑνὸς πεντήκοντα σίκλοι χρυσίου καὶ τὸ ὑπερῷον ἐχρύσωσεν χρυσίῳ (lxx) 2Ch 3:9 Sed et clavos fecit aureos, ita ut singuli clavi siclos quinquagenos appenderent: cœnacula quoque texit auro.(vulgate) 9 ׃3 וּמִשְׁקָ֛ל לְמִסְמְר֥וֹת לִשְׁקָלִ֖ים חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים זָהָ֑ב וְהָעֲלִיּ֖וֹת חִפָּ֥ה זָהָֽב׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:9 Und gab auch zu Nägeln fünfzig Lot Gold am Gewicht und überzog die Söller mit Gold.(dhs) 2Ch 3:9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold; and he overlaid the upper area with gold.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:10 ============ 2Ch 3:10 Then he made two sculptured cherubim in the room of the holy of holies and overlaid them with gold.(nas) 2Ch 3:10 καὶ ἐποίησεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τῷ ἁγίῳ τῶν ἁγίων χερουβιν δύο ἔργον ἐκ ξύλων καὶ ἐχρύσωσεν αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ (lxx) 2Ch 3:10 Fecit etiam in domo Sancti sanctorum cherubim duos, opere statuario: et texit eos auro.(vulgate) 10 ׃3 וַיַּ֜עַשׂ בְּבֵֽית־קֹ֤דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים֙ כְּרוּבִ֣ים שְׁנַ֔יִם מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה צַעֲצֻעִ֑ים וַיְצַפּ֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:10 Er machte auch im Hause des Allerheiligsten zwei Cherubim nach der Bildner Kunst und überzog sie mit Gold.(dhs) 2Ch 3:10 In the Most Holy Place he made two cherubim, fashioned by carving, and overlaid them with gold.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:11 ============ 2Ch 3:11 The wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits; the wing of one, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house, and its other wing, of five cubits, touched the wing of the other cherub.(nas) 2Ch 3:11 καὶ αἱ πτέρυγες τῶν χερουβιν τὸ μῆκος πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ ἡ πτέρυξ ἡ μία πήχεων πέντε ἁπτομένη τοῦ τοίχου τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἡ πτέρυξ ἡ ἑτέρα πήχεων πέντε ἁπτομένη τῆς πτέρυγος τοῦ χερουβ τοῦ ἑτέρου (lxx) 2Ch 3:11 Alæ cherubim viginti cubitis extendebantur, ita ut una ala haberet cubitos quinque et tangeret parietem domus: et altera quinque cubitos habens, alam tangeret alterius cherub.(vulgate) 11 ׃3 וְכַנְפֵי֙ הַכְּרוּבִ֔ים אָרְכָּ֖ם אַמּ֣וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֑ים כְּנַ֨ף הָאֶחָ֜ד לְאַמּ֣וֹת חָמֵ֗שׁ מַגַּ֙עַת֙ לְקִ֣יר הַבַּ֔יִת וְהַכָּנָ֤ף הָאַחֶ֙רֶת֙ אַמּ֣וֹת חָמֵ֔שׁ מַגִּ֕יעַ לִכְנַ֖ף הַכְּר֥וּב הָאַחֵֽר׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:11 Und die Länge der Flügel an den Cherubim war zwanzig Ellen, daß ein Flügel fünf Ellen hatte und rührte an die Wand des Hauses und der andere Flügel auch fünf Ellen hatte und rührte an den Flügel des andern Cherubs.(dhs) 2Ch 3:11 The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits in overall length: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub;(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:12 ============ 2Ch 3:12 The wing of the other cherub, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house; and its other wing of five cubits was attached to the wing of the first cherub.(nas) 2Ch 3:12 καὶ ἡ πτέρυξ τοῦ χερουβ τοῦ ἑνὸς πήχεων πέντε ἁπτομένη τοῦ τοίχου τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἡ πτέρυξ ἡ ἑτέρα πήχεων πέντε ἁπτομένη τοῦ πτέρυγος τοῦ χερουβ τοῦ ἑτέρου (lxx) 2Ch 3:12 Similiter cherub alterius ala, quinque habebat cubitos, et tangebat parietem: et ala ejus altera quinque cubitorum, alam cherub alterius contingebat.(vulgate) 12 ׃3 וּכְנַ֨ף הַכְּר֤וּב הָאֶחָד֙ אַמּ֣וֹת חָמֵ֔שׁ מַגִּ֖יעַ לְקִ֣יר הַבָּ֑יִת וְהַכָּנָ֤ף הָאַחֶ֙רֶת֙ אַמּ֣וֹת חָמֵ֔שׁ דְּבֵקָ֕ה לִכְנַ֖ף הַכְּר֥וּב הָאַחֵֽר׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 3:12 Also hatte auch der eine Flügel des andern Cherubs fünf Ellen und rührte an die Wand des Hauses und sein anderer Flügel auch fünf Ellen und rührte an den Flügel des andern Cherubs,(dhs) 2Ch 3:12 one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing also was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 3:13 ============ 2Ch 3:13 The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits, and they stood on their feet facing the main room.(nas) 2Ch 3:13 καὶ αἱ πτέρυγες τῶν χερουβιν διαπεπετασμέναι πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ αὐτὰ ἑστηκότα ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν οἶκον (lxx) 2Ch 3:13 Igitur alæ utriusque cherubim expansæ erant et extendebantur per cubitos viginti: ipsi autem stabant erectis pedibus, et facies eorum erant versæ ad exteriorem domum.(vulgate) 13 ׃3 כַּנְפֵי֙ הַכְּרוּבִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה פֹּֽרְשִׂ֖ים אַמּ֣וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֑ים וְהֵ֛ם עֹמְדִ֥ים עַל־רַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם וּפְנֵיהֶ֥ם לַבָּֽיִת׃ ס Chronicles2 2Ch 3:13 daß diese Flügel der Cherubim waren ausgebreitet zwanzig Ellen weit; und sie standen auf ihren Füßen, und ihr Antlitz war gewandt zum Hause hin.(dhs) 2Ch 3:13 The wings of these cherubim spanned twenty cubits overall.
