Where has your beloved turned, That we may seek him with you?"(nas) Sos 6:1 ποῦ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἀδελφιδός σου ἡ καλὴ ἐν γυναιξίν ποῦ ἀπέβλεψεν ὁ ἀδελφιδός σου καὶ ζητήσομεν αὐτὸν μετὰ σοῦ (lxx) Sos 6:1 1 ׃6 אָ֚נָה הָלַ֣ךְ דּוֹדֵ֔ךְ הַיָּפָ֖ה בַּנָּשִׁ֑ים אָ֚נָה פָּנָ֣ה דוֹדֵ֔ךְ וּנְבַקְשֶׁ֖נּוּ עִמָּֽךְ׃ Sos Sos 6:1 Wo ist denn dein Freund hin gegangen, o du schönste unter den Weibern? Wo hat sich dein Freund hin gewandt? So wollen wir mit dir ihn suchen.(dhs) Sos 6:1 The Daughters of Jerusalem Where has your beloved gone, O fairest among women? Where has your beloved turned aside, That we may seek him with you?(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:2 ============ Sos 6:2 "My beloved has gone down to his garden, To the beds of balsam, To pasture his flock in the gardens And gather lilies.(nas) Sos 6:2 ἀδελφιδός μου κατέβη εἰς κῆπον αὐτοῦ εἰς φιάλας τοῦ ἀρώματος ποιμαίνειν ἐν κήποις καὶ συλλέγειν κρίνα (lxx) Sos 6:2 [ 2 ׃6 דּוֹדִי֙ יָרַ֣ד לְגַנּ֔וֹ לַעֲרוּג֖וֹת הַבֹּ֑שֶׂם לִרְעוֹת֙ בַּגַּנִּ֔ים וְלִלְקֹ֖ט שֽׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃ Sos Sos 6:2 Mein Freund ist hinabgegangen in seinen Garten, zu den Würzgärtlein, daß er weide in den Gärten und Rosen breche.(dhs) Sos 6:2 The Shulamite My beloved has gone to his garden, To the beds of spices, To feed his flock in the gardens, And to gather lilies.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:3 ============ Sos 6:3 "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine, He who pastures his flock among the lilies."(nas) Sos 6:3 ἐγὼ τῷ ἀδελφιδῷ μου καὶ ἀδελφιδός μου ἐμοὶ ὁ ποιμαίνων ἐν τοῖς κρίνοις (lxx) Sos 6:3 Ego dilecto meo, et dilectus meus mihi, qui pascitur inter lilia.(vulgate) 3 ׃6 אֲנִ֤י לְדוֹדִי֙ וְדוֹדִ֣י לִ֔י הָרֹעֶ֖ה בַּשׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃ ס Sos Sos 6:3 Mein Freund ist mein, und ich bin sein, der unter den Rosen weidet.(dhs) Sos 6:3 I am my beloved's, And my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:4 ============ Sos 6:4 "You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, As lovely as Jerusalem, As awesome as an army with banners.(nas) Sos 6:4 καλὴ εἶ ἡ πλησίον μου ὡς εὐδοκία ὡραία ὡς Ιερουσαλημ θάμβος ὡς τεταγμέναι (lxx) Sos 6:4 4 ׃6 יָפָ֨ה אַ֤תְּ רַעְיָתִי֙ כְּתִרְצָ֔ה נָאוָ֖ה כִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם אֲיֻמָּ֖ה כַּנִּדְגָּלֽוֹת׃ Sos Sos 6:4 Du bist schön, meine Freundin, wie Thirza, lieblich wie Jerusalem, schrecklich wie Heerscharen.(dhs) Sos 6:4 The Beloved O my love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, Lovely as Jerusalem, Awesome as an army with banners!(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:5 ============ Sos 6:5 "Turn your eyes away from me, For they have confused me; Your hair is like a flock of goats That have descended from Gilead.(nas) Sos 6:5 ἀπόστρεψον ὀφθαλμούς σου ἀπεναντίον μου ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἀνεπτέρωσάν με τρίχωμά σου ὡς ἀγέλαι τῶν αἰγῶν αἳ ἀνεφάνησαν ἀπὸ τοῦ Γαλααδ (lxx) Sos 6:5 Averte oculos tuos a me, quia ipsi me avolare fecerunt. Capilli tui sicut grex caprarum quæ apparuerunt de Galaad.(vulgate) 5 ׃6 הָסֵ֤בִּי עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ מִנֶּגְדִּ֔י שֶׁ֥הֵ֖ם הִרְהִיבֻ֑נִי שַׂעְרֵךְ֙ כְּעֵ֣דֶר הָֽעִזִּ֔ים שֶׁגָּלְשׁ֖וּ מִן־הַגִּלְעָֽד׃ Sos Sos 6:5 Wende deine Augen von mir; denn sie verwirren mich. Deine Haare sind wie eine Herde Ziegen, die am Berge Gilead herab gelagert sind.(dhs) Sos 6:5 Turn your eyes away from me, For they have overcome me. Your hair is like a flock of goats Going down from Gilead.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:6 ============ Sos 6:6 "Your teeth are like a flock of ewes Which have come up from their washing, All of which bear twins, And not one among them has lost her young.(nas) Sos 6:6 ὀδόντες σου ὡς ἀγέλαι τῶν κεκαρμένων αἳ ἀνέβησαν ἀπὸ τοῦ λουτροῦ αἱ πᾶσαι διδυμεύουσαι καὶ ἀτεκνοῦσα οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐταῖς (lxx) Sos 6:6 Dentes tui sicut grex ovium quæ ascenderunt de lavacro: omnes gemellis fœtibus, et sterilis non est in eis.(vulgate) 6 ׃6 שִׁנַּ֙יִךְ֙ כְּעֵ֣דֶר הֽ͏ָרְחֵלִ֔ים שֶׁעָל֖וּ מִן־הָרַחְצָ֑ה שֶׁכֻּלָּם֙ מַתְאִימ֔וֹת וְשַׁכֻּלָ֖ה אֵ֥ין בָּהֶֽם׃ Sos Sos 6:6 Deine Zähne sind wie eine Herde Schafe, die aus der Schwemme kommen, die allzumal Zwillinge haben, und es fehlt keiner unter ihnen.(dhs) Sos 6:6 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep Which have come up from the washing; Every one bears twins, And none is barren among them.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:7 ============ Sos 6:7 "Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate Behind your veil.(nas) Sos 6:7 ὡς σπαρτίον τὸ κόκκινον χείλη σου καὶ ἡ λαλιά σου ὡραία ὡς λέπυρον τῆς ῥόας μῆλόν σου ἐκτὸς τῆς σιωπήσεώς σου (lxx) Sos 6:7 Sicut cortex mali punici, sic genæ tuæ, absque occultis tuis.(vulgate) 7 ׃6 כְּפֶ֤לַח הָרִמּוֹן֙ רַקָּתֵ֔ךְ מִבַּ֖עַד לְצַמָּתֵֽךְ׃ Sos Sos 6:7 Deine Wangen sind wie ein Ritz am Granatapfel zwischen deinen Zöpfen.(dhs) Sos 6:7 Like a piece of pomegranate Are your temples behind your veil.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:8 ============ Sos 6:8 "There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, And maidens without number;(nas) Sos 6:8 ἑξήκοντά εἰσιν βασίλισσαι καὶ ὀγδοήκοντα παλλακαί καὶ νεάνιδες ὧν οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός (lxx) Sos 6:8 Sexaginta sunt reginæ, et octoginta concubinæ, et adolescentularum non est numerus.(vulgate) 8 ׃6 שִׁשִּׁ֥ים הֵ֙מָּה֙ מְּ[c]לָכ֔וֹת וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים פִּֽילַגְשִׁ֑ים וַעֲלָמ֖וֹת אֵ֥ין מִסְפָּֽר׃ Sos Sos 6:8 Sechzig sind der Königinnen und achtzig der Kebsweiber, und der Jungfrauen ist keine Zahl.(dhs) Sos 6:8 There are sixty queens And eighty concubines, And virgins without number.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:9 ============ Sos 6:9 But my dove, my perfect one, is unique: She is her mother's only daughter; She is the pure child of the one who bore her. The maidens saw her and called her blessed, The queens and the concubines also, and they praised her, saying,(nas) Sos 6:9 μία ἐστὶν περιστερά μου τελεία μου μία ἐστὶν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτῆς ἐκλεκτή ἐστιν τῇ τεκούσῃ αὐτῆς εἴδοσαν αὐτὴν θυγατέρες καὶ μακαριοῦσιν αὐτήν βασίλισσαι καὶ παλλακαὶ καὶ αἰνέσουσιν αὐτήν (lxx) Sos 6:9 Una est columba mea, perfecta mea, una est matris suæ, electa genetrici suæ. Viderunt eam filiæ, et beatissimam prædicaverunt; reginæ et concubinæ, et laudaverunt eam.(vulgate) 9 ׃6 אַחַ֥ת הִיא֙ יוֹנָתִ֣י תַמָּתִ֔י אַחַ֥ת הִיא֙ לְאִמָּ֔הּ בָּרָ֥ה הִ֖יא לְיֽוֹלַדְתָּ֑הּ רָא֤וּהָ בָנוֹת֙ וַֽיְאַשְּׁר֔וּהָ מְלָכ֥וֹת וּפִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים וַֽיְהַלְלֽוּהָ׃ ס Sos Sos 6:9 Aber eine ist meine Taube, meine Fromme, eine ist ihrer Mutter die Liebste und die Auserwählte ihrer Mutter. Da sie die Töchter sahen, priesen sie dieselbe selig; die Königinnen und Kebsweiber lobten sie.(dhs) Sos 6:9 My dove, my perfect one, Is the only one, The only one of her mother, The favorite of the one who bore her. The daughters saw her And called her blessed, The queens and the concubines, And they praised her.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:10 ============ Sos 6:10 'Who is this that grows like the dawn, As beautiful as the full moon, As pure as the sun, As awesome as an army with banners?'(nas) Sos 6:10 τίς αὕτη ἡ ἐκκύπτουσα ὡσεὶ ὄρθρος καλὴ ὡς σελήνη ἐκλεκτὴ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος θάμβος ὡς τεταγμέναι (lxx) Sos 6:10 Quæ est ista quæ progreditur quasi aurora consurgens, pulchra ut luna, electa ut sol, terribilis ut castrorum acies ordinata?(vulgate) 10 ׃6 מִי־זֹ֥את הַנִּשְׁקָפָ֖ה כְּמוֹ־שָׁ֑חַר יָפָ֣ה כַלְּבָנָ֗ה בָּרָה֙ כַּֽחַמָּ֔ה אֲיֻמָּ֖ה כַּנִּדְגָּלֽוֹת׃ ס Sos Sos 6:10 Wer ist, die hervorbricht wie die Morgenröte, schön wie der Mond, auserwählt wie die Sonne, schrecklich wie Heerscharen?(dhs) Sos 6:10 Who is she who looks forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Awesome as an army with banners?(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:11 ============ Sos 6:11 "I went down to the orchard of nut trees To see the blossoms of the valley, To see whether the vine had budded Or the pomegranates had bloomed.(nas) Sos 6:11 εἰς κῆπον καρύας κατέβην ἰδεῖν ἐν γενήμασιν τοῦ χειμάρρου ἰδεῖν εἰ ἤνθησεν ἡ ἄμπελος ἐξήνθησαν αἱ ῥόαι ἐκεῖ δώσω τοὺς μαστούς μου σοί (lxx) Sos 6:11 11 ׃6 אֶל־גִּנַּ֤ת אֱגוֹז֙ יָרַ֔דְתִּי לִרְא֖וֹת בְּאִבֵּ֣י הַנָּ֑חַל לִרְאוֹת֙ הֲפָֽרְחָ֣ה הַגֶּ֔פֶן הֵנֵ֖צוּ הָרִמֹּנִֽים׃ Sos Sos 6:11 Ich bin hinab in den Nußgarten gegangen, zu schauen die Sträuchlein am Bach, zu schauen, ob die Granatbäume blühten.(dhs) Sos 6:11 The Shulamite I went down to the garden of nuts To see the verdure of the valley, To see whether the vine had budded And the pomegranates had bloomed.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:12 ============ Sos 6:12 "Before I was aware, my soul set me Over the chariots of my noble people."(nas) Sos 6:12 οὐκ ἔγνω ἡ ψυχή μου ἔθετό με ἅρματα Αμιναδαβ (lxx) Sos 6:12 Nescivi: anima mea conturbavit me, propter quadrigas Aminadab.(vulgate) 12 ׃6 לֹ֣א יָדַ֔עְתִּי נַפְשִׁ֣י שָׂמַ֔תְנִי מַרְכְּב֖וֹת עַמִּי־נָדִֽיב׃ Sos Sos 6:12 Ich wußte nicht, daß meine Seele mich gesetzt hatte zu den Wagen Ammi-Nadibs.(dhs) Sos 6:12 Before I was even aware, My soul had made me As the chariots of my noble people.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 6:13 ============ Sos 6:13 "Come back, come back, O Shulammite; Come back, come back, that we may gaze at you!" "Why should you gaze at the Shulammite, As at the dance of the two companies?(nas) Sos 6:13 ἐπίστρεφε ἐπίστρεφε ἡ Σουλαμῖτις ἐπίστρεφε ἐπίστρεφε καὶ ὀψόμεθα ἐν σοί τί ὄψεσθε ἐν τῇ Σουλαμίτιδι ἡ ἐρχομένη ὡς χοροὶ τῶν παρεμβολῶν (lxx) Sos 6:13 1 ׃7 שׁ֤וּבִי שׁ֙וּבִי֙ הַשּׁ֣וּלַמִּ֔ית שׁ֥וּבִי שׁ֖וּבִי וְנֶחֱזֶה־בָּ֑ךְ מַֽה־תֶּחֱזוּ֙ בַּשּׁ֣וּלַמִּ֔ית כִּמְחֹלַ֖ת הַֽמַּחֲנָֽיִם׃ Sos Sos 6:13 Kehre wieder, kehre wieder, o Sulamith! kehre wieder, kehre wieder, daß wir dich schauen! Was sehet ihr an Sulamith? Den Reigen zu Mahanaim.(dhs) Sos 6:13 The Beloved and His Friends Return, return, O Shulamite; Return, return, that we may look upon you!
