Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 10:1 ============ Eze 10:1 Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.(nas) Eze 10:1 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐπάνω τοῦ στερεώματος τοῦ ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς τῶν χερουβιν ὡς λίθος σαπφείρου ὁμοίωμα θρόνου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:1 Et vidi: et ecce in firmamento quod erat super caput cherubim, quasi lapis sapphirus, quasi species similitudinis solii, apparuit super ea.(vulgate) 1 ׃10 וָאֶרְאֶ֗ה וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֶל־הָרָקִ֙יעַ֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ הַכְּרֻבִ֔ים כְּאֶ֣בֶן סַפִּ֔יר כְּמַרְאֵ֖ה דְּמ֣וּת כִּסֵּ֑א נִרְאָ֖ה עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:1 Und ich sah, und siehe, an dem Himmel über dem Haupt der Cherubim war es gestaltet wie ein Saphir, und über ihnen war es gleich anzusehen wie ein Thron.(dhs) Eze 10:1 And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:2 ============ Eze 10:2 And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, "Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city." And he entered in my sight.(nas) Eze 10:2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὴν στολήν εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ μέσον τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τῶν χερουβιν καὶ πλῆσον τὰς δράκας σου ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἐκ μέσου τῶν χερουβιν καὶ διασκόρπισον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν καὶ εἰσῆλθεν ἐνώπιόν μου (lxx) Eze 10:2 Et dixit ad virum qui indutus erat lineis, et ait: Ingredere in medio rotarum quæ sunt subtus cherubim, et imple manum tuam prunis ignis quæ sunt inter cherubim, et effunde super civitatem. Ingressusque est in conspectu meo.(vulgate) 2 ׃10 וַיֹּ֜אמֶר אֶל־הָאִ֣ישׁ ׀ לְבֻ֣שׁ הַבַּדִּ֗ים וַיֹּ֡אמֶר בֹּא֩ אֶל־בֵּינ֨וֹת לַגַּלְגַּ֜ל אֶל־תַּ֣חַת לַכְּר֗וּב וּמַלֵּ֨א חָפְנֶ֤יךָ גַֽחֲלֵי־אֵשׁ֙ מִבֵּינ֣וֹת לַכְּרֻבִ֔ים וּזְרֹ֖ק עַל־הָעִ֑יר וַיָּבֹ֖א לְעֵינָֽי׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:2 Und er sprach zu dem Mann in der Leinwand: Gehe hin zwischen die Räder unter den Cherub und fasse die Hände voll glühender Kohlen, so zwischen den Cherubim sind, und streue sie über die Stadt. Und er ging hinein, daß ich's sah, da er hineinging.(dhs) Eze 10:2 Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city." And he went in as I watched.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:3 ============ Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.(nas) Eze 10:3 καὶ τὰ χερουβιν εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ οἴκου ἐν τῷ εἰσπορεύεσθαι τὸν ἄνδρα καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἔπλησεν τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἐσωτέραν (lxx) Eze 10:3 Cherubim autem stabant a dextris domus cum ingrederetur vir, et nubes implevit atrium interius.(vulgate) 3 ׃10 וְהַכְּרֻבִ֗ים עֹֽמְדִ֛ים מִימִ֥ין לַבַּ֖יִת בְּבֹא֣וֹ הָאִ֑ישׁ וְהֶעָנָ֣ן מָלֵ֔א אֶת־הֶחָצֵ֖ר הַפְּנִימִֽית׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:3 Die Cherubim aber standen zur Rechten am Hause, und die Wolke erfüllte den innern Vorhof.(dhs) Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:4 ============ Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord.(nas) Eze 10:4 καὶ ἀπῆρεν ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τῶν χερουβιν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἔπλησεν τὸν οἶκον ἡ νεφέλη καὶ ἡ αὐλὴ ἐπλήσθη τοῦ φέγγους τῆς δόξης κυρίου (lxx) Eze 10:4 Et elevata est gloria Domini desuper cherub ad limen domus: et repleta est domus nube, et atrium repletum est splendore gloriæ Domini.(vulgate) 4 ׃10 וַיָּ֤רָם כְּבוֹד־יְהוָה֙ מֵעַ֣ל הַכְּר֔וּב עַ֖ל מִפְתַּ֣ן הַבָּ֑יִת וַיִמָּלֵ֤א הַבַּ֙יִת֙ אֶת־הֶ֣עָנָ֔ן וְהֶֽחָצֵר֙ מָֽלְאָ֔ה אֶת־נֹ֖גַהּ כְּב֥וֹד יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:4 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erhob sich von dem Cherub zur Schwelle am Hause; und das Haus ward erfüllt mit der Wolke und der Vorhof voll Glanzes von der Herrlichkeit des HERRN.(dhs) Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:5 ============ Eze 10:5 Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.(nas) Eze 10:5 καὶ φωνὴ τῶν πτερύγων τῶν χερουβιν ἠκούετο ἕως τῆς αὐλῆς τῆς ἐξωτέρας ὡς φωνὴ θεοῦ Σαδδαι λαλοῦντος (lxx) Eze 10:5 Et sonitus alarum cherubim audiebatur usque ad atrium exterius, quasi vox Dei omnipotentis loquentis.(vulgate) 5 ׃10 וְקוֹל֙ כַּנְפֵ֣י הַכְּרוּבִ֔ים נִשְׁמַ֕ע עַד־הֶחָצֵ֖ר הַחִיצֹנָ֑ה כְּק֥וֹל אֵל־שַׁדַּ֖י בְּדַבְּרֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:5 Und man hörte die Flügel der Cherubim rauschen bis in den äußeren Vorhof wie eine mächtige Stimme des allmächtigen Gottes, wenn er redet.(dhs) Eze 10:5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:6 ============ Eze 10:6 It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stood beside a wheel.(nas) Eze 10:6 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐντέλλεσθαι αὐτὸν τῷ ἀνδρὶ τῷ ἐνδεδυκότι τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν λέγων λαβὲ πῦρ ἐκ μέσου τῶν τροχῶν ἐκ μέσου τῶν χερουβιν καὶ εἰσῆλθεν καὶ ἔστη ἐχόμενος τῶν τροχῶν (lxx) Eze 10:6 Cumque præcepisset viro qui indutus erat lineis, dicens: Sume ignem de medio rotarum quæ sunt inter cherubim: ingressus ille stetit juxta rotam.(vulgate) 6 ׃10 וַיְהִ֗י בְּצַוֺּתוֹ֙ אֶת־הָאִ֤ישׁ לְבֻֽשׁ־הַבַּדִּים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר קַ֥ח אֵשׁ֙ מִבֵּינ֣וֹת לַגַּלְגַּ֔ל מִבֵּינ֖וֹת לַכְּרוּבִ֑ים וַיָּבֹא֙ וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֔ד אֵ֖צֶל הָאוֹפָֽן׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:6 Und da er dem Mann in der Leinwand geboten hatte und gesagt: Nimm Feuer zwischen den Rädern unter den Cherubim! ging er hinein und trat neben das Rad.(dhs) Eze 10:6 Then it happened, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from among the wheels, from among the cherubim," that he went in and stood beside the wheels.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:7 ============ Eze 10:7 Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.(nas) Eze 10:7 καὶ ἐξέτεινεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ εἰς μέσον τοῦ πυρὸς τοῦ ὄντος ἐν μέσῳ τῶν χερουβιν καὶ ἔλαβεν καὶ ἔδωκεν εἰς τὰς χεῖρας τοῦ ἐνδεδυκότος τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ ἔλαβεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν (lxx) Eze 10:7 Et extendit cherub manum de medio cherubim ad ignem qui erat inter cherubim, et sumpsit, et dedit in manus ejus qui indutus erat lineis: qui accipiens egressus est.(vulgate) 7 ׃10 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ הַכְּר֨וּב אֶת־יָד֜וֹ מִבֵּינ֣וֹת לַכְּרוּבִ֗ים אֶל־הָאֵשׁ֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בֵּינ֣וֹת הַכְּרֻבִ֔ים וַיִּשָּׂא֙ וַיִּתֵּ֔ן אֶל־חָפְנֵ֖י לְבֻ֣שׁ הַבַּדִּ֑ים וַיִּקַּ֖ח וַיֵּצֵֽא׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:7 Und der Cherub streckte seine Hand heraus zwischen den Cherubim zum Feuer, das zwischen den Cherubim war, nahm davon und gab's dem Mann in der Leinwand in die Hände; der empfing's und ging hinaus.(dhs) Eze 10:7 And the cherub stretched out his hand from among the cherubim to the fire that was among the cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed with linen, who took it and went out.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:8 ============ Eze 10:8 The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.(nas) Eze 10:8 καὶ εἶδον τὰ χερουβιν ὁμοίωμα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπων ὑποκάτωθεν τῶν πτερύγων αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:8 Et apparuit in cherubim similitudo manus hominis subtus pennas eorum.~(vulgate) 8 ׃10 וַיֵּרָ֖א לַכְּרֻבִ֑ים תַּבְנִית֙ יַד־אָדָ֔ם תַּ֖חַת כַּנְפֵיהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:8 Und es erschien an den Cherubim gleichwie eines Menschen Hand unter ihren Flügeln.(dhs) Eze 10:8 The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:9 ============ Eze 10:9 Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.(nas) Eze 10:9 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ τροχοὶ τέσσαρες εἱστήκεισαν ἐχόμενοι τῶν χερουβιν τροχὸς εἷς ἐχόμενος χερουβ ἑνός καὶ ἡ ὄψις τῶν τροχῶν ὡς ὄψις λίθου ἄνθρακος (lxx) Eze 10:9 Et vidi: et ecce quatuor rotæ juxta cherubim: rota una juxta cherub unum, et rota alia juxta cherub unum: species autem rotarum erat quasi visio lapidis chrysolithi:(vulgate) 9 ׃10 וָאֶרְאֶ֗ה וְהִנֵּ֨ה אַרְבָּעָ֣ה אוֹפַנִּים֮ אֵ֣צֶל הַכְּרוּבִים֒ אוֹפַ֣ן אֶחָ֗ד אֵ֚צֶל הַכְּר֣וּב אֶחָ֔ד וְאוֹפַ֣ן אֶחָ֔ד אֵ֖צֶל הַכְּר֣וּב אֶחָ֑ד וּמַרְאֵה֙ הָא֣וֹפַנִּ֔ים כְּעֵ֖ין אֶ֥בֶן תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:9 Und ich sah, und siehe, vier Räder standen bei den Cherubim, bei einem jeglichen Cherub ein Rad; und die Räder waren anzusehen gleichwie ein Türkis(dhs) Eze 10:9 And when I looked, there were four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub and another wheel by each other cherub; the wheels appeared to have the color of a beryl stone.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:10 ============ Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.(nas) Eze 10:10 καὶ ἡ ὄψις αὐτῶν ὁμοίωμα ἓν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν ὃν τρόπον ὅταν ᾖ τροχὸς ἐν μέσῳ τροχοῦ (lxx) Eze 10:10 et aspectus earum similitudo una quatuor, quasi sit rota in medio rotæ.(vulgate) 10 ׃10 וּמַ֨רְאֵיהֶ֔ם דְּמ֥וּת אֶחָ֖ד לְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר יִהְיֶ֥ה הָאוֹפַ֖ן בְּת֥וֹךְ הָאוֹפָֽן׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:10 und waren alle vier eines wie das andere, als wäre ein Rad im andern.(dhs) Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four looked alike--as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:11 ============ Eze 10:11 When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.(nas) Eze 10:11 ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτὰ εἰς τὰ τέσσαρα μέρη αὐτῶν ἐπορεύοντο οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά ὅτι εἰς ὃν ἂν τόπον ἐπέβλεψεν ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ μία ἐπορεύοντο καὶ οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά (lxx) Eze 10:11 Cumque ambularent, in quatuor partes gradiebantur, et non revertebantur ambulantes: sed ad locum ad quem ire declinabat quæ prima erat, sequebantur et ceteræ, nec convertebantur.(vulgate) 11 ׃10 בְּלֶכְתָּ֗ם אֶל־אַרְבַּ֤עַת רִבְעֵיהֶם֙ יֵלֵ֔כוּ לֹ֥א יִסַּ֖בּוּ בְּלֶכְתָּ֑ם כִּ֣י הַמָּק֞וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִפְנֶ֤ה הָרֹאשׁ֙ אַחֲרָ֣יו יֵלֵ֔כוּ לֹ֥א יִסַּ֖בּוּ בְּלֶכְתָּֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:11 Wenn sie gehen sollten, so konnten sie nach allen vier Seiten gehen und mußten sich nicht herumlenken, wenn sie gingen; sondern wohin das erste ging, da gingen sie nach und mußten sich nicht herumlenken.(dhs) Eze 10:11 When they went, they went toward any of their four directions; they did not turn aside when they went, but followed in the direction the head was facing. They did not turn aside when they went.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:12 ============ Eze 10:12 Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.(nas) Eze 10:12 καὶ οἱ νῶτοι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ πτέρυγες αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ πλήρεις ὀφθαλμῶν κυκλόθεν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν τροχοῖς αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:12 Et omne corpus earum, et colla, et manus, et pennæ, et circuli, plena erant oculis in circuitu quatuor rotarum.(vulgate) 12 ׃10 וְכָל־בְּשָׂרָם֙ וְגַבֵּהֶ֔ם וִֽידֵיהֶ֖ם וְכַנְפֵיהֶ֑ם וְהָאֽוֹפַנִּ֗ים מְלֵאִ֤ים עֵינַ֙יִם֙ סָבִ֔יב לְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֖ם אוֹפַנֵּיהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:12 Und ihr ganzer Leib, Rücken, Hände und Flügel und die Räder waren voll Augen um und um; alle vier hatten ihre Räder.(dhs) Eze 10:12 And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were full of eyes all around.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:13 ============ Eze 10:13 The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.(nas) Eze 10:13 τοῖς δὲ τροχοῖς τούτοις ἐπεκλήθη Γελγελ ἀκούοντός μου (lxx) Eze 10:13 Et rotas istas vocavit volubiles, audiente me.(vulgate) 13 ׃10 לָא֖וֹפַנִּ֑ים לָהֶ֛ם קוֹרָ֥א הַגַּלְגַּ֖ל בְּאָזְנָֽי׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:13 Und die Räder wurden genannt "der Wirbel", daß ich's hörte.(dhs) Eze 10:13 As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, "Wheel."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:14 ============ Eze 10:14 And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.(nas) Eze 10:14 - - (lxx) Eze 10:14 Quatuor autem facies habebat unum: facies una, facies cherub, et facies secunda, facies hominis: et in tertio facies leonis, et in quarto facies aquilæ.(vulgate) 14 ׃10 וְאַרְבָּעָ֥ה פָנִ֖ים לְאֶחָ֑ד פְּנֵ֨י הָאֶחָ֜ד פְּנֵ֣י הַכְּר֗וּב וּפְנֵ֤י הַשֵּׁנִי֙ פְּנֵ֣י אָדָ֔ם וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁי֙ פְּנֵ֣י אַרְיֵ֔ה וְהָרְבִיעִ֖י פְּנֵי־נָֽשֶׁר׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:14 Ein jeglicher hatte vier Angesichter; das erste Angesicht war eines Cherubs, das andere eines Menschen, das dritte eines Löwen, das vierte eines Adlers.(dhs) Eze 10:14 Each one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, the second face the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:15 ============ Eze 10:15 Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar.(nas) Eze 10:15 καὶ ἦραν τὰ χερουβιν τοῦτο τὸ ζῷον ὃ εἶδον ἐπὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ Χοβαρ (lxx) Eze 10:15 Et elevata sunt cherubim: ipsum est animal quod videram juxta fluvium Chobar.(vulgate) 15 ׃10 וַיֵּרֹ֖מּוּ הַכְּרוּבִ֑ים הִ֣יא הַחַיָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָאִ֖יתִי בִּֽנְהַר־כְּבָֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:15 Und die Cherubim schwebten empor. Es ist eben das Tier, das ich sah am Wasser Chebar.(dhs) Eze 10:15 And the cherubim were lifted up. This was the living creature I saw by the River Chebar.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:16 ============ Eze 10:16 Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them.(nas) Eze 10:16 καὶ ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι τὰ χερουβιν ἐπορεύοντο οἱ τροχοί καὶ οὗτοι ἐχόμενοι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τῷ ἐξαίρειν τὰ χερουβιν τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν τοῦ μετεωρίζεσθαι ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον οἱ τροχοὶ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:16 Cumque ambularent cherubim, ibant pariter et rotæ juxta ea: et cum elevarent cherubim alas suas ut exaltarentur de terra, non residebant rotæ, sed et ipsæ juxta erant.(vulgate) 16 ׃10 וּבְלֶ֙כֶת֙ הַכְּרוּבִ֔ים יֵלְכ֥וּ הָאוֹפַנִּ֖ים אֶצְלָ֑ם וּבִשְׂאֵ֨ת הַכְּרוּבִ֜ים אֶת־כַּנְפֵיהֶ֗ם לָרוּם֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָאָ֔רֶץ לֹא־יִסַּ֧בּוּ הָאוֹפַנִּ֛ים גַּם־הֵ֖ם מֵאֶצְלָֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:16 Wenn die Cherubim gingen, so gingen die Räder auch neben ihnen; und wenn die Cherubim ihre Flügel schwangen, daß sie sich von der Erde erhoben, so lenkten sich die Räder auch nicht von Ihnen.(dhs) Eze 10:16 When the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also did not turn from beside them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:17 ============ Eze 10:17 When the cherubim stood still, the wheels would stand still; and when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them, for the spirit of the living beings was in them.(nas) Eze 10:17 ἐν τῷ ἑστάναι αὐτὰ εἱστήκεισαν καὶ ἐν τῷ μετεωρίζεσθαι αὐτὰ ἐμετεωρίζοντο μετ᾽ αὐτῶν διότι πνεῦμα ζωῆς ἐν αὐτοῖς ἦν (lxx) Eze 10:17 Stantibus illis stabant, et cum elevatis elevabantur: spiritus enim vitæ erat in eis.~(vulgate) 17 ׃10 בְּעָמְדָ֣ם יַעֲמֹ֔דוּ וּבְרוֹמָ֖ם יֵר֣וֹמּוּ אוֹתָ֑ם כִּ֛י ר֥וּחַ הַחַיָּ֖ה בָּהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:17 Wenn jene standen, so standen diese auch; erhoben sie sich, so erhoben sich diese auch; denn es war der Geist der Tiere in ihnen.(dhs) Eze 10:17 When the cherubim stood still, the wheels stood still, and when one was lifted up, the other lifted itself up, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:18 ============ Eze 10:18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.(nas) Eze 10:18 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἐπέβη ἐπὶ τὰ χερουβιν (lxx) Eze 10:18 Et egressa est gloria Domini a limine templi, et stetit super cherubim.(vulgate) 18 ׃10 וַיֵּצֵא֙ כְּב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה מֵעַ֖ל מִפְתַּ֣ן הַבָּ֑יִת וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד עַל־הַכְּרוּבִֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:18 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN ging wieder aus von der Schwelle am Hause des HERRN und stellt sich über die Cherubim.(dhs) Eze 10:18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:19 ============ Eze 10:19 When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord's house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.(nas) Eze 10:19 καὶ ἀνέλαβον τὰ χερουβιν τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμετεωρίσθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὰ καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῶν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα τῆς πύλης οἴκου κυρίου τῆς ἀπέναντι καὶ δόξα θεοῦ Ισραηλ ἦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν ὑπεράνω (lxx) Eze 10:19 Et elevantia cherubim alas suas, exaltata sunt a terra coram me: et illis egredientibus, rotæ quoque subsecutæ sunt: et stetit in introitu portæ domus Domini orientalis, et gloria Dei Israël erat super ea.(vulgate) 19 ׃10 וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ הַכְּרוּבִ֣ים אֶת־כַּ֠נְפֵיהֶם וַיֵּר֨וֹמּוּ מִן־הָאָ֤רֶץ לְעֵינַי֙ בְּצֵאתָ֔ם וְהָאֽוֹפַנִּ֖ים לְעֻמָּתָ֑ם וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֗ד פֶּ֣תַח שַׁ֤עַר בֵּית־יְהוָה֙ הַקַּדְמוֹנִ֔י וּכְב֧וֹד אֱלֹהֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:19 Da schwangen die Cherubim ihre Flügel und erhoben sich von der Erde vor meinen Augen; und da sie ausgingen, gingen die Räder neben ihnen. When they went out, the wheels were beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:20 ============ Eze 10:20 These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; so I knew that they were cherubim.(nas) Eze 10:20 τοῦτο τὸ ζῷόν ἐστιν ὃ εἶδον ὑποκάτω θεοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ Χοβαρ καὶ ἔγνων ὅτι χερουβιν ἐστίν (lxx) Eze 10:20 Ipsum est animal quod vidi subter Deum Israël juxta fluvium Chobar, et intellexi quia cherubim essent.(vulgate) 20 ׃10 הִ֣יא הַחַיָּ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָאִ֛יתִי תַּ֥חַת אֱלֹהֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בִּֽנְהַר־כְּבָ֑ר וָאֵדַ֕ע כִּ֥י כְרוּבִ֖ים הֵֽמָּה׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:20 Das ist das Tier, das ich unter dem Gott Israels sah am Wasser Chebar; und ich merkte, das es Cherubim wären,(dhs) Eze 10:20 This is the living creature I saw under the God of Israel by the River Chebar, and I knew they were cherubim.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:21 ============ Eze 10:21 Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands.(nas) Eze 10:21 τέσσαρα πρόσωπα τῷ ἑνί καὶ ὀκτὼ πτέρυγες τῷ ἑνί καὶ ὁμοίωμα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπου ὑποκάτωθεν τῶν πτερύγων αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 10:21 Quatuor vultus uni, et quatuor alæ uni: et similitudo manus hominis sub alis eorum.(vulgate) 21 ׃10 אַרְבָּעָ֨ה אַרְבָּעָ֤ה פָנִים֙ לְאֶחָ֔ד וְאַרְבַּ֥ע כְּנָפַ֖יִם לְאֶחָ֑ד וּדְמוּת֙ יְדֵ֣י אָדָ֔ם תַּ֖חַת כַּנְפֵיהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:21 da ein jegliches vier Angesichter hatte und vier Flügel und unter den Flügeln gleichwie Menschenhände.(dhs) Eze 10:21 Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:22 ============ Eze 10:22 As for the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces whose appearance I had seen by the river Chebar. Each one went straight ahead.(nas) Eze 10:22 καὶ ὁμοίωσις τῶν προσώπων αὐτῶν ταῦτα τὰ πρόσωπά ἐστιν ἃ εἶδον ὑποκάτω τῆς δόξης θεοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ Χοβαρ καὶ αὐτὰ ἕκαστον κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν ἐπορεύοντο (lxx) Eze 10:22 Et similitudo vultuum eorum, ipsi vultus quos videram juxta fluvium Chobar, et intuitus eorum, et impetus singulorum ante faciem suam ingredi.(vulgate) 22 ׃10 וּדְמ֣וּת פְּנֵיהֶ֔ם הֵ֣מָּה הַפָּנִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר רָאִ֙יתִי֙ עַל־נְהַר־כְּבָ֔ר מַרְאֵיהֶ֖ם וְאוֹתָ֑ם אִ֛ישׁ אֶל־עֵ֥בֶר פָּנָ֖יו יֵלֵֽכוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 10:22 Es waren ihre Angesichter gestaltet, wie ich sie am Wasser Chebar sah, und sie gingen stracks vor sich.(dhs) Eze 10:22 And the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the River Chebar, their appearance and their persons.
