Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 24:1 ============ Eze 24:1 And the word of the Lord came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying,(nas) Eze 24:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ ἐνάτῳ ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δεκάτῳ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς λέγων (lxx) Eze 24:1 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me in anno nono, in mense decimo, decima die mensis, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃24 וַיְהִי֩ דְבַר־יְהוָ֨ה אֵלַ֜י בַּשָּׁנָ֤ה הַתְּשִׁיעִית֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִ֔י בֶּעָשׂ֥וֹר לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:1 Und es geschah das Wort des HERRN zu mir im neunten Jahr, am zehnten Tage des zehnten Monats, und sprach:(dhs) Eze 24:1 Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:2 ============ Eze 24:2 "Son of man, write the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.(nas) Eze 24:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου γράψον σεαυτῷ εἰς ἡμέραν ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἀπηρείσατο βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας τῆς σήμερον (lxx) Eze 24:2 Fili hominis, scribe tibi nomen diei hujus, in qua confirmatus est rex Babylonis adversum Jerusalem hodie.(vulgate) 2 ׃24 בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם *כתוב־**כְּתָב־לְךָ֙ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם הַיּ֔וֹם אֶת־עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה סָמַ֤ךְ מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל֙ אֶל־יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם בְּעֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:2 Du Menschenkind, schreib diesen Tag an, ja, eben diesen Tag; denn der König zu Babel hat sich eben an diesem Tage wider Jerusalem gelagert.(dhs) Eze 24:2 "Son of man, write down the name of the day, this very day--the king of Babylon started his siege against Jerusalem this very day.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:3 ============ Eze 24:3 Speak a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water in it;(nas) Eze 24:3 καὶ εἰπὸν ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τὸν παραπικραίνοντα παραβολὴν καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπίστησον τὸν λέβητα καὶ ἔκχεον εἰς αὐτὸν ὕδωρ (lxx) Eze 24:3 Et dices per proverbium ad domum irritatricem parabolam, et loqueris ad eos: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Pone ollam; pone, inquam, et mitte in eam aquam.(vulgate) 3 ׃24 וּמְשֹׁ֤ל אֶל־בֵּית־הַמֶּ֙רִי֙ מָשָׁ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה שְׁפֹ֤ת הַסִּיר֙ שְׁפֹ֔ת וְגַם־יְצֹ֥ק בּ֖וֹ מָֽיִם׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:3 Und gib dem ungehorsamen Volk ein Gleichnis und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Setze einen Topf zu, setze zu und gieß Wasser hinein;(dhs) Eze 24:3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Put on a pot, set it on, And also pour water into it.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:4 ============ Eze 24:4 Put in it the pieces, Every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; Fill it with choice bones.(nas) Eze 24:4 καὶ ἔμβαλε εἰς αὐτὸν τὰ διχοτομήματα πᾶν διχοτόμημα καλόν σκέλος καὶ ὦμον ἐκσεσαρκισμένα ἀπὸ τῶν ὀστῶν (lxx) Eze 24:4 Congere frusta ejus in eam, omnem partem bonam, femur et armum, electa et ossibus plena.(vulgate) 4 ׃24 אֱסֹ֤ף נְתָחֶ֙יהָ֙ אֵלֶ֔יהָ כָּל־נֵ֥תַח ט֖וֹב יָרֵ֣ךְ וְכָתֵ֑ף מִבְחַ֥ר עֲצָמִ֖ים מַלֵּֽא׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:4 tue die Stücke zusammen darein, die hinein sollen, alle besten Stücke, die Lenden und Schultern, und fülle ihn mit den besten Knochenstücken;(dhs) Eze 24:4 Gather pieces of meat in it, Every good piece, The thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with choice cuts;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:5 ============ Eze 24:5 "Take the choicest of the flock, And also pile wood under the pot. Make it boil vigorously. Also seethe its bones in it."(nas) Eze 24:5 ἐξ ἐπιλέκτων κτηνῶν εἰλημμένων καὶ ὑπόκαιε τὰ ὀστᾶ ὑποκάτω αὐτῶν ἔζεσεν ἔζεσεν καὶ ἥψηται τὰ ὀστᾶ αὐτῆς ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) Eze 24:5 Pinguissimum pecus assume, compone quoque strues ossium sub ea: efferbuit coctio ejus, et discocta sunt ossa illius in medio ejus.(vulgate) 5 ׃24 מִבְחַ֤ר הַצֹּאן֙ לָק֔וֹחַ וְגַ֛ם דּ֥וּר הָעֲצָמִ֖ים תַּחְתֶּ֑יהָ רַתַּ֣ח רְתָחֶ֔יהָ גַּם־בָּשְׁל֥וּ עֲצָמֶ֖יהָ בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 24:5 nimm das Beste von der Herde und mache ein Feuer darunter, Knochenstücke zu kochen, und laß es getrost sieden und die Knochenstücke darin wohl kochen.(dhs) Eze 24:5 Take the choice of the flock. Also pile fuel bones under it, Make it boil well, And let the cuts simmer in it."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:6 ============ Eze 24:6 'Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the bloody city, To the pot in which there is rust And whose rust has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, Without making a choice.(nas) Eze 24:6 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ὦ πόλις αἱμάτων λέβης ἐν ᾧ ἐστιν ἰὸς ἐν αὐτῷ καὶ ὁ ἰὸς οὐκ ἐξῆλθεν ἐξ αὐτῆς κατὰ μέλος αὐτῆς ἐξήνεγκεν οὐκ ἔπεσεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν κλῆρος (lxx) Eze 24:6 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Væ civitati sanguinum, ollæ cujus rubigo in ea est, et rubigo ejus non exivit de ea! per partes et per partes suas ejice eam: non cecidit super eam sors.(vulgate) 6 ׃24 לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה אוֹי֮ עִ֣יר הַדָּמִים֒ סִ֚יר אֲשֶׁ֣ר חֶלְאָתָ֣ה בָ֔הּ וְחֶ֨לְאָתָ֔הּ לֹ֥א יָצְאָ֖ה מִמֶּ֑נָּה לִנְתָחֶ֤יהָ לִנְתָחֶ֙יהָ֙ הוֹצִיאָ֔הּ לֹא־נָפַ֥ל עָלֶ֖יהָ גּוֹרָֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:6 Darum spricht der HERR HERR: O der mörderischen Stadt, die ein solcher Topf ist, da der Rost daran klebt und nicht abgehen will! Tue ein Stück nach dem andern heraus; und du darfst nicht darum losen, welches zuerst heraus soll.(dhs) Eze 24:6 'Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Woe to the bloody city, To the pot whose scum is in it, And whose scum is not gone from it! Bring it out piece by piece, On which no lot has fallen.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:7 ============ Eze 24:7 "For her blood is in her midst; She placed it on the bare rock; She did not pour it on the ground To cover it with dust.(nas) Eze 24:7 ὅτι αἷμα αὐτῆς ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς ἐστιν ἐπὶ λεωπετρίαν τέταχα αὐτό οὐκ ἐκκέχυκα αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ καλύψαι ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ γῆν (lxx) Eze 24:7 Sanguis enim ejus in medio ejus est; super limpidissimam petram effudit illum: non effudit illum super terram, ut possit operiri pulvere.(vulgate) 7 ׃24 כִּ֤י דָמָהּ֙ בְּתוֹכָ֣הּ הָיָ֔ה עַל־צְחִ֥יחַ סֶ֖לַע שָׂמָ֑תְהוּ לֹ֤א שְׁפָכַ֙תְהוּ֙ עַל־הָאָ֔רֶץ לְכַסּ֥וֹת עָלָ֖יו עָפָֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:7 Denn ihr Blut ist darin, das sie auf einen bloßen Felsen und nicht auf die Erde verschüttet hat, da man's doch hätte mit Erde können zuscharren.(dhs) Eze 24:7 For her blood is in her midst; She set it on top of a rock; She did not pour it on the ground, To cover it with dust.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:8 ============ Eze 24:8 "That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on the bare rock, That it may not be covered."(nas) Eze 24:8 τοῦ ἀναβῆναι θυμὸν εἰς ἐκδίκησιν ἐκδικηθῆναι δέδωκα τὸ αἷμα αὐτῆς ἐπὶ λεωπετρίαν τοῦ μὴ καλύψαι αὐτό (lxx) Eze 24:8 Ut superinducerem indignationem meam, et vindicta ulciscerer, dedi sanguinem ejus super petram limpidissimam, ne operiretur.(vulgate) 8 ׃24 לְהַעֲל֤וֹת חֵמָה֙ לִנְקֹ֣ם נָקָ֔ם נָתַ֥תִּי אֶת־דָּמָ֖הּ עַל־צְחִ֣יחַ סָ֑לַע לְבִלְתִּ֖י הִכָּסֽוֹת׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 24:8 Und ich habe auch darum sie lassen das Blut auf einen bloßen Felsen schütten, daß es nicht zugescharrt würde, auf daß der Grimm über sie käme und es gerächt würde.(dhs) Eze 24:8 That it may raise up fury and take vengeance, I have set her blood on top of a rock, That it may not be covered."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:9 ============ Eze 24:9 'Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.(nas) Eze 24:9 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κἀγὼ μεγαλυνῶ τὸν δαλὸν (lxx) Eze 24:9 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Væ civitati sanguinum, cujus ego grandem faciam pyram!(vulgate) 9 ׃24 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה א֖וֹי עִ֣יר הַדָּמִ֑ים גַּם־אֲנִ֖י אַגְדִּ֥יל הַמְּדוּרָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:9 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: O du mörderische Stadt, welche ich will zu einem großen Feuer machen!(dhs) Eze 24:9 'Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Woe to the bloody city! I too will make the pyre great.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:10 ============ Eze 24:10 "Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, Boil the flesh well And mix in the spices, And let the bones be burned.(nas) Eze 24:10 καὶ πληθυνῶ τὰ ξύλα καὶ ἀνακαύσω τὸ πῦρ ὅπως τακῇ τὰ κρέα καὶ ἐλαττωθῇ ὁ ζωμὸς (lxx) Eze 24:10 Congere ossa, quæ igne succendam: consumentur carnes, et coquetur universa compositio, et ossa tabescent.(vulgate) 10 ׃24 הַרְבֵּ֤ה הָעֵצִים֙ הַדְלֵ֣ק הָאֵ֔שׁ הָתֵ֖ם הַבָּשָׂ֑ר וְהַרְקַח֙ הַמֶּרְקָחָ֔ה וְהָעֲצָמ֖וֹת יֵחָֽרוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:10 Trage nur viel Holz her, zünde das Feuer an, daß das Fleisch gar werde, und würze es wohl, und die Knochenstücke sollen anbrennen.(dhs) Eze 24:10 Heap on the wood, Kindle the fire; Cook the meat well, Mix in the spices, And let the cuts be burned up.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:11 ============ Eze 24:11 "Then set it empty on its coals So that it may be hot And its bronze may glow And its filthiness may be melted in it, Its rust consumed.(nas) Eze 24:11 καὶ στῇ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἄνθρακας ὅπως προσκαυθῇ καὶ θερμανθῇ ὁ χαλκὸς αὐτῆς καὶ τακῇ ἐν μέσῳ ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτῆς καὶ ἐκλίπῃ ὁ ἰὸς αὐτῆς (lxx) Eze 24:11 Pone quoque eam super prunas vacuam, ut incalescat, et liquefiat æs ejus, et confletur in medio ejus inquinamentum ejus, et consumatur rubigo ejus.(vulgate) 11 ׃24 וְהַעֲמִידֶ֥הָ עַל־גֶּחָלֶ֖יהָ רֵקָ֑ה לְמַ֨עַן תֵּחַ֜ם וְחָ֣רָה נְחֻשְׁתָּ֗הּ וְנִתְּכָ֤ה בְתוֹכָהּ֙ טֻמְאָתָ֔הּ תִּתֻּ֖ם חֶלְאָתָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:11 Lege auch den Topf leer auf die Glut, auf das er heiß werde und sein Erz entbrenne, ob seine Unreinigkeit zerschmelzen und sein Rost abgehen wolle.(dhs) Eze 24:11 "Then set the pot empty on the coals, That it may become hot and its bronze may burn, That its filthiness may be melted in it, That its scum may be consumed.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:12 ============ Eze 24:12 "She has wearied Me with toil, Yet her great rust has not gone from her; Let her rust be in the fire!(nas) Eze 24:12 καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξέλθῃ ἐξ αὐτῆς πολὺς ὁ ἰὸς αὐτῆς καταισχυνθήσεται ὁ ἰὸς αὐτῆς (lxx) Eze 24:12 Multo labore sudatum est, et non exivit de ea nimia rubigo ejus, neque per ignem.(vulgate) 12 ׃24 תְּאֻנִ֖ים הֶלְאָ֑ת וְלֹֽא־תֵצֵ֤א מִמֶּ֙נָּה֙ רַבַּ֣ת חֶלְאָתָ֔הּ בְּאֵ֖שׁ חֶלְאָתָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:12 Aber wie sehr er brennt, will sein Rost doch nicht abgehen, denn es ist zuviel des Rosts; er muß im Feuer zerschmelzen.(dhs) Eze 24:12 She has grown weary with lies, And her great scum has not gone from her. Let her scum be in the fire!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:13 ============ Eze 24:13 "In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I would have cleansed you, Yet you are not clean, You will not be cleansed from your filthiness again Until I have spent My wrath on you.(nas) Eze 24:13 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐμιαίνου σύ καὶ τί ἐὰν μὴ καθαρισθῇς ἔτι ἕως οὗ ἐμπλήσω τὸν θυμόν μου (lxx) Eze 24:13 Immunditia tua execrabilis, quia mundare te volui, et non es mundata a sordibus tuis: sed nec mundaberis prius, donec quiescere faciam indignationem meam in te.(vulgate) 13 ׃24 בְּטֻמְאָתֵ֖ךְ זִמָּ֑ה יַ֤עַן טִֽהַרְתִּיךְ֙ וְלֹ֣א טָהַ֔רְתְּ מִטֻּמְאָתֵךְ֙ לֹ֣א תִטְהֲרִי־ע֔וֹד עַד־הֲנִיחִ֥י אֶת־חֲמָתִ֖י בָּֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:13 Deine Unreinigkeit ist so verhärtet, daß, ob ich dich gleich reinigen wollte, dennoch du nicht willst dich reinigen lassen von deiner Unreinigkeit. Darum kannst du hinfort nicht wieder rein werden, bis mein Grimm sich an dir gekühlt habe.(dhs) Eze 24:13 In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you, and you were not cleansed, You will not be cleansed of your filthiness anymore, Till I have caused My fury to rest upon you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:14 ============ Eze 24:14 I, the Lord, have spoken; it is coming and I will act. I will not relent, and I will not pity and I will not be sorry; according to your ways and according to your deeds I will judge you," declares the Lord God.'"(nas) Eze 24:14 ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα καὶ ἥξει καὶ ποιήσω οὐ διαστελῶ οὐδὲ μὴ ἐλεήσω κατὰ τὰς ὁδούς σου καὶ κατὰ τὰ ἐνθυμήματά σου κρινῶ σε λέγει κύριος διὰ τοῦτο ἐγὼ κρινῶ σε κατὰ τὰ αἵματά σου καὶ κατὰ τὰ ἐνθυμήματά σου κρινῶ σε ἡ ἀκάθαρτος ἡ ὀνομαστὴ καὶ πολλὴ τοῦ παραπικραίνειν (lxx) Eze 24:14 Ego Dominus locutus sum: veniet, et faciam: non transeam, nec parcam, nec placabor: juxta vias tuas, et juxta adinventiones tuas judicabo te, dicit Dominus.~(vulgate) 14 ׃24 אֲנִ֨י יְהוָ֤ה דִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙ בָּאָ֣ה וְעָשִׂ֔יתִי לֹֽא־אֶפְרַ֥ע וְלֹא־אָח֖וּס וְלֹ֣א אֶנָּחֵ֑ם כִּדְרָכַ֤יִךְ וְכַעֲלִילוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ שְׁפָט֔וּךְ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 24:14 Ich, der HERR, habe es geredet! Es soll kommen, ich will's tun und nicht säumen; ich will nicht schonen noch mich's reuen lassen; sondern sie sollen dich richten, wie du gelebt und getan hast, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 24:14 I, the Lord, have spoken it; It shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not hold back, Nor will I spare, Nor will I relent; According to your ways And according to your deeds They will judge you," Says the Lord God.' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:15 ============ Eze 24:15 And the word of the Lord came to me saying,(nas) Eze 24:15 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 24:15 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 15 ׃24 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:15 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 24:15 Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:16 ============ Eze 24:16 "Son of man, behold, I am about to take from you the desire of your eyes with a blow; but you shall not mourn and you shall not weep, and your tears shall not come.(nas) Eze 24:16 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λαμβάνω ἐκ σοῦ τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου ἐν παρατάξει οὐ μὴ κοπῇς οὐδὲ μὴ κλαυσθῇς (lxx) Eze 24:16 Fili hominis, ecce ego tollo a te desiderabile oculorum tuorum in plaga: et non planges, neque plorabis, neque fluent lacrimæ tuæ.(vulgate) 16 ׃24 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנְנִ֨י לֹקֵ֧חַ מִמְּךָ֛ אֶת־מַחְמַ֥ד עֵינֶ֖יךָ בְּמַגֵּפָ֑ה וְלֹ֤א תִסְפֹּד֙ וְלֹ֣א תִבְכֶּ֔ה וְל֥וֹא תָב֖וֹא דִּמְעָתֶֽךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:16 Du Menschenkind, siehe, ich will dir deiner Augen Lust nehmen durch eine Plage, aber du sollst nicht klagen noch weinen noch eine Träne lassen.(dhs) Eze 24:16 "Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:17 ============ Eze 24:17 Groan silently; make no mourning for the dead. Bind on your turban and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your mustache and do not eat the bread of men."(nas) Eze 24:17 στεναγμὸς αἵματος ὀσφύος πένθους ἐστίν οὐκ ἔσται τὸ τρίχωμά σου συμπεπλεγμένον ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ τὰ ὑποδήματά σου ἐν τοῖς ποσίν σου οὐ μὴ παρακληθῇς ἐν χείλεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ ἄρτον ἀνδρῶν οὐ μὴ φάγῃς (lxx) Eze 24:17 Ingemisce tacens: mortuorum luctum non facies: corona tua circumligata sit tibi, et calceamenta tua erunt in pedibus tuis: nec amictu ora velabis, nec cibos lugentium comedes.(vulgate) 17 ׃24 הֵאָנֵ֣ק ׀ דֹּ֗ם מֵתִים֙ אֵ֣בֶל לֹֽא־תַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה פְאֵֽרְךָ֙ חֲב֣וֹשׁ עָלֶ֔יךָ וּנְעָלֶ֖יךָ תָּשִׂ֣ים בְּרַגְלֶ֑יךָ וְלֹ֤א תַעְטֶה֙ עַל־שָׂפָ֔ם וְלֶ֥חֶם אֲנָשִׁ֖ים לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:17 Heimlich magst du seufzen, aber keine Totenklage führen; sondern du sollst deinen Schmuck anlegen und deine Schuhe anziehen. Du sollst deinen Mund nicht verhüllen und nicht das Trauerbrot essen.(dhs) Eze 24:17 Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban on your head, and put your sandals on your feet; do not cover your lips, and do not eat man's bread of sorrow."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:18 ============ Eze 24:18 So I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died. And in the morning I did as I was commanded.(nas) Eze 24:18 καὶ ἐλάλησα πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τὸ πρωὶ ὃν τρόπον ἐνετείλατό μοι καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἡ γυνή μου ἑσπέρας καὶ ἐποίησα τὸ πρωὶ ὃν τρόπον ἐπετάγη μοι (lxx) Eze 24:18 Locutus sum ergo ad populum mane, et mortua est uxor mea vespere: fecique mane sicut præceperat mihi.(vulgate) 18 ׃24 וָאֲדַבֵּ֤ר אֶל־הָעָם֙ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וַתָּ֥מָת אִשְׁתִּ֖י בָּעָ֑רֶב וָאַ֥עַשׂ בַּבֹּ֖קֶר כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צֻוֵּֽיתִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:18 Und da ich des Morgens früh zum Volk geredet hatte, starb mir am Abend mein Weib. Und ich tat des andern Morgens, wie mir befohlen war.(dhs) Eze 24:18 So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died; and the next morning I did as I was commanded.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:19 ============ Eze 24:19 The people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things that you are doing mean for us?"(nas) Eze 24:19 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ὁ λαός οὐκ ἀναγγελεῖς ἡμῖν τί ἐστιν ταῦτα ἃ σὺ ποιεῖς (lxx) Eze 24:19 Et dixit ad me populus: Quare non indicas nobis quid ista significent quæ tu facis?(vulgate) 19 ׃24 וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלַ֖י הָעָ֑ם הֲלֹֽא־תַגִּ֥יד לָ֙נוּ֙ מָה־אֵ֣לֶּה לָּ֔נוּ כִּ֥י אַתָּ֖ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:19 Und das Volk sprach zu mir: Willst du uns nicht anzeigen, was uns das bedeutet, was du tust?(dhs) Eze 24:19 And the people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things signify to us, that you behave so?"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:20 ============ Eze 24:20 Then I said to them, "The word of the Lord came to me saying,(nas) Eze 24:20 καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτούς λόγος κυρίου πρός με ἐγένετο λέγων (lxx) Eze 24:20 Et dixi ad eos: Sermo Domini factus est ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 20 ׃24 וָאֹמַ֖ר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם דְּבַ֨ר־יְהוָ֔ה הָיָ֥ה אֵלַ֖י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:20 Und ich sprach zu ihnen: Der HERR hat mir geredet und gesagt:(dhs) Eze 24:20 Then I answered them, "The word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:21 ============ Eze 24:21 'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I am about to profane My sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes and the delight of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.(nas) Eze 24:21 εἰπὸν πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ βεβηλῶ τὰ ἅγιά μου φρύαγμα ἰσχύος ὑμῶν ἐπιθυμήματα ὀφθαλμῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ὑπὲρ ὧν φείδονται αἱ ψυχαὶ ὑμῶν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμῶν οὓς ἐγκατελίπετε ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσοῦνται (lxx) Eze 24:21 Loquere domui Israël: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego polluam sanctuarium meum, superbiam imperii vestri, et desiderabile oculorum vestrorum, et super quo pavet anima vestra: filii vestri et filiæ vestræ quas reliquistis, gladio cadent.(vulgate) 21 ׃24 אֱמֹ֣ר ׀ לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִנְנִ֨י מְחַלֵּ֤ל אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁי֙ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזְּכֶ֔ם מַחְמַ֥ד עֵֽינֵיכֶ֖ם וּמַחְמַ֣ל נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם וּבְנֵיכֶ֧ם וּבְנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲזַבְתֶּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:21 Sage dem Hause Israel, daß der HERR HERR spricht also: Siehe, ich will mein Heiligtum, euren höchsten Trost, die Lust eurer Augen und eures Herzens Wunsch entheiligen; und euer Söhne und Töchter, die ihr verlassen mußtet, werden durchs Schwert fallen.(dhs) Eze 24:21 'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord God: 'Behold, I will profane My sanctuary, your arrogant boast, the desire of your eyes, the delight of your soul; and your sons and daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:22 ============ Eze 24:22 You will do as I have done; you will not cover your mustache and you will not eat the bread of men.(nas) Eze 24:22 καὶ ποιήσετε ὃν τρόπον πεποίηκα ἀπὸ στόματος αὐτῶν οὐ παρακληθήσεσθε καὶ ἄρτον ἀνδρῶν οὐ φάγεσθε (lxx) Eze 24:22 Et facietis sicut feci: ora amictu non velabitis, et cibos lugentium non comedetis:(vulgate) 22 ׃24 וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֑יתִי עַל־שָׂפָם֙ לֹ֣א תַעְט֔וּ וְלֶ֥חֶם אֲנָשִׁ֖ים לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:22 Und müßt tun, wie ich getan habe: euren Mund sollt ihr nicht verhüllen und das Trauerbrot nicht essen,(dhs) Eze 24:22 And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips nor eat man's bread of sorrow.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:23 ============ Eze 24:23 Your turbans will be on your heads and your shoes on your feet. You will not mourn and you will not weep, but you will rot away in your iniquities and you will groan to one another.(nas) Eze 24:23 καὶ αἱ κόμαι ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ ὑποδήματα ὑμῶν ἐν τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν οὔτε μὴ κόψησθε οὔτε μὴ κλαύσητε καὶ ἐντακήσεσθε ἐν ταῖς ἀδικίαις ὑμῶν καὶ παρακαλέσετε ἕκαστος τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Eze 24:23 coronas habebitis in capitibus vestris, et calceamenta in pedibus: non plangetis, neque flebitis, sed tabescetis in iniquitatibus vestris, et unusquisque gemet ad fratrem suum.(vulgate) 23 ׃24 וּפְאֵרֵכֶ֣ם עַל־רָאשֵׁיכֶ֗ם וְנַֽעֲלֵיכֶם֙ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֔ם לֹ֥א תִסְפְּד֖וּ וְלֹ֣א תִבְכּ֑וּ וּנְמַקֹּתֶם֙ בַּעֲוֺנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּנְהַמְתֶּ֖ם אִ֥ישׁ אֶל־אָחִֽיו׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:23 sondern sollt euren Schmuck auf euer Haupt setzen und eure Schuhe anziehen. Ihr werdet nicht klagen noch weinen, sondern über eure Sünden verschmachten und untereinander seufzen.(dhs) Eze 24:23 Your turbans shall be on your heads and your sandals on your feet; you shall neither mourn nor weep, but you shall pine away in your iniquities and mourn with one another.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:24 ============ Eze 24:24 Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done you will do; when it comes, then you will know that I am the Lord God.'"(nas) Eze 24:24 καὶ ἔσται Ιεζεκιηλ ὑμῖν εἰς τέρας κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν ποιήσετε ὅταν ἔλθῃ ταῦτα καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Eze 24:24 Eritque Ezechiel vobis in portentum: juxta omnia quæ fecit, facietis cum venerit istud: et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus.(vulgate) 24 ׃24 וְהָיָ֨ה יְחֶזְקֵ֤אל לָכֶם֙ לְמוֹפֵ֔ת כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖ה תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ בְּבֹאָ֕הּ וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 24:24 Und soll also Hesekiel euch ein Wunderzeichen sein, daß ihr tun müßt, wie er getan hat, wenn es nun kommen wird, damit ihr erfahrt, daß ich der HERR HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 24:24 Thus Ezekiel is a sign to you; according to all that he has done you shall do; and when this comes, you shall know that I am the Lord God.' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:25 ============ Eze 24:25 'As for you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their stronghold, the joy of their pride, the desire of their eyes and their heart's delight, their sons and their daughters,(nas) Eze 24:25 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου οὐχὶ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὅταν λαμβάνω τὴν ἰσχὺν παρ᾽ αὐτῶν τὴν ἔπαρσιν τῆς καυχήσεως αὐτῶν τὰ ἐπιθυμήματα ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν ἔπαρσιν ψυχῆς αὐτῶν υἱοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ θυγατέρας αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 24:25 Et tu, fili hominis, ecce in die qua tollam ab eis fortitudinem eorum, et gaudium dignitatis, et desiderium oculorum eorum, super quo requiescunt animæ eorum, filios et filias eorum:(vulgate) 25 ׃24 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֔ם הֲל֗וֹא בְּי֨וֹם קַחְתִּ֤י מֵהֶם֙ אֶת־מָ֣עוּזָּ֔ם מְשׂ֖וֹשׂ תִּפְאַרְתָּ֑ם אֶת־מַחְמַ֤ד עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ וְאֶת־מַשָּׂ֣א נַפְשָׁ֔ם בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם וּבְנוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:25 Und du, Menschenkind, zu der Zeit, wann ich wegnehmen werde von ihnen ihre Macht und ihren Trost, die Lust ihrer Augen und des Herzens Wunsch, ihre Söhne und Töchter,(dhs) Eze 24:25 'And you, son of man--will it not be in the day when I take from them their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which they set their minds, their sons and their daughters:(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:26 ============ Eze 24:26 that on that day he who escapes will come to you with information for your ears?(nas) Eze 24:26 ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἥξει ὁ ἀνασῳζόμενος πρὸς σὲ τοῦ ἀναγγεῖλαί σοι εἰς τὰ ὦτα (lxx) Eze 24:26 in die illa, cum venerit fugiens ad te ut annuntiet tibi:(vulgate) 26 ׃24 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא יָב֥וֹא הַפָּלִ֖יט אֵלֶ֑יךָ לְהַשְׁמָע֖וּת אָזְנָֽיִם׃ Ezekiel Eze 24:26 ja, zur selben Zeit wird einer, so entronnen ist, zu dir kommen und dir's kundtun.(dhs) Eze 24:26 on that day one who escapes will come to you to let you hear it with your ears;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 24:27 ============ Eze 24:27 On that day your mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the Lord.'"(nas) Eze 24:27 ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ διανοιχθήσεται τὸ στόμα σου πρὸς τὸν ἀνασῳζόμενον καὶ λαλήσεις καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποκωφωθῇς οὐκέτι καὶ ἔσῃ αὐτοῖς εἰς τέρας καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Eze 24:27 in die, inquam illa, aperietur os tuum cum eo qui fugit, et loqueris, et non silebis ultra: erisque eis in portentum, et scietis quia ego Dominus.(vulgate) 27 ׃24 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִפָּ֤תַח פִּ֙יךָ֙ אֶת־הַפָּלִ֔יט וּתְדַבֵּ֕ר וְלֹ֥א תֵֽאָלֵ֖ם ע֑וֹד וְהָיִ֤יתָ לָהֶם֙ לְמוֹפֵ֔ת וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 24:27 Zur selben Zeit wird dein Mund aufgetan werden samt dem, der entronnen ist, daß du reden sollst und nicht mehr schweigen; denn du mußt ihr Wunderzeichen sein, daß sie erfahren, ich sei der HERR.(dhs) Eze 24:27 on that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped; you shall speak and no longer be mute.
