Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 27:1 ============ Eze 27:1 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me saying,(nas) Eze 27:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 27:1 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃27 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 27:1 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:2 ============ Eze 27:2 "And you, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;(nas) Eze 27:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ ἐπὶ Σορ θρῆνον (lxx) Eze 27:2 Tu ergo, fili hominis, assume super Tyrum lamentum:(vulgate) 2 ׃27 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֔ם שָׂ֥א עַל־צֹ֖ר קִינָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:2 Du Menschenkind, mach eine Wehklage über Tyrus(dhs) Eze 27:2 "Now, son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:3 ============ Eze 27:3 and say to Tyre, who dwells at the entrance to the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coastlands, 'Thus says the Lord God, "O Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'(nas) Eze 27:3 καὶ ἐρεῖς τῇ Σορ τῇ κατοικούσῃ ἐπὶ τῆς εἰσόδου τῆς θαλάσσης τῷ ἐμπορίῳ τῶν λαῶν ἀπὸ νήσων πολλῶν τάδε λέγει κύριος τῇ Σορ σὺ εἶπας ἐγὼ περιέθηκα ἐμαυτῇ κάλλος μου (lxx) Eze 27:3 et dices Tyro, quæ habitat in introitu maris, negotiationi populorum ad insulas multas: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: O Tyre, tu dixisti: Perfecti decoris ego sum,(vulgate) 3 ׃27 וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ לְצ֗וֹר *הישבתי **הַיֹּשֶׁ֙בֶת֙ עַל־מְבוֹאֹ֣ת יָ֔ם רֹכֶ֙לֶת֙ הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אֶל־אִיִּ֖ים רַבִּ֑ים כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה צ֕וֹר אַ֣תְּ אָמַ֔רְתְּ אֲנִ֖י כְּלִ֥ילַת יֹֽפִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:3 und sprich zu Tyrus, die da liegt vorn am Meer und mit vielen Inseln der Völker handelt: So spricht der HERR HERR: O Tyrus, du sprichst: Ich bin die Allerschönste.(dhs) Eze 27:3 and say to Tyre, 'You who are situated at the entrance of the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coastlands, thus says the Lord God: "O Tyre, you have said, ' I am perfect in beauty.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:4 ============ Eze 27:4 "Your borders are in the heart of the seas; Your builders have perfected your beauty.(nas) Eze 27:4 ἐν καρδίᾳ θαλάσσης τῷ Βεελιμ υἱοί σου περιέθηκάν σοι κάλλος (lxx) Eze 27:4 et in corde maris sita. Finitimi tui qui te ædificaverunt, impleverunt decorem tuum:(vulgate) 4 ׃27 בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּ֖ים גְּבוּלָ֑יִךְ בֹּנַ֕יִךְ כָּלְל֖וּ יָפְיֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:4 Deine Grenzen sind mitten im Meer und deine Bauleute haben dich aufs allerschönste zugerichtet.(dhs) Eze 27:4 Your borders are in the midst of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:5 ============ Eze 27:5 "They have made all your planks of fir trees from Senir; They have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.(nas) Eze 27:5 κέδρος ἐκ Σανιρ ᾠκοδομήθη σοι ταινίαι σανίδων κυπαρίσσου ἐκ τοῦ Λιβάνου ἐλήμφθησαν τοῦ ποιῆσαί σοι ἱστοὺς ἐλατίνους (lxx) Eze 27:5 abietibus de Sanir exstruxerunt te cum omnibus tabulatis maris: cedrum de Libano tulerunt ut facerent tibi malum.(vulgate) 5 ׃27 בְּרוֹשִׁ֤ים מִשְּׂנִיר֙ בָּ֣נוּ לָ֔ךְ אֵ֖ת כָּל־לֻֽחֹתָ֑יִם אֶ֤רֶז מִלְּבָנוֹן֙ לָקָ֔חוּ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת תֹּ֖רֶן עָלָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:5 Sie haben all dein Tafelwerk aus Zypressenholz vom Senir gemacht und die Zedern vom Libanon führen lassen und deine Mastbäume daraus gemacht(dhs) Eze 27:5 They made all your planks of fir trees from Senir; They took a cedar from Lebanon to make you a mast.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:6 ============ Eze 27:6 "Of oaks from Bashan they have made your oars; With ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood from the coastlands of Cyprus.(nas) Eze 27:6 ἐκ τῆς Βασανίτιδος ἐποίησαν τὰς κώπας σου τὰ ἱερά σου ἐποίησαν ἐξ ἐλέφαντος οἴκους ἀλσώδεις ἀπὸ νήσων τῶν Χεττιιν (lxx) Eze 27:6 Quercus de Basan dolaverunt in remos tuos, et transtra tua fecerunt tibi ex ebore indico, et prætoriola de insulis Italiæ.(vulgate) 6 ׃27 אַלּוֹנִים֙ מִבָּשָׁ֔ן עָשׂ֖וּ מִשּׁוֹטָ֑יִךְ קַרְשֵׁ֤ךְ עָֽשׂוּ־שֵׁן֙ בַּת־אֲשֻׁרִ֔ים מֵאִיֵּ֖י *כתים **כִּתִּיִּֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:6 und deine Ruder von Eichen aus Basan und deine Bänke von Elfenbein, gefaßt in Buchsbaumholz aus den Inseln der Chittiter.(dhs) Eze 27:6 Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; The company of Ashurites have inlaid your planks With ivory from the coasts of Cyprus.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:7 ============ Eze 27:7 "Your sail was of fine embroidered linen from Egypt So that it became your distinguishing mark; Your awning was blue and purple from the coastlands of Elishah.(nas) Eze 27:7 βύσσος μετὰ ποικιλίας ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἐγένετό σοι στρωμνὴ τοῦ περιθεῖναί σοι δόξαν καὶ περιβαλεῖν σε ὑάκινθον καὶ πορφύραν ἐκ τῶν νήσων Ελισαι καὶ ἐγένετο περιβόλαιά σου (lxx) Eze 27:7 Byssus varia de Ægypto texta est tibi in velum ut poneretur in malo: hyacinthus et purpura de insulis Elisa facta sunt operimentum tuum.(vulgate) 7 ׃27 שֵׁשׁ־בְּרִקְמָ֤ה מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ הָיָ֣ה מִפְרָשֵׂ֔ךְ לִהְי֥וֹת לָ֖ךְ לְנֵ֑ס תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן מֵאִיֵּ֥י אֱלִישָׁ֖ה הָיָ֥ה מְכַסֵּֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:7 Dein Segel war von gestickter, köstlicher Leinwand aus Ägypten, daß es dein Panier wäre, und deine Decken von blauem und rotem Purpur aus den Inseln Elisa.(dhs) Eze 27:7 Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was what you spread for your sail; Blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was what covered you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:8 ============ Eze 27:8 "The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; Your wise men, O Tyre, were aboard; they were your pilots.(nas) Eze 27:8 καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντές σου οἱ κατοικοῦντες Σιδῶνα καὶ Αράδιοι ἐγένοντο κωπηλάται σου οἱ σοφοί σου Σορ οἳ ἦσαν ἐν σοί οὗτοι κυβερνῆταί σου (lxx) Eze 27:8 Habitatores Sidonis et Aradii fuerunt remiges tui: sapientes tui, Tyre, facti sunt gubernatores tui.(vulgate) 8 ׃27 יֹשְׁבֵ֤י צִידוֹן֙ וְאַרְוַ֔ד הָי֥וּ שָׁטִ֖ים לָ֑ךְ חֲכָמַ֤יִךְ צוֹר֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ הֵ֖מָּה חֹבְלָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:8 Die von Sidon und Arvad waren deine Ruderknechte, und hattest geschickte Leute zu Tyrus, zu schiffen.(dhs) Eze 27:8 "Inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen; Your wise men, O Tyre, were in you; They became your pilots.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:9 ============ Eze 27:9 "The elders of Gebal and her wise men were with you repairing your seams; All the ships of the sea and their sailors were with you in order to deal in your merchandise.(nas) Eze 27:9 οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Βυβλίων καὶ οἱ σοφοὶ αὐτῶν ἦσαν ἐν σοί οὗτοι ἐνίσχυον τὴν βουλήν σου καὶ πάντα τὰ πλοῖα τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ οἱ κωπηλάται αὐτῶν ἐγένοντό σοι ἐπὶ δυσμὰς δυσμῶν (lxx) Eze 27:9 Senes Giblii et prudentes ejus habuerunt nautas ad ministerium variæ supellectilis tuæ: omnes naves maris, et nautæ earum, fuerunt in populo negotiationis tuæ.(vulgate) 9 ׃27 זִקְנֵ֨י גְבַ֤ל וַחֲכָמֶ֙יהָ֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ מַחֲזִיקֵ֖י בִּדְקֵ֑ךְ כָּל־אֳנִיּ֨וֹת הַיָּ֤ם וּמַלָּֽחֵיהֶם֙ הָ֣יוּ בָ֔ךְ לַעֲרֹ֖ב מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:9 Die Ältesten und Klugen von Gebal mußten deine Risse bessern. Alle Schiffe im Meer und ihre Schiffsleute fand man bei dir; die hatten ihren Handel in dir.(dhs) Eze 27:9 Elders of Gebal and its wise men Were in you to caulk your seams; All the ships of the sea And their oarsmen were in you To market your merchandise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:10 ============ Eze 27:10 "Persia and Lud and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung shield and helmet in you; they set forth your splendor.(nas) Eze 27:10 Πέρσαι καὶ Λυδοὶ καὶ Λίβυες ἦσαν ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου ἄνδρες πολεμισταί σου πέλτας καὶ περικεφαλαίας ἐκρέμασαν ἐν σοί οὗτοι ἔδωκαν τὴν δόξαν σου (lxx) Eze 27:10 Persæ, et Lydii, et Libyes erant in exercitu tuo viri bellatores tui: clypeum et galeam suspenderunt in te pro ornatu tuo.(vulgate) 10 ׃27 פָּרַ֨ס וְל֤וּד וּפוּט֙ הָי֣וּ בְחֵילֵ֔ךְ אַנְשֵׁ֖י מִלְחַמְתֵּ֑ךְ מָגֵ֤ן וְכוֹבַע֙ תִּלּוּ־בָ֔ךְ הֵ֖מָּה נָתְנ֥וּ הֲדָרֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:10 Die aus Persien, Lud und Lybien waren dein Kriegsvolk, die ihre Schilde und Helme in dir aufhingen und haben dich so schön geschmückt.(dhs) Eze 27:10 "Those from Persia, Lydia, and Libya Were in your army as men of war; They hung shield and helmet in you; They gave splendor to you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:11 ============ Eze 27:11 The sons of Arvad and your army were on your walls, all around, and the Gammadim were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around; they perfected your beauty.(nas) Eze 27:11 υἱοὶ Αραδίων καὶ ἡ δύναμίς σου ἐπὶ τῶν τειχέων σου φύλακες ἐν τοῖς πύργοις σου ἦσαν τὰς φαρέτρας αὐτῶν ἐκρέμασαν ἐπὶ τῶν ὅρμων σου κύκλῳ οὗτοι ἐτελείωσάν σου τὸ κάλλος (lxx) Eze 27:11 Filii Aradii cum exercitu tuo erant super muros tuos in circuitu: sed et Pigmæi qui erant in turribus tuis, pharetras suas suspenderunt in muris tuis per gyrum: ipsi compleverunt pulchritudinem tuam.(vulgate) 11 ׃27 בְּנֵ֧י אַרְוַ֣ד וְחֵילֵ֗ךְ עַל־חוֹמוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב וְגַ֨מָּדִ֔ים בְּמִגְדְּלוֹתַ֖יִךְ הָי֑וּ שִׁלְטֵיהֶ֞ם תִּלּ֤וּ עַל־חוֹמוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ סָבִ֔יב הֵ֖מָּה כָּלְל֥וּ יָפְיֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:11 Die von Arvad waren unter deinem Heer rings um die Mauern und Wächter auf deinen Türmen; die haben ihre Schilde allenthalben von deinen Mauern herabgehängt und dich so schön geschmückt.(dhs) Eze 27:11 Men of Arvad with your army were on your walls all around, And the men of Gammad were in your towers; They hung their shields on your walls all around; They made your beauty perfect.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:12 ============ Eze 27:12 "Tarshish was your customer because of the abundance of all kinds of wealth; with silver, iron, tin and lead they paid for your wares.(nas) Eze 27:12 Καρχηδόνιοι ἔμποροί σου ἀπὸ πλήθους πάσης ἰσχύος σου ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον καὶ σίδηρον καὶ κασσίτερον καὶ μόλυβον ἔδωκαν τὴν ἀγοράν σου (lxx) Eze 27:12 Carthaginenses negotiatores tui, a multitudine cunctarum divitiarum, argento, ferro, stanno, plumboque repleverunt nundinas tuas.(vulgate) 12 ׃27 תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ סֹחַרְתֵּ֖ךְ מֵרֹ֣ב כָּל־ה֑וֹן בְּכֶ֤סֶף בַּרְזֶל֙ בְּדִ֣יל וְעוֹפֶ֔רֶת נָתְנ֖וּ עִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:12 Tharsis hat dir mit seinem Handel gehabt und allerlei Waren, Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei auf die Märkte gebracht.(dhs) Eze 27:12 "Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:13 ============ Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal and Meshech, they were your traders; with the lives of men and vessels of bronze they paid for your merchandise.(nas) Eze 27:13 ἡ Ἑλλὰς καὶ ἡ σύμπασα καὶ τὰ παρατείνοντα οὗτοι ἐνεπορεύοντό σοι ἐν ψυχαῖς ἀνθρώπων καὶ σκεύη χαλκᾶ ἔδωκαν τὴν ἐμπορίαν σου (lxx) Eze 27:13 Græcia, Thubal, et Mosoch, ipsi institores tui: mancipia, et vasa ærea advexerunt populo tuo.(vulgate) 13 ׃27 יָוָ֤ן תֻּבַל֙ וָמֶ֔שֶׁךְ הֵ֖מָּה רֹֽכְלָ֑יִךְ בְּנֶ֤פֶשׁ אָדָם֙ וּכְלֵ֣י נְחֹ֔שֶׁת נָתְנ֖וּ מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:13 Javan, Thubal und Mesech haben mit dir gehandelt und haben dir leibeigene Leute und Geräte von Erz auf deine Märkte gebracht.(dhs) Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:14 ============ Eze 27:14 Those from Beth-togarmah gave horses and war horses and mules for your wares.(nas) Eze 27:14 ἐξ οἴκου Θεργαμα ἵππους καὶ ἱππεῖς ἔδωκαν ἀγοράν σου (lxx) Eze 27:14 De domo Thogorma, equos, et equites, et mulos adduxerunt ad forum tuum.(vulgate) 14 ׃27 מִבֵּ֖ית תּוֹגַרְמָ֑ה סוּסִ֤ים וּפָֽרָשִׁים֙ וּפְרָדִ֔ים נָתְנ֖וּ עִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:14 Die von Thogarma haben dir Rosse und Wagenpferde und Maulesel auf deine Märkte gebracht.(dhs) Eze 27:14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:15 ============ Eze 27:15 The sons of Dedan were your traders. Many coastlands were your market; ivory tusks and ebony they brought as your payment.(nas) Eze 27:15 υἱοὶ Ῥοδίων ἔμποροί σου ἀπὸ νήσων ἐπλήθυναν τὴν ἐμπορίαν σου ὀδόντας ἐλεφαντίνους καὶ τοῖς εἰσαγομένοις ἀντεδίδους τοὺς μισθούς σου (lxx) Eze 27:15 Filii Dedan negotiatores tui; insulæ multæ, negotiatio manus tuæ: dentes eburneos et hebeninos commutaverunt in pretio tuo.(vulgate) 15 ׃27 בְּנֵ֤י דְדָן֙ רֹֽכְלַ֔יִךְ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים סְחֹרַ֣ת יָדֵ֑ךְ קַרְנ֥וֹת שֵׁן֙ *והובנים **וְהָבְנִ֔ים הֵשִׁ֖יבוּ אֶשְׁכָּרֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:15 Die von Dedan sind deine Händler gewesen, und hast allenthalben in den Inseln gehandelt; die haben dir Elfenbein und Ebenholz verkauft.(dhs) Eze 27:15 The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:16 ============ Eze 27:16 Aram was your customer because of the abundance of your goods; they paid for your wares with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies.(nas) Eze 27:16 ἀνθρώπους ἐμπορίαν σου ἀπὸ πλήθους τοῦ συμμίκτου σου στακτὴν καὶ ποικίλματα ἐκ Θαρσις καὶ Ραμωθ καὶ Χορχορ ἔδωκαν τὴν ἀγοράν σου (lxx) Eze 27:16 Syrus negotiator tuus propter multitudinem operum tuorum: gemmam, et purpuram, et scutulata, et byssum, et sericum, et chodchod proposuerunt in mercatu tuo.(vulgate) 16 ׃27 אֲרָ֥ם סֹחַרְתֵּ֖ךְ מֵרֹ֣ב מַעֲשָׂ֑יִךְ בְּ֠נֹפֶךְ אַרְגָּמָ֨ן וְרִקְמָ֤ה וּבוּץ֙ וְרָאמֹ֣ת וְכַדְכֹּ֔ד נָתְנ֖וּ בְּעִזְבוֹנָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:16 Die Syrer haben bei dir geholt deine Arbeit, was du gemacht hast, und Rubine, Purpur, Teppiche, feine Leinwand und Korallen und Kristalle auf deine Märkte gebracht.(dhs) Eze 27:16 Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 27:17 ============ Eze 27:17 Judah and the land of Israel, they were your traders; with the wheat of Minnith, cakes, honey, oil and balm they paid for your merchandise.(nas) Eze 27:17 Ιουδας καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ Ισραηλ οὗτοι ἔμποροί σου ἐν σίτου πράσει καὶ μύρων καὶ κασίας καὶ πρῶτον μέλι καὶ ἔλαιον καὶ ῥητίνην ἔδωκαν εἰς τὸν σύμμικτόν σου (lxx) Eze 27:17 Juda et terra Israël, ipsi institores tui in frumento primo: balsamum, et mel, et oleum, et resinam proposuerunt in nundinis tuis.(vulgate) 17 ׃27 יְהוּדָה֙ וְאֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֵ֖מָּה רֹכְלָ֑יִךְ בְּחִטֵּ֣י מִ֠נִּית וּפַנַּ֨ג וּדְבַ֤שׁ וָשֶׁ֙מֶן֙ וָצֹ֔רִי נָתְנ֖וּ מַעֲרָבֵֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 27:17 Juda und das Land Israel haben auch mit dir gehandelt und haben Weizen von Minnith und Balsam und Honig und Öl und Mastix auf deine Märkte gebracht.(dhs) Eze 27:17 Judah and the land of Israel were your traders.
