Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 30:1 ============ Eze 30:1 The word of the Lord came again to me saying,(nas) Eze 30:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 30:1 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃30 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 30:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:2 ============ Eze 30:2 "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Wail, 'Alas for the day!'(nas) Eze 30:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ὦ ὦ ἡ ἡμέρα (lxx) Eze 30:2 Fili hominis, propheta, et dic: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ululate: Væ, væ diei!(vulgate) 2 ׃30 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵא֙ וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הֵילִ֖ילוּ הָ֥הּ לַיּֽוֹם׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:2 Du Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Heult: "O weh des Tages!"(dhs) Eze 30:2 "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Wail, 'Woe to the day!'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:3 ============ Eze 30:3 "For the day is near, Even the day of the Lord is near; It will be a day of clouds, A time of doom for the nations.(nas) Eze 30:3 ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡ ἡμέρα τοῦ κυρίου ἡμέρα πέρας ἐθνῶν ἔσται (lxx) Eze 30:3 quia juxta est dies, et appropinquat dies Domini, dies nubis: tempus gentium erit.(vulgate) 3 ׃30 כִּֽי־קָר֣וֹב י֔וֹם וְקָר֥וֹב י֖וֹם לַֽיהוָ֑ה י֣וֹם עָנָ֔ן עֵ֥ת גּוֹיִ֖ם יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:3 Denn der Tag ist nahe, ja, des HERRN Tag ist nahe, ein finsterer Tag; die Zeit der Heiden kommt.(dhs) Eze 30:3 For the day is near, Even the day of the Lord is near; It will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:4 ============ Eze 30:4 "A sword will come upon Egypt, And anguish will be in Ethiopia; When the slain fall in Egypt, They take away her wealth, And her foundations are torn down.(nas) Eze 30:4 καὶ ἥξει μάχαιρα ἐπ᾽ Αἰγυπτίους καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν τῇ Αἰθιοπίᾳ καὶ πεσοῦνται τετραυματισμένοι ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ συμπεσεῖται αὐτῆς τὰ θεμέλια (lxx) Eze 30:4 Et veniet gladius in Ægyptum, et erit pavor in Æthiopia, cum ceciderint vulnerati in Ægypto, et ablata fuerit multitudo illius, et destructa fundamenta ejus.(vulgate) 4 ׃30 וּבָאָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְהָיְתָ֤ה חַלְחָלָה֙ בְּכ֔וּשׁ בִּנְפֹ֥ל חָלָ֖ל בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְלָקְח֣וּ הֲמוֹנָ֔הּ וְנֶהֶרְס֖וּ יְסוֹדֹתֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:4 Und das Schwert soll über Ägypten kommen; und Mohrenland muß erschrecken, wenn die Erschlagenen in Ägypten fallen werden und sein Volk weggeführt und seine Grundfesten umgerissen werden.(dhs) Eze 30:4 The sword shall come upon Egypt, And great anguish shall be in Ethiopia, When the slain fall in Egypt, And they take away her wealth, And her foundations are broken down.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:5 ============ Eze 30:5 Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all Arabia, Libya and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword."(nas) Eze 30:5 Πέρσαι καὶ Κρῆτες καὶ Λυδοὶ καὶ Λίβυες καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐπίμικτοι καὶ τῶν υἱῶν τῆς διαθήκης μου μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται ἐν αὐτῇ (lxx) Eze 30:5 Æthiopia, et Libya, et Lydi, et omne reliquum vulgus, et Chub, et filii terræ fœderis, cum eis gladio cadent.(vulgate) 5 ׃30 כּ֣וּשׁ וּפ֤וּט וְלוּד֙ וְכָל־הָעֶ֣רֶב וְכ֔וּב וּבְנֵ֖י אֶ֣רֶץ הַבְּרִ֑ית אִתָּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 30:5 Mohrenland und Libyen und Lud mit allerlei Volk und Chub und die aus dem Lande des Bundes sind, sollen samt ihnen durchs Schwert fallen.(dhs) Eze 30:5 "Ethiopia, Libya, Lydia, all the mingled people, Chub, and the men of the lands who are allied, shall fall with them by the sword."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:6 ============ Eze 30:6 'Thus says the Lord, "Indeed, those who support Egypt will fall And the pride of her power will come down; From Migdol to Syene They will fall within her by the sword," Declares the Lord God.(nas) Eze 30:6 καὶ πεσοῦνται τὰ ἀντιστηρίγματα Αἰγύπτου καὶ καταβήσεται ἡ ὕβρις τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῆς ἀπὸ Μαγδώλου ἕως Συήνης μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται ἐν αὐτῇ λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 30:6 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Et corruent fulcientes Ægyptum, et destruetur superbia imperii ejus: a turre Syenes gladio cadent in ea, ait Dominus Deus exercituum.(vulgate) 6 ׃30 כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ סֹמְכֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וְיָרַ֖ד גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ מִמִּגְדֹּ֣ל סְוֵנֵ֗ה בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ יִפְּלוּ־בָ֔הּ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:6 So spricht der HERR: Die Schutzherren Ägyptens müssen fallen, und die Hoffart seiner Macht muß herunter; von Migdol bis gen Syene sollen sie durchs Schwert fallen, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 30:6 'Thus says the Lord: "Those who uphold Egypt shall fall, And the pride of her power shall come down. From Migdol to Syene Those within her shall fall by the sword," Says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:7 ============ Eze 30:7 "They will be desolate In the midst of the desolated lands; And her cities will be In the midst of the devastated cities.(nas) Eze 30:7 καὶ ἐρημωθήσεται ἐν μέσῳ χωρῶν ἠρημωμένων καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν ἐν μέσῳ πόλεων ἠρημωμένων ἔσονται (lxx) Eze 30:7 Et dissipabuntur in medio terrarum desolatarum, et urbes ejus in medio civitatum desertarum erunt:(vulgate) 7 ׃30 וְנָשַׁ֕מּוּ בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֑וֹת וְעָרָ֕יו בְּתוֹךְ־עָרִ֥ים נַחֲרָב֖וֹת תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:7 Und sie sollen wie andere wüste Länder wüst werden, und ihre Städte unter andren wüsten Städten wüst liegen,(dhs) Eze 30:7 "They shall be desolate in the midst of the desolate countries, And her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are laid waste.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:8 ============ Eze 30:8 "And they will know that I am the Lord, When I set a fire in Egypt And all her helpers are broken.(nas) Eze 30:8 καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὅταν δῶ πῦρ ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ συντριβῶσι πάντες οἱ βοηθοῦντες αὐτῇ (lxx) Eze 30:8 et scient quia ego Dominus, cum dedero ignem in Ægypto, et attriti fuerint omnes auxiliatores ejus.(vulgate) 8 ׃30 וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּתִתִּי־אֵ֣שׁ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ כָּל־עֹזְרֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:8 daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei, wenn ich ein Feuer in Ägypten mache, daß alle, die ihnen helfen, verstört werden.(dhs) Eze 30:8 Then they will know that I am the Lord, When I have set a fire in Egypt And all her helpers are destroyed.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:9 ============ Eze 30:9 On that day messengers will go forth from Me in ships to frighten secure Ethiopia; and anguish will be on them as on the day of Egypt; for behold, it comes!"(nas) Eze 30:9 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐξελεύσονται ἄγγελοι σπεύδοντες ἀφανίσαι τὴν Αἰθιοπίαν καὶ ἔσται ταραχὴ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ Αἰγύπτου ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἥκει (lxx) Eze 30:9 In die illa egredientur nuntii a facie mea in trieribus ad conterendam Æthiopiæ confidentiam: et erit pavor in eis in die Ægypti, quia absque dubio veniet.(vulgate) 9 ׃30 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵצְא֨וּ מַלְאָכִ֤ים מִלְּפָנַי֙ בַּצִּ֔ים לְהַחֲרִ֖יד אֶת־כּ֣וּשׁ בֶּ֑טַח וְהָיְתָ֨ה חַלְחָלָ֤ה בָהֶם֙ בְּי֣וֹם מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֥י הִנֵּ֖ה בָּאָֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 30:9 Zur selben Zeit werden Boten von mir ausziehen in Schiffen, Mohrenland zu schrecken, das jetzt so sicher ist; und wird ein Schrecken unter ihnen sein, gleich wie es Ägypten ging, da seine Zeit kam; denn siehe, es kommt gewiß.(dhs) Eze 30:9 On that day messengers shall go forth from Me in ships To make the careless Ethiopians afraid, And great anguish shall come upon them, As on the day of Egypt; For indeed it is coming!"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:10 ============ Eze 30:10 'Thus says the Lord God, "I will also make the hordes of Egypt cease By the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.(nas) Eze 30:10 τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολῶ πλῆθος Αἰγυπτίων διὰ χειρὸς Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος (lxx) Eze 30:10 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Cessare faciam multitudinem Ægypti in manu Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis.(vulgate) 10 ׃30 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ אֶת־הֲמ֣וֹן מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּיַ֖ד נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:10 So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will die Menge in Ägypten wegräumen durch Nebukadnezar, den König zu Babel.(dhs) Eze 30:10 'Thus says the Lord God: "I will also make a multitude of Egypt to cease By the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:11 ============ Eze 30:11 "He and his people with him, The most ruthless of the nations, Will be brought in to destroy the land; And they will draw their swords against Egypt And fill the land with the slain.(nas) Eze 30:11 αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ λοιμοὶ ἀπὸ ἐθνῶν ἀπεσταλμένοι ἀπολέσαι τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν πάντες τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ πλησθήσεται ἡ γῆ τραυματιῶν (lxx) Eze 30:11 Ipse et populus ejus cum eo, fortissimi gentium, adducentur ad disperdendam terram: et evaginabunt gladios suos super Ægyptum, et implebunt terram interfectis.(vulgate) 11 ׃30 ה֠וּא וְעַמּ֤וֹ אִתּוֹ֙ עָרִיצֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם מֽוּבָאִ֖ים לְשַׁחֵ֣ת הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־מִצְרַ֔יִם וּמָלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ חָלָֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:11 Denn er und sein Volk mit ihm, die Tyrannen der Heiden, sind herzugebracht, das Land zu verderben, und werden ihre Schwerter ausziehen wider Ägypten, daß das Land allenthalben voll Erschlagener liege.(dhs) Eze 30:11 He and his people with him, the most terrible of the nations, Shall be brought to destroy the land; They shall draw their swords against Egypt, And fill the land with the slain.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:12 ============ Eze 30:12 "Moreover, I will make the Nile canals dry And sell the land into the hands of evil men. And I will make the land desolate And all that is in it, By the hand of strangers; I the Lord have spoken."(nas) Eze 30:12 καὶ δώσω τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῶν ἐρήμους καὶ ἀπολῶ τὴν γῆν καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς ἐν χερσὶν ἀλλοτρίων ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα (lxx) Eze 30:12 Et faciam alveos fluminum aridos, et tradam terram in manus pessimorum: et dissipabo terram et plenitudinem ejus manu alienorum: ego Dominus locutus sum.(vulgate) 12 ׃30 וְנָתַתִּ֤י יְאֹרִים֙ חָֽרָבָ֔ה וּמָכַרְתִּ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיַד־רָעִ֑ים וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞י אֶ֤רֶץ וּמְלֹאָהּ֙ בְּיַד־זָרִ֔ים אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 30:12 Und ich will die Wasserströme trocken machen und das Land bösen Leuten verkaufen, und will das Land und was darin ist, durch Fremde verwüsten. Ich, der HERR, habe es geredet.(dhs) Eze 30:12 I will make the rivers dry, And sell the land into the hand of the wicked; I will make the land waste, and all that is in it, By the hand of aliens. I, the Lord, have spoken."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:13 ============ Eze 30:13 'Thus says the Lord God, "I will also destroy the idols And make the images cease from Memphis. And there will no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.(nas) Eze 30:13 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ ἀπολῶ μεγιστᾶνας ἀπὸ Μέμφεως καὶ ἄρχοντας ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι (lxx) Eze 30:13 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Et disperdam simulacra, et cessare faciam idola de Memphis: et dux de terra Ægypti non erit amplius, et dabo terrorem in terra Ægypti.(vulgate) 13 ׃30 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨י גִלּוּלִ֜ים וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י אֱלִילִים֙ מִנֹּ֔ף וְנָשִׂ֥יא מֵאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֑וֹד וְנָתַתִּ֥י יִרְאָ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:13 So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will die Götzen zu Noph ausrotten und die Abgötter vertilgen, und Ägypten soll keinen Fürsten mehr haben, und ich will einen Schrecken in Ägyptenland schicken.(dhs) Eze 30:13 'Thus says the Lord God: "I will also destroy the idols, And cause the images to cease from Noph; There shall no longer be princes from the land of Egypt; I will put fear in the land of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:14 ============ Eze 30:14 "I will make Pathros desolate, Set a fire in Zoan And execute judgments on Thebes.(nas) Eze 30:14 καὶ ἀπολῶ γῆν Παθουρης καὶ δώσω πῦρ ἐπὶ Τάνιν καὶ ποιήσω ἐκδίκησιν ἐν Διοσπόλει (lxx) Eze 30:14 Et disperdam terram Phathures, et dabo ignem in Taphnis, et faciam judicia in Alexandria.(vulgate) 14 ׃30 וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙ אֶת־פַּתְר֔וֹס וְנָתַ֥תִּי אֵ֖שׁ בְּצֹ֑עַן וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּנֹֽא׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:14 Ich will Pathros wüst machen und ein Feuer zu Zoan anzünden und das Recht über No gehen lassen(dhs) Eze 30:14 I will make Pathros desolate, Set fire to Zoan, And execute judgments in No.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:15 ============ Eze 30:15 "I will pour out My wrath on Sin, The stronghold of Egypt; I will also cut off the hordes of Thebes.(nas) Eze 30:15 καὶ ἐκχεῶ τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ Σάιν τὴν ἰσχὺν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολῶ τὸ πλῆθος Μέμφεως (lxx) Eze 30:15 Et effundam indignationem meam super Pelusium, robur Ægypti, et interficiam multitudinem Alexandriæ.(vulgate) 15 ׃30 וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣י חֲמָתִ֔י עַל־סִ֖ין מָע֣וֹז מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י אֶת־הֲמ֥וֹן נֹֽא׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:15 und will meinen Grimm ausschütten über Sin, die Festung Ägyptens, und will die Menge zu No ausrotten.(dhs) Eze 30:15 I will pour My fury on Sin, the strength of Egypt; I will cut off the multitude of No,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:16 ============ Eze 30:16 "I will set a fire in Egypt; Sin will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be breached And Memphis will have distresses daily.(nas) Eze 30:16 καὶ δώσω πῦρ ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ταραχὴν ταραχθήσεται Συήνη καὶ ἐν Διοσπόλει ἔσται ἔκρηγμα καὶ διαχυθήσεται ὕδατα (lxx) Eze 30:16 Et dabo ignem in Ægypto: quasi parturiens dolebit Pelusium, et Alexandria erit dissipata, et in Memphis angustiæ quotidianæ.(vulgate) 16 ׃30 וְנָתַ֤תִּי אֵשׁ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ח֤וּל *תחיל **תָּחוּל֙ סִ֔ין וְנֹ֖א תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְהִבָּקֵ֑עַ וְנֹ֖ף צָרֵ֥י יוֹמָֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:16 Ich will ein Feuer in Ägypten anzünden, und Sin soll angst und bange werden, und No soll zerrissen und Noph täglich geängstet werden.(dhs) Eze 30:16 And set a fire in Egypt; Sin shall have great pain, No shall be split open, And Noph shall be in distress daily.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:17 ============ Eze 30:17 "The young men of On and of Pi-beseth Will fall by the sword, And the women will go into captivity.(nas) Eze 30:17 νεανίσκοι ἡλίου πόλεως καὶ Βουβάστου ἐν μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ πορεύσονται (lxx) Eze 30:17 Juvenes Heliopoleos et Bubasti gladio cadent, et ipsæ captivæ ducentur.(vulgate) 17 ׃30 בַּח֥וּרֵי אָ֛וֶן וּפִי־בֶ֖סֶת בַּחֶ֣רֶב יִפֹּ֑לוּ וְהֵ֖נָּה בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:17 Die junge Mannschaft zu On und Bubastus sollen durchs Schwert fallen und die Weiber gefangen weggeführt werden.(dhs) Eze 30:17 The young men of Aven and Pi Beseth shall fall by the sword, And these cities shall go into captivity.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 30:18 ============ Eze 30:18 "In Tehaphnehes the day will be dark When I break there the yoke bars of Egypt. Then the pride of her power will cease in her; A cloud will cover her, And her daughters will go into captivity.(nas) Eze 30:18 καὶ ἐν Ταφνας συσκοτάσει ἡ ἡμέρα ἐν τῷ συντρῖψαι με ἐκεῖ τὰ σκῆπτρα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπολεῖται ἐκεῖ ἡ ὕβρις τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτῆς καὶ αὐτὴν νεφέλη καλύψει καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς αἰχμάλωτοι ἀχθήσονται (lxx) Eze 30:18 Et in Taphnis nigrescet dies, cum contrivero ibi sceptra Ægypti, et defecerit in ea superbia potentiæ ejus: ipsam nubes operiet, filiæ autem ejus in captivitatem ducentur.(vulgate) 18 ׃30 וּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙ חָשַׂ֣ךְ הַיּ֔וֹם בְּשִׁבְרִי־שָׁם֙ אֶת־מֹט֣וֹת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבַּת־בָּ֖הּ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ הִ֚יא עָנָ֣ן יְכַסֶּ֔נָּה וּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָ בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 30:18 Thachphanhes wird einen finstern Tag haben, wenn ich das Joch Ägyptens daselbst zerbrechen werde, daß die Hoffart seiner Macht darin ein Ende habe; sie wird mit Wolken bedeckt werden, und ihre Töchter werden gefangen weggeführt werden.(dhs) Eze 30:18 At Tehaphnehes the day shall also be darkened, When I break the yokes of Egypt there.
