The altar shall be most holy.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:11 ============ Exo 40:11 You shall anoint the laver and its stand, and consecrate it.(nas) Exo 40:11 -- (lxx) Exo 40:11 labrum cum basi sua: omnia unctionis oleo consecrabis, ut sint Sancta sanctorum.(vulgate) Exodus 40:11 Also thou shalt anoynt the Lauer, and his foote, and shalt sanctifie it.(Geneva) Exo 40:11 Sollst auch das Handfaß und seinen Fuß salben und weihen.(dhs) Exo 40:11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:12 ============ Exo 40:12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.(nas) Exo 40:12 καὶ προσάξεις Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ λούσεις αὐτοὺς ὕδατι (lxx) Exo 40:12 Applicabisque Aaron et filios ejus ad fores tabernaculi testimonii, et lotos aqua(vulgate) Exodus 40:12 Then thou shalt bring Aaron & his sonnes vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and wash them with water.(Geneva) Exo 40:12 Und sollst Aaron und seine Söhne vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts führen und mit Wasser waschen,(dhs) Exo 40:12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of meeting and wash them with water.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:13 ============ Exo 40:13 You shall put the holy garments on Aaron and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister as a priest to Me.(nas) Exo 40:13 καὶ ἐνδύσεις Ααρων τὰς στολὰς τὰς ἁγίας καὶ χρίσεις αὐτὸν καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτόν καὶ ἱερατεύσει μοι (lxx) Exo 40:13 indues sanctis vestibus, ut ministrent mihi, et unctio eorum in sacerdotium sempiternum proficiat.(vulgate) Exodus 40:13 And thou shalt put vpon Aaron the holy garmentes, and shalt anoynt him, and sanctifie him, that he may minister vnto me in the Priestes office.(Geneva) Exo 40:13 und Aaron die heiligen Kleider anziehen und ihn salben und weihen, daß er mein Priester sei;(dhs) Exo 40:13 You shall put the holy garments on Aaron, and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:14 ============ Exo 40:14 You shall bring his sons and put tunics on them;(nas) Exo 40:14 καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ προσάξεις καὶ ἐνδύσεις αὐτοὺς χιτῶνας (lxx) Exo 40:14 Fecitque Moyses omnia quæ præceperat Dominus.(vulgate) Exodus 40:14 Thou shalt also bring his sonnes, & clothe them with garments,(Geneva) Exo 40:14 und seine Söhne auch herzuführen und ihnen die engen Röcke anziehen,(dhs) Exo 40:14 And you shall bring his sons and clothe them with tunics.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:15 ============ Exo 40:15 and you shall anoint them even as you have anointed their father, that they may minister as priests to Me; and their anointing will qualify them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."(nas) Exo 40:15 καὶ ἀλείψεις αὐτούς ὃν τρόπον ἤλειψας τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν καὶ ἱερατεύσουσίν μοι καὶ ἔσται ὥστε εἶναι αὐτοῖς χρῖσμα ἱερατείας εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν (lxx) Exo 40:15 Igitur mense primo anni secundi, prima die mensis, collocatum est tabernaculum.(vulgate) Exodus 40:15 And shalt anoynt them as thou diddest anoynt their father, that they may minister vnto mee in the Priestes office: for their anoynting shall be a signe, that the Priesthood shall be euerlasting vnto them throughout their generations.(Geneva) Exo 40:15 und sie salben, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, daß sie meine Priester seien. tabernacle was erected.(nas) Exo 40:17 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πρώτῳ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἔτει ἐκπορευομένων αὐτῶν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου νουμηνίᾳ ἐστάθη ἡ σκηνή (lxx) Exo 40:17 et expandit tectum super tabernaculum, imposito desuper operimento, sicut Dominus imperaverat.(vulgate) Exodus 40:17 Thus was the Tabernacle reared vp the first day of the first moneth in the seconde yeere.(Geneva) Exo 40:17 Also ward die raised up.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:18 ============ Exo 40:18 Moses erected the tabernacle and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and inserted its bars and erected its pillars.(nas) Exo 40:18 καὶ ἔστησεν Μωυσῆς τὴν σκηνὴν καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὰς κεφαλίδας καὶ διενέβαλεν τοὺς μοχλοὺς καὶ ἔστησεν τοὺς στύλους (lxx) Exo 40:18 Posuit et testimonium in arca, subditis infra vectibus, et oraculum desuper.(vulgate) Exodus 40:18 Then Moses reared vp the Tabernacle and fastened his sockets, and set vp the boardes thereof, and put in the barres of it, and reared vp his pillars.(Geneva) Exo 40:18 commanded Moses.(nas) Exo 40:19 καὶ ἐξέτεινεν τὰς αὐλαίας ἐπὶ τὴν σκηνὴν καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὸ κατακάλυμμα τῆς σκηνῆς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἄνωθεν καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Exo 40:19 Cumque intulisset arcam in tabernaculum, appendit ante eam velum ut expleret Domini jussionem.(vulgate) Exodus 40:19 And he spred the couering ouer the Tabernacle, and put the couering of that couering on hie aboue it, as the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:20 ============ Exo 40:20 Then he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.(nas) Exo 40:20 καὶ λαβὼν τὰ μαρτύρια ἐνέβαλεν εἰς τὴν κιβωτὸν καὶ ὑπέθηκεν τοὺς διωστῆρας ὑπὸ τὴν κιβωτὸν (lxx) Exo 40:20 Posuit et mensam in tabernaculo testimonii ad plagam septentrionalem extra velum,(vulgate) Exodus 40:20 And he tooke and put the Testimonie in the Arke, and put the barres in the ringes of the Arke, and set the Merciseate on hie vpon the Arke.(Geneva) Exo 40:20 und nahm das Zeugnis und legte es in die Lade und tat die Stangen an die Lade und tat den Gnadenstuhl oben auf die arrangement of bread in order on it before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nas) Exo 40:23 καὶ προέθηκεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἄρτους τῆς προθέσεως ἔναντι κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ 40:24 He put the lampstand in the tabernacle of meeting, across from the table, on the south side of the tabernacle;(nkjv) ======= Exodus 40:25 ============ Exo 40:25 He lighted the lamps before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nas) Exo 40:25 καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τοὺς λύχνους αὐτῆς ἔναντι κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ (lxx) Exo 40:25 et adolevit super eo incensum aromatum,
