Leviticus 4:2 ============ Lev 4:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'If a person sins unintentionally in any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and commits any of Israël: Anima, quæ peccaverit per ignorantiam, et de universis mandatis Domini, quæ præcepit ut non fierent, quippiam fecerit:(vulgate) Leviticus 4:2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, If any against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:3 ============ Lev 4:3 if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord a bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.(nas) Lev 4:3 ἐὰν μὲν ὁ ἀρχιερεὺς ὁ κεχρισμένος ἁμάρτῃ τοῦ τὸν λαὸν ἁμαρτεῖν καὶ προσάξει περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἥμαρτεν μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν ἄμωμον τῷ κυρίῳ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ (lxx) Lev 4:3 si sacerdos, qui unctus est, peccaverit, delinquere faciens populum, offeret pro peccato suo vitulum immaculatum Domino:(vulgate) Leviticus 4:3 If the Priest that is anointed doe sinne (according to the sinne of the people) then shall he offer, for his sinne which hee hath sinned, a yong bullocke without blemish vnto the Lorde for a sinne offring,(Geneva) Lev 4:3 nämlich so der Priester, der gesalbt ist, sündigen würde, daß er eine Schuld auf das Volk brächte, der soll für seine Sünde, die er getan hat, einen jungen Farren bringen, der ohne Fehl sei, dem HERRN zum Sündopfer.(dhs) Lev 4:3 if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:4 ============ Lev 4:4 He shall bring the bull to the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull and slay the bull before the Lord.(nas) Lev 4:4 καὶ προσάξει τὸν μόσχον παρὰ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ μόσχου ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ σφάξει τὸν μόσχον ἐνώπιον κυρίου (lxx) Lev 4:4 et adducet illum ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii coram Domino, ponetque manum super caput ejus, et immolabit eum Domino.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:4 And hee shall bring the bullocke vnto the dore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before the Lorde, and shall put his hande vpon the bullocks head, and kill the bullocke before the Lorde.(Geneva) Lev 4:4 Und soll den Farren vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts bringen vor den HERRN und seine Hand auf desselben Haupt legen und ihn schlachten vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 4:4 He shall bring the bull to the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, lay his hand on the bull's head, and kill the bull before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:5 ============ Lev 4:5 Then the anointed priest is to take some of the blood of the bull and bring it to the tent of meeting,(nas) Lev 4:5 καὶ λαβὼν ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ χριστὸς ὁ τετελειωμένος τὰς χεῖρας ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου καὶ εἰσοίσει αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Lev 4:5 Hauriet quoque de sanguine vituli, inferens illum in tabernaculum testimonii.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:5 And the Priest that is anointed shall take of the bullocks blood, and bring it into the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Lev 4:5 Und der Priester, der gesalbt ist, soll von des Farren Blut nehmen und es in die Hütte des Stifts bringen(dhs) Lev 4:5 Then the anointed priest shall take some of the bull's blood and bring it to the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:6 ============ Lev 4:6 and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.(nas) Lev 4:6 καὶ βάψει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸν δάκτυλον εἰς τὸ αἷμα καὶ προσρανεῖ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος ἑπτάκις ἔναντι κυρίου κατὰ τὸ καταπέτασμα τὸ ἅγιον (lxx) Lev 4:6 Cumque intinxerit digitum in sanguine, asperget eo septies coram Domino contra velum sanctuarii.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:6 Then the Priest shall dippe his finger in the blood, & sprinkle of the blood seuen times before the Lord, before the vaile of the Sanctuarie.(Geneva) of fragrant incense which is before the Lord in the tent of meeting; and all the blood of the bull he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering which is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.(nas) Lev 4:7 καὶ ἐπιθήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ θυμιάματος τῆς συνθέσεως τοῦ ἐναντίον κυρίου ὅ ἐστιν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ πᾶν τὸ αἷμα τοῦ μόσχου ἐκχεεῖ παρὰ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων ὅ ἐστιν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Lev 4:7 Ponetque de eodem sanguine super cornua altaris thymiamatis gratissimi Domino, quod est in tabernaculo testimonii: omnem autem reliquum sanguinem fundet in basim altaris holocausti in introitu tabernaculi.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:7 The Priest also shall put some of the blood before the Lord, vpon the hornes of the altar of sweete incense, which is in the Tabernacle of the Congregatoin, then shall hee powre all the rest of the blood of the bullocke at the foote of the altar of burnt offring, which is at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Lev 4:7 Und soll von dem Blut tun auf die Hörner des Räucheraltars, der vor dem HERRN in der Hütte des Stifts steht, und alles übrige Blut gießen an den Boden des Brandopferaltars, der vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts steht.(dhs) Lev 4:7 And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of meeting; and he shall pour the remaining blood of the bull at the base of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:8 ============ Lev 4:8 He shall remove from it all the fat of the bull of the sin offering: the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat which is on the entrails,(nas) Lev 4:8 καὶ πᾶν τὸ στέαρ τοῦ μόσχου τοῦ τῆς ἁμαρτίας περιελεῖ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον τὰ ἐνδόσθια καὶ πᾶν τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπὶ τῶν ἐνδοσθίων (lxx) Lev 4:8 Et adipem vituli auferet pro peccato, tam eum qui vitalia operit quam omnia quæ intrinsecus sunt:(vulgate) Leviticus 4:8 And hee shall take away all the fat of the bullocke for the sinne offring: to wit, the The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat which is on the entrails,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:9 ============ Lev 4:9 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys(nas) Lev 4:9 καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν ὅ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῶν μηρίων καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος σὺν τοῖς νεφροῖς περιελεῖ αὐτό (lxx) Lev 4:9 duos renunculos et reticulum quod est super eos juxta ilia, et adipem jecoris cum renunculis,(vulgate) Leviticus 4:9 He shall take away also the two kidneis, and the fat that is vpon them, and vpon the flankes, and the kall vpon the liuer with the kidneis,(Geneva) Lev 4:9 die zwei Nieren mit dem Fett, das daran ist, an den Lenden, und das Netz über der Leber, an den Nieren abgerissen,(dhs) Lev 4:9 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:10 ============ Lev 4:10 (just as it is removed from the ox of the sacrifice of peace offerings), and the priest is to offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.(nas) Lev 4:10 ὃν τρόπον ἀφαιρεῖται ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου τοῦ τῆς θυσίας τοῦ σωτηρίου καὶ ἀνοίσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῆς καρπώσεως (lxx) Lev 4:10 sicut aufertur de vitulo hostiæ pacificorum: et adolebit ea super altare holocausti.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:10 As it was taken away from the bullock of the peace offrings, & the Priest shall burne them vpon the altar of burnt offring.(Geneva) Lev 4:10 gleichwie er's abhebt vom Ochsen im Dankopfer; und soll es anzünden auf dem Brandopferaltar.(dhs) Lev 4:10 as it was taken from the bull of the sacrifice of the peace offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar of the burnt offering.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:11 ============ Lev 4:11 But the hide of the bull and all its flesh with its head and its legs and its entrails and its refuse,(nas) Lev 4:11 καὶ τὸ δέρμα τοῦ μόσχου καὶ πᾶσαν αὐτοῦ τὴν σάρκα σὺν τῇ κεφαλῇ καὶ τοῖς ἀκρωτηρίοις καὶ τῇ κοιλίᾳ καὶ τῇ κόπρῳ (lxx) Lev 4:11 Pellem vero et omnes carnes, cum capite et pedibus et intestinis et fimo,(vulgate) Leviticus 4:11 But the skinne of the bullocke, and all his flesh, with his heade, and his legs, and his inwardes, and his dung shal he beare out.(Geneva) Lev 4:11 Aber das Fell des Farren mit allem Fleisch samt Kopf und Schenkeln und das Eingeweide und den Mist,(dhs) Lev 4:11 But the bull's hide and all its flesh, with its head and legs, its entrails and offal--(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:12 ============ Lev 4:12 that is, all the rest of the bull, he is to bring out to a clean place outside the camp where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out it shall be burned.(nas) Lev 4:12 καὶ ἐξοίσουσιν ὅλον τὸν μόσχον ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς εἰς τόπον καθαρόν οὗ ἐκχεοῦσιν τὴν σποδιάν καὶ κατακαύσουσιν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ξύλων ἐν πυρί ἐπὶ τῆς ἐκχύσεως τῆς σποδιᾶς καυθήσεται (lxx) Lev 4:12 et reliquo corpore, efferet extra castra in locum mundum, ubi cineres effundi solent: incendetque ea super lignorum struem, quæ in loco effusorum cinerum cremabuntur.~(vulgate) Leviticus 4:12 So he shall cary the whole bullocke out of the host vnto a cleane place, where the ashes are powred, & shall burne him on ye wood in the fire: where ye ashes are cast out, shal he be burnt.(Geneva) Lev 4:12 das soll er alles hinausführen aus dem Lager an eine reine Stätte, da man die Asche hin schüttet, und soll's verbrennen auf dem Holz mit Feuer.(dhs) Lev 4:12 the whole bull he shall carry outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out it shall be burned.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:13 ============ Lev 4:13 'Now if the whole congregation of Israel commits error and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, and they commit any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and they become guilty;(nas) Lev 4:13 ἐὰν δὲ πᾶσα συναγωγὴ Ισραηλ ἀγνοήσῃ ἀκουσίως καὶ λάθῃ ῥῆμα ἐξ ὀφθαλμῶν τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ποιήσωσιν μίαν ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἐντολῶν κυρίου ἣ οὐ ποιηθήσεται καὶ πλημμελήσωσιν (lxx) Lev 4:13 Quod si omnis turba Israël ignoraverit, et per imperitiam fecerit quod contra mandatum Domini est,(vulgate) Leviticus 4:13 And if the whole Congregation of Israel shall sinne through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the multitude, and haue done against any of the commaundementes of the Lorde which should not be done, and haue offended:(Geneva) Lev 4:13 Wenn die ganze Gemeinde Israel etwas versehen würde und die Tat vor ihren Augen verborgen wäre, daß sie wider irgend ein Gebot des HERRN getan hätten, was sie nicht tun sollten, und also sich verschuldeten,(dhs) Lev 4:13 'Now if the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which should not be done, and are guilty;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:14 ============ Lev 4:14 when the sin which they have committed becomes known, then the assembly shall offer a bull of the herd for a sin offering and bring it before the tent of meeting.(nas) Lev 4:14 καὶ γνωσθῇ αὐτοῖς ἡ ἁμαρτία ἣν ἥμαρτον ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ προσάξει ἡ συναγωγὴ μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν ἄμωμον περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ προσάξει αὐτὸν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Lev 4:14 et postea intellexerit peccatum suum, offeret pro peccato suo vitulum, adducetque eum ad ostium tabernaculi.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:14 When the sinne which they haue committed shalbe knowen, then the Congregation shall offer a yong bullocke for the sinne, & bring him before the Tabernacle of the Congregation,(Geneva) Lev 4:14 und darnach ihrer Sünde innewürden, die sie getan hätten, sollen sie einen jungen Farren darbringen zum Sündopfer und vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts stellen.(dhs) Lev 4:14 when the sin which they have committed becomes known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring it before the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 4:15 ============ Lev 4:15 Then the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be slain before the Lord.(nas) Lev 4:15 καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τῆς συναγωγῆς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ μόσχου ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ σφάξουσιν τὸν μόσχον ἔναντι κυρίου (lxx) Lev 4:15 Et ponent seniores populi manus super caput ejus coram Domino. Immolatoque vitulo in conspectu Domini,(vulgate) Leviticus 4:15 And the Elders of the Congregation shal put their handes vpon the head of the bullocke before the Lorde, and he shall kill the bullocke before the Lorde.(Geneva) Lev 4:15 Und die Ältesten von der Gemeinde sollen ihre Hände auf sein Haupt legen vor dem HERRN und den Farren schlachten vor dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 4:15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord. So the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.(nas) Lev 4:20 καὶ ποιήσει τὸν μόσχον ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησεν τὸν μόσχον τὸν τῆς ἁμαρτίας οὕτως ποιηθήσεται καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτῶν ὁ ἱερεύς καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτοῖς ἡ ἁμαρτία (lxx) Lev 4:20 sic faciens et de hoc vitulo quomodo fecit et prius: et rogante pro eis sacerdote, propitius erit eis Dominus.(vulgate) Leviticus 4:20 And the Priest shal doe with this bullocke, as he did with the bullocke for his sinne: so shall he do with this: so the Priest shal make an atonement for them, and it shalbe forgiuen them.(Geneva) Lev 4:20 Und soll mit dem Farren tun, wie er mit dem Farren des Sündopfers getan hat. Und soll also der Priester sie versöhnen, so wird's ihnen vergeben.(dhs) Lev 4:20 And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull as a sin offering; thus he shall do with it.
