Today's Date: ======= Deuteronomy 31:1 ============ Deu 31:1 So Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.(nas) Deu 31:1 καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωυσῆς λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ (lxx) Deu 31:1 Abiit itaque Moyses, et locutus est omnia verba hæc ad universum Israël,(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:1 Then Moses went and spake these wordes vnto all Israel,(Geneva) Deu 31:1 Und Mose ging hin und redete diese Worte mit dem ganzen Israel(dhs) Deu 31:1 Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:2 ============ Deu 31:2 And he said to them, "I am a hundred and twenty years old today; I am no longer able to come and go, and the Lord has said to me, 'You shall not cross this Jordan.'(nas) Deu 31:2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἐγώ εἰμι σήμερον οὐ δυνήσομαι ἔτι εἰσπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐκπορεύεσθαι κύριος δὲ εἶπεν πρός με οὐ διαβήσῃ τὸν Ιορδάνην τοῦτον (lxx) Deu 31:2 et dixit ad eos: Centum viginti annorum sum hodie; non possum ultra egredi et ingredi, præsertim cum et Dominus dixerit mihi: Non transibis Jordanem istum.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:2 And said vnto them, I am an hundreth and twentie yeere olde this day: I can no more goe out and in: also the Lorde hath saide vnto me, Thou shalt not goe ouer this Iorden.(Geneva) Deu 31:2 und sprach zu ihnen: Ich bin heute hundertundzwanzig Jahre alt; ich kann nicht mehr aus noch ein gehen; dazu hat der HERR zu mir gesagt: Du sollst nicht über diesen Jordan gehen.(dhs) Deu 31:2 And he said to them: "I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also the Lord has said to me, 'You shall not cross over this Jordan.'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:3 ============ Deu 31:3 It is the Lord your God who will cross ahead of you; He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, just as the Lord has spoken.(nas) Deu 31:3 κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου αὐτὸς ἐξολεθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτούς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου καθὰ ἐλάλησεν κύριος (lxx) Deu 31:3 Dominus ergo Deus tuus transibit ante te: ipse delebit omnes gentes has in conspectu tuo, et possidebis eas: et Josue iste transibit ante te, sicut locutus est Dominus.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:3 The Lord thy God he will go ouer before thee: he will destroy these nations before thee, and thou shalt possesse them. Ioshua, he shall goe before thee, as the Lorde hath said.(Geneva) Deu 31:3 Der HERR, dein Gott, wird selber vor dir her gehen; er wird selber diese Völker vor dir her vertilgen, daß du ihr Land einnehmest. Josua, der soll vor dir hinübergehen, wie der HERR geredet hat.(dhs) Deu 31:3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the Lord has said.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:4 ============ Deu 31:4 The Lord will do to them just as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when He destroyed them.(nas) Deu 31:4 καὶ ποιήσει κύριος αὐτοῖς καθὰ ἐποίησεν Σηων καὶ Ωγ τοῖς δυσὶ βασιλεῦσιν τῶν Αμορραίων οἳ ἦσαν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου καὶ τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν καθότι ἐξωλέθρευσεν αὐτούς (lxx) Deu 31:4 Facietque Dominus eis sicut fecit Sehon et Og regibus Amorrhæorum, et terræ eorum, delebitque eos.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:4 And the Lord shall doe vnto them, as he did to Sihon and to Og Kings of the Amorites: and vnto their lande whome he destroyed.(Geneva) Deu 31:4 Und der HERR wird ihnen tun, wie er getan hat Sihon und Og, den Königen der Amoriter, und ihrem Lande, welche er vertilgt hat.(dhs) Deu 31:4 And the Lord will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites and their land, when He destroyed them.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:5 ============ Deu 31:5 The Lord will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you.(nas) Deu 31:5 καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὑμῖν καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτοῖς καθότι ἐνετειλάμην ὑμῖν (lxx) Deu 31:5 Cum ergo et hos tradiderit vobis, similiter facietis eis, sicut præcepi vobis.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:5 And the Lord shal giue them before you that ye may do vnto them according vnto euery commandement, which I haue comanded you.(Geneva) Deu 31:5 Wenn sie nun der HERR vor euch dahingeben wird, so sollt ihr ihnen tun nach allem Gebot, das ich euch geboten habe.(dhs) Deu 31:5 The Lord will give them over to you, that you may do to them according to every commandment which I have commanded you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:6 ============ Deu 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you."(nas) Deu 31:6 ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν οὐ μή σε ἀνῇ οὔτε μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ (lxx) Deu 31:6 Viriliter agite, et confortamini: nolite timere, nec paveatis ad conspectum eorum: quia Dominus Deus tuus ipse est ductor tuus, et non dimittet, nec derelinquet te.~(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:6 Plucke vp your hearts therefore, and be strong: dread not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lorde thy God him selfe doeth goe with thee: he will not faile thee, nor forsake thee.(Geneva) Deu 31:6 Seid getrost und unverzagt, fürchtet euch nicht und laßt euch nicht vor ihnen grauen; denn der HERR, dein Gott, wird selber mit dir wandeln und wird die Hand nicht abtun noch dich verlassen.(dhs) Deu 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:7 ============ Deu 31:7 Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance.(nas) Deu 31:7 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς Ἰησοῦν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἔναντι παντὸς Ισραηλ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε σὺ γὰρ εἰσελεύσῃ πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσεν κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν ἡμῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς καὶ σὺ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτὴν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Deu 31:7 Vocavitque Moyses Josue, et dixit ei coram omni Israël: Confortare, et esto robustus: tu enim introduces populum istum in terram, quam daturum se patribus eorum juravit Dominus, et tu eam sorte divides.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:7 And Moses called Ioshua, and said vnto him in the sight of all Israel, Be of a good courage and strong: for thou shalt go with this people vnto the lande which the Lorde hath sworne vnto their fathers, to giue them, and thou shalt giue it them to inherite.(Geneva) Deu 31:7 Und Mose rief zu Josua und sprach zu ihm vor den Augen des ganzen Israel: Sei getrost und unverzagt; denn du wirst dies Volk in das Land bringen, das der HERR ihren Vätern geschworen hat ihnen zu geben, und du wirst es unter sie austeilen.(dhs) Deu 31:7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:8 ============ Deu 31:8 The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."(nas) Deu 31:8 καὶ κύριος ὁ συμπορευόμενος μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε οὐδὲ μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃ σε μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία (lxx) Deu 31:8 Et Dominus qui ductor est vester, ipse erit tecum: non dimittet, nec derelinquet te: noli timere, nec paveas.~(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lorde him selfe doeth go before thee: he will be with thee: he will not faile thee, neither forsake thee: feare not therefore, nor be discomforted.(Geneva) Deu 31:8 Der HERR aber, der selber vor euch her geht, der wird mit dir sein und wird die Hand nicht abtun noch dich verlassen. Fürchte dich nicht und erschrick nicht.(dhs) Deu 31:8 And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:9 ============ Deu 31:9 So Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.(nas) Deu 31:9 καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον καὶ ἔδωκεν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν τοῖς υἱοῖς Λευι τοῖς αἴρουσιν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ (lxx) Deu 31:9 Scripsit itaque Moyses legem hanc, et tradidit eam sacerdotibus filiis Levi, qui portabant arcam fœderis Domini, et cunctis senioribus Israël.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:9 And Moses wrote this Lawe, and deliuered it vnto the Priestes the sonnes of Leui (which bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lorde) and vnto all the Elders of Israel,(Geneva) Deu 31:9 Und Mose schrieb dies Gesetz und gab's den Priestern, den Kindern Levi, die die Lade des Bundes trugen, und allen Ältesten Israels(dhs) Deu 31:9 So Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:10 ============ Deu 31:10 Then Moses commanded them, saying, "At the end of every seven years, at the time of the year of remission of debts, at the Feast of Booths,(nas) Deu 31:10 καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων μετὰ ἑπτὰ ἔτη ἐν καιρῷ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἀφέσεως ἐν ἑορτῇ σκηνοπηγίας (lxx) Deu 31:10 Præcepitque eis, dicens: Post septem annos, anno remissionis, in solemnitate tabernaculorum,(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying, Euery seuenth yeere when the yeere of freedome shalbe in the feast of the Tabernacles:(Geneva) Deu 31:10 und gebot ihnen und sprach: Je nach sieben Jahren, zur Zeit des Erlaßjahrs, am Fest der Laubhütten,(dhs) Deu 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying: "At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of release, at the Feast of Tabernacles,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:11 ============ Deu 31:11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place which He will choose, you shall read this law in front of all Israel in their hearing.(nas) Deu 31:11 ἐν τῷ συμπορεύεσθαι πάντα Ισραηλ ὀφθῆναι ἐνώπιον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ἀναγνώσεσθε τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ἐναντίον παντὸς Ισραηλ εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν (lxx) Deu 31:11 convenientibus cunctis ex Israël, ut appareant in conspectu Domini Dei tui in loco quem elegerit Dominus, leges verba legis hujus coram omni Israël, audientibus eis,(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:11 When all Israel shall come to appeare before the Lorde thy God, in the place which he shall chuse, thou shalt reade this Lawe before all Israel that they may heare it.(Geneva) Deu 31:11 wenn das ganze Israel kommt, zu erscheinen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an dem Ort, den er erwählen wird, sollst du dieses Gesetz vor dem ganzen Israel ausrufen lassen vor ihren Ohren,(dhs) Deu 31:11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:12 ============ Deu 31:12 Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the alien who is in your town, so that they may hear and learn and fear the Lord your God, and be careful to observe all the words of this law.(nas) Deu 31:12 ἐκκλησιάσας τὸν λαόν τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα καὶ τὸν προσήλυτον τὸν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ὑμῶν ἵνα ἀκούσωσιν καὶ ἵνα μάθωσιν φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν καὶ ἀκούσονται ποιεῖν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου (lxx) Deu 31:12 et in unum omni populo congregato, tam viris quam mulieribus, parvulis, et advenis, qui sunt intra portas tuas: ut audientes discant, et timeant Dominum Deum vestrum, et custodiant, impleantque omnes sermones legis hujus.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:12 Gather the people together: men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may heare, and that they may learne, and feare the Lorde your God, and keepe and obserue all the wordes of this Lawe,(Geneva) Deu 31:12 nämlich vor der Versammlung des Volks (der Männer, Weiber und Kinder und deines Fremdlings, der in deinem Tor ist), auf daß sie es hören und lernen den HERRN, euren Gott, fürchten und es zu halten, daß sie tun alle Worte dieses Gesetzes,(dhs) Deu 31:12 Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:13 ============ Deu 31:13 Their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as you live on the land which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess." (nas) Deu 31:13 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν οἳ οὐκ οἴδασιν ἀκούσονται καὶ μαθήσονται φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ὅσας αὐτοὶ ζῶσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν (lxx) Deu 31:13 Filii quoque eorum qui nunc ignorant, ut audire possint, et timeant Dominum Deum suum cunctis diebus quibus versantur in terra, ad quam vos, Jordane transmisso, pergitis obtinendam.~(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:13 And that their children which haue not knowen it, may heare it, and learne to feare the Lorde your God, as long as ye liue in the lande, whither ye goe ouer Iorden to possesse it.(Geneva) Deu 31:13 und daß ihre Kinder, die es nicht wissen, es auch hören und lernen den HERRN, euren Gott, fürchten alle Tage, die ihr in dem Lande lebt, darein ihr gehet über den Jordan, es einzunehmen.(dhs) Deu 31:13 and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess."(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:14 ============ Deu 31:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, the time for you to die is near; call Joshua, and present yourselves at the tent of meeting, that I may commission him." So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the tent of meeting.(nas) Deu 31:14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἰδοὺ ἠγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ θανάτου σου κάλεσον Ἰησοῦν καὶ στῆτε παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐντελοῦμαι αὐτῷ καὶ ἐπορεύθη Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Deu 31:14 Et ait Dominus ad Moysen: Ecce prope sunt dies mortis tuæ: voca Josue, et state in tabernaculo testimonii, ut præcipiam ei. Abierunt ergo Moyses et Josue, et steterunt in tabernaculo testimonii:(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:14 Then the Lorde saide vnto Moses, Beholde, thy dayes are come, that thou must die: Call Ioshua, and stande ye in the Tabernacle of the Congregation that I may giue him a charge. So Moses and Ioshua went, and stoode in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Deu 31:14 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, deine Zeit ist herbeigekommen, daß du stirbst. Rufe Josua und tretet in die Hütte des Stifts, daß ich ihm Befehl tue. Mose ging hin mit Josua, und sie traten in die Hütte des Stifts.(dhs) Deu 31:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him." So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:15 ============ Deu 31:15 The Lord appeared in the tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood at the doorway of the tent.(nas) Deu 31:15 καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ ἔστη παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστη ὁ στῦλος τῆς νεφέλης παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς (lxx) Deu 31:15 apparuitque Dominus ibi in columna nubis, quæ stetit in introitu tabernaculi.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:15 And the Lorde appeared in the Tabernacle, in the pillar of a cloude: and the pillar of the cloude stoode ouer the doore of the Tabernacle.(Geneva) Deu 31:15 Der HERR aber erschien in der Hütte in einer Wolkensäule, und die Wolkensäule stand in der Hütte Tür.(dhs) Deu 31:15 Now the Lord appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood above the door of the tabernacle.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:16 ============ Deu 31:16 The Lord said to Moses, "Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land, into the midst of which they are going, and will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.(nas) Deu 31:16 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἰδοὺ σὺ κοιμᾷ μετὰ τῶν πατέρων σου καὶ ἀναστὰς ὁ λαὸς οὗτος ἐκπορνεύσει ὀπίσω θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν οὗτος εἰσπορεύεται ἐκεῖ εἰς αὐτήν καὶ ἐγκαταλείψουσίν με καὶ διασκεδάσουσιν τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν διεθέμην αὐτοῖς (lxx) Deu 31:16 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Ecce tu dormies cum patribus tuis, et populus iste consurgens fornicabitur post deos alienos in terra, ad quam ingreditur ut habitet in ea: ibi derelinquet me, et irritum faciet fœdus, quod pepigi cum eo.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:16 And the Lorde said vnto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleepe with thy fathers, and this people will rise vp, and goe a whoring after the gods of a strange land (whither they goe to dwell therein) and will forsake me, and breake my couenant which I haue made with them.(Geneva) Deu 31:16 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, du wirst schlafen mit deinen Vätern; und dies Volk wird aufkommen und wird abfallen zu fremden Göttern des Landes, darein sie kommen, und wird mich verlassen und den Bund fahren lassen, den ich mit ihm gemacht habe.(dhs) Deu 31:16 And the Lord said to Moses: "Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 31:17 ============ Deu 31:17 Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will come upon them; so that they will say in that day, 'Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have come upon us?'(nas) Deu 31:17 καὶ ὀργισθήσομαι θυμῷ εἰς αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ καταλείψω αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσται κατάβρωμα καὶ εὑρήσουσιν αὐτὸν κακὰ πολλὰ καὶ θλίψεις καὶ ἐρεῖ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ διότι οὐκ ἔστιν κύριος ὁ θεός μου ἐν ἐμοί εὕροσάν με τὰ κακὰ ταῦτα (lxx) Deu 31:17 Et irascetur furor meus contra eum in die illo: et derelinquam eum, et abscondam faciem meam ab eo, et erit in devorationem: invenient eum omnia mala et afflictiones, ita ut dicat in illo die: Vere quia non est Deus mecum, invenerunt me hæc mala.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 31:17 Wherefore my wrath will waxe hote against them at that day, and I will forsake them, and will hide my face from them: then they shalbe consumed, and many aduersities and tribulations shall come vpon them: so then they will say, Are not these troubles come vpon me, because God is not with me?(Geneva) Deu 31:17 So wird mein Zorn ergrimmen über sie zur selben Zeit, und ich werde sie verlassen und mein Antlitz vor ihnen verbergen, daß sie verzehrt werden. Und wenn sie dann viel Unglück und Angst treffen wird, werden sie sagen: Hat mich nicht dies Übel alles betreten, weil mein Gott nicht mit mir ist?(dhs) Deu 31:17 Then My anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured.
