Consurgensque Samuel, abiit ad Heli, et dixit: Ecce ego, quia vocasti me. So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli discerned that the Lord was calling the boy.(nas) 1Sa 3:8 καὶ προσέθετο κύριος καλέσαι Σαμουηλ ἐν τρίτῳ καὶ ἀνέστη καὶ ἐπορεύθη πρὸς Ηλι καὶ εἶπεν ἰδοὺ ἐγώ ὅτι κέκληκάς με καὶ ἐσοφίσατο Ηλι ὅτι κύριος κέκληκεν τὸ παιδάριον (lxx) 1Sa 3:8 Et adjecit Dominus, et vocavit adhuc Samuelem tertio. Qui consurgens abiit ad Heli,(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:8 And the Lorde called Samuel againe the thirde time: and he arose, and went to Eli, & said, I am here: for thou hast called me. Then Eli perceiued that the Lord had called the childe.(Geneva) 1Sa 3:8 Und der HERR rief Samuel wieder, zum drittenmal. Then he arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you did call me." Then Eli perceived that the Lord had called the boy.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:9 ============ 1Sa 3:9 And Eli said to Samuel, "Go lie down, and it shall be if He calls you, that you shall say, 'Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place.(nas) 1Sa 3:9 καὶ εἶπεν ἀνάστρεφε κάθευδε τέκνον καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν καλέσῃ σε καὶ ἐρεῖς λάλει κύριε ὅτι ἀκούει ὁ δοῦλός σου καὶ ἐπορεύθη Σαμουηλ καὶ ἐκοιμήθη ἐν τῷ τόπῳ αὐτοῦ (lxx) 1Sa 3:9 et ait: Ecce ego, quia vocasti me. Intellexit ergo Heli quia Dominus vocaret puerum: et ait ad Samuelem: Vade, et dormi: et si deinceps vocaverit te, dices: Loquere, Domine, quia audit servus tuus. Abiit ergo Samuel, et dormivit in loco suo.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:9 Therefore Eli saide vnto Samuel, Goe and sleepe: and if he call thee, then say, Speake Lorde, for thy seruant heareth. May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the words that He spoke to you."(nas) 1Sa 3:17 καὶ εἶπεν τί τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ λαληθὲν πρὸς σέ μὴ δὴ κρύψῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ τάδε ποιήσαι σοι ὁ θεὸς καὶ τάδε προσθείη ἐὰν κρύψῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ῥῆμα ἐκ πάντων τῶν λόγων τῶν λαληθέντων σοι ἐν τοῖς ὠσίν σου (lxx) 1Sa 3:17 Et interrogavit eum: Quis est sermo, quem locutus est Dominus ad te? oro te ne celaveris me: hæc faciat tibi Deus, et hæc addat, si absconderis a me sermonem ex omnibus verbis quæ dicta sunt tibi.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:17 Then he said, What is it, that the Lord said vnto thee? I pray thee, hide it not from mee. God doe so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me, of all that he said vnto thee.(Geneva) 1Sa 3:17 Er sprach: Was ist das Wort, das dir gesagt ist? Please do not hide it from me. And he said, "It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him."(nas) 1Sa 3:18 καὶ ἀπήγγειλεν Σαμουηλ πάντας τοὺς λόγους καὶ οὐκ ἔκρυψεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν Ηλι κύριος αὐτός τὸ ἀγαθὸν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ποιήσει (lxx) 1Sa 3:18 Indicavit itaque ei Samuel universos sermones, et non abscondit ab eo. Et ille respondit: Dominus est: quod bonum est in oculis suis faciat.~(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:18 So Samuel tolde him euery whit, and hid nothing from him. Let Him do what seems good to Him."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:19 ============ 1Sa 3:19 Thus Samuel grew and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fail.(nas) 1Sa 3:19 καὶ ἐμεγαλύνθη Σαμουηλ καὶ ἦν κύριος μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔπεσεν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν λόγων αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν (lxx) 1Sa 3:19 Crevit autem Samuel, et Dominus erat cum eo, et non cecidit ex omnibus verbis ejus in terram.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:19 And Samuel grew, & the Lord was with him, and let none of his words fall to the ground.(Geneva) 1Sa 3:19 Samuel aber nahm zu, und der HERR war mit ihm, und fiel keines unter allen seinen Worten auf die Erde.(dhs) 1Sa 3:19 So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:20 ============ 1Sa 3:20 All Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord.(nas) 1Sa 3:20 καὶ ἔγνωσαν πᾶς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ Δαν καὶ ἕως Βηρσαβεε ὅτι πιστὸς Σαμουηλ εἰς προφήτην τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) 1Sa 3:20 Et cognovit universus Israël, a Dan usque Bersabee, quod fidelis Samuel propheta esset Domini.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:20 And all Israel fro Dan to Beer-sheba knew that faithfull Samuel was the Lordes Prophet.(Geneva) 1Sa 3:20 Und ganz Israel von Dan an bis gen Beer-Seba erkannte, daß Samuel ein treuer Prophet des HERRN war.(dhs) 1Sa 3:20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:21 ============ 1Sa 3:21 And the Lord appeared again at Shiloh, because the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the Lord.
