but he did not observe what the Lord had commanded.(nas) 1Ki 11:10 καὶ ἐντειλαμένου αὐτῷ ὑπὲρ τοῦ λόγου τούτου τὸ παράπαν μὴ πορευθῆναι ὀπίσω θεῶν ἑτέρων καὶ φυλάξασθαι ποιῆσαι ἃ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ κύριος ὁ θεός (lxx) 1Ki 11:10 et præceperat de verbo hoc ne sequeretur deos alienos: et non custodivit quæ mandavit ei Dominus.(vulgate) 1 Kings 11:10 And had giuen him a charge concerning this thing, that he should not follow other gods: but he kept not that, which the Lorde had commaunded him.(Geneva) 1Ki 11:10 und ihm solches geboten hatte, daß er nicht andern Göttern nachwandelte, und daß er doch nicht gehalten hatte, was ihm der HERR geboten hatte.(dhs) 1Ki 11:10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the Lord had commanded.(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 11:11 ============ 1Ki 11:11 So the Lord said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and you have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.(nas) 1Ki 11:11 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Σαλωμων ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐγένετο ταῦτα μετὰ σοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐφύλαξας τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ τὰ προστάγματά μου ἃ ἐνετειλάμην σοι διαρρήσσων διαρρήξω τὴν βασιλείαν σου ἐκ χειρός σου καὶ δώσω αὐτὴν τῷ δούλῳ σου (lxx) 1Ki 11:11 Dixit itaque Dominus Salomoni: Quia habuisti hoc apud te, et non custodisti pactum meum, et præcepta mea quæ mandavi tibi, disrumpens scindam regnum tuum, et dabo illud servo tuo.(vulgate) 1 Kings 11:11 Wherefore the Lord sayd vnto Salomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, & thou hast not kept my couenant, and my statutes (which I commanded thee) I will surely rent the kingdome from thee, and will giue it to thy seruant.(Geneva) 1Ki 11:11 Darum sprach der HERR zu Salomo: Weil solches bei dir geschehen ist, und hast meinen Bund und meine Gebote nicht gehalten, die ich dir geboten habe, so will ich auch das Königreich von dir reißen und deinem Knecht geben.(dhs) 1Ki 11:11 Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 11:12 ============ 1Ki 11:12 Nevertheless I will not do it in your days for the sake of your father David, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.(nas) 1Ki 11:12 πλὴν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις σου οὐ ποιήσω αὐτὰ διὰ Δαυιδ τὸν πατέρα σου ἐκ χειρὸς υἱοῦ σου λήμψομαι αὐτήν (lxx) 1Ki 11:12 Verumtamen in diebus tuis non faciam propter David patrem tuum: de manu filii tui scindam illud,(vulgate) 1 Kings 11:12 Notwithstanding in thy dayes I will not doe it, because of Dauid thy father, but I will rent it out of the hand of thy sonne:(Geneva) 1Ki 11:12 Doch bei deiner Zeit will ich's nicht tun um deines Vaters David willen;
