Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 35:1 ============ Isa 35:1 The wilderness and the desert will be glad, And the Arabah will rejoice and blossom; Like the crocus(nas) Isa 35:1 εὐφράνθητι ἔρημος διψῶσα ἀγαλλιάσθω ἔρημος καὶ ἀνθείτω ὡς κρίνον (lxx) Isa 35:1 [Lætabitur deserta et invia, et exsultabit solitudo, et florebit quasi lilium.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:1 The desert and the wildernes shall reioyce: and the waste ground shalbe glad and florish as the rose.(Geneva) Isa 35:1 Aber die Wüste und Einöde wird lustig sein, und das dürre Land wird fröhlich stehen und wird blühen wie die Lilien.(dhs) Isa 35:1 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:2 ============ Isa 35:2 It will blossom profusely And rejoice with rejoicing and shout of joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, The majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, The majesty of our God. (nas) Isa 35:2 καὶ ἐξανθήσει καὶ ἀγαλλιάσεται τὰ ἔρημα τοῦ Ιορδάνου καὶ ἡ δόξα τοῦ Λιβάνου ἐδόθη αὐτῇ καὶ ἡ τιμὴ τοῦ Καρμήλου καὶ ὁ λαός μου ὄψεται τὴν δόξαν κυρίου καὶ τὸ ὕψος τοῦ θεοῦ (lxx) Isa 35:2 Germinans germinabit, et exsultabit lætabunda et laudans: gloria Libani data est ei, decor Carmeli et Saron; ipsi videbunt gloriam Domini, et decorem Dei nostri.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:2 It shall florish abundantly and shal greatly reioyce also and ioye: the glory of Lebanon shalbe giuen vnto it: the beautie of Carmel, and of Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellencie of our God.(Geneva) Isa 35:2 Sie wird blühen und fröhlich stehen in aller Lust und Freude. (nas) Isa 35:3 ἰσχύσατε χεῖρες ἀνειμέναι καὶ γόνατα παραλελυμένα (lxx) Isa 35:3 Confortate manus dissolutas, et genua debilia roborate.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen the weake handes, and comfort the feeble knees.(Geneva) Isa 35:3 Stärkt die müden Hände und erquickt die strauchelnden Kniee!(dhs) Isa 35:3 Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:4 ============ Isa 35:4 Say to those with anxious heart, "Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you."(nas) Isa 35:4 παρακαλέσατε οἱ ὀλιγόψυχοι τῇ διανοίᾳ ἰσχύσατε μὴ φοβεῖσθε ἰδοὺ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν κρίσιν ἀνταποδίδωσιν καὶ ἀνταποδώσει αὐτὸς ἥξει καὶ σώσει ἡμᾶς (lxx) Isa 35:4 Dicite pusillanimis: Confortamini, et nolite timere: ecce Deus vester ultionem adducet retributionis; Deus ipse veniet, et salvabit vos.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:4 Say vnto them that are fearefull, Bee you strong, feare not: beholde, your God commeth with vengeance: euen God with a recompense, he will come and saue you.(Geneva) Isa 35:4 Saget den verzagten Herzen: Seid getrost, fürchtet euch nicht! (nas) Isa 35:5 τότε ἀνοιχθήσονται ὀφθαλμοὶ τυφλῶν καὶ ὦτα κωφῶν ἀκούσονται (lxx) Isa 35:5 Tunc aperientur oculi cæcorum, et aures surdorum patebunt;(vulgate) Isaiah 35:5 Then shall the eyes of the blinde be lightened, and the eares of the deafe be opened.(Geneva) Isa 35:5 Alsdann werden der Blinden Augen aufgetan werden, und der Tauben Ohren geöffnet werden;(dhs) Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:6 ============ Isa 35:6 Then the lame will leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness And streams in the Arabah. (nas) Isa 35:6 τότε ἁλεῖται ὡς ἔλαφος ὁ χωλός καὶ τρανὴ ἔσται γλῶσσα μογιλάλων ὅτι ἐρράγη ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὕδωρ καὶ φάραγξ ἐν γῇ διψώσῃ (lxx) Isa 35:6 tunc saliet sicut cervus claudus, et aperta erit lingua mutorum: quia scissæ sunt in deserto aquæ, et torrentes in solitudine;(vulgate) Isaiah 35:6 Then shal ye lame man leape as an hart, and the dumme mans tongue shal sing: for in the wildernes shal waters breake out, & riuers in ye desert.(Geneva) Isa 35:6 alsdann werden die Lahmen springen wie ein Hirsch, und der Stummen Zunge wird Lob sagen. Denn es werden Wasser in der Wüste hin und wieder fließen und Ströme im dürren Lande.(dhs) Isa 35:6 Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:7 ============ Isa 35:7 The scorched land will become a pool And the thirsty ground springs of water; In the haunt of jackals, its resting place, Grass becomes reeds and rushes. (nas) Isa 35:7 καὶ ἡ ἄνυδρος ἔσται εἰς ἕλη καὶ εἰς τὴν διψῶσαν γῆν πηγὴ ὕδατος ἔσται ἐκεῖ εὐφροσύνη ὀρνέων ἔπαυλις καλάμου καὶ ἕλη (lxx) Isa 35:7 et quæ erat arida, erit in stagnum, et sitiens in fontes aquarum. In cubilibus, in quibus prius dracones habitabant, orietur viror calami et junci.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:7 And the dry ground shalbe as a poole, and the thirstie (as springs of water in the habitation of dragons: where they lay) shall be a place for reedes and rushes.(Geneva) Isa 35:7 Und wo es zuvor trocken gewesen ist, sollen Teiche stehen; und wo es dürr gewesen ist, sollen Brunnquellen sein. Da zuvor die Schakale gelegen haben, soll Gras und Rohr und Schilf stehen.(dhs) Isa 35:7 The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:8 ============ Isa 35:8 A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it. (nas) Isa 35:8 ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁδὸς καθαρὰ καὶ ὁδὸς ἁγία κληθήσεται καὶ οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἐκεῖ ἀκάθαρτος οὐδὲ ἔσται ἐκεῖ ὁδὸς ἀκάθαρτος οἱ δὲ διεσπαρμένοι πορεύσονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ οὐ μὴ πλανηθῶσιν (lxx) Isa 35:8 Et erit ibi semita et via, et via sancta vocabitur: non transibit per eam pollutus, et hæc erit vobis directa via, ita ut stulti non errent per eam.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:8 And there shalbe a path and a way, and the way shalbe called holy: the polluted shall not passe by it: for he shalbe with them, and walke in the way, and the fooles shall not erre.(Geneva) Isa 35:8 Und es wird daselbst eine Bahn sein und ein Weg, welcher der heilige Weg heißen wird, daß kein Unreiner darauf gehen darf; und derselbe wird für sie sein, daß man darauf gehe, daß auch die Toren nicht irren mögen.(dhs) Isa 35:8 A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:9 ============ Isa 35:9 No lion will be there, Nor will any vicious beast go up on it; These will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there, (nas) Isa 35:9 καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐκεῖ λέων οὐδὲ τῶν θηρίων τῶν πονηρῶν οὐ μὴ ἀναβῇ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν οὐδὲ μὴ εὑρεθῇ ἐκεῖ ἀλλὰ πορεύσονται ἐν αὐτῇ λελυτρωμένοι (lxx) Isa 35:9 Non erit ibi leo, et mala bestia non ascendet per eam, nec invenietur ibi; et ambulabunt qui liberati fuerint.(vulgate) Isaiah 35:9 There shall be no lyon, nor noysome beastes shall ascend by it, neither shall they be found there, that the redeemed may walke.(Geneva) Isa 35:9 Es wird da kein Löwe sein, und wird kein reißendes Tier darauf treten noch daselbst gefunden werden; sondern man wird frei sicher daselbst gehen.(dhs) Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 35:10 ============ Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the Lord will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, With everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away. (nas) Isa 35:10 καὶ συνηγμένοι διὰ κύριον ἀποστραφήσονται καὶ ἥξουσιν εἰς Σιων μετ᾽ εὐφροσύνης καὶ εὐφροσύνη αἰώνιος ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς αὐτῶν ἐπὶ γὰρ κεφαλῆς αὐτῶν αἴνεσις καὶ ἀγαλλίαμα καὶ εὐφροσύνη καταλήμψεται αὐτούς ἀπέδρα ὀδύνη καὶ λύπη καὶ στεναγμός (lxx) Isa 35:10 Et redempti a Domino convertentur, et venient in Sion cum laude, et lætitia sempiterna super caput eorum: gaudium et lætitiam obtinebunt, et fugiet dolor et gemitus.](vulgate) Isaiah 35:10 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall returne and come to Zion with prayse: and euerlasting ioy shall bee vpon their heads: they shall obteine ioye and gladnesse, and sorow and mourning shall flee away.(Geneva) Isa 35:10 Die Erlösten des HERRN werden wiederkommen und gen Zion kommen mit Jauchzen; ewige Freude wird über ihrem Haupte sein; Freude und Wonne werden sie ergreifen, und Schmerz und Seufzen wird entfliehen.(dhs) Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. (nas) Isa 36:1 καὶ ἐγένετο τοῦ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτου ἔτους βασιλεύοντος Εζεκιου ἀνέβη Σενναχηριμ βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις τῆς Ιουδαίας τὰς ὀχυρὰς καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτάς (lxx) Isa 36:1 Et factum est in quartodecimo anno regis Ezechiæ, ascendit Sennacherib, rex Assyriorum, super omnes civitates Juda munitas, et cepit eas.(vulgate) Isaiah 36:1 Nowe in the fourteenth yeere of King Hezekiah, Saneherib King of Asshur came vp against al the strong cities of Iudah, & tooke them.(Geneva) Isa 36:1 Und es begab sich im vierzehnten Jahr des Königs Hiskia, zog der König von Assyrien, Sanherib, herauf wider alle festen Städte Juda's und gewann sie.(dhs) Isa 36:1 Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them.(nkjv) |
