(nas) Isa 48:3 τὰ πρότερα ἔτι ἀνήγγειλα καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματός μου ἐξῆλθεν καὶ ἀκουστὸν ἐγένετο ἐξάπινα ἐποίησα καὶ ἐπῆλθεν (lxx) Isa 48:3 Priora ex tunc annuntiavi, et ex ore meo exierunt, et audita feci ea: repente operatus sum, et venerunt.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:3 I haue declared ye former things of old, and they went out of my mouth, & I shewed them: I did them suddenly, and they came to passe.(Geneva) Isa 48:3 Ich habe es zuvor verkündigt, dies Zukünftige; aus meinem Munde ist's gekommen, und ich habe es lassen sagen; ich tue es auch plötzlich, daß es kommt.(dhs) Isa 48:3 "I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. (nas) Isa 48:6 ἠκούσατε πάντα καὶ ὑμεῖς οὐκ ἔγνωτε ἀλλὰ καὶ ἀκουστά σοι ἐποίησα τὰ καινὰ ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν ἃ μέλλει γίνεσθαι καὶ οὐκ εἶπας (lxx) Isa 48:6 Quæ audisti, vide omnia; vos autem, num annuntiastis? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 48:7 ============ Isa 48:7 "They are created now and not long ago; And before today you have not heard them, So that you will not say, 'Behold, I knew them.'(nas) Isa 48:7 νῦν γίνεται καὶ οὐ πάλαι καὶ οὐ προτέραις ἡμέραις ἤκουσας αὐτά μὴ εἴπῃς ὅτι ναί γινώσκω αὐτά (lxx) Isa 48:7 Nunc creata sunt et non ex tunc; et ante diem, et non audisti ea, ne forte dicas: Ecce ego cognovi ea.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:7 They are created now, and not of olde, and euen before this thou heardest them not, lest thou shouldest say, Beholde, I knewe them.(Geneva) Isa 48:7 Nun ist's geschaffen, und nicht vorlängst, und hast nicht einen Tag zuvor davon gehört, auf daß du nicht sagen könntest: Siehe, das wußte ich wohl.(dhs) Isa 48:7 They are created now and not from the beginning; And before this day you have not heard them, Lest you should say, 'Of course I knew them.'(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 48:8 ============ Isa 48:8 "You have not heard, you have not known. Even from long ago your ear has not been open, Because I knew that you would deal very treacherously; And you have been called a rebel from birth. (nas) Isa 48:8 οὔτε ἔγνως οὔτε ἠπίστω οὔτε ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ἤνοιξά σου τὰ ὦτα ἔγνων γὰρ ὅτι ἀθετῶν ἀθετήσεις καὶ ἄνομος ἔτι ἐκ κοιλίας κληθήσῃ (lxx) Isa 48:8 Neque audisti, neque cognovisti, neque ex tunc aperta est auris tua: scio enim quia prævaricans prævaricaberis, et transgressorem ex utero vocavi te.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:8 Yet thou heardest them not, neither diddest know them, neither yet was thine eare opened of olde: for I knewe that thou wouldest grieuously transgresse: therefore haue I called thee a transgressour from the wombe.(Geneva) Isa 48:8 Denn du hörtest es nicht und wußtest es auch nicht, und dein Ohr war dazumal nicht geöffnet; ich aber wußte wohl, daß du verachten würdest und von Mutterleib an ein Übertreter genannt bist.(dhs) Isa 48:8 Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. (nas) Isa 48:14 καὶ συναχθήσονται πάντες καὶ ἀκούσονται τίς αὐτοῖς ἀνήγγειλεν ταῦτα ἀγαπῶν σε ἐποίησα τὸ θέλημά σου ἐπὶ Βαβυλῶνα τοῦ ἆραι σπέρμα Χαλδαίων (lxx) Isa 48:14 Congregamini, omnes vos, et audite: quis de eis annuntiavit hæc? Dominus dilexit eum, faciet voluntatem suam in Babylone, et brachium suum in Chaldæis.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:14 All you, assemble your selues, and heare: which among them hath declared these thinges? The Lorde hath loued him: he wil doe his will in Babel, and his arme shalbe against the Chaldeans.(Geneva) Isa 48:14 Sammelt euch alle und hört: Wer ist unter diesen, der solches verkündigt hat? Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. (nas) Isa 48:18 καὶ εἰ ἤκουσας τῶν ἐντολῶν μου ἐγένετο ἂν ὡσεὶ ποταμὸς ἡ εἰρήνη σου καὶ ἡ δικαιοσύνη σου ὡς κῦμα θαλάσσης (lxx) Isa 48:18 Utinam attendisses mandata mea: facta fuisset sicut flumen pax tua, et justitia tua sicut gurgites maris:(vulgate) Isaiah 48:18 Oh that thou haddest hearkened to my commaundements! then had thy prosperitie bene as the floude, and thy righteousnesse as the waues of the sea.(Geneva) Isa 48:18 O daß du auf meine Gebote merktest, so würde dein Friede sein wie ein Wasserstrom, und deine Gerechtigkeit wie Meereswellen;(dhs) Isa 48:18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 48:19 ============ Isa 48:19 "Your descendants would have been like the sand, And your offspring like its grains; Their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence."(nas) Isa 48:19 καὶ ἐγένετο ἂν ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τὸ σπέρμα σου καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα τῆς κοιλίας σου ὡς ὁ χοῦς τῆς γῆς οὐδὲ νῦν οὐ μὴ ἐξολεθρευθῇς οὐδὲ ἀπολεῖται τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐνώπιόν μου (lxx) Isa 48:19 et fuisset quasi arena semen tuum, et stirps uteri tui ut lapilli ejus; non interisset et non fuisset attritum nomen ejus a facie mea.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:19 Thy seede also had beene as the sande, and the fruite of thy body like the grauell thereof: his name should not haue bene cut off nor destroied before me.(Geneva) Isa 48:19 und dein Same würde sein wie Sand, und die Sprossen deines Leibes wie Sandkörner; sein Name würde nicht ausgerottet noch vertilgt vor mir.(dhs) Isa 48:19 Your descendants also would have been like the sand, And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off Nor destroyed from before Me."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 48:20 ============ Isa 48:20 Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with the sound of joyful shouting, proclaim this, Send it out to the end of the earth; Say, "The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob."(nas) Isa 48:20 ἔξελθε ἐκ Βαβυλῶνος φεύγων ἀπὸ τῶν Χαλδαίων φωνὴν εὐφροσύνης ἀναγγείλατε καὶ ἀκουστὸν γενέσθω τοῦτο ἀπαγγείλατε ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς λέγετε ἐρρύσατο κύριος τὸν δοῦλον αὐτοῦ Ιακωβ (lxx) Isa 48:20 Egredimini de Babylone, fugite a Chaldæis, in voce exsultationis annuntiate: auditum facite hoc, et efferte illud usque ad extrema terræ. Dicite: Redemit Dominus servum suum Jacob.(vulgate) Isaiah 48:20 Goe yee out of Babel: flee yee from the Chaldeans, with a voice of ioy: tel and declare this: shewe it foorth to the ende of the earth: say yee, The Lord hath redeemed his seruant Iaakob.(Geneva) Isa 48:20 Gehet aus von Babel, fliehet von den Chaldäern mit fröhlichem Schall; verkündiget und lasset solches hören; bringt es aus bis an der Welt Ende; sprechet: Der HERR hat seinen Knecht Jakob erlöst.(dhs) Isa 48:20 Go forth from Babylon! He made the water flow out of the rock for them; He split the rock and the water gushed forth.
