(nas) Zec 9:2 καὶ Εμαθ ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς Τύρος καὶ Σιδών διότι ἐφρόνησαν σφόδρα (lxx) Zec 9:2 Emath quoque in terminis ejus, et Tyrus, et Sidon: assumpserunt quippe sibi sapientiam valde.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:2 And Hamath also shall border thereby: Tyrus also and Zidon, though they be very wise.(Geneva) Zec 9:2 dazu über Hamath, die daran grenzt; über Tyrus und Sidon auch, die sehr weise sind.(dhs) Zec 9:2 Also against Hamath, which borders on it, And against Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:3 ============ Zec 9:3 For Tyre built herself a fortress And piled up silver like dust, And gold like the mire of the streets. (nas) Zec 9:3 καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν Τύρος ὀχυρώματα ἑαυτῇ καὶ ἐθησαύρισεν ἀργύριον ὡς χοῦν καὶ συνήγαγεν χρυσίον ὡς πηλὸν ὁδῶν (lxx) Zec 9:3 Et ædificavit Tyrus munitionem suam, et coacervavit argentum quasi humum, et aurum ut lutum platearum.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:3 For Tyrus did build her selfe a strong holde, and heaped vp siluer as the dust, and golde as the myre of the streetes.(Geneva) Zec 9:3 Denn Tyrus baute sich eine Feste und sammelte Silber wie Sand und Gold wie Kot auf der Gasse.(dhs) Zec 9:3 For Tyre built herself a tower, Heaped up silver like the dust, And gold like the mire of the streets.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:4 ============ Zec 9:4 Behold, the Lord will dispossess her And cast her wealth into the sea; And she will be consumed with fire. (nas) Zec 9:4 διὰ τοῦτο κύριος κληρονομήσει αὐτὴν καὶ πατάξει εἰς θάλασσαν δύναμιν αὐτῆς καὶ αὕτη ἐν πυρὶ καταναλωθήσεται (lxx) Zec 9:4 Ecce Dominus possidebit eam: et percutiet in mari fortitudinem ejus, et hæc igni devorabitur.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:4 Beholde, the Lord wil spoyle her, and he wil smite her power in the Sea, and she shalbe deuoured with fire.(Geneva) Zec 9:4 Aber siehe, der HERR wird sie verderben und wird ihre Macht, die sie auf dem Meer hat, schlagen, und sie wird mit Feuer verbrannt werden.(dhs) Zec 9:4 Behold, the Lord will cast her out; He will destroy her power in the sea, And she will be devoured by fire.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:5 ============ Zec 9:5 Ashkelon will see it and be afraid. Gaza too will writhe in great pain; Also Ekron, for her expectation has been confounded. Moreover, the king will perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon will not be inhabited. (nas) Zec 9:5 ὄψεται Ἀσκαλὼν καὶ φοβηθήσεται καὶ Γάζα καὶ ὀδυνηθήσεται σφόδρα καὶ Ακκαρων ὅτι ᾐσχύνθη ἐπὶ τῷ παραπτώματι αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπολεῖται βασιλεὺς ἐκ Γάζης καὶ Ἀσκαλὼν οὐ μὴ κατοικηθῇ (lxx) Zec 9:5 Videbit Ascalon, et timebit, et Gaza, et dolebit nimis, et Accaron, quoniam confusa est spes ejus: et peribit rex de Gaza, et Ascalon non habitabitur.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:5 Ashkelon shall see it, and feare, and Azzah also shalbe very sorowfull, and Ekron: for her countenance shalbe ashamed, & the King shal perish fro Azzah, & Ashkelon shal not be inhabited.(Geneva) Zec 9:5 Wenn das Askalon sehen wird, wird sie erschrecken, und Gaza wird sehr Angst werden, dazu Ekron; denn ihre Zuversicht wird zu Schanden, und es wird aus sein mit dem König zu Gaza, und zu Askalon wird man nicht wohnen.(dhs) Zec 9:5 Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; And Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:6 ============ Zec 9:6 And a mongrel race will dwell in Ashdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. (nas) Zec 9:6 καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἀλλογενεῖς ἐν Ἀζώτῳ καὶ καθελῶ ὕβριν ἀλλοφύλων (lxx) Zec 9:6 Et sedebit separator in Azoto, et disperdam superbiam Philisthinorum.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:6 And the stranger shal dwell in Ashdod, and I wil cut off the pride of the Philistims.(Geneva) Zec 9:6 Zu Asdod werden Fremde wohnen; und ich will der Philister Pracht ausrotten.(dhs) Zec 9:6 "A mixed race shall settle in Ashdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:7 ============ Zec 9:7 And I will remove their blood from their mouth And their detestable things from between their teeth. Then they also will be a remnant for our God, And be like a clan in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite. (nas) Zec 9:7 καὶ ἐξαρῶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν ἐκ στόματος αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ βδελύγματα αὐτῶν ἐκ μέσου ὀδόντων αὐτῶν καὶ ὑπολειφθήσεται καὶ οὗτος τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν καὶ ἔσονται ὡς χιλίαρχος ἐν Ιουδα καὶ Ακκαρων ὡς ὁ Ιεβουσαῖος (lxx) Zec 9:7 Et auferam sanguinem ejus de ore ejus, et abominationes ejus de medio dentium ejus: et relinquetur etiam ipse Deo nostro, et erit quasi dux in Juda, et Accaron quasi Jebusæus.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:7 And I wil take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from betweene his teeth: but he that remaineth, euen he shalbe for our God, and he shalbe as a prince in Iudah, but Ekron shalbe as a Iebusite.(Geneva) Zec 9:7 Und ich will ihr Blut von ihrem Munde tun und ihre Greuel von ihren Zähnen, daß sie auch sollen unserm Gott übrigbleiben, daß sie werden wie Fürsten in Juda und Ekron wie die Jebusiter.(dhs) Zec 9:7 I will take away the blood from his mouth, And the abominations from between his teeth. But he who remains, even he shall be for our God, And shall be like a leader in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:8 ============ Zec 9:8 But I will camp around My house because of an army, Because of him who passes by and returns; And no oppressor will pass over them anymore, For now I have seen with My eyes. (nas) Zec 9:8 καὶ ὑποστήσομαι τῷ οἴκῳ μου ἀνάστημα τοῦ μὴ διαπορεύεσθαι μηδὲ ἀνακάμπτειν καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐπέλθῃ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς οὐκέτι ἐξελαύνων διότι νῦν ἑώρακα ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς μου (lxx) Zec 9:8 Et circumdabo domum meam ex his qui militant mihi euntes et revertentes: et non transibit super eos ultra exactor, quia nunc vidi in oculis meis.]~(vulgate) Zechariah 9:8 And I will campe about mine House against the armie, against him that passeth by, and against him that returneth, and no oppressour shall come vpon them any more: for now haue I seene with mine eyes.(Geneva) Zec 9:8 Und ich will selbst um mein Haus das Lager sein wider das Kriegsvolk, daß es nicht dürfe hin und her ziehen, daß nicht mehr über sie fahre der Treiber; denn ich habe es nun angesehen mit meinen Augen.(dhs) Zec 9:8 I will camp around My house Because of the army, Because of him who passes by and him who returns. (nas) Zec 9:9 χαῖρε σφόδρα θύγατερ Σιων κήρυσσε θύγατερ Ιερουσαλημ ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεύς σου ἔρχεταί σοι δίκαιος καὶ σῴζων αὐτός πραῢς καὶ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ὑποζύγιον καὶ πῶλον νέον (lxx) Zec 9:9 [Exsulta satis, filia Sion; jubila, filia Jerusalem: ecce rex tuus veniet tibi justus, et salvator: ipse pauper, et ascendens super asinam et super pullum filium asinæ.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:9 Reioyce greatly, O daughter Zion: shoute for ioy, O daughter Ierusalem: beholde, thy King commeth vnto thee: he is iust and saued himselfe, poore and riding vpon an asse, and vpon a colt the foale of an asse.(Geneva) Zec 9:9 Aber du, Tochter Zion, freue dich sehr, und du, Tochter Jerusalem, jauchze! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:10 ============ Zec 9:10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; And the bow of war will be cut off. And He will speak peace to the nations; And His dominion will be from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth. (nas) Zec 9:10 καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσει ἅρματα ἐξ Εφραιμ καὶ ἵππον ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται τόξον πολεμικόν καὶ πλῆθος καὶ εἰρήνη ἐξ ἐθνῶν καὶ κατάρξει ὑδάτων ἕως θαλάσσης καὶ ποταμῶν διεκβολὰς γῆς (lxx) Zec 9:10 Et disperdam quadrigam ex Ephraim, et equum de Jerusalem, et dissipabitur arcus belli: et loquetur pacem gentibus, et potestas ejus a mari usque ad mare, et a fluminibus usque ad fines terræ.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:10 And I wil cut off the charets from Ephraim, and the horse from Ierusalem: the bowe of the battel shalbe broken, & he shal speake peace vnto the heathen, & his dominion shalbe from sea vnto sea, & from the Riuer to the end of the land.(Geneva) Zec 9:10 Denn ich will die Wagen abtun von Ephraim und die Rosse von Jerusalem, und der Streitbogen soll zerbrochen werden; denn er wird Frieden lehren unter den Heiden; und seine Herrschaft wird sein von einem Meer bis ans andere und vom Strom bis an der Welt Ende.(dhs) Zec 9:10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be 'from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:11 ============ Zec 9:11 As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. (nas) Zec 9:11 καὶ σὺ ἐν αἵματι διαθήκης ἐξαπέστειλας δεσμίους σου ἐκ λάκκου οὐκ ἔχοντος ὕδωρ (lxx) Zec 9:11 Tu quoque in sanguine testamenti tui emisisti vinctos tuos de lacu in quo non est aqua.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:11 Thou also shalt be saued through the blood of thy couenant. I haue loosed thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.(Geneva) Zec 9:11 Auch lasse ich durchs Blut deines Bundes los deine Gefangenen aus der Grube, darin kein Wasser ist.(dhs) Zec 9:11 "As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:12 ============ Zec 9:12 Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. (nas) Zec 9:12 καθήσεσθε ἐν ὀχυρώματι δέσμιοι τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἀντὶ μιᾶς ἡμέρας παροικεσίας σου διπλᾶ ἀνταποδώσω σοι (lxx) Zec 9:12 Convertimini ad munitionem, vincti spei: hodie quoque annuntians duplicia reddam tibi.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:12 Turne you to the strong holde, ye prisoners of hope: euen to day doe I declare, that I will render the double vnto thee.(Geneva) Zec 9:12 So kehrt euch nun zu der Festung, ihr, die ihr auf Hoffnung gefangen liegt; denn auch heute verkündige ich, daß ich dir Zwiefältiges vergelten will.(dhs) Zec 9:12 Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. (nas) Zec 9:14 καὶ κύριος ἔσται ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ὡς ἀστραπὴ βολίς καὶ κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν σάλπιγγι σαλπιεῖ καὶ πορεύσεται ἐν σάλῳ ἀπειλῆς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Zec 9:14 Et Dominus Deus super eos videbitur, et exibit ut fulgur jaculum ejus: et Dominus Deus in tuba canet, et vadet in turbine austri.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:14 And the Lord shalbe seene ouer them, and his arrowe shal go forth as the lightning: and the Lord God shal blowe the trumpet, and shal come forth with the whirlewindes of the South.(Geneva) Zec 9:14 Und der HERR wird über ihnen erscheinen, und seine Pfeile werden ausfahren wie der Blitz; und der HERR HERR wird die Posaune blasen und wird einhertreten wie die Wetter vom Mittag.(dhs) Zec 9:14 Then the Lord will be seen over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning. And they will devour and trample on the sling stones; And they will drink and be boisterous as with wine; And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin, Drenched like the corners of the altar. (nas) Zec 9:15 κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὑπερασπιεῖ αὐτῶν καὶ καταναλώσουσιν αὐτοὺς καὶ καταχώσουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν λίθοις σφενδόνης καὶ ἐκπίονται αὐτοὺς ὡς οἶνον καὶ πλήσουσιν ὡς φιάλας θυσιαστήριον (lxx) Zec 9:15 Dominus exercituum proteget eos: et devorabunt, et subjicient lapidibus fundæ: et bibentes inebriabuntur quasi a vino, et replebuntur ut phialæ, et quasi cornua altaris.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:15 The Lord of hostes shall defend them, and they shal deuoure them, and subdue them with sling stones, and they shall drinke, and make a noyse as thorowe wine, and they shalbe filled like bowles, and as the hornes of the altar.(Geneva) Zec 9:15 Der HERR Zebaoth wird sie schützen, daß sie um sich fressen und unter sich treten die Schleudersteine, daß sie trinken und lärmen wie vom Wein und voll werden wie das Becken und wie die Ecken des Altars.(dhs) Zec 9:15 The Lord of hosts will defend them; They shall devour and subdue with slingstones. They shall drink and roar as if with wine; They shall be filled with blood like basins, Like the corners of the altar.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:16 ============ Zec 9:16 And the Lord their God will save them in that day As the flock of His people; For they are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land. (nas) Zec 9:16 καὶ σώσει αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὡς πρόβατα λαὸν αὐτοῦ διότι λίθοι ἅγιοι κυλίονται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Zec 9:16 Et salvabit eos Dominus Deus eorum in die illa, ut gregem populi sui, quia lapides sancti elevabuntur super terram ejus.(vulgate) Zechariah 9:16 And the Lord their God shal deliuer them in that day as the flocke of his people: for they shall be as the stones of the crowne lifted vp vpon his land.(Geneva) Zec 9:16 Und der HERR, ihr Gott, wird ihnen zu der Zeit helfen als der Herde seines Volks; denn wie edle Steine werden sie in seinem Lande glänzen.(dhs) Zec 9:16 The Lord their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land--(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 9:17 ============ Zec 9:17 For what comeliness and beauty will be theirs! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins. (nas) Zec 9:17 ὅτι εἴ τι ἀγαθὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ εἴ τι καλὸν παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ σῖτος νεανίσκοις καὶ οἶνος εὐωδιάζων εἰς παρθένους (lxx) Zec 9:17 Quid enim bonum ejus est, et quid pulchrum ejus, nisi frumentum electorum, et vinum germinans virgines?](vulgate) Zechariah 9:17 For howe great is his goodnesse! and howe great is his beautie! corne shall make the yong men cherefull, and newe wine the maides.(Geneva) Zec 9:17 Denn was haben sie doch Gutes, und was haben sie doch Schönes! Korn macht Jünglinge und Most macht Jungfrauen blühen.(dhs) Zec 9:17 For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new wine the young women.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 10:1 ============ Zec 10:1 Ask rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain-- The Lord who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man. (nas) Zec 10:1 αἰτεῖσθε ὑετὸν παρὰ κυρίου καθ᾽ ὥραν πρόιμον καὶ ὄψιμον κύριος ἐποίησεν φαντασίας καὶ ὑετὸν χειμερινὸν δώσει αὐτοῖς ἑκάστῳ βοτάνην ἐν ἀγρῷ (lxx) Zec 10:1 [Petite a Domino pluviam in tempore serotino, et Dominus faciet nives: et pluviam imbris dabit eis, singulis herbam in agro.(vulgate) Zechariah 10:1 Aske you of the Lord raine in the time of the latter raine: so shall the Lorde make white cloudes, and giue you showers of raine, and to euery one grasse in the field.(Geneva) Zec 10:1 So bittet nun vom HERRN Spätregen, so wird der HERR Gewölk machen und euch Regen genug geben zu allem Gewächs auf dem Felde.(dhs) Zec 10:1 Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain.
