(nasb) Ecl 3:9 What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? (nkjv) Ecl 3:9 Man arbeite, wie man will, so hat man doch keinen Gewinn davon.(dhs) Ecl 3:9 τίς περισσεία τοῦ ποιοῦντος ἐν οἷς αὐτὸς μοχθεῖ (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:10 ============ Ecl 3:10 I have seen the task which God has given the sons of men with which to occupy themselves. (nasb) Ecl 3:10 I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. (nkjv) Ecl 3:10 Ich sah die Mühe, die Gott den Menschen gegeben hat, daß sie darin geplagt werden.(dhs) Ecl 3:10 εἶδον σὺν τὸν περισπασμόν ὃν ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τοῦ περισπᾶσθαι ἐν αὐτῷ (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:11 ============ Ecl 3:11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. (nasb) Ecl 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. (nkjv) Ecl 3:11 Er aber tut alles fein zu seiner Zeit und läßt ihr Herz sich ängsten, wie es gehen solle in der Welt; denn der Mensch kann doch nicht treffen das Werk, das Gott tut, weder Anfang noch Ende.(dhs) Ecl 3:11 σὺν τὰ πάντα ἐποίησεν καλὰ ἐν καιρῷ αὐτοῦ καί γε σὺν τὸν αἰῶνα ἔδωκεν ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν ὅπως μὴ εὕρῃ ὁ ἄνθρωπος τὸ ποίημα ὃ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς καὶ μέχρι τέλους (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:12 ============ Ecl 3:12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime; (nasb) Ecl 3:12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, (nkjv) Ecl 3:12 Darum merkte ich, daß nichts Besseres darin ist denn fröhlich sein und sich gütlich tun in seinem Leben.(dhs) Ecl 3:12 ἔγνων ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀγαθὸν ἐν αὐτοῖς εἰ μὴ τοῦ εὐφρανθῆναι καὶ τοῦ ποιεῖν ἀγαθὸν ἐν ζωῇ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:13 ============ Ecl 3:13 moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor--it is the gift of God. (nasb) Ecl 3:13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor--it is the gift of God. (nkjv) Ecl 3:13 Denn ein jeglicher Mensch, der da ißt und trinkt und hat guten Mut in aller seiner Arbeit, das ist eine Gabe Gottes.(dhs) Ecl 3:13 καί γε πᾶς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς φάγεται καὶ πίεται καὶ ἴδῃ ἀγαθὸν ἐν παντὶ μόχθῳ αὐτοῦ δόμα θεοῦ ἐστιν (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:14 ============ Ecl 3:14 I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him. (nasb) Ecl 3:14 I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. (nkjv) Ecl 3:14 Ich merkte, daß alles, was Gott tut, das besteht immer: man kann nichts dazutun noch abtun; und solches tut Gott, daß man sich vor ihm fürchten soll.(dhs) Ecl 3:14 ἔγνων ὅτι πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός αὐτὰ ἔσται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν προσθεῖναι καὶ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀφελεῖν καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἐποίησεν ἵνα φοβηθῶσιν ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:15 ============ Ecl 3:15 That which is has been already and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by. (nasb) Ecl 3:15 That which is has already been, And what is to be has already been; And God requires an account of what is past. (nkjv) Ecl 3:15 Was geschieht, das ist zuvor geschehen, und was geschehen wird, ist auch zuvor geschehen; und Gott sucht wieder auf, was vergangen ist.(dhs) Ecl 3:15 τὸ γενόμενον ἤδη ἐστίν καὶ ὅσα τοῦ γίνεσθαι ἤδη γέγονεν καὶ ὁ θεὸς ζητήσει τὸν διωκόμενον (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:16 ============ Ecl 3:16 Furthermore, I have seen under the sun that in the place of justice there is wickedness and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness. (nasb) Ecl 3:16 Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there. (nkjv) Ecl 3:16 Weiter sah ich unter der Sonne Stätten des Gerichts, da war ein gottlos Wesen, und Stätten der Gerechtigkeit, da waren Gottlose.(dhs) Ecl 3:16 καὶ ἔτι εἶδον ὑπὸ τὸν ἥλιον τόπον τῆς κρίσεως ἐκεῖ ὁ ἀσεβής καὶ τόπον τοῦ δικαίου ἐκεῖ ὁ ἀσεβής (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:17 ============ Ecl 3:17 I said to myself, "God will judge both the righteous man and the wicked man," for a time for every matter and for every deed is there. (nasb) Ecl 3:17 I said in my heart, "God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work." (nkjv) Ecl 3:17 Da dachte ich in meinem Herzen: Gott muß richten den Gerechten und den Gottlosen; denn es hat alles Vornehmen seine Zeit und alle Werke.(dhs) Ecl 3:17 εἶπα ἐγὼ ἐν καρδίᾳ μου σὺν τὸν δίκαιον καὶ σὺν τὸν ἀσεβῆ κρινεῖ ὁ θεός ὅτι καιρὸς τῷ παντὶ πράγματι καὶ ἐπὶ παντὶ τῷ ποιήματι (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:18 ============ Ecl 3:18 I said to myself concerning the sons of men, "God has surely tested them in order for them to see that they are but beasts." (nasb) Ecl 3:18 I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals." (nkjv) Ecl 3:18 Ich sprach in meinem Herzen: Es geschieht wegen der Menschenkinder, auf daß Gott sie prüfe und sie sehen, daß sie an sich selbst sind wie das Vieh.(dhs) Ecl 3:18 ἐκεῖ εἶπα ἐγὼ ἐν καρδίᾳ μου περὶ λαλιᾶς υἱῶν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ὅτι διακρινεῖ αὐτοὺς ὁ θεός καὶ τοῦ δεῖξαι ὅτι αὐτοὶ κτήνη εἰσὶν καί γε αὐτοῖς (lxx) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:19 ============ Ecl 3:19 For the fate of the sons of men and the fate of beasts is the same. As one dies so dies the other; indeed, they all have the same breath and there is no advantage for man over beast, for all is vanity. (nasb) Ecl 3:19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. All came from the dust and all return to the dust. (nasb) Ecl 3:20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. (nasb) Ecl 3:21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth? For who will bring him to see what will occur after him? (nasb) Ecl 3:22 So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him? (nkjv) Ecl 3:22 So sah ich denn, daß nichts Besseres ist, als daß ein Mensch fröhlich sei in seiner Arbeit; denn das ist sein Teil.
